Really wonderful hotel. For perspective, I am coming from the United States. I enjoyed, the clean aesthetics and high quality finishes, multiple pools and restaurants including the 38th floor roof top, a really nice spa with steam room, sauna, and 3 hot tubs, the location right on the beach. Breakfast was top tier, I only wished my stomach was bigger to try everything. Lots of staff, all helpful and attentive. I could keep going. Maybe a negative for solitude seekers, it can be a busy place.

The service from this hotel was great! Everyone was so nice and helpful and our group really enjoyed the ladies that waited on us at breakfast. Glaicielle & Gisele are some of the sweetest ladies and always had a beautiful smile on their face. I would come back just for them!

We had an executive suite for our family of 4. The room had two queen sized beds and was spacious and was on the corner so we had a gorgeous view on two sides - one overlooking Copocabana beach and the other with views of the city toward Leme. The room was classic contemporary with wood floors. Very quiet. Bathroom was nice. The hotel itself was very elegant and the service was top notch. Our room was serviced every day and everyone of the staff we encountered was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Access to the executive lounge is a nice touch as a quiet place to enjoy a slower pace, a quite breakfast or nighly happy hour. Executive lounge staff were amazing and helpful. The full breakfast on the 4th floor is 5 star with options for everyone, including an omelet/fried egg station and the dinner and lunch options in the other 4th floor restaurant as well as the roof top bar did not disappoint. And lastly, the gentlemen in black suits who manned the door were very professional. We stayed for 8 days and would absolutely stay here again. The location was perfect for all our activities and an easy walk to a multitude of food options. Service was excellent.

Stayed at the Hilton Copacabana for Christmas and New Years. Wonderful experience enjoying the festive season in the sun. Hotel was great. Located across the road from Copacabana Beach. Attractions are easy to get to, most are just a short uber/taxi drive away.|Hotel was really attentive and left little treats in our room over Christmas and New Years. These little touches go a long way and were much appreciated. |Hotel staff were great and very helpful.|Amenities in the hotel were good. My only complaint (if I had one) was I specifically look for hotels with a gym and given the size and quality of the hotel I would argue that the gym is a little on the small side and the equipment needs updating. The hotel has a spa suite, which again was great, but the jacuzzi (they have three pools) need updating as the settings weren't fully functioning. I enjoyed both the steam and the sauna.|Hotel has two pools, a rooftop infinity pool which was amazing and another out by the restaurant area so you can lounge outside after breakfast.|A hotel I would definitely stay in again. |I had a king size beach-facing room. The room was really spacious and loved the views of the beach and surrounding area.

Google
Okay hotel, not what I would expect from Hilton. Breakfast was subpar especially for the price, poor selection. The room was a bit dated but had all the necessary amenities with a well stocked mini bar. The highlight of this hotel was the rooftop lounge with amazing views of Copacabana, nice cocktails, good food and friendly service. The swimming pool could have been colder though.

Google
this hotel is a bit old but it has the best location to go to the beach!most important of all, it has the best service staff. Everyone working here are smiling and welcoming. The day on the Champions Parade, they offered free makeup for guest. I got the best makeup service from Camila. They offer free beer to everyone at evening time. During the breakfast time, I was served by Giselle Lourenco for two days. She always helped me to move to the window seat. She insisted to clean the table thoroughly before I sat down. Anyway, she is so friendly and welcoming that I feel relaxed while enjoying my Camomile tea here. Thank you for a great experience!

Google
Marcos at the front desk was compassionate and helpful with schedule changes due to weather back home. The room was perfect and the location amazing. Everyone was so helpful and honestly I cannot recommend this hotel any more. Please, management give Marcos praise. Honestly, he was so kind.

Google
The hotel’s location is quite good and very close to the beach. The hotel has its own sunbeds on the beach, and towels are provided there. The rooms are not at Hilton quality level, but the breakfast is good. There is a nice pool and a pleasant area on the 37th floor. The spa and sauna on the floor below are decent, and the staff are very polite. I would recommend this hotel

Yelp
The location here is great! You're right across the street from the beach and in walking distance to tons of restaurants and bars. The staff are friendly and they have security outside and in the lobby so you feel safe. My room was in a corner so I had a view of the city and from the side of the beach. Watching the sunrise from my room was amazing! You can also open the windows, so that's a plus. There's a fridge/mini bar, coffee, tv. The norm. The downside, the rooms are dated. It's not bad, but it's not great. Bring slippers to wear because the floor felt a little dirty. There is also a placard above the toilet to throw toilet paper in the trash rather than flushing. I'm not sure if this is city specific or just the hotel. If it's a city thing, I can't fault them for that. Due to my work schedule, I was sleeping a bit during the day and I could hear everyone talking in the halls as if my door were open, even with the room designed with a right turn and hall before the bed. The doors kind of slam closed so I could hear all of that, along with chairs being slid around on the floor above me. I don't get a choice for hotels but I would try another if it were possible. Otherwise, this place is just okay.

Yelp
Located in an excellent and safe area facing the beach. We stayed in the back part of the hotel which faces the city and you get view of the city and a favela. staff were courteous. But the hotel is OLD and DATED..the toilet seat is from like the 70's, made of wood. Bathroom Lights and the exhaust don't work. I just wiki the place and it was built in the 70's first under hotel meridian, then another name then finally bought by Hilton in 2017. Makes sense because the toilet seat and the entire bathroom looks like it's from the 70's. Also we had dinner on the 4th floor, the Clarice. Had the most expensive cut on the menu, beef rib. Asked for medium rare but came more like medium which is still fine but was tough as leather.

Yelp
We enjoyed a three night stay on our recent South America guided tour. Pros: * Copacabana Beach directly across the street * a hotel comcierge * hotel security presence in the lobby * great waitstaff * nice views from our hotel room on the 25th floor & the Lounge on the 39th floor. Cons: * very busy all the time * believe it or not - you can't flush toilet paper in your bathroom. must be tossed into the waste paper basket. * if your room was booked by a third party, this Hilton won't record your stay. I can understand not earning points but a stay history should be allowed. There's an all you can eat buffet on the 4th floor with an omelette station. Looks like plenty of choices but lots of carbs.

Yelp
This is a four-star hotel in a five-star location. Situated at the far northern end of Copacabana Beach, this Hilton is a bit of a walk from Ipanema, but that positioning also means sweeping views of Copacabana's shoreline from rooms on the SW side. It offers an exceptional vantage, which is enhanced by the height of the hotel -- 39 stories overall, with a rooftop bar and pool. In general, the hotel is an anchor for tour groups and cruise lines, so it has an overrun feel even in shoulder seasons, and that makes it difficult for the staff to provide good service at times (with a perpetual line at the reception desk, little chance for late checkout, etc.). The highlight of our room was certainly the view, but comfort and design overall were underwhelming. In particular, it is not standard for a five-star luxury hotel to have a sign in the bathroom stating that toilet paper should be thrown in the trash can, not the toilet. While a bidet was provided, it would be preferred that the hotel address its plumbing issues instead of asking guests not to flush toilet paper (there was also a strong sewage smell in the bathroom of the first-floor gathering area as well, perhaps speaking to an issue in various parts of this older hotel). Our bathroom was quite tight as well, with the placement of the bidet and toilet making it difficult to access the counter space, and we noticed a strong moldy smell each time we entered, with mold visible along the shower caulking and fixtures. It's not uncommon in beach locations but would should be addressed nonetheless. In terms of comfort, the bed was extremely hard, and the room overall seemed tired and in need of a bit of updating. Strong points included ample closet space, a huge TV, and large windows showcasing that gorgeous view. It's also a treat that the hotel also offers chair/umbrella access across the street on Leme Beach for all guests.

Yelp
Even more problems - streaming down. Internet down. The doors slam ridiculously loudly - you will be awakened. We also heard chairs moving at 3 am in the suite above us. Just a nightmare. The breakfast is bland with boring flavors and not worth the price at all.

Yelp
So far we are loving our stay here. Renato in the Diamond lounge has been extremely pleasant and most helpful. From the amazing breakfast layout of fresh exotic fruits to the cheese table and omelet bar I am Completely sold on the service and good life here. Rooms are average but that's to be expected in such a large hotel. Located perfectly across the street from Copacabana this is a safe and convenient area. Walking did to the local mall.

Yelp
Great experience at Hilton Copacabana. Just across the street from the beach, with a dedicated space at the beach for hotel guests with chairs and umbrellas. Building is not new, but well maintained. We booked ocean view room and received upgraded room with views of Christ the redeemer and the ocean, it was superb. Breakfast buffet was complimentary with my booking and included fruits, eggs, charcuterie, and lots of bread varieties. 2 pools, both were small with somewhat limited seating, but were never too crowded when we went. Staff was very friendly, helpful, spoke excellent English and helped with any questions we had of the city.

Yelp
Okay so I'm eating this place 4 stars but not because of anything bad because this place was amazing!!! We are diamond members with Hilton baby we only stay at Hilton's lol anyways we got here and check in was super fast and simple and after traveling for 12 hrs this is all we needed!! We got to our room and we booked a double the room is a decent size you walk in and have a closet to the left with all the things you need, restroom as well. And the view something you didn't know you needed but you got. Omg the view from our room was amazing, waking up everyday to that view was just great! There were little chocolates to sample which were good. Also received complementary breakfasts and happy hour with drinks! The happy hour had a bunch of appetizers and desserts that were all bomb. The rooftop pool was my absolute favorite part of this hotel, so this hotel is located right infront of the beach you really cannot beat this location. The rooftop pool has the most amazing views ever. You can see the mountains, some favelas, cristo and the beach. Just natures gift to this hotel. But not only that the staff at the rooftop pall was the best. The bartenders are super sweet and helpful as well as a great time. All in all I would def stay here again.

Yelp
You just can't beat the location. You are close to the beach, shops, and lots of great restaurants. There is always security present in the lobby. The employees are friendly. We received breakfast with our room. It was wonderful. There were so many options to choose from. Fresh fruit, ready made breakfast items, yoghurt, an omelette station, cold cuts... Our server brought me delicious hot chocolate. They really shine in their breakfast offering. My least favorite part is that until you put a card in the slot in your room, the a/c stays off. With the outdoor temperature in the 90's, my room was hot when I entered it. You can only move the temperature to 18 degrees Celsius but the reality is my room never got below 24. I quickly learned my lesson and put a business card in the slot when I left my room. That way it at least maintained the 24 degrees it didn't get below. The room is large. The bed is fine. Not the most comfortable I've slept in but good. The room felt a bit tired in the decor but was okay. The bathroom was pretty dark and small. But everything was clean so I was happy. There was also a bidet in the bathroom. The rooms are quiet. My room was close to the elevator yet I did not hear any noise. The rooftop pool is a small infinity pool but definitely worth the visit. There are tables to sit at and lounges for sunbathing. The biggest reason to go up here is for the view. It is simply spectacular. It really is worth going up just to look around. You can sit and have a drink but there isn't even any pressure to do that. There is also another larger pool on a lower level. It is larger but doesn't have the same view. All in all, the reasons to stay here far outweigh the reasons why you would not. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

Yelp
We booked last minute through Hilton Honors app due to a flight delay, and got a great deal. King room with ocean view for $160. We enjoyed the beach, beach boy service s, and rooftop bar. Room was clean with a comfortable bed and good AC.

Yelp
It has 3 stars because the service is amazing. The staff is wonderful. Location is steps away from the ocean. The breakfast buffet has a good selection on it with eggs to order and make your own juice. The rooms are moderate and some are showing a bit of wear. The hotel gym is ok at best. Small and not as luxurious as featured. Not really much to say about the place. It's not a glamorous as it sounds. Right in the middle of the pact. No major frills

Yelp
Located right by the beach with an ocean view. Breakfast is included. Omelettes, waffles, pastries, coffee, juice and much more. The pool, sauna, steam room, & spa is very nice. A lovely experience at the Hilton.

Yelp
Excellent location near to many restaurants, bars and nightclubs. The hotel is on the corner of Atlântica Avenue and Princesa Isabel Av. The Sensoo Bar & nightclub is directly in front of the hotel entrance, on the other side of Princesa Isabel Avenue. The hotel has two swimming pools.

Patricia G.

Yelp
We came to visit the rooftop as well as to make a decision if we were going to stay at the Hotel on way back from Búzios. They would not let us up to the bar because we were not a guest? Never seen a bar that will not allowed someone apart from their guest to visit. The front desk was extremely rude letting us know we were not allowed!! Being a diamond as status I wish for a better service. Never going back nor start there!

Yelp
Formerly the Windsor Hotel (look for reviews under the Windsor.) Great location. The Hilton has upgraded the little amenities such as blow dryers, irons, and hot pots but the rooms haven't changed. I love the pool on the top floor. The Roof has a bar with nice bartenders who create delicious caipirinhas served with a fabulous view of Copacabana. The staff seems happier. www.hilton.com

Yelp
Great location, right on the beach. Near restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets. Rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable, pillows are great. However my window could not be closed, so all the noise from the street could be heard. None of the phones in the room had a dial tone. Reported three times on day one to reception. Nothing was done, reported again day two. Still no resolution to my request to repair window and phone. I'm somewhat miffed.

Gabe M.

Yelp
Everything is subpar outside of the room service. They come up with phantom charges that they cannot explain which is ridiculous. I am hoping Hilton can rectify this nonsense. I paid for my complete stay upfront. They charged me for extra days after that I had already paid for. They knew they could get away with it because I was in a hurry trying to catch my plane. HORRIBLE.
