Hilton Sandton

All good except the fitness room, a little bit disappointing (it looks like "Basic Fit"). It's not as luxurious as other Hilton , but in general good value for money. Btw, the shopping mall is well connected to the hotel by van.

Still a gracious old lady fine location beautiful pool area, top bar service at pool thank you Aubrey. Very comfortable beds and quality towels and toiletries and excellent breakfast. Check in slow and one lift out causing congestion. The water is hot at night but lukewarm in the morning. Windows don't open so aircon on, not ideal for me. Still a lovely hotel but wear and tear evident. Breakfast area wooden screens have holes and chips. Pool gardens and pool area excellent. Breakfast servers attentive and on the ball.

Quite average experience. Check in was lengthy. Very limited dining menu. Banquet and Conference staff super friendly and helpful. Staff was warm and welcoming but waited long for room allocation. Engineering was kind enough to bring a fan because air-conditioning was functional but needs total overhaul!

Facilities are a little date but the rooms are comfortable and decently spacious. Service is friendly, pricing is extremely reasonable. Would have wished that the breakfast be a little bit higher quality. Property is leaving the Hilton brand on July 1st.

Great hotel but needs updating. I have not seen a DVD player in a room for years. :) Super friendly staff. Parking for 3 days was some what cumbersome having to pay upfront but get new tickets to leave each time in a busy hotel with queues. Otherwise super place, great breakfast, great location.

This hotel is immediately clean and the staff is excellent! (especially Rudo). She checked is in and was very courteous and professional. I left a backpack with many personal belongings in an Uber and she tried her very best to help us locate the driver. She even got the security team involved and I was eventually able to recover my things. Marc was also very involved and kept checking on us. They have a shuttle that runs to Mandela Square every 30 minutes and the drivers are very punctual. The restaurant is top tier but I wish there was a little more variety in the breakfast buffet. I'm considering becoming a rewards member because of my stay. Thank you Hilton Sandton!

I am happy to update my review from yesterday as the hotel quickly and adequately addressed the issues I mentioned to them. Breakage and Dinner buffets were excellent. Clean comfortable rooms Earlier review: My room temperature was set/fixed at 75 degrees Fahrenheit (24 celcius) I couldn't decrease the temperature to make the room comfortable for sleeping. The blanket was too thick for 75 degrees. I woke up sweating and had a miserable night. The windows cannot be opened for fresh air and there is no fan in te rooms. Room is nicely decorated but the high temperature and thick blanket makes sleeping uncomfortable. The adjustable thermostat is apparently for looks only not to make the room comfortable for the guests comfort. This is in room 132. Not sure if all rooms are like this 🤔

The rooms are outdated, there are no charging ports near the bed. The TV has a few channels no Netflix or YouTube. Water was warm not hot. Other than that the service was wonderful. Reception staff was super friendly, attentive and always ready to help. The dinner at the restaurant was fantastic, breakfast leaves much to be desired. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was sad to leave.
