My stay at Dreams Rosehall was really well spent. Let me first start with the positives. The property itself is beautiful!! Almost every where you walk on the property you'll have an amazing view of the sea. The lazy river and slides gives a great mixture of excitement and relaxation whichever you feel for. The position of the restaurants are mostly central and you'll always in reach of a bar or food stop. The service is 5 star! The staff will make you feel at home. I experienced no bad service at all. The food is really good. There is a perfect balance of Jamaican and international cuisine. From the main buffet, to the a la carte, there is always a great variety with great taste. I tried almost everything. The only issue I would have had isn't really a big issue as but I do believe the rooms are bit dated. They are clean but I think with some small renovations they can be much better. All in all, it was an exceptional experience, thank you dreams for a great stay!

The food was always amazing, with lots of variety. The staff couldn't do enough, always there to help. The service was impeccable, and they were always really friendly. We did have to change rooms, some of the rooms could do with a bit of updating. There were many activities at this all inclusive resort and we never felt bored. My family and I decided to pay for a boat trip that they had on offer with a company they work with, which was absolutely amazing. There was quite a hard sell for a time-share like programme, but apart from that, no complaints really.

Check-in was scheduled for 4 pm, but unfortunately, our room wasn’t ready until 6 pm. To their credit, the hotel made up for this by offering us a complimentary late check-out (normally charged at about $50 USD per hour), which was appreciated. The facilities overall were clean and well maintained. However, the spa was missing a sauna and steam room, which was a bit disappointing. Food was mixed. The Italian restaurant was a highlight with very enjoyable meals. The buffet had a decent selection, but many items were served warm or even cold instead of hot, which took away from the experience. The restaurant staff were excellent — very friendly and often went above and beyond to accommodate requests, which really stood out. Entertainment was varied. The DJ played throughout, but the music selection could have covered a wider range of genres. On the other hand, the poolside entertainment was fantastic, and the lazy river/tube pool was a lot of fun — we ended up spending a full day just relaxing there. Rooms were decent and clean. The bathrooms felt a little dated but were well maintained. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some memorable highlights, though there are a few areas where the experience could be improved.

Lovely hotel. Amazing food options and a comprehensive cocktail menu. Bar, restaurant, and hotel staff were all incredibly lovely and caring, something you do not find too often in all inclusive hotel resorts. Janine at the bar was lovely, even know her favourite letter is J!!!. Service was very nice and rooms were comfy. Good views from the room and balcony also. Hotel was located about a 20 minute drive from the airport, a little bit away from all of the other hotels other than one next door. Means it feels like a getaway. What negative I will say is that the Playa representatives invited us to an ‘induction breakfast’ thinking it was to do with what services are on offer at the hotels. Instead it was a way for them to sigh you up to the company club so you get discounts for future bookings etc.. After not attending the breakfast the staff stopped smiling at and saying hi to me as we didn’t contribute to their sign-ons.

THE MAGIC HAS GONE I have been coming to what was the Hilton Rose Hall Resort for about 20 years and there was always a magic about the place. The staff were always amazing and would do anything to ensure your stay was as amazing as the last. I met my now wife at the hotel 15 years ago. I’ve been to the hotel approximately 20 times and this would have been my wife’s 6th time. We wanted to come back and celebrate our 15 year meet me anniversary in the place where it all began. Unfortunately we have been let down at every turn. The place is now clinical with no heart or magic. When we first arrived the staff were all hand on heart, welcome to Dreams but now, only 1 week in to a two week holiday the staff are all miserable and to be honest apart from trying to force feed you a time share you don’t want, we actually don’t know what half of them do. No one can answer a simple question and it feels like one rule for one and another for everyone else. We booked and paid for a cabana at the lazy river but other people were using the cabana’s without paying and nothing was done. The Three Palms used to be free as part of Hilton but now you have to pay. The charge should be $49 per person which is what we paid, only to find out others had paid $49 per couple. Overall we haven’t been made to feel welcome, we actually feel like people here just can’t be bothered with a smile. Now don’t get me wrong there are people here that do go above and beyond but not enough for you to feel like you’re welcome

Well we loved this hotel when we visited in 2019 and booked again for 2020 but then the world shut down and we never got round to it. So roll on 2025 we returned. This hotel will always hold special memories as it’s the first Caribbean holiday we took our daughters on and this was probably our last family holiday. As other of said if you want modern fancy hotel this isn’t for you. They do have major plans for a refurb. Although this is a dated property this is kept very clean and tidy, the grounds are so well kept. The rooms are dated mainly the bathrooms but again they are very clean.||Food: breakfast good variety for all and enjoyed a fresh omelette and family loved the fact there was hash browns daily. Lunch we mainly had jerk hut amazing! Or mangoes again very good. Evenings we mainly ate in one of the special restaurants. Our first night we tried the rum factory and this was awful we felt really worried this was going to be the food quality but it wasn’t. The seaside grill Italian was our favourite and all the staff that worked there were the best can’t recall their names, but have pics and the manager was also excellent. We really liked the Asian and the butter chicken is delicious, we tried the Mexican once and that was also good. We did go to three palms and really enjoyed our meal there along with the service. Excellent espresso martini. Coffee shop was also a big hit. ||Staff: never came across any rude or miserable staff wish I could remember names but this one does stick in my mind jodedene macaroni pool server what a lovely lady full of happiness. The ladies at the seaside grill all amazing I have pics of some of them. ||Beach: was very clean no seaweed but only paddled as forget beach shoes and they was recommended.||Entertainment: this was much better than when we came before. Daytime they tended to play loud music around the water park club not my taste of music really. Missed the reggae music. ||Overall we had a really great stay. Some little improvements I would like to see to make me give 5 stars. ||Go back to mix music more reggae music and make it more like being in Jamaica. |Drinks use reusable beakers rather than plastic cups in day and few more attention to detail with cocktails. Dirty banana you never any fresh bananas to use. Improve the food in the rum factory. Better seating at night some comfy chairs and sofas rathe pr than all hard chairs.||I really look forward to seeing how the hotel changes and the improvements Hyatt make, maybe one day we will be back again.

I am late writing this review. Even though I do feel for Jamaica with hurricane Melissa I do have to write an honest review. |To start there was no welcome drink. |Check in we were told it was extra to go to the three palms this used to be included. If you lose your wristband it’s also costs a lot of money to get a replacement. |This was my third stay and my partners fifth stay. |We will not be coming back now dreams have taken over. |We had to change rooms as there was a hole in the wall and a broken balcony window next door. |No coffee facilities. |No toilet roll holder was attached to the wall.|The room was not cleaned one day.|Food has really gone down hill and most days struggled to find something to eat in the evening. There was so much choice with Hilton. |The seaside grill with the best view is no longer open during the day. |No food at the pool bar anymore. |To much chlorine in the pool it striped the|Coating off my Pandora bracelet. Staff did not care even though this was a lot of money due to the charms and also very sentimental. |Staff look like they given up and do not listen except for Jodie macaroni who was amazing such a lovely lady. |If you are a smoker there are only a few places you can smoke which are not sign posted. Even though you can smoke Shisha at the bar which has nicotine in and tobacco which they charge £60 dollars for. It’s seems as long as the hotel|Makes money off you it’s fine. |Always getting hounded by sales people to go on trips or by playa sales people saying they can do you a great deal. This didn’t happen before.|No information pack in the room. |No straws so it makes drinks hard to drink. Yet everything is served in plastic cups. Also a lot of plastic soft drinks and water bottles used I don’t get how this makes sense if you are trying to help the environment.

Our overall experience at Dreams Rose Hall was unfortunately mediocre, and certainly not worth the price for what is advertised as a 5-star Hyatt property. The hotel itself feels dated and in need of updates and general maintenance. The check-in process was frustratingly slow, with unnecessary complications that set the tone for the stay. While some staff were friendly, many had poor attitudes, which made interactions inconsistent. The food was one of the biggest disappointments. At the buffet, it was warm on some days but mostly cold. For an all-inclusive, it was surprising and frustrating to find that many things came with an extra charge—cabanas, a simple glass of wine at dinner, or upgraded meals like steak, lobster, or lamb at the Rum Factory. The beach was also a letdown. It seemed man-made, with very little sand, extremely shallow water, and nothing like the classic white sand beaches you expect in Jamaica. On the positive side, the rooms were clean, but housekeeping was unreliable. Some days our room wouldn’t be cleaned until very late in the day, which was inconvenient. The one highlight of our stay was the coffee shop, which was by far the nicest area of the hotel and provided a consistently pleasant experience. In the end, I would not recommend Dreams Rose Hall. For the price, it falls far short of Hyatt standards and does not deliver a true 5-star experience. There are better options in Jamaica that offer higher value for the same or less cost.
