Food was not good. They cut corners on almost everything. The restaurants the food is not hot. They basically get the restaurant food off the Buffet line. The jerk hut is the only good thing. The service is awful. Absolutely. The place is worn down. In the restaurant the wall has white spots. My room the doors had half the trim. All in all I think it just they don’t have a care for the details. Granted I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for. But I think they are not price higher than what they provide. Pictures I attached. The omelette station wasn’t very sanitary the money would touch the plates. Not a big deal but again details. The door. I attached this because when I brought it up the employees said. “There’s no perfect room” understood. Phone has no directory. Pool chairs are disgusting. Then last is restaurant wall. Only think I will say is look for reviews for YouTube videos after this Hilton to dreams transition but I do not recommend this hotel at all.

My family and I had a great time at this resort. Food was amazing , everyone was friendly , and entertainment was great especially the steel pan team. |My kids have allergies and they went above and beyond to accommodate for them! Eggless pancakes , eggless desserts and just making sure the other meals were allergen free! I really appreciated the effort they put into making sure my babies were going to be safe . So shouout to Miguel and Garth and Cassandra and Rayon all apart of the culinary team! I would definitely recommend coming here!

Wow, what an amazing holiday. My Wife and myself have just spent two weeks at this resort. Cannot honestly not find a fault. The pool, lazy river, spacious white sandy beach, give you an array of options of chilling and having fun. We used the free sailing a couple of times and the gentlemen who took us out on the water were very chatty and friendly. We had a lovely room with partial sea view aswell as the resort and mountains. Food was of a very good quality, and plenty of choice. Best of all was the jerk hut during the day. No issues getting a sun bed whatever time you surfaced, and they were quality and comfy. The coffee and snacks bar was amazing, and was our daily visit after breakfast and when we finished in the sun for the day. Beach was cleared of any sea grass on regular basis and sea was warm and beautiful. Room was nice, comfy bed, big tv, and air con was very nice. Nightly entertainment was varied and mostly very entertaining( that was only personal choice). Finally the staff and Jamaican people were lovely and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely will be returning to Jamaica, with so much more to see.

My husband and I have had a lovely getaway to the Hilton Rose Hall Resort. Pros: The resort was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the “East Beach” which was quieter during the day and then would move towards the pool as people went in to prepare for dinner. Food was fine, about average for what you’d expect at an All Inclusive. We loved the Italian restaurant and had the best chickpeas ever at the Asian restaurant (would love the recipe!!). We did not try the Jerk Shack or Rum Factor as we don’t tend to like curried or heavily spiced food. The staff was lovely and was always pleasant. Cons: There were a few things in our room (outlet, smoke detector?) that stayed lit up or flashed throughout the night which disrupted our sleep at times. Our toilet also ran frequently, filling up and emptying itself numerous times an hour. The bars did not have bananas throughout our stay, which limited the number of frozen drinks available. You can tell the resort is older (compared to Hilton Cancun where we stayed in 2023) but this did not take away from our experience. We would absolutely come back and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.

I had such a fun time at this resort for the destination wedding I attended in late May. Overall most of the staff were absolutely amazing, helpful, and hilarious. They made the whole experience feel like nonstop fun and really made us feel welcome. The beach was stunning, and the lazy river had me feeling like a big kid… a big drunk kid 😂. And don’t even get me started on the beef patties—I wish I could’ve packed them in my suitcase and brought them home. SO good. That said, I did have one unpleasant experience with a younger staff member who decided to publicly call out my outfit, which was a low-cut long sleeve blouse. She refered to it as a “bathing suit” (never heard of a long sleeve swim suit) I have a larger chest (K cups), and in a tropical setting, I dress appropriately for the hot weather. It felt really targeted, especially when I saw other guests in booty shorts, see through tops, low cut backless dresses, v necks and tube tops in the same restaurant getting no comments. It was embarrassing and unnecessary, especially since every other staff member I interacted with was super kind, respectful, and even complimented similar outfits. If dress code concerns need to be addressed, they should be handled privately and respectfully—not in front of a crowd. Other than that moment, the trip was amazing and full of good vibes. I’d go back again just for the beach, the laughs, and the beef patties!

I am disappointed in dreams this trip. I stayed here in January when it was Hilton Rose Hall and the food was excellent. I returned here in July and it had changed owners to now Dreams Rose Hall. I was so disappointed in the food. The dishes were mediocre and never hot. They served more Mediterranean and Mexican dishes than Jamaican. It was severely disappointing to stay at a hotel in Jamaica and be served tacos, fajitas and yucca. The majority of guests I saw were of Jamaican or African American descent not Mexican. So those Mexican and Mediterranean dishes flopped. Also I had a roach in my hotel one of the days. Luckily the staff and service were still great. Big up the chef that specifically made me some fries when she saw I was disappointed and not eating anything on Friday night. I will not be returning to Dreams nor would I recommend it.

We booked this hotel through a southwest airlines vacation. First, the southwest flight from Jamaica to the US was a terrible mess, but ill discuss that later.||The hotel. It was a nice hotel. It was recently a Hilton property and was recently taken over by hyatt. It still had Hilton branded linens and signage. We had all inclusive. All drinks including alcohol were included and flowing freely. There was a refrigerator in our room and it was restocked each day. The refrigerator even had beer in it. Also, we had different chips and they were restocked each day as well. Our housekeeper rosalee did a great job. We tipped her each day. They have several restaurants on the resort. The best in our opinion was rum Factory. They have a lazy river and water slide for kids. They have a buffet that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner that had a lot of variety. There was also a coffee shop that had coffee tea, pasties, sandwiches and ice cream in the afternoon and evening. It was a great option if you don't want to go to the buffet. I will say that in the restaurant, the portion s were huge. I think they do that for their American customers. The staff was helpful. Keree Ann with playa was very helpful and persistent, although we did not use her services. There was nightly live entertainment and a DJ. There were vendors on the property if you want souvenirs. there were cabs if you chose to go off property. The beach was fabulous. There were enough lounges that no one had to pull up right next to you.

Pros - Friendly Staff ( Tomika, Kevon, Sanchia), Great Entertainment Staff by Pool (Spicy, ZoZo, Jordan) Beautiful Grounds, Cutest stray cats, Food was ok but very limited options. Beach was private, close, and clean. ||Cons - Ran out of Jamaican beef patties, Caramel Syrup at coffee bar and apple juice. |Restaurants had a really long wait and you couldn't make reservations. Did not like that hotel offered Day passes for outside people for waterpark. The Waterpark should only be for people staying at the resort. The hotel shouldn’t consider it a waterpark. Two slides and a tiny lazy river does not equate to a waterpark. Waterpark pool should have been better maintained. Make sure to book a room on a higher floor, 2nd floor rooms hear everything. ||Do not get suckered into wasting your time to hear about the membership. I wasted over two hours of my day and heard from another couple they wanted 25k for a ten year membership. I didn't even make it that far. ||Hoping Dreams makes changes to fix some|areas and improves this hotel.
