The Best Hotels in Sedona, Arizona

"With its great location at the entrance of town, reasonable rates, and numerous suites, the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock is an ideal place to stay for families of all ages. The property’s name references its view and proximity (under a mile) to the famous Bell Rock, one of Sedona’s many red rock formations, and you’ll have no trouble finding an available room thanks to the plentiful options. There are both kid and pet-friendly accommodations and amenities, and the resort’s proximity to Sedona Golf Resort is a strong bonus for those looking to book tee times. The recent renovations brought a much-needed refresh to the rooms, and the new patio fire bowls are perfect for sitting around and taking in the expansive views of the surrounding landscape."

Stayed here with my partner to celebrate our 8 year anniversary and we got upgraded to a room with a fire pit. The check-in process through the app was phenomenal! Didn't even need keys. Just used the phone and was able to share it with my partner. Highly recommend this property. However, if you have issues walking make sure to ask for a room closer to the lobby. The walkway was long so we definitely got our steps in. Can't wait to go back when it is cooler and explore even more! Oh and the salad I had was delicious, fresh peaches. YUM!!

Our recent stay was truly exceptional thanks to a complimentary upgrade and an outstanding view. They went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special, providing a lovely bottle of wine. The hotel's welcoming attitude towards our canine companion was the cherry on top. We were thoroughly impressed with the level of service and attention to detail. We highly recommend this establishment for a relaxing and memorable experience.

The staff was above and beyond! Courteous and so helpful! The views of the Sedona rocks are priceless! The Kitchenette inside the rooms are perfect when traveling with kids. The interior design decor is breathtaking...I got some inspiration to use at my own house. Did I mention the gorgeous plants. The pool was perfect along with available towels. It was neat to also get a copy of newspapers at the lobby.

It's a beautiful property & the people who work there are amazing. I have to give a big shout out to Ethan, what an amazing front desk team member. The young lady bartender @ pool bar, the bartender at main bar both were great, goes above & beyond. The dining room hostess , she was such a lovely lady, made my wife feel like millions dollar women. The server gave great service. The only thing that came short of my expectations was that the dinner menu was very, very limited, don't get me wrong, the food tasted very good for what they had.

Let me start by saying this place was fantastic. Some reviews I just didn’t understand why they weren’t five stars. Was there construction? yes! Was the food a bit pricey. yes! But over all we honestly weren’t in Arizona for that. We showered and slept at the resort. But our vacation was Arizona and all it has to offer. We had dinner there June 29 after flying from Ohio and trekking to the Grand Canyon. Superb! June 30 we started with breakfast. Fast and delicious. Our server was awesome. I can’t remember her name. She gave my husband free ice tea. He is a bit picky when it comes to his iced tea. He went golfing and I stayed at the cascading pool and had lunch, fantastic. July 1 and July 2 we had breakfast again at the resort. Our server Jesus was the best. He remembered us and always greeted us with a smile. Also have a wonderful wedding anniversary September 1 st Jesus! July 2 I enjoyed the adult pool while my husband golfed until it rained. We had drinks at the bar and our bartender Noe was equally nice. Over all our vacation was perfect. We loved the resort and the area. We definitely will be back. I don’t normally give reviews but I felt I had to because I was so pleased with our experience. Also it’s dog friendly. It made me want to bring our Lab.

This is a very nice hotel although the complete front entrance is under construction right now. We were promised a room with a view of the red rocks and we actually had a view of the parking lot, but they didn’t really have any other large family suites to give us as the others were taken. Other than that, it was a really nice property. The gym and fitness center are lovely in the pool area is well maintained. There are a number of restaurants and a few shops directly in front of the hotel so we never ate in the hotel.

Came here to do some hiking but cause the resort was so nice, I didn’t want to leave. They have lots of table setups to relax n have a drink. The adult lap pool was a nice surprise. Dinner offers some really tasty dishes.

Google
We had such an amazing weekend here! The room is very spacious and clean! Our room was across the pool and we didn’t hear any noise, the rooms are well insulated! The staff is all super friendly and helpful! We took advantage of the free exercise classes and lap pool and the spa with the jacuzzi and sauna and it was all very nice! I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Yelp
My husband and I had a wonderful time staying here for several nights right after Christmas. We appreciated the well appointed gym that was available, the laundry room, and our clean and spacious suite. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, especially the bellhop who went above and beyond anytime we talked to him. Restaurant had great staff and good food but was definitely pricey. Hotel is not in Sedona, so be aware of that but we wound up liking that we were not in the Sedona traffic as often.

Yelp
3.25* It is hard to rate the Hilton Sedona at Bell Rock. I booked a marketing package where I sat through a 90 minute sales pitch in exchange for a suite for $130/night including taxes and some other incentives. Plus I'm Hilton gold which paid for $36 in food and drinks each day. So the value was excellent although for the folks paying $400 or $500 per night, I understand the low reviews, as this didn't feel like a 4 star resort and was more like a 3-star one in terms of the amenities. First, the good: Room waa clean, spacious, and comfortable and we enjoyed the balcony for our daily glass of wine at night overlooking the red rocks. The location was ideal, a few minutes outside of Sedona but not in the heart of the traffic and congestion. The gym was well-equipped and I enjoyed the morning workout class I took. All staff we interacted with were friendly and attentive and they have a text-based concierge service which worked quite well. Now, the not so good: The food is well below average despite the high prices. We got the queso and guacamole appetizer a couple of times (there were no other appetizer options for my wife who's vegetarian). The queso tasted like velveta, and for $18 + tax the portion was small for sharing. Another time we got the breakfast burritos and the only flavor they had was from the hot sauce I doused them with. I also found it strange that despite having a large kitchenette, no plates, silverware, or cookware was provided, just a mini fridge and a microwave. Bottom line--if you were offered a marketing package discount then by all means stay here; we thought that at $130/nt ir was a great value despite the things noted above. But at $300/$400+ per night, I would take a pass and stay elsewhere.

Yelp
This is a nice enough hotel that benefits from a gorgeous setting. To call it a resort or a spa is a stretch. The rooms are quite worn and feel more like a roadside Residence Inn than a luxury resort. Great for a 3-Star hotel, but definitely not worth it at the price.

Austin P.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I evacuated from the LA wildfires leaving our apartment and lives behind. As I entered the lobby in tears asking for any discount they could offer for relief for victims of the fire I was denied any sort of discount or even sympathy. While checking in, my suitcase was stolen right infront of the front desk!!! after calling the cops my bag suddenly " appeared" in the women's restroom. My laptop was stolen. A police report was filed and I filed a report with the hotel for insurance. I asked the manager for a claim number and he refused to provide one. He insisted we call the hotel directly , red flag?! Yes! We have called the hotel three times and asked for the manager who promised he would be working Monday and would answer our calls. the front desk has told us that he will return our calls this evening... still nothing. This hotel was exspensive, rude, and shady. DO NOT STAY HERE

Yelp
Nice hotel with some cool amenities like bubble tent dinning & S'mores kits . The views are nice also even from your room. Staff was very accommodating. It has a Pueblo style & is close to some local hiking of all levels. No loud parties while we were there. They have a nice pool area & are close to food & shopping. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Sherry W.

Yelp
We loved this hotel. Only problem was we only stayed two nights. Could have stayed longer. Great location, quieter area but close to downtown Sedona. We loved our room which has separate living area and bedroom. Updated and clean. Lots to do here. We had a massage and enjoyed the steam room and sauna. The outdoor patio was awesome with many firepits. Only negative is that the appetizers and drinks are overpriced. Could probably get more customers if you gave bigger portions. Beautiful golf coarse and walking distance to other restaurants.

Yelp
Great place to stay. The patio is amazing. Live music 7:00 -9:00 pm Great service, great food

Yelp
This resort (I use the term loosely) rests on its laurels based on location and views in the Village of Oak Creek. The reality is a tired hotel in desperate need of updating. Pools- the main pool is subpar. *the deck is eroding with rust in some spots. *the side that is oriented toward kids is much larger than the sort of adult side. *Speaking of kids: this is where parents go to forget about their unruly brats. They become everyone else's problem. There were three obnoxious girls who kept canon balling into the pool right next to other swimmers. Three little jerks with their useless father checked out on his cellphone. Another guest mentioned to me that he couldn't get over how rude they were. When the pool bar opened a nice guy made several attempts to manage children the parents were ignoring. Constant: no jumping, no climbing, no yelling etc. * Want sanity? Go over to the spa and use the large lap pool. It's adult only and very chill. * Both pool areas have worn away, missing tiles. They could use a good vacuuming and skimming. Never saw anyone tending to the pools. Room 2028: *Why are worn out peeling chairs the first thing that greets us? You don't see that in the commercials starring Paris Hilton right? *Most of the suite is carpeted with worn out dated patterns. It appeared clean. * visible water damage on the bathroom counter. The seal is not tight on the shower so it floods unless you pile towels in front of it. *AC blasts in the living room but does not reach the bedroom. *The bed was comfortable but the linens are worn out. The extra blanket in the living room was very nice. The Restaurant: *Extremely overpriced. $100 for two average burgers and fries? Seriously?!? *When you walk up, prepare to stand around at least 10 minutes while watching the hostess wandering around, taking phone calls, and avoiding eye contact. EVERY. TIME. Our first night we were seated outside and promptly ignored. Finally my husband made eye contact with a waitress who kindly took our order. Our food was served by the manager. Props to him. We decided to avoid this place for the rest of our stay. *Room service for breakfast was fine on day one. Day two- we were told there was no one to deliver. Then someone could come but it was all to go packaging like the COVID days. Also overpriced by a mile. *They've crammed a coffee station in front of the restaurant bar. It closes at noon and then there's no coffee available. One day we got there at 11:45 and it was already closed. Food service sucks! Can't warn you enough. AVOID! Pool bar: very nice bartender. Thanks! I thought an ice cream sandwich would be nice. It was two huge stale cookies with ice cream in the middle. General Environment: *There are workers in and out of the first floor back parking lot doors. The smell of paint fumes etc. is nauseating. Apparently they've never heard of sealing off work areas, using filtered air scrubbers to reduce outgoing fumes. *corridor carpet and elevator floors do not get cleaned. No gift shop: there is space called The Marketplace which is empty and closed. If you need something they have a crammed "retail" area at the front desk. Forget sunscreen? You can buy a small sunscreen kit for $32. Total rip off. *$18 a day to self park. I wouldn't really care if this place was an actual resort. Outdoor deck and garden: *Crammed space. *weird clear dining tents- probably a COVID thing that never went away. *The area is small for a resort. *Live music was okay. In summary, this place has convinced us to start using Airbnb because we overpaid for mediocrity. Hilton: NOT for the stay!!

Yelp
I tried working out in the evening but found out that it was closed. The fitness center and lap pool is open from 6am to 8pm. The fitness center and lap pool is also not connected to the main hotel. Although we booked with points, we found out that the hotel charges around $400 a night.

Yelp
Not a fan. Poor customer service (Kelly). Lots of hidden fees. $18 parking fee? What the heck. Would recommend staying elsewhere.

Yelp
Loved my stay at this resort! There are two big pools- one by the spa and one for all guests. The pools were too chilly to use but the hot tubs were nice. The hotel has ample free parking and a nice on-site restaurant. I enjoyed the outdoor fire pits.

Yelp
This is a pretty pricey hotel and I was really excited about this stay with my family. The room was alright, nothing to brag about. The reason for the 0 stars is the customer service. We had put our name down for dinner at the fire pits outside and waited an hour, never received the text so we went back to check with the host and she said oh I'm so sorry I forgot to send you a reminder let me seat you right away....she sat us at the fire pits and the waitress came by to literally yell at us for being in a place where "people have been waiting for these tables" and I told her we did wait and she was super rude, disrespectful...never came back to place our order. We had waited over 1.5 hours for this place and because my husband wasn't with me she decided it was ok to treat us horrible. 10/10 would never return to this location. I also talked to the manager about this situation (first time ive ever had to do that) and they offered me a free breakfast and that was it....no I don't want a free breakfast from the same waitress?? Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Yelp
Could not recommend this place. We stayed here for our babymoon and didn't mind spending a little extra for what looked like a very nice hotel. It is definitely in a good location for Sedona and we had lots of great food options walking distance nearby. The rooms are also large, although a bit dated. Things started off on a weird note at check in when not one, but two receptionists had issues finding my Hilton Honors number. The check in was just a bit stilted, especially considering the caliber of hotel this is presented as. The rest of our stay was fairly unremarkable, although certain events like the stargazing just wouldn't happen with no explanation as to why. Our room was quite hot so we finally called by the 2nd or 3rd day and maintenance was sent right away. Turns out all the AC vents were blocked or something so he got it back up and running, but a little frustrating at the price point that wasn't checked ahead of time. Where things really took a turn were on the last day. Throughout the trip, I had been filling up my water bottle with the water jugs they keep in reception--sometimes they had nice infused waters with lemon, lime, etc. Again, I'm pregnant and we were on the go a lot this trip hiking and doing other activities so wanted to be sure I was hydrated. Right after we dropped our keys, I went to fill up my bottle for the drive to the airport. The man Rado who was working reception and had checked us out ran over and let me know that I wasn't allowed to fill my water from the inside jugs and instead needed to use a pump that was outside. He was nice enough about the explanation, but this was the first I had heard of it. Also, we had just checked out and I feel you should always leave guests on a positive note, so it was strange that the last impression he would leave us with was one of us being scolded. And, being pregnant and probably a little more emotional than I would otherwise be, I thought couldn't he have just let this one go? Anyway, I went outside to fill my bottle (water tasted not as good) and my husband saw I was upset so he went back in just to tell the guy that maybe in the future he should consider whether something is worth making a fuss over, and a pregnant woman filling her water when we just paid thousands to stay at this hotel for the week is probably not the hill worth dying on. Rado immediately doubled down on his stance and became very aggressive. My husband was just looking for an acknowledgment and apology as guests of the hotel, which he refused to provide. He also began accusing my husband of yelling, and a manager working the front desk had to interject and note my husband had not raised his voice at all and apologized to him that many of their front desk staff had not received proper training. The whole experience really ended our trip on a sour note when it could have easily been acknowledged and resolved. To add insult to injury, in reviewing my final charges, I see we were charged for self parking and a daily resort fee. As mentioned, this hotel is already quite pricey. At check in, nothing was ever mentioned about these fees and when I inserted my card, I was expressly told it was a hold for incidentals only. When I called about the charges and explained this, I was told they would be taken off, but they weren't. When I called back a few days later, a very rude woman answered the phone and as I was explaining the situation, rudely cut me off yelling "NOPE, NOPE, that's not our policy." She refused to escalate the situation so I was forced to open a dispute with my credit card provider. The customer service is really lacking.

Yelp
Just amazing time at this resort. The corner suites with Red Rocks views are huge. We enjoyed a lovely week amongst the trails, the fire pits, gym, pools, spa, and all the amenities. Restaurants are good. Coffee shop serves up breakfast. There's a sit down buffet breakfast too. Lots of live music. Outdoor seating and fire pits. They did s'mores and all kinds of holiday decor too. We had rainy cold weather all week but in room fireplace and living space was awesome. Caters to dogs too. There were a lot of pups on the property and our dog enjoyed the attention and affection he got. Definitely going to visit here again!

Yelp
We stayed here for two nights in early January. We had accumulated quite a few Hilton Honors points with travel in 2021, so we decided to cash in some of the points and stay here as part of our Arizona road trip. We booked ahead and when given the chance to upgrade for a small charge we took it. We selected our room on the Hilton app but could not really get a good sense of where it was located on the property. We arrived a little before 4pm and our room was not ready but we went up to the counter to ask a few questions. Jededia helped us pick another room with a better view from the balcony and also told us it was ready. We stayed in a one bedroom King suite which includes a separate bedroom, living area with gas fireplace, a small balcony and dining area with counterspace and refrigerator. We also appreciated the bathroom had dual access with the sink area separate from the toilet and shower area. The room was nicely appointed and felt comfortable. We both commented immediately on how comfortable the bed was as well - needless to say we slept well. We did not have any issues with the Wi-Fi as others had reported. A couple of items: We did not see any USB outlets in the room which would be nice and the flame on the fireplace was really low. We were impressed with the grounds and overall friendliness of the employees. They were efficient, friendly and customer service oriented. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and very relaxing which was much needed.

Yelp
Overpriced. Tired. Tons of deferred maintenance. Tubs that don't drain. Overpriced menus. Tennis courts that don't bounce right. Spa water that tastes like gauze tea. Flies in the bedroom. A total disappointment for $567/night. You can clearly and loudly hear the toilet flushing from the unit above you. Moldy sweaty smelling rooms. The surfaces of the tennis and pickleball courts look new but sound and feel weird on the bounce. And they charge $18 per day to self-park your car on top of resort fees. Ugh.

Yelp
This place is amazing ! The staff went about and beyond ! I work for Hilton myself and all I can say is this is one establishment you don't want to miss. Jett was great at the front desk! Connor helped us get a suit! He was so great and has a great welcoming personality! It was my birthday trip & I couldn't have asked for any better of a stay! Bridgette did a great job being my bartender & also was so accommodating ! Zoe is by far a great manager, definitely one I would love to work for myself! Super welcoming and you can tell she really values and loves what she does! I mentioned it was my birthday and by the time I got to my room there was a bottle of champagne in there! No idea how she made that happen but she did! I know I'm missing a few names but thank you to the whole stay for being loyal and great staff!!! I will definitely be back for a future stay! I think one of the managers names was Jake/Jack I can't remember but he made sure we had a great stay too & checked on us! Hard working for sure & I believe our bellman's name was Ricardo he definitely has lots of history there and had great conversation! I'm so sorry if I missed any names or got some wrong! But thank you all so much for everything, this is by far the best Hilton I've ever stayed at! Thank you!!!!

Betty G.

Yelp
Regrettably, our experience at Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock, fell far short of expectations. Despite choosing this establishment for its touted picturesque poolside view, our anticipation turned to disappointment upon arrival. The reality starkly contrasted with the captivating images portrayed on their Instagram profile. The accommodations proved outdated, with aged carpets, and antiquated furnishings that left much to be desired. We felt misled and disheartened by the discrepancy between expectation and reality. For those seeking a truly satisfying stay, we advise exploring alternative accommodations. Your gratitude will undoubtedly be owed to you.

Yelp
This review would've been 5 stars had the wifi been working during our weekend trip. And when it rained, forget about any phone usage here. Then again, maybe that's a "thing" in Sedona !??! When trying to plan our 40th birthday, we debated on getting an AirBnb for our party of 12. But, in the long run, we just felt it was "less hassle" to get a house when all the accommodations (food, maids, coffee) right in house/downstairs. It was so easy to just walk downstairs for food/coffee. Much needed after our nights out lol The restaurant downstairs was actually really good. For breakfast and dinner. Get the mushroom gnocchi of you're ever downstairs for dinner. They have fire pits, which s'mores kits available. And star gazing events which were really cool. Cuz it's hard to get away from bright lights when living in Vegas.

Yelp
This place was amazing ! The room was huge and our private patio overlooking the mountains was stunning. Coffee and real cream in our room was a plus. The three pools were sparkling and clean and there was a raft to use too. Walk down to several restaurants or the hotel will drive you in a golf cart. Be sure the minute you arrive to check out water classes and fitness classes! So many to choose from. My husband had a massage at spa. So many beautiful nooks and crannies to sit outside and enjoy a cocktail. Staff were exceptional . I wish you sold beer and wine in your gift shop.
google avatar

Meg C.

Yelp
My mom and I were in desperate need for a massage after all our hiking! I really enjoyed our time at the spa. It was clean and relaxing. It's not super large but they do have hot tubs, a steam and sauna while you wait for your treatments. There is an outdoor relaxation area as well but there were no chairs outside which was a bit odd. My full body massage was great! I never worried about cleanliness. A robe and sandals are provided. It was a little hard to find as you pass by the golf course and behind the resort. A large sign would have been helpful, and not passing by the large trash on the way in would be better too.
google avatar

Yelp
The bar is nice and the drinks are really good - prickly pear margarita and old fashion recommended. It was hard to understand how the food at the hotel and two restaurants were consistently as bad as they were - eg: the quesadilla tasted as if it were frozen, the chicken in the quesadilla was bland and gross; steak was choice cut and not good grade, very chewy and no flavor. Our room wasn't cleaned, not that I care much because it didn't really need it but including here so it's clear this is not a high end Hilton. Ending on a good note, the pool, patio, view amazing! Just eat somewhere else.

Marc S.

Yelp
Great hotel! 100% recommend. Staff is very friendly and location can't be beat. Food service is amazing and for what it is, value can't be beat.

Yelp
I give this awesome hotel a 5 star rating because of cleanliness, helpful staff and the location itself is perfect! Our first time in Sedona and and felt like this is the vacation we needed. We were in room 2079 and everythings great! We originally booked a regular room but given an upgrade with a kitchenette and a little dining area much thanks to ABDUL of front desk, we really appreciate you upgrading us to a bigger room since we got two kids. The pool is nice they have a shallow part for babies/toddlers. You can also request to turn on fire pit if it gets colder at night. Plenty of towels by the pool area. Overall, we will be back for sure! Outstanding customer service. Location is quiet and refreshing.

Yelp
We stay during spring break 2023 (April). We were lucky that they had a room available and accommodated us since our original hotel double booked us. This Hilton is south of Sedona in the Village of Oak Creek. To get into downtown Sedona, you are about 15 minutes but 40 minutes with traffic. The hotel is what I would expect from Hilton. They have a restaurant, pools, guest shops, and lounging area. Parking is spread out in front of the hotel. You are walking distance to a handful of restaurants and a market is about 5 minutes away. The room we stayed in above average. The bed had nice sheets/ comforter but the pillows were too soft for my liking. The price was is what you would expect and of course the breakfast buffet and bar were highly priced. Overall, though we were not in Sedona proper, we were well positioned for various activities we planned.

Yelp
I gave this venue four stars because it is a beautiful hotel with well appointed rooms nestled in a gorgeous location. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean as was the pool area. The pool itself was not so clean with leaves and bugs abounding; but when brought to the staff!s attention it was cleaned. My chief disappointment was the high expense of underwhelming food. I went for a family reunion and felt that for the expense of the hotel; the food should have been of higher quality and more reasonably priced.

Yelp
We had a lovely 3 night stay at this resort last month. With so many reviews already, I will try to make mine short and to the point of things you need to know. STAFF - 5 stars - Everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful ROOM - 4 stars - Loved the fireplace and the spaciousness of the suite. Bed was comfortable but I was surprised by dirt in empty cabinets/hard water buildup on faucet, etc. AMBIANCE - 3 stars - The hotel is nice and well appointed but it gets very loud and the long halls get quite stuffy and smelly with so many people. There is also no ice on the bottom floor, you must go upstairs every time. WIFI - 5 Stars - We had 2 TVs in the room and were able to game at the same time with no issues. FOOD - 3 stars - We ordered room service a few times. Price was high, especially for portion size but food was mostly good. I would stay away from their fries but the tacos were flavorful. PET FRIENDLY - 5 stars - Love that they are pet friendly. There was a $75 pet fee and they gave our pup a welcome package with bed, bowl, toy and a little Hilton handkerchief to wear. There is a small "pet relief area" but staff advised us most dogs won't go in the tiny dirt/rock patch (our would not when we tried) so they recommend guests walk their dogs through the patio area to golf course to potty on the grass, which we did. PARKING was convenient - We were able to park outside a sliding door to our room so we did not have to go through the hotel to load and unload or come and go. It was convenient but obviously not available for all rooms. LOCATION is decent - Depending on traffic, it was only 15-30 minutes to get to most places in Sedona and close hikes. Overall I would definitely recommend this resort.

Yelp
The rooms are old and dated with chipped furnishings. No hooks to hang towels...? Really. Bedding is old And has pilling. Bed is too soft? Old? I really don't know. Staff is confused but very nice . Hallways are full of room service platters with old food. . Just very very off-putting. The safety latch is loose and it would not take much strength to break in to the room. It needs a huge makeover. It's like visiting an elderly relative with furnishings from the 1980s, office furnishings to boot! Also didn't really want to even sit on said furniture . All that was missing was cigarette smoke and a chipped ashtray. The only redeeming quality is the staff.

Yelp
Nice hotel. Very chill. The restaurant is strange. It's high end but cafeteria looking. We sat outside and the service was very good and the food was surprisingly very delicious and high end. The chicken was bomb and the charred octopus was super good! I would highly recommend! Rooms were clean and comfortable, very spacious, the kitchen was not properly stocked. No paper towels. Walk in Bathrooms shower were nice. Overall a very nice Hilton but the rooms needed more amenities.

Yelp
Our family loved our stay at this resort. The pool is a little small but the room was spacious and clean. Staff was excellent. Very pet friendly facility, they had a cute little dog water bowl at the entrance with dog bone treats. They also gave our dog his very own bark box with our stay!

Yelp
2 Queen Suite with Mountain View ...very nice size room, fireplace, balcony, separate bedroom ...loved the room, thanksgiving dinner at shadow rock , the restaurant in the hotel was amazing, patio music nightly, patios have heaters and fireplaces with chairs, very warm and so nice outside, you can pay to eat in a igloo private dinning ...nice option....had a manicure in the salon, great job and very reasonable priced, hubby loved the golf course just acres the street from the resort...only problem we had was check in....we requested a early checkin and we understand it is not guaranteed...arrived right before 1 and they said a rush would be put on the cleaning to get it ready...over 3 hours later still not cleaned....other people were coming in sitting next to us in the bar hour after we arrived and being called their room was ready...but not ours...finally talked to a jerk of a manager, he was saying a rush means nothing... they go in a row... several massage were left via phone call and email from front desk to housekeeping..they never emailed or called back... , mgr said I can upgrade you, but it wasn't a upgrade to us not being on the top floor, mgr refused to give me his name...we would have given this resort a 5 star if the mgr would have been more kind and if he would have tried to find out what was going on....at one point he was yelling at me saying....Im Not Doing This With You.....I'm not even sure what that means. people arriving 3 hours after us have their room ready...what the heck. not a way to start a 3 day getaway off on a good foot....he needs some training on how to deal and talk with a guest.

Yelp
Not thrilled to come back after a long day hiking and shopping Sedona to find that my room wasn't cleaned, coffee bar not replenished, towels not changed, etc. A call to the front desk resulted in nothing. Another annoying issue is that the insulation between the 3rd and 2nd floor were poor, we could hear all the steps from the 3rd floor. Not recommended for the price. If I wanted to pickup after myself, I would've booked an AirBnb.

Yelp
My wife and I just finished a lovely three night stay at the Hilton Sedona Bell Rock Resort. As a diamond member I reserved a king pool view suite, the suites are very spacious and well appointed. We were on the second floor, if you want any view at all I would definitely recommend either the second or third floors. Although the weather didn't allow for much pool time we did make the most of it on the last day and enjoyed the great pool facilities. If you have kids this pool is great as there is a big shallow end with water features to play in. Crystal at the pool bar was awesome and made us some great cocktails, I would highly recommend the mai thai! There is also free onsite laundry which was great and would be a big plus if you're traveling here with a family. The onsite restaurant was tasty and their happy hour with live music is well worth it! Starbucks coffee in the morning with free refills was also a nice touch. One evening we also did stargazing which the hotel provides as an onsite activity. It was a lot of fun and very interesting! Dave the astronomer brings his large telescope to the parking lot and gives lots of great insight and knowledge about the stars. It would have been a lot better if the hotel turned off or shielded some of the parking lot lights. There is a lot of ambient light there which is not great for stargazing, but an easy fix if the hotel would accommodate it. Overall the hotel feels nice and updated but in some respects there is definitely room for improvement. The hallways to the rooms feel a little dingey and not on par with the rest of the space. We had room service one evening and set our used plates outside our door as is the standard practice. They sat there for almost 24 hours and at that point I called the front desk to have someone come and pick it up. By that time there were a lot of other wine glasses and dishware from other guests lining the hallway. It took a second phone call from me for someone to actually come clean up the hallway. One night I tried to order room service for the following morning, just a large pot of coffee to sip on in the room. But for some reason that wasn't possible? The man on the phone offered me an empty carafe so I could then fill it with coffee. Bottom line is that for a room that averaged $700/night I would have expected the service to be better than it was. Not to say we didn't have a great time and that all the staff were very friendly and accommodating but the level of service could use improvement. In contrast Delia at the front desk was especially helpful and kind with any questions we did have! I would stay at this resort again with the hope that positive change can be made.

Yelp
For a company such as Hilton, I was very disappointed with this hotel, and the management was not very friendly or customer oriented. The regular staff were very helpful to accommodate. What is promoted on the website is not even close to what the actual rooms look like. The room feels like a racquetball court and was not a great environment, even if they had a fireplace, which was a nice amenity. By far, this was not an enjoyable experience, and they did not price match, and they played games with their prices changing. When you walk into the bar, the first thing that you get to see is there promoting pastries and feeling more like a Starbucks than a bar... pretty low standard here.

Yelp
My dorm rooms in college were nicer. For a Hilton Brand it's an embarrassment. We paid almost $600 for the room. Total waste of money. The front door likes like you entering 711. The room that we were in was beat down. The sink was dirty, the furniture was old, the chair has peeled off leather. The whole thing was 1970 experience. The only thing that's missing is a black and white TV to relive the 70s experience. Toilet doesn't flush well and makes squeaky sounds. Ceilings in the hallway are so low because they added on sprinkler system. They are actually make you claustrophobic. The icing on the cake is that there is no parking and we had to park in motorcycle parking. They charge any where from $550-900 for a room, that would be ok if it was really Hilton and not Motel 6.

Yelp
We recently stayed here for a weekend right when the covid19 restrictions lifted. When we arrived the parking lot was full on a Saturday afternoon and there was a wait to check in. Unfortunately none of the rooms were ready.. So we waited in the lobby for about an hr until we got a text to check in. Our room was comfortable and had a beautiful view of the red rocks, I loved waking up to it and also enjoying a meal on the balcony to it! The bathroom seemed recently upgraded too. They had just re-opened the pool area and were allowing a limited number of guests in. They had a good system where they text you if there's a waiting list so you can go back inside. The pool area is really nice and the jacuzzi was perfect after hiking Devil's bridge! I really loved the location as well. There's a good amount of restaurants less than a 5 min drive with several only being like 2 mins away. Lots of options after a busy day exploring Sedona. The staff was really friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I forgot my toothpaste and they sent some up with a new toothbrush as well, which was thoughtful! There's a beautiful patio area with lots of seating with fire pits. They sell s'more kits so you can do that at night which is pretty unique. I'd definitely recommend this property, it's perfect for a weekend getaway.

Yelp
This place looks very nice! It has large rooms, nice views, and a nice pool facility. But what do you not see? The mattresses! The Sheets! Unclean and filthy from top to bottom. Who has slept in this bed? What did they do to the sheets?? One can only imagine. It looks more disgusting in real life than the picture I took. I had hair in my primary comforter " Long black hair and lots of it. Like 20+ strands of it. I also saw hair on the floor. No one in my family has that kind of hair. The mattress had bodily fluids and hair. It looked like someone just let it all out on the mattress. The yellow orange mattress looked like someone died on it. It costs $400 dollars a night to be there. Not really worth it. It's worth like a $100 a night! Other people have reported bugs coming out of the air vents. The staff was not very friendly or happy. Except for the good bellmen! He was great . My dad requested to have the room cleaned and it took over 4 hours for the maid to get there. The trash bins are a joke. They are like 4 inches long on the top. This was a generous 3 stars, I would have given two of the rooms were small and if the location sucked. I always do inspections at hotel rooms and this one failed my standards. I was fortunate that I had two sheets and a platform for my sleeping bag to put on the bed. A total of 3 layers to cover up the soil on my bed. I may be making a giant fuss about it but I really don't care what others think of my criticism.

Yelp
Awesome staff!! Yay team! You guys really rock and are overcoming during this crazy season of our times. We were fortunate enough to have stayed here right when they had just opened the pool area. I know that seems small but when you've been cooped up like we have you begin to see joy in the small things. No room service, no cleaning rooms while you are a staying over, no restaurant, no spa, no workout facilities opened. They do accommodate for Diamond Members with allowance at the Starbucks onsite which is open. Thank you! They do a great job at keeping everything clean and prepared for you. No worries here. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. I needed an extra comforter for my bed and within a few minutes they were at my door. Pool staff was great and friendly. We asked about the outdoor shower and they immediately had it turned on for us. Pool area is relaxing as there is a separate area for families with small children and upper area that has a lap pool and jacuzzi for the adults and romantic couples. I would recommend they only allow adults in the jacuzzi. There were some very little kids unsupervised (mom was at lower pool area) eating flaming hot Cheetos in the jacuzzi! GrossI alerted the staff and they were on it! We loved Sedona and would come back to stay! Looking forward to it when more things are open.

Yelp
We stayed here for 2 nights during the covid 19 shelter in place. Since Enchantment Resort was still closed, we opted to come here instead as it was open! Drawback is that no resort amenities were available during our stay such as no pool or spa, no on site restaurants or dine in service, no room cleaning, nothing. It was basically we just got a room with an upgrade to a Bell Rock view. That was a nice gesture, probably because I had Gold Hilton Honors status. You also don't pay the $33 resort fee since they don't have anything going on. Just one person to help check in & do concierge. We liked our room view and the proximity to Sedona hiking trails. We were able to compete 3 hikes during our 2 days here and had a great time! Trying to make the best out of the situation...

Yelp
We loved staying here for our baby moon. I got a prenatal massage and while it was a bit pricy it was worth EVERY penny! We came over Super Bowl weekend and they even had a little watch party for guests down at the restaurant. We want to come back when it's warmer to enjoy the pool and outdoor space.

Yelp
It's been just about 15 years since I stayed here last and I was hoping for a nice weekend stay after their renovation here not so long ago. Diamond benefit is very minimal. They do offer what's being promised but nothing more. I got spoiled by other Hilton hotels as many of them offer more than just minimal listed by their corporate. I even mentioned about a birthday celebration but nothing special was offered. Diamond members were to revive two free continental breakfast and they do offer 33.50 per day for two to cover just a continental breakfast buffet. If you want omelet, $6 additional. Pools are heated and it was still warm during a day to enjoy. Since we weren't visiting downtown Sedona, location was perfect. Sedona got too busy and traffic on weekend near the downtown is pretty bad. This resort is outside the Sedona, avoid traffic but still enjoy the view of the beautiful red rocks.

Yelp
Cheers to: 1. The view of Bell Rock from our balcony that was beautiful! 2. The friendly staff at the resort and spa. 3. The masseuses Tana and Jill for our couples massages at Eforea Spa. Jeers to: 1. The supposed upgrade that we were given to celebrate our 27th anniversary. We originally booked for a room and massage packages separately. When I asked if that could be switched to the Love on the Rocks package which included champagne, strawberries/chocolate or chocolate covered strawberries, a credit of $150 per person at the spa WE DID NOT get that upgrade. Instead, we were given 2 free cocktails at the resort restaurant/bar. 2. The overpriced king suite room with a view that was outdated. 3. The room was clean but upon arrival, I found a dirty sock under our bed from a previous guest. 4. The pillows were so uncomfortable. Stacking them did not make it better. 5. The AC unit cooled the rest of the room with the exception of the suite/bedroom. We ended up sleeping on the pullout bed just because it was cooler out there. 6. The pool furniture was dirty and outdated. The resort definitely oversells its features and amenities in their photo gallery. It begins to disappoint once you experience the facilities during your stay.

Yelp
Enjoyed a magical trip here as it snowed as we arrived. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Meals were delicious, spa treatments luxurious and king suite was roomy & very comfortable.

Yelp
If you want a quiet area outside of the main Sedona area, this is the place. This is a review from the winter months. The lobby and the decor of the restaurant is nice. And the outdoor heaters keep you very comfortable. The service that the staff provided was great. No complaints there - and that is exceptional during this time in life since staffing issues are difficult to manage and often customer service can be hard because everyone is stressed out right now. However, this team was great, friendly, available. Conner was responsive at 3am when I texted about whether we could check-out early. We also enjoyed the s'mores and there were plenty of fire pits to choose from. The reasons why we left - first, the food was terrible. The presentation looked unappealing, the quality was well below standard, and the prices were high-end resort rates. Second, the room was dingy and it felt old - it may have been cleaned well (wiped down), but there are stains on the walls (from previous guests spilling things on the walls, floor boards, etc.), dust in the corners, the carpet and couch has not been deep cleaned in a very long time (stains - very gross), and we could hear people walking above us. We did not feel comfortable, nor could we fall asleep. However, the lobby felt updated and looked like a nice entry, but the rooms did not provide the same experience. I'm not sure there is much motivation in the area to update hotels - they know people will come and stay because it is Sedona. Like other reviews, we also weren't sure what the resort charge covered - there weren't activities offered and besides the pool, we couldn't tell what that charge was going towards. Customer service was great and we were able to check out early and our concerns were heard respectfully. Not sure if we'd return, but then again, not sure if other hotels would be much better (unless you spend $$$$).

Yelp
Not worth it. Does not live up to Hilton resort standards. I can't tell you how disappointed we were with our room and your services. Really over $600 for a tiny old dusty suite with a balcony I paid extra for that looked at the parking lot? No service pool side. I come to expect certain things for the high price of a resort location. $21 for a drink? If I want a music channel I need to pay for it? No breakfast in room on Father's Day? Pool was murky and dirty. To top of all Off I'm suffering from severe food poisoning and was up all night vomiting with stomach cramps. At least your night clerk left toilet paper and water for me. I was told someone would reach out to me about my "6" score. Never did. So I guess we should be grateful we didn't have more food. The highlight was playing golf. Service there was exceptional. I guess this is one Hilton that doesn't hold up to the brand. Not recommending your place.

Yelp
Very disappointed in our room, roof vent rattled all the time, torn patio door covering, and the topper was a false fire alarm at around 11:30 to midnight, oh and no clock, I expected a clean quiet room but the views and-the grounds are great! We didn't get what we paid for!

Yelp
Unacceptable!! This is a king suite "balcony and view of the golf course" room. Total rip off for $650 one night. This is why I will always stay at AirB&Bs as much as possible in the future. I can trust AirB&B promises and reviews more consistently and they work hard to earn my trust and business. Not only are these "views and balcony" small and dirty, there is absolutely no view but of a view concrete wall. I will NEVER stay here or recommend this hotel. Makes you wonder if they misrepresent the balcony, what else are they promising that is not true? Also, I checked in with the Hilton app the day before and they changed my room on me overnight. What's the point of a contactless checkin if you don't even know where your room is located. One positive, the ladies and gentleman working in the outdoor restaurant and bar area were friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Recently completed a 5-night stay, and I am struggling a bit how to rate this Hilton. A few aspects were 5-star worthy, a few were only 3-star, but most were 4-star. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and had a great time, so decided to go with 4-stars. The good: Location and property. I loved this location. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and vistas. I also liked that it is not located in the center of Sedona, but instead is about 6-7 miles sound to Sedona central. While this did mean some driving through numerous traffic circles to get to the center of Sedona, it also meant that leaving the hotel for day excursions was easier and closer to all the highways. And there are no shortage of nice restaurants very close to the hotel. The property is also very beautiful. Lovely lobby. Nice landscaping all around. And the outdoor seating at the bar/restaurant can't be beat. Numerous firepits to sit around, in big comfy chairs, keeping you warm on a chilly evening, while have a drink. Hard to beat that. The nightly music entertainment was also very good, not too loud. We had a suite with separate bedroom, on the 3rd floor with stunning views of Bell Rock and the other rock formations. The room came with a fireplace, nice seating area, bar area, dining table, and a small outdoor patio with two chairs. The fixtures in the room did not seem super new or modern, but everything was in good working order. Pet-friendly. Many hotels allow dogs, but not all of those are dog-friendly. We had our pooch with us, and this place and the staff went out of their way to make our dog welcome. 5 stars for that! The not-so-good: Seriously there was nothing bad about our stay, but a few things that could have been better. Service in the bar/restaurant was slow. We only had drinks, never ordered food, but we found that most nights we had to wait quite a bit for the server to come around and take orders. One evening, needing drinks and tired of waiting, my wife walked up to the bar to order. It took her a long time to get the bartenders attention, and then he seemed like it was a bother to serve her. To be fair, on another evening I ordered from the bar and was served quickly and politely. Limited room service. No breakfast room service. But you could order lunch/dinner. I never asked why, but it may have been short staff due to covid. We have been seeing a lot of staffing issues traveling around, so just guessing here. But for this kind of Hilton, and for the price ($500 per night), I would expect full room service to be available. Limited menu. The main reason we never had dinner at the hotel restaurant is that frankly nothing jumped out and looked appealing. The food may have been very good, but just not enough variety for us so we opted to dine outside the hotel each night.

Yelp
Wow! This resort needs a serious renovation! They call it a "resort" but it's really a run down holiday inn. For $400+ a night, you'd expect a nice place! The restaurant food is mediocre & super expensive; don't order a croissant from the Starbucks, it's $10!!! Pool area run down & in serious repairs. Pool was full of flies... pool service was non existent. I could go on & on... so disappointed. Wont be back & wont recommend.
