I had a great 3 day stay at this hotel. As a diamond member I was upgraded to a suite on the top floor room 501. Room was perfect, I enjoyed the early morning breakfast. There was no executive lounge but the lobby bar had two drinks and two appetizers included 5-8 pm. I splurged on some entree on top of it. Great stay, friendly service, great location!

I spent two nights at the Hilton Princess in Managua. It was two separate one night stays as I was traveling around the country. The first time I checked in early at 1:30pm (30 mins early) with no issue. The room itself was standard fare on the 5th floor (executive floor). I have a gold membership so it was a nice experience. I had a king bed, decent view and a clean room. I understand others saying the property is tired and in need of a refresh but I didn’t find the 5th floor to be all that bad. The gym however definitely needs some investment, but it’s still workable. At breakfast I was well attended by two of the staff who helped get the scrambled eggs and got me water / offered tea/coffee. Overall a very solid stay. ||The second time I checked in very early. Almost 11am, well before the 2pm checkin time. And to my surprise I was checked into my room which was such a nice surprise. The room again was on the 5th floor, so same standard as before. My only complaint was the club which was blaring loud music at night; thankfully I had brought ear plugs. ||On my departure which was very early (4am to the airport) the Hilton car service/taxi took me to the airport for $US 25. A reasonable price for the service. And the driver was ready to go as soon as I was downstairs. ||Overall a VERY SOLID stay at the hotel with pleasant and helpful staff making the journey seamless.

They charged us twice for the same booking and haven't refunded us even though they said it will take 72 hours. They sent an EMAIL to the bank and haven't bothered following up. We called them 3 times to chase up and they keep saying maybe tomorrow and now it will be 15 days which isn't good enough and I'm not hopeful the refund will arrive. We need this money to spend on our honeymoon. If it was their own personal money they would be doing everything to get it back. I will delete this review once we are refunded. Over to you Hilton Princess.

My husband and I stayed here last minute after missing a flight. We thought the room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very nice. There's a taxi service for $20 to/from the airport which is definitely worth the money.

The overall service was just okay, nothing special. Despite being a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I didn’t feel particularly honored or appreciated. Most of the staff barely spoke English, which made it hard to solve any problems that came up. There was no Club Lounge available, but they offered a free happy hour at the bar with two drinks and some appetizers. The room was clean, but the amenities were below Hilton’s usual standards. The bathroom amenities seemed to have been reused and refilled with non-Crabtree & Evelyn products. Even worse, they weren’t replenished daily, and I had to call reception every time to request them. The most disappointing aspect was returning to the hotel after a long day out, tired, only to be met with strong paint fumes in the hallway on the 5th floor. The smell was so strong that it seeped into my room, making it quite uncomfortable. When I reported this to the staff, they were indifferent and offered no apologies. Communication was again an issue, and the manager refused to come out and address the situation. Even upon checkout, there was no apology for the inconvenience. Overall, the hotel fell below the expected standards.

My wife and I enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Hilton Princess Managua. Our stay started with a very late delayed flight into Managua. We prearranged an airport pickup. We arrived at 2 am and the hotel staff was very helpful. Easy checkin. The room was located on the 5th floor. We were a little concerned that our late arrival would not allow us to get enough sleep. We slept in till 10am the next morning. We were glad the hotel wasn’t noisy. Waking up at 10am meant we missed breakfast. No problem, we walked across the street to a grocery store and bought a few things for our stay. As Hilton Honors Gold status we were able to enjoy the complementary breakfast and 5pm happy our a few times during our stay. Food was fresh and excellent every time. The staff is very professional and friendly. |We enjoyed the restaurant one evening and the service and food was superb. The outside temperature was a hot 35 Celsius (95f) yet our top floor hotel room a/c worked well the entire stay. My wife speaks a little Spanish and I know very little Spanish, no problem. The staff was polite and communicated with us in Spanish and some English. It’s not a big hotel but that is what makes the stay feel so comfortable and welcoming. A few things travelers should know before staying here is there is no regular coffee in the rooms just decaf. We asked at front desk and were told only decaf. The shower pressure was low and to get hotel pool towels you have to ask the front desk. None of those things really took away from us enjoying our stay here. Overall this was a wonderful stay with no issues, pleasant memories and excellent food.|We definitely recommend staying here.
