10 Best All-inclusive Resorts in Playa del Carmen

"Located right in the city, I find the location unbeatable for being in Playa del Carmen while still offering a proper beach holiday; the resort centers around a fabulous pool deck (lively by day with entertainment and music) plus a quieter, secluded pool for tranquility. The beach is relatively small, but rooms are spacious and well-lit with double-jetted tubs, and dining includes seven lounges and bars, à la carte restaurants, buffets, and 24-hour in-room dining (reservations required at all restaurants). The spa features a hydrotherapy circuit with sauna, steam room, cold plunge, and hydro tubs, and activities range from a gym and rooftop tennis court to themed evening entertainment." - Meagan Drillinger Meagan Drillinger Meagan Drillinger left New York City for a life on the road. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely amazing stay! The resort is right on the beach with stunning views and easy access to the water. There were several beautiful pools to choose from — each with its own vibe, from quiet and relaxing to fun and lively. The restaurants offered a great variety of food, and every meal we had was delicious. What really stood out was the service — every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay special. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for a relaxing, all-inclusive getaway where you can truly unwind and be pampered, this is the place to go. We can’t wait to come back!

We LOVED our stay at Hyatt Vivid PDC! Came for a girls trip with my mom (and to scout out as a wedding venue) and it was gorgeous. The resort is in a prime location, steps away from 5th Avenue PDC. The beach is tiny due to erosion, but youre also steps away from the Cozumel ferry. The food was outstanding too, we heard from some folks around the pool the food was not as good as it used to be, but honestly we had no idea what they were talking about. Dolma was our favorite and Rudy and Valentin took incredible care of us. The Spa was perfect, Milly and Esther did a phenomenal job and the hydrotherapy was so relaxing. Tons of activities by the pool as well, Zander and the whole entertainment team are awesome and want folks to have a great party time. Friday Caribbean Party was a blast, Charlie the DJ knows what he is doing!! A highlight as well is they are always wanting to make sure your stay is enjoyable - I mentioned in an offhand comment to staff that my mattress had a large divet in it (which was really the only complaint). I had a new mattress the next day! I'm so excited to get married here next year and know everyone is in for a treat!

This is my first time staying at an Adults Only hotel and I have to say that, Hyatt Vivid in Playa del Carmen is an amazing place! Not only are the grounds beautiful but the staff is wonderful. From the entertainment team ( shout out to AARON) to the cleaning( gracias Leticia) and serving staff. I want to give a special thanks to head chef Aldo!! His demeanor and willingness to make my stay and all others is exceptional. He leads as an example! Thank you Hyatt Vivid. I will be back 🙂

A true 5 star resort hotel. From the moment you walk in you are treated like royalty. The staff is humble, kind, and take great pleasure in ensuring your experience is nothing short of incredible and relaxing. From the small details like Chef Arturo offering to make my wife a dish off menu, the grand shows every single night, The bartenders like Ezekiel crafting cocktails on the spot after conversing with us to find our preferences, Manuel the pool cabana attendant keeping us served relentlessly through out the hott day all with a big smile in their heart. The spa treatment and hydrotherapy is a must. The rooms were incredible as expected but the service was the star of the show. Not enought words of gratitude for the experience. THANK YOU!!!

Just got back from Hyatt Vivid in Playa del Carmen. Check in with Yadina was great! She gave us a free upgrade to ocean view room. The room was amazing! Huge room and balcony! The service was outstanding! We were treated so special! Whatever we asked for they would go out of their way to make it happen! We wanted steak without the extra charge and they brought a huge platter of ribeye, filets and sirloin!

My wife and I had an amazing experience at the Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen. It was our first time in the Cancun area, and upon arrival, the concierge made us feel so welcomed and informed us of all available options on the resort and a few local options as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the food was awesome! The resort grounds were beautiful and well kept. Our room was clean! Street vendors were a block away as well. Great time immersing into the local culture and much need vacation!

The Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen resort (formerly Hilton) is an excellent choice for an Adults Only - All Inclusive. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is phenomenal. And you cannot beat the price.||We have stayed in the swim-up suites twice now and pool drink service means you don't have to get out to enjoy the libations. Add room service and you really don't have to leave your room area.||There are some up-sales things, but those are minimal and the enjoyment of your stay is not likely dependent on them. If you are wanting bottles of wine and tomahawk steaks, you will pay extra. But if you are simply looking for "normal" food and beverage experience without having to worry about your budget, this is the place to go.

We had an amazing stay at Hyatt Vivid Adults Only Resort! The staff were friendly, the food and drinks were delicious, and the whole atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful. were delicious, and the atmosphere was so relaxing and beautiful. The jetter tube for two was definitely a highlight! A lot of fun and unforgettable experience! I also loved the little door for room service- they could drop off food without ever entering the room. Such a smart and private touch! Everything was spotless, peaceful, and full of good vibes. I can't wait to come back! (Mini bar in your room is only stocked with water, soda, chips, and beer)
