The overall service was just okay, nothing special. Despite being a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I didn’t feel particularly honored or appreciated. Most of the staff barely spoke English, which made it hard to solve any problems that came up.
There was no Club Lounge available, but they offered a free happy hour at the bar with two drinks and some appetizers.
The room was clean, but the amenities were below Hilton’s usual standards. The bathroom amenities seemed to have been reused and refilled with non-Crabtree & Evelyn products. Even worse, they weren’t replenished daily, and I had to call reception every time to request them.
The most disappointing aspect was returning to the hotel after a long day out, tired, only to be met with strong paint fumes in the hallway on the 5th floor. The smell was so strong that it seeped into my room, making it quite uncomfortable. When I reported this to the staff, they were indifferent and offered no apologies. Communication was again an issue, and the manager refused to come out and address the situation. Even upon checkout, there was no apology for the inconvenience.
Overall, the hotel fell below the expected standards.
