Hilton Stockton

I had a great stay in one of their canal rooms. Service was excellent -- Angie at the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. She facilitated an early check-in without making me feel like it was an imposition. I was very happy. The room itself had been recently renovated. It was super clean, well-appointed. The mattress was comfortable, good linens. Overall excellent condition. Debra was great in the restaurant. She made sure fresh eggs were brought out for the buffet and was really service-oriented. The only miss was the lobby bar. The bartender seemed to know some of the patrons but was not overtly welcoming (which is kind of what you want in a bar). The bar did not serve cocktails with a single large cube, which was also a miss. Still, I would definitely return to the Hilton Stockton. The service and room quality really win the day.

I recently stayed the weekend here because I was doing back to back 12 work days and didn't want to drive back and forth from Sacramento. Angelica at the front desk was SO kind, super professional, and very helpful! Where the awful Hilton call center was frustrating and failed me, Angelica was the exact opposite. She assisted me in modifying my reservation to add an extra day and was fast and efficient with no issue. My room was spacious and clean, had a balcony to sit on, and was quite quiet and comfortable. Parking was included which feels like a real novelty these days and was very nice and it also included breakfast both days. Breakfast is a simple breakfast buffet but to have it included was really lovely. My only complaint is the elevator situation. Out of the two elevators, only one was in service and that one was agonizingly slow. There were times where I had to wait almost 7 minutes just to get the elevator to come to me and being on the 5th floor it was difficult to find stairs to use instead of waiting. The staff also have to use that elevator so if you are there during the daytime, you can also be expected to wait extended times vbecause they are going from floor to floor doing housekeeping, stocking, etc. Which of course is NOT the staff's fault, but when it's the only elevator and it's taking forever, it can be frustrating for guests and I'm guessing staff alike. Other than that, the staff in general was friendly and professional and I would definitely stay there again.

The staff are very friendly. The renovations are beautiful. The elevator was not working. The team was very accommodating. Jordan carried up ny suitcase. He has excellent customer service skills 10 stars. Very friendly, nice and always smiling. Farisha the manager goes above and beyond in ensuring guests are happy and satisfied. She is easy to talk to a great supervisor. The service staff are friendly in every dept. Would definitely stay here again. I stayed another night and was greeted by Brian another very friendly employee. Very kind and welcoming

Nice cozy staff at this Hilton! Close to every amenity possible - from the gyms, shopping and eatery establishments. The staff made you feel safe and the property is well gated. The rooms were plentiful with toiletries and towels. Low noise through the hallways and the use if key cards wherever you go was well thought of. On-Site Starbucks. Sportsbar and Deli; ensured your stay was well deserved.

2nd week of 3 weeks of staying for work. Hotel is ok. Rooms are pretty good. Mini fridge is so small leftovers containers often don't fit. Internet is so bad often the first night of each stay I couldn't watch YouTube. It got better over time but on the second week they had notices that they were "upgrading wifi" and I saw a Tech with dozens of wireless APs to install. There are two elevators but only one worked. That elevator is so slow as it approaches a stop, like 10 seconds after the beep for the floor before the door opens. For a single trip it isn't great but when there is heavy usage and many stops you can see how frustrated people are.

Did not love this hotel. While I was here they had some sort of job fair that was open to the public. This made for a very loud hotel while trying to sleep during the day. Not to mention the safety aspect. It was a little unsettling seeing as though there were homeless people in tents just outside the hotel. I propably won’t stay here again when I’m in Stockton for business. Also, there is no Hilton lounge on site.

I would definitely return! The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. They made check-in easy and I stopped a couple of times to ask questions and they were very happy to help. The room was clean. They held our bags for us on our last day so that we could check out of the room but not have to tote our suitcases with us.

I was so disappointed during my last stay. The first room they checked me into was a smoking room- at a non-smoking hotel. I had to walk down 3 flights is stairs for them to rebook my room to a non-smoking room. The elevators weren't working and they did not have an urgency to repair them. They had already been out for 2 days work no work order in progress. I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs through the stairwell. No discount offered. They didn't tell me about the elevators until after he checked me in! Instead, they told me they would cancel my reservation if I wanted to and I could go somewhere else. After 5 hours of traveling and checking in after 6 pm, I was too tired to look for a new hotel. And I travel with my service pups so I had to climb the stairs every time I took her for a walk. This room was not worth paying $210 per night for the weekend.

A very solid and comfortable stay overall. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well-kept, with friendly staff who make check-in and check-out smooth and efficient. It's conveniently located and has everything you'd expect from a Hilton -- a welcoming lobby, a good on-site restaurant, and plenty of parking. The rooms appear to have been recently renovated, which was a pleasant surprise. They're spacious, modern, and comfortable, with updated furnishings and a fresh overall feel. The beds are excellent, and everything felt tidy and well cared for. That said, the hotel still uses the older 2008-style keycard readers, which feel a bit outdated compared to the rest of the upgrades. It's not a major issue, but it's noticeable -- especially since many other Hilton properties have switched to contactless or app-based entry systems. My only real complaint is that one of the two elevators was out of service for my entire three-night stay, which led to longer waits at certain times. Additionally, while this hotel is located in a better part of Stockton compared to some other areas, I did notice one evening that a homeless individual was sleeping in one of the automatic door lobbies. It wasn't a major disturbance, but it's something guests might want to be aware of. Overall, Hilton Stockton is a reliable, comfortable, and recently refreshed property that delivers a great experience for travelers. With both elevators functioning and updated keycard systems, it would easily be a 5-star stay.

Terrible service and everything is always closed in the hotel. Next time I'd rather just sleep in my car

My girlfriend recommended this hotel near her home to stay overnight after a late night party at her house. The staff here were extra kind both at the front desk, housekeeping as well for breakfast. This was definitely a renovated older building, but the room was nice comfortable sheets, and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was a little small and only had a shower no bathtub, but it was still very nice. It was it's not too far from the freeway and close to restaurants outside of the hotel as well. This place came with a small gym, a pool area and a cocktail bar as well. I'll be staying here again!

They told us this is the best hotel in Stockton. It's pretty old as compared to all the other hiltons I have been at. Staff was really good. Very courteous. Same with the staff for the morning breakfast service. They remembered what we ordered the day before, came in to checkin on the next few days we were there and provided excellent service. Location is wonderful too and a nice walking area. Will be going back again if we are in the area as this is Stockton's best :-)

So wild the hotel was really nice. The bed was good. The rooms were great. It was really expensive for the room that we had but for one night it was OK since the company was paying for it definitely wouldn't be back to this because the rooms were really expensive, but it was engaging in time and I was really nice to a guy at the front desk so you don't have a little bit of an attitude, but you know who doesn't when you're working the front desk and a lot of people are screaming and yelling.

We booked an event at the Hilton expecting an elevated experience/service but did not receive an elevated experience/service. Very disappointing. We paid to have 153 guests fed, but when they didn't provide food for 153 guests they accused us for having more guests than we paid for. The "captain" was very unprofessional. She approached the situation with accusations and behaved confrontational rather than seeking and offering solutions to the problem. They use this system of color coded cards to identify how many chicken and beef to bring out and if we don't have them out they don't serve, which is absolutely unacceptable. We paid for a total of 153 guests, we should be provided enough food to serve 153 guest. They should count their plates, chairs, and even the servers tally sheet before they approached us in the manner they did. Also, Carolina, the catering and sales manager told us that we can provide food for our volunteers but half way into the event their drinks went missing. No one was made aware the staffs at the Hilton took them. At the end of the day the captain comes over to us and sets the drinks on the ground and tells us, "these are yours". When pointed out that she was the one who took them She once again was confrontational, said we weren't allowed to bring drinks in, that the volunteers knew where they were, and that it was Carolina that took them so speak with her if we have a problem. Horrible experience. Never again will we ever book an event at this Stockton Hilton and definitely won't be recommending them.

This was one of my worst hotel stays. There were kids running in the hallways and screaming at 9pm. We were asked to go down to the front desk to get our own towels The room had a funky oder, someone who didn't register their vehicle on the premises hit our rental car no damage but they pulled right up bumper to bumper with our car. They hotel staff couldn't review the camera to give us any info on whos car it was. The breakfast buffet was mot desirable at all for $15.95 it was a lack luster. Upon check out the lazy lady at the front desk could not print us out a final receipt. That was at 2am I live in Los Angeles so I'm back home it's 2pm and still no email with my final receipt. For a Hilton we were very disappointed. I would jot stay here again. My cousins down the street at the LaQuinta Inn had a better stay than we did.

I woke up in my room at 11:30 due to noise coming from lobby(not their fault big open space that echoes). When I turned on the light I saw a huge roach on the wall about a foot from my head and when I jerked away another one move on top of the bed covers on the other side from me. Nope, after only being in the hotel for about 5 hours i quickly packed and went downstairs to the desk to leave. I can't sleep in a room with roaches. I requested an immediate checkout with a refund that 1st day. Two people at the front desk one said "I can't check you out, I can only send a request to my supervisor tomorrow asking her to check you out". The other added "you can't check out because you haven't waited and followed our maintenance procedure". So the Hilton Stockton told me I couldn't leave because I wouldn't wait for maintenance to go look for the bugs themselves at midnight. I had to leave and book another hotel 30 minutes away and lose even more sleep. The next day I looked on the app at 1pm and they had not checked me out and were still going to charge me for not only the bug infested 1st night but two more. As a hilton honors gold member I had to stay on the phone for over an hour begging Hilton to "ask" the location manager if they would agree to check me out and give a refund because Hilton cannot do anything for me unless the hotel with roaches agrees to check me out. After over an hour and talking to two different managers I finally got a refund and when I asked if they could do any better than the 20000 points they offered... "I was told in a very snotty voice that, they had adked for and gotten me a refund and that was sufficient, they didn't owe me anything at all" Moral of the story: If you stay at the Hilton Stockton and complain about ths roaches on your bed and near your face, you have to qait until they follow their procedures for roaches(How often foes this happen??). before you are "allowed" to leave. If you're a loyal Hilton Gold member, you should expect to beg corporate for over an hour to ask for a refund and remember that they don't owe you anything

Definitely call ahead, been here several times and the elevator has not been working. Staff is friendly & rooms are clean. It's an old place that has been updated. Probably one of the better places to stay in Stockton. I'm sure you're aware that some parts of Stockton have a bad crime rate, this place seemed to be in an area that you can feel safe about leaving your car in the parking lot.

I was looking for a venue to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday and my friend recommended Hilton Stockton. I reached out to Jennifer Lewis, Director of Sales, and everything went well. She is always available for questions or concerns you may have. Brian, Sen, Alicia, Anna, and Kennedy who assisted us at check in and the event were very accommodating and helpful. If you're looking for a venue for your party, I would highly recommend Hilton Stockton. Not only the hotel is nice but the rooms are clean, and the staff are super friendly. Thank you, Hilton Stockton for making our event memorable.

The elevators are inoperable. I have a room on the 4th floor. The hotel took reservations, knowing the elevators were not working. Corrupt ownership and management.

Decent hotel in Stockton. Rooms were clean and service was good. The gal at the front desk provided excellent service. I wish I took better note of what her name was - Farisha Yung or Jung? Haha Anyway, she was great. During our stay at Hilton Stockton, we attended a lunch banquet on the second floor. The food and service there was excellent which made for a great event. HOWEVER, the air conditioning in the lobby was broken. With triple digits outside, the lobby was a hot, musty mess. Days after the event, at least 20 people (that I know of) tested positive for COVID - people who attended the event from different households and even different states! No bueno! I wouldn't be surprised if some of the workers tested positive that week too! That said, I hope Hilton Stockton gets their air conditioner in the lobby soon.

Update to my review from a few years ago. I haven't been back here since the pandemic but just stayed here last week. They have redone alot of the rooms and being a Diamond Member I was upgraded to the Executive Level on the 5th floor where the rooms were newly refurbished. Everything looks great and customer service at the desk was great. A couple of issues I have. The message on the air conditioner shows not to set it below 69 degrees which is ridiculous. I'm someone who sleeps with 65 degree temps so that does not work for me. They should have a system that allows AC to function well at lower temperatures. I understand saving energy but I'm not going to not sleep comfortably at a hotel. Also I have noticed less and less benefits for Diamond members since the pandemic. No more executive lounge at this location (and others) only a $15 meal credit which is not helpful given there is only one restaurant open for dinner and it's a bar with bar food. The lounge was one of the great benefits we had. Other than that it's in a good location, parking is free, lobby is nice with a Starbucks for the morning. Big thing for me is soft sheets and they were great! I will stay here again for sure.

We stay at the Hilton Stockton every couple years for a convention for a philanthropic organization they belong to. In n planning the convention -- meeting rooms, banquet, etc. we always work with Jennifer and she has always been helpful and effective. The rooms are clean, updated and comfortable. All the staff are friendly and helpful. This time, we had three breakfasts with our Hilton honors and we received excellent service from Diana and Rosie. Food was good and there was variety in the buffet. We also had two lunches in the bar/restaurant and enjoyed both. We c ate planning for next year now.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The room had roaches, cigarette butts on the floor, and worst of all--signs of bed bugs. It was clear the place hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. I left feeling itchy and uncomfortable. This place needs a serious deep clean and pest control before it should be open to guests.

The employees that were on duty when we checked in were great. The next day during checkout was a complete 180º change in personality. They were indifferent and rude. This antiquated hotel is overpriced and impossible to sleep in. There is no way for people to close their doors quietly, so we were constantly plagued with BOOMS all day and night. The walls and floor even shake...and this isn't necessarily from nearby rooms. The bathroom was dirty and the sheets had some kind of weird staining on them. Normally we're very satisfied with Hilton properties, but during this trip we stayed at eight different Hilton hotels and only found one to be up to Hilton's normal standards. A very sad situation...

We stayed at the hotel because our niece was getting married at the Brookside Country Club down the street. It was nice it was very close and made it convenient. Lobby was beautiful. Check in was quick. Staff was kind. We stayed on the second floor and the room was more on the older side than new. While there, they were remodeling the third floor. I think they are working from top to bottom possibly because a relative staying on the 4th floor said their room was nice and not old like ours. The little side table by the sliding door was pretty filthy. Sticky residue was under the tray on the table so you can tell the room was not cleaned well. It was nice they had a mini fridge. Bummer there was no microwave. Water pressure was good and bed was comfy.

WHY WE WENT HERE: - business trip THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located off of Grand Canal Blvd and Venezia Blvd; easily seen off the main street W March Ln - walking distance to some eateries off Grand Canal Blvd THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - spacious lobby with Starbucks and in-hotel restaurants - my room wasn't ready or available, so I opted for a change out from a king bed room to a doubles room - my room was nice and overlooking the pool - not sure if it was just that night, but felt the other guests coming in/out in my hallway were a bit noisier than expected CUSTOMER SERVICE: - warm and welcoming

This is a great hotel. I stay here at least once a year, and I have never once had an issue. The staff is kind and attentive, and the beds are awesome. One of my pet peeves is the shapeless pillows that so many hotels use. As soon as you lay your head on them they go completely flat. The pillows here are fabulous. I actually leave mine at home when I come here, a rarity for sure. The lobby area is gorgeous, and the glass elevator overlooking it was fun for our son. I haven't eaten at the restaurant yet, so I can't speak to that. I was in town last night for a conference, and the lobby is so big and spacious that a group of friends and I were able to sit around until 3am catching up without disturbing anyone. Even considering what I was in town for, there were luggage carts available for use, which is often an issue when I travel. Their parking lot is pretty big, and the door is locked at night requiring a room key to enter. If I was to levy any criticism at all, it would be that all the doors on my hallways were pretty wrecked from luggage carts being pulled into the rooms. I'm not sure there's anything the hotel can do about that, it just looks kind of rough. It's certainly not enough to lose a star.

Super clean! Staff very nice. We enjoyed a weekend getaway with our kids and had lots of fun eating breakfast and swimming!!! Beds are comfy, I always check the mattresses and they were very clean!! So happy we stayed with Hilton! Would come again.

I loved being able to use the app to check in and communicate with the staff before arriving. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. They earned 5 stars! The three stars had to do with the cleanliness of the room. The surfaces of the drawers, desk and night tables were dusty. So were the lampshades. I had to clean debris from the bathroom sink and the shower had long black hair strands on the shower wall and in the tub. Thankfully, I carry my cleaning supplies when I travel because I had to clean the whole room. I left the hair in the shower The room was nicely appointed. However, the bathroom was pretty small for two people. I would still stay here when needed for an event in Stockton. Because the staff was so responsive and kind I'm sure I could let them know if there was an issue. Another concern I had was the hotel room doors. All through the night other patrons released their doors which slammed shut with a big bang. This was very unsettling for a light sleeper like myself. If you all can attach gaskets or something to the door that slows it down when closing that would be great

If you're expecting a Hilton like the one in Union square SF, be prepared to lower your standards because this place is nothing like that. As per Covid standards, they had extra masks + alcohol wipes at the front desk for you if you needed them. There were also several stations with hand sanitizer so you could squirt up should you feel the need. In the elevator, there was also a handy pump in there to use if you wanted to make sure your fingers were okay after pressing the buttons. The entire hotel almost reminded me of an Embassy Suites on the inside with the lobby and the glass elevators going up to the 5th floor facing the inside where they had lots of plants and a rock waterfall. Once we got into the room, it was a different story. They had a handy sticker to say that they took *extra* precautions to sanitize and clean everything. Immediately I had to use the bathroom and I noticed instantly that the light switch in the bathroom had brown stains on it. As I emptied my bladder, I looked down to see that there was a poop splatter on top inner rim of the bowl. This is Stockton after all so after some debate I decided to let it go and cleaned off the light switch myself. We were only staying for one night and it's not like we could have been upgraded to a nicer room since we were already on their *executive floor*. The beds themselves were comfy (right in between soft and firm) but the pillows are not like the Marriott pillows that are super huggable and plush. Warning: The walls are paper thing so you can hear *everything*. Conversations, TVs, kids screaming and playing. The great thing about the room was that we had a little balcony that opened up with a sliding glass door so that we could look down into the courtyard and pool. It's too bad that the the pool wasn't open because of Covid-- hopefully it will get back to normal soon. The continental breakfast was weak- They packaged it in paper boxes that were much like oversized McDonald's happy meal boxes but inside were overly ripe bananas, yogurt, milk and some basic cereal. We ended up taking the extra box to my friend's daughter who loved opening it up and eating the Cheerios that came with it. To be fair, this is Stockton and you can't expect a 5 star hotel out here but it was a good stay for what it was.

An extremely worn hotel. The front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming. My room however was stuck in the 1970's. The room decor was very stale. The carpeting was frayed, bathroom door rusted, desk chair worn out, and no bedside charging ports. Baseboards were filthy & dirty, Facility staff was working on the water supply. At times the water was murky & icky. Worst part were the bugs on the floor right inside the door... I'm not a bug expert, but I don't have crawling bugs at home in the daylight.

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed at in Stockton! I am a gold member of Hilton Rewards but the customer service is lacking! I get better service at IHOP or Denny's! First of all, I requested my room to be clean and they never cleaned it!!! I asked and they keep saying my room is on the list. Checked with House Keeping and my room isn't on the list. I asked the black front desk lady and she's super rude!!! I will never stay here ever again!!!

My employer regularly has our meetings at this hotel. It is conveniently located in an area with restaurants and stores. The parking is outside and ample. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Special requests never seem to be a problem. I added for a feather free room with 2 extra blankets. When I checked in, that's exactly what I received. There is a very good restaurant downstairs. There is also a Starbucks and a gym. I especially like the executive lounge, where I was able to brainstorm before a meeting while eating my breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel and it's s

I stayed at Hilton for one night with my family. We parked our car in the hotel parking lot. Unfortunately our two bikes got stolen in their parking lot that night. Initially we were told that they have secure cameras in the parking lot. However, when we asked them for the video recording (so we can submit to the police), they said that night the camera didn't work. So this hotel is not safe and their management is not responsible.

Don't know yet,applied for a job at the same company and they said they would give me a call back and let me know what they say about it so I'm gonna go ahead and get the paperwork and see what they have to say about it but I'm not sure what they have to say so I'll call them back in the morning

We stayed in Hilton for 6 months due to a business assignment. At that time, Covid hit hard on Stockton, so quests were few and parking lot was relatively empty. However, their service did not let down. Front desk workers were responsive and polite. We did not run into any problem so to speak during that 6 month' stay. But the Hotel is old and needs a better maintenance. Location of the Hotel is excellent, near entrance of highway, restaurants nearby are plenty. Mall and shopping areas are close and convenient.

Not worth the money. The best answer to why it is expensive was given to me by my son when he said the lobby is nice. The wifi is terrible, the water barely gets hot, there is no microwave in the rooms. I just don't see why anyone would spend extra money for this place. I guess the elevators were cool and they have a pool,hot tub, and gym. The staff also seemed very nice. There's that.

Nice staff! Awesome lobby with a fountain a restaurant and a coffee shop. The convenience area where they sold various sundries was well stocked and had ample Snacks, beverages, and various grooming and hygiene aids. Rooms were old-fashioned but in a nice way and in a clean way.They were uncharacteristically bright for most hotels these days. The water pressure was just as poor as any place else.

Clean rooms, fancy dancy lobby. Has a restaurant inside with fairly overworked staff (they do a great job though). If you're in Stockton and want a safe clean place, great option.

We drove all day, arrived herein Stockton at about 4:00p for our Thanksgiving meal with our family just to find out that our Mom is in the hospital. We finally check in close to Midnight. We get up to our room and there are no plug ins for any of our electronic devices. We call to the front desk and Vanessa answers. Her response, "Yeah we don't have those." We are unplugging things just to charge our edevices. Vanessa didn't sound like she wanted to help. And honestly, maybe she couldn't, but at least sound like you care??? If we come back, we know to bring our own charging equipment. I don't think we've ever stayed in a hotel that is not "edevice charging friendly" since 2019. After staying there for 3 nights, we thought the mold-like smell would go away, but it didn't. We informed the clerk at the front desk and she was a bit dismissive. The overall hotel looks nice, but mold-like smell could affect one's health if breathed in long enough.

I had the lovely opportunity to come to the Hilton Stockton courteously of my county job for three nights and 4 days. The Hilton has blown my expectations out the way. I do not know much about Stockton but my colleagues and natives who reside there was definitely giving me an ear full! Anywho, I love the location of this place as it was close to restaurants and shopping. Brandon checked me in and went above and beyond on his customer service. Anywho once I found my room on the third floor I ended and it was beautiful...the county hooked it up! The room was clean and smelled beautiful. Within 5 minutes they called me to make sure I was satisfied with the room...five thumbs up! Housekeeping kept my room up nice even after a mess occurred and cleaned it up swiftly without hesitation. The room was huge and there is a fridge. We used several conference rooms to conduct interviews for my county related roll so I really got to see how organized and awesome the Hotel is ran. Food was provided to us only lunch, which was delicious. The staff displayed the food so pretty! It was nice. I would highly recommend to stay at the Hilton as I felt very safe. My room also had a balcony too! I even locked myself out and everything was in the room so I just had to share my secret password or something that others would not know since I didn't have any identification on me which was in the room. They also has so many amenities to choose from. I enjoyed myself and would like to try out other Hilton's when I have the opportunity to do so. Pleasant stay, great staff and lovely room! The county really spoiled us and the staff. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Exceeded my expectations for sure.

I'm seriously disappointed with this hotel. I'm a local in Stockton, and me and the wife for our anniversary decided to get a room to spend the night away. First off the room we were given was stinking of marijuana, not our room but maybe one next to it brought the smell to it. We called to complain about it, and luckily they were able to switch our rooms. The hotel is supposed to be 100% non smoking. The new room was fine, but it was dirty and neglected. We went out to the balcony and there was spider webs all over the chairs and balcony. Also, that night we wanted to get an additional blanket, we called the front desk and were told housekeeping went home for the night. My wife had to go downstairs to get another blanket, that was so inconvenience for us. We went out to the pool and there was tree limbs all throughout. It's like no one cared to look at the details of the hotel. Being that it's a Hilton, we expected more, unfortunately disappointed. I do not recommend, and upset because I would love to support local.

The staff is super nice, especially Brian (I believe that's his name?). He works at the front desk. However, the hotel rooms are somewhat gross. It is clear that the bathroom was not cleaned prior to when we arrived. There was literal fecal residue in the toilet, and it went away with one flush too, so it's not like it was particularly hard for the staff to clean (?). There was also a considerable amount of hair in the shower, and it didn't belong to me or my sister because 1.) we hadn't used the shower yet. 2.) our hair is long, and these hairs were quite short in comparison. Gross :') Additionally, there are big holes on the side of one of the bed's blankets, and the rolling chair is starting to disintegrate on the side. The lamps are also very dusty. I feel like these things signify negligence on the hotel's part, and I don't really find it to be acceptable or worthy of higher than a 1 star review. Cleanliness is really important. The additional star is for Brian, who is exceptionally nice and courteous. Thank you, Brian!

I am sitting in my car after just checking out of this hotel and I must say this is a VERY acceptable hotel to stay at if you are in the Stockton area! It was comfortable (pillows were great), the atrium was very nice, and the staff was exceptionally kind! They helped and gave tips via phone before arriving, and when I arrived very late at night, SIN (I believe that was her name), was very accommodating and nice to me. She called me by name before I could even pull out an ID! They were able to accommodate a late check out, and it was her suggestion as I was arriving after 0200 in the morning. That was sooooo kind of her, and I am so very thankful. Housekeeping was also very kind and understanding towards me. It really warms my heart when customer service is on point because people don't have to be kind and compassionate towards others, and some people just aren't, so I don't take it lightly. Upon checking out the young lady at the front, Farisha, was super nice and very informative as I had questions regarding my Hilton Honors rewards,, etc.. thank you all soooo much for making this such a pleasant trip. This would definitely be my choice of hotel if I'm ever in the area again!

If you like hyperdermic needs And bringing home bed bugs then this is you place I will never stay here again. The money I spent cleaning throwing out bedding was over &1000 thank you for a dirty place Hope to ever see you soon Nick

Can't imagine a better place to stay in Stockton. Everyone was super nice . Key Key and Adam were exceptional at the front desk. The rooms were big, clean and nice. The food in the restaurant was great as was the $15.00 buffet breakfast.

The staff at the front desk are very friendly and efficient. Had to call them after we were greeted by a roach! And a representative came right up and caught and removed. Not the usual standards for shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and soap, just one of each, except no conditioner at all. My daughter had to go completely without. I have long hair and there was just enough shampoo, but my hair was a mess with no condition. The one tiny tube of lotion covered my face and 1 and 1/2 arms, that's it. $100.00 deposit kept for 30 days is ridiculous. Just long enough for Hilton to earn some interest and for me to have to pay interest. Going to the Marriott down the street next time. Oh and you have to pay for the buffet breakfast. Business travels can get a better deal at Marriott.

I have been staying only Hilton because I am a Hilton member and the standard of Hilton is always to my liking. But now I don't think I would come back to this location and I DO NOT recommend. This NOT a Hilton Standard and they do not deserve the Hilton Brand. This is what happened. I could first say for sure that is it ok to have one hour before check in time because we have been traveling for 14 hours so we can rest and fresh in up before seeing the family. The person on the phone needs a lot of training. I get that if you are still in training, whoever training her needs to be paying attention also. The person who spoke to me (by the name of Alejandra) needs a lot of customer service and a lot of phone etiquette. She did not introduce herself and spoke in a hurry, wanting to get off the phone. I came in to the hotel using the Hilton app. But I couldn't see the other room on my app so I decided to come to the front office to get a key for the rooms. The person in the front desk, asked me what my room number was, (that's a red flag for me). First of all due to guest security you are not to suppose ask out loud of private Information , and they did this by breeching the guests confidentiality, they also did not ask for my ID, instead I had to offer my ID. This shows how they do not follow protocol making it also an unsafe place to stay. If this person was being trained, then the other person beside them should be overseeing them instead of not paying attention at all. I was not sure if I had the right room so I wrote it down for her and gave ID and went to my room. My kids room was right, but me and my Husband's room was wrong, I opened the door and another persons clothes and belongings were there. Luckily I did not walk in on a naked person, that would be bad. I went to the front, got me a new key and I made sure to give her my room number AGAIN, but she still gave the wrong key AGAIN 2nd part my kids room. One of my child found a stain on the bedsheet. So we waited for housekeeper and when they came I thought everything would be fine. But then there was a comment made by the housekeeper like, "It's not a stain like blood, only a marker" & I told her my kids always look first. Then her comment again "even in Motel 6 you have to check" tell me what kind of comment is that. So she is telling me I paid $200 (more) per night to sleep in a bed with stain on it (don't know what is it) I guess for them it is ok to sleep on a stained bed paying rate $200 per room. I did give my concern to the Front Office Manager he told he will check and get compersation but when I checked out the next day took only half that is not compensation Also, one of my children told me about a commotion that happened around 10 pm. There was a group of people who were near their room, being loud. The group of people began to walk up and down the hallway, walking in and out of their rooms, talking and laughing loudly. One of my kids called the front desk and told them about the commotion. The front desk let security know about rhe complaint and they spoke with the group. At first, it seemed like they listened and kept quiet. But not only about 5 minutes later, they were loud once again. The security then went up the second time. The second time around, the group finally stayed quiet. They were officially quiet until after midnight.

Even though I called they still charged me for breakfast even though they say you get $12 a day in spending. I spent less than that everyday. I had checked out and they didn't match up my breakfast as a Hilton Honors member so charged me anyway.I called and they said they would take off but didn't. Stay away from this place.

I am sitting in my room right now as I write this review, this is my 3rd time staying here in less than a month. Food was on the floor in my "cleaned" rooms the first two stays. This time I found someone else's makeup brush. Hilton puts up these signs "we super cleaned your room for COVID," how am I to believe that when you don't even vacuum? I paid extra for rooms that include a "continental breakfast" but when I asked, I was told I don't get one. I was offered some breakfast coupons as a response to my complaint of finding the makeup brush. They don't have a manager on site, one will supposedly call me tomorrow after I am already gone. 0/10 would never recommend

Arrived to a locked hotel. Had to call the front desk to find the dark side door to get checked in.

Surrounding grounds and parking lot are dirty. Lots of construction in parking lot. Would be helpful if non-Tesla chargers were installed. Lobby/floor is nice and clean looking inside. Arrived just passed 3pm and room was not ready. Not a huge deal but slightly inconvenient. Only waited an extra 10 mins. Room was pretty clean. Comfortable beds. Clean hot shower. I was surprised by a little balcony overlooking one of the dividing fountains. Went out for a sit down with some coffee. Noticed that the cleaning of the balconies are missed; at least with mine in particular. Table was dirty with cobwebs connecting to railing with a fairly large spider underneath the table. Worn chairs with cobwebs as well. The balcony floor had leftover fingernail clippings that brought me inside. Dinner at the sports bar/grill was pretty good. Staff seemed a little rushed as there were only 2 on the floor serving food. This was about 6pm. Breakfast was decent as well. Buffet style or you can have omelets made to order. The gym was fairly decent. Clean and had the bare necessities for a workout. Overall a good place to stay minus the outside.

This hotel has been a regular for us! I like it because the beds are comfy and we get a nice view! We also get free breakfast! The staff here is sweet and obviously know my husband since he stays here a lot. There's free parking and the area is nice.

I give this Hilton 5 stars today! Now that COVID restrictions have lifted there are more amenities... pool is open, Starbucks, business center, etc... more staff added for a clean environment and efficiently! My room was clean spacious and tidy... Thank you Hilton for such a relaxing stay. Yay for Hilton Honors... Hilton Honors club is worth it!!!
