Had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen, all-inclusive. The staff are all friendly, very attentive, and speak English very well. Good drinks, and the buffet food for breakfast and lunch is of high quality and very tasty. Both pool area is a very good there's a smaller pool area to the back of the complex which is much quieter and generally an older group there perfect for relaxing. The main pools is where the bars are and there's a lot more noise and activities going on if you like that type of thing. We visited the number of the on-site restaurants and had a lovely time in all of them no complaints. The rooms were excellent and the junior suite that we had came with a gigantic spa bath in the middle of it, which was a surprise. Absolutely no complaints or issues we had a wonderful time. We're not Americans or Canadians and the hotel does have a lot of American staying there and the tipping can be a bit daunting as we are not used to it. Just bring enough small change either pesos or dollars and do what you're comfortable with. The location of the hotel is right next to the center of Playa del Carmen and the tourist strip there. The beach views are very lovely. Would happily stay there again.

My family's 5-day stay here has been an absolutely amazing time! We really enjoyed the variety of dining and bar options, and the wonderful service of all the extremely hardworking staff here. The rooms have personal jacuzzis, which is really cool. Dolma and Pelicanos are must-tries if you come visit! Special shoutout to our new friend and one of the Entertainment Team members here, Aranza; we did quite a few activities with her and she was super fun to learn from and she guided the activities very well! Also especially appreciated the service and the incredible food from the Pelicanos dinner kitchen staff and our dinner server Miguel. Would 10/10 recommend this resort; we had an incredible time~

I loved my stay at the Hyatt vivid playa del Carmen resort. The service was outstanding, the rooms were very nice and the restaurants (& coffee shop) were incredible! I really enjoyed hanging out by the pool most of the day and participating in the activities as well. Zander from the activities team went above and beyond and made mine and my friends time very memorable and fun. Especially when we were on the same water volleyball team, SO FUN! I would love to go back some day.

Wonderful Stay, ||Enjoy my stay at Hyatt Vivid. We love the location where we can walk to shops & restaurants plus the great room. The ocean is nice and the beach cabana was awesome. Just so relax to sit, reading, look at beautiful ocean and swim. The service at the beach was marvelous as well. Arriving early was necessary to secure seating at the cabana.||This is the first time for us to booked the ocean front room. The room was great, good size with big patio. It was amazing because we were just a few steps from the beach and the Rincon Mexicano Restaurant was just next to our room. ||The Hyatt Vivid expansive grounds & multiple pools , contribute to our great stay. The New Year Eve was fun. While the restaurants were satisfactory, the food in Asiana restaurant could be improved.||Special thanks to the manager Jose Torres and Christina Conteras for their exceptional service including arranging complimentary shuttle to Cancun Airport due to the door staff breaking my husband’s golf driver. The Titleist golf driver is expensive but my husband planned to buy a new one thus it is fine.||Overall it was a wonderful stay. I almost give 4 stars because of the food. But I love the hotel, the service and the location including the manager thus we give Hyatt Vivid 5 stars.

A great resort with many luxury amenities. Rooms are well appointed and we appreciated the stocked fridge, jacuzzi tub, balcony and prompt room service. Wonderful dining options, especially Dolma and Asiana, with Spice offering great, varied food selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff throughout the resort were so personable and accommodating. The main lobby server, Roberto, deserves special mention as their best ambassador. His engagement and service approach were extraordinary. Overall, a wonderful destination with a lot on offer.

This Hyatt was a wonderful choice for a girls trip. As soon as we pulled up to the resort we were greeted by an extremely friendly staff, and beautiful grounds. Christian checked us in, and was incredibly helpful for the duration of our trip. We were 3 in a room, and the resort provided a very comfortable third bed for us at no cost rolled into the room. There were a huge variety of activities each day, including karaoke, trampoline exercise, water aerobics, Zumba, and various crafts. At night, the gymnasts who performed were out of this world, as well as very talented musicians. Gabby and Benjamin from the entertainment team were so encouraging and provided a great deal of fun and energy. The pool was very warm, and the hot tub was nice and large. There were plenty of food choices for those from the most adventurous to the most picky. You could either make reservations at any of the on-site restaurants, or hit up the buffet. Not ideal, but you will see some raccoons out by the pool, but in truth they do not ruin the experience at all (we were scared when we saw them mentioned in other reviews), so don’t let that stop you from coming and enjoying. Overall, this is a beautiful and fun resort suitable for friends or couples to enjoy.

We have stayed here many times and will continue too. Location is excellent, rooms are great and the beds are amazing but the staff is what makes this place. Luz was our server for our swim up and was excellent. Her positive attitude and service were above and beyond. She is such an asset to the Hyatt. She made our trip even better! We also worked with Karol Arias who was wonderful. She went above and beyond with her service. We look forward to coming back soon!

Beautiful and peaceful grounds. Adult only was quieter, though some loud groups at the pool and restaurants still. Great service, spa and security. Wish the pools were heated, the jacuzzis hotter, closure of restaurants better announced, the beach longer and not public, and the resort map more clear about building names. Very soft white sand at the beach though. Love the Aromas cafe and gym with long hours, the poolside bar service and watermelon juice at Spice. In room Jacuzzi is very relaxing. Aaron's stretching class was excellent. Maria at Spice is a great omelet chef. Mario at Spice is a wonderful waiter. Not as much variety at breakfast buffet or good food as at Riu Palace Peninsula, but much better rooms and lounges. Perfect location on the beach at Playa Del Carmen though. Amstar was a good airport shuttle.
