Upon greeting me when first arriving, the staff was wonderful! I had asked if my room was facing the mountains, and it was not so I requested a change and it happened without any problems! Also, having breakfast was great! Leanne provided such GREAT customer service! She always welcomed me with a smile and a small chat about the day. Not too long though, she did have other guests to attend. 😉 My overall stay here gas been THE BEST experience I've had! I am happy to recommend this hotel to my family and friends! Thank you for all you do in keeping the right staff on board!

We're going there for a friend's birthday party they rented a specific room with a balcony, the room was nothing like expected. For a room with a balcony everyone just expected a more extravagant room, while helping her decorate we move just a couple of furniture things and underneath was so disgusting, just behind the sofa, barely pushed out you could see that they don't clean behind their sofas or where ever you won't be liking to look. A little disappointing since I was a little girl I always passed this hotel and thought it would just be so amazing to finally go. I finally got to go and it just wasn't what I expected. The elevators really fast and cool though yep.

The hotel looks a bit dated from the outside, but in good shape, very tall palm trees. The lobby is nice, open and quiet. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms themselves are average. Decent bed, good sheets. Could be a bit quieter, you can hear halfway noises a lot, walls are on thinner side and if you are in a pool view room, you will hear the pool noises. The bathroom is a bit cramped, and not laid out all that well. Ours had a vanity that separated from the countertop. There were obvious water damage spots on the ceiling that were “fixed” by the lowest bidder, the toilet was crooked, and you needed to dislocate your shoulder to reach toilet paper on the holder. This hotel is not in the city center, not in a dense urban area, not in a popular spot, but they still have the audacity to charge you $15 (plus tax) to park there per day. I guess this is their way of seemingly having lower room prices, and offering parking as an additional option; you know for those of us that get to a hotel using a bus. When I was booking, I was not aware of that fee, now they include it as an “option” during the reservation. I guess in the future that will charge you to have room keys, use an elevator, and speak to human at check-in. Not worth the 4-star hotel rating

Very nice hotel. Check in was fast and the employee at the desk was really nice. Room was big and comfortable, bed was nice and overall cleanliness is great. Great views of the mountains. The pool was awesome and clean as well. The ONLY bad was the restaurant. We had the Friday special of Cod. It was way over cooked and dry and it was basically the battered and frozen fish you get from Costco. It was WAY over priced as well. The waitstaff seemed very unhappy to be there and the service was mediocre. Excellent place to stay for a day or more but I would plan on eating somewhere else.

We were in Tucson for a family wedding and our family booked just about every room on the 6th floor. The lobby was attractive and the outside. However, our stay was not good at all. The hot water was broken for 2 out of our 3 night stay for the whole 6th floor. We all had cold showers for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding itself. The bathrooms were dated and tired. Fixtures did not work properly including toilet flushing and shower knobs. One of our family members had the knob come off in her hand. Showers showed age and signs of wear and our toilet was not even the standard new height. Our bedding and room reeked of bleach. It never went away for the whole stay. The towels were the same. We were told the hot water had been fixed and it only worked for a few hours after we had all showered in tepid water. The day of the wedding was very stressful for all of us. Some rooms were not even changed over for beds to be made or towels changed out. The family of the bride was extremely upset that family traveling in from the East and West coast had conditions that persisted like this. When I approached the front desk at check out about any compensation, I was told they would give me points for my Amazon account. Hot water is an essential thing when you stay at a hotel. This was not acceptable at all.

My wife and I enjoyed the daily breakfast and comfy bed. Room was ice cold much needed in the desert. Barrie was our server, and she made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Great selection of fruits and pastry along with typical north American favorites. We will be back

The pool/jacuzzi was awesome. My room had a great view. And I went to get breakfast everyday and truly ask for Leanne, she is the best server I’ve ever had!

This hotel is old and it shows. The shower doesn’t really have stains; it’s something that could be cleaned with comet and elbow grease. And why do I have to line the trash can? Why not already lined? If you want ice, you’ll have to go to a convenience store. Our floor’s machine didn’t work. I asked front desk if all floors had one (so I could go to another to get some) and she said, yeah, but they’re not really working. She filled my cup with ice from the coffee nook. I still had to go get more because she didn’t fill it to the top. The bed was lumpy and so soft. It needed to be replaced long ago. The drink cooler didn’t even cool enough to drink my diet soda. The a/c? It doesn’t matter how low you turn it down, it won’t get cool enough. The towels were extremely scratchy, too. I read on other reviews that there was no complimentary continental breakfast and that the hotel breakfast was $26 as if it were the Ritz. We went to Baja Diner and had a great breakfast (Mon-Fri) for $7.50 + $1.75 for coffee.

Yelp
Hotel Review: Hilton Tucson East - 7600 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ Date of Stay: June 29, 2025 UPDATE: I received an email from Mr Sapp, the GM. He apologized for the delay in responding, mentioned that he had been out of town for a conference, and gladly reversed the charge. BEWARE of Unjustified Charges and Poor Communication My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Tucson East for just one night, and what should have been a simple and comfortable overnight visit turned into an ongoing and frustrating ordeal. We checked out at the front desk on the morning of June 30 with no mention of any additional fees. However, several days later, we noticed a pending charge of $560.25 on our account. Initially, we assumed it was a temporary hold and waited to see if it would fall off. Unfortunately, it posted to our account the next day. I contacted Hilton Customer Service and was informed that the charge was due to a smoking fee. This was a complete shock, since neither my husband nor I smoke. I disputed the charge and was transferred directly to the front desk at the Hilton Tucson East. The staff member I spoke with said she would email me further details, which she did. To my surprise, the email referenced the use of a "clean air detector," which allegedly triggered the smoking fee. It also noted that certain non-smoking odors like candles or incense could set off this sensor. That's when it clicked -- I had lit a nice scented candle that night for ambiance, not realizing it could lead to a serious charge. Still traveling, I promptly went through my luggage, took photos of the used candle, and drafted a professional email explaining the situation, including photo evidence. I sent this directly to Chris Sapp, the General Manager, whose contact was listed in the hotel's correspondence. I politely requested that the $560.25 charge be reviewed and removed, as it was clearly a misunderstanding -- not a case of smoking in the room. After five days with no response, I sent a courteous follow-up asking for a status update and confirmation that my message had been received. Unfortunately, the follow-up did not prompt a response. This experience has been extremely disappointing -- not just because of the questionable charge, but due to the lack of accountability and communication from hotel management, which I find very unprofessional. This experience makes me seriously reconsider future stays. Final thoughts: If you're thinking of staying at Hilton Tucson East, beware: simply lighting a candle could result in a $560 fee, and you may receive no response when trying to dispute it. I expected more from a Hilton-branded property.

Yelp
I tried to stay at this place about a month ago, but there was only one desk clerk and a long line. Well, this time it was completely smooth check-in. Reservations highly recommended. The rooms are very spacious and clean. It has ALL the comforts, but oddly, no microwave oven. Rooms are beginning to show their age, but are comfortable. The area around the hotel is very well groomed and a nice pool area. The restaurant is situated in front of the hotel with local viewing. Food is well prepared and make sure you bring a big appetite. The coffee shop is open 24/7 and serves Starbucks products. The hotel is totally cashless, even for tips. Prices were not unreasonable for services and other offerings. One surprise was that the hotel offers no "complimentary" breakfast. That's a pretty common offering these days. All in all, the Hilton is a good place to stay. Just make sure to have a good credit/debit card and leave your cash elsewhere. Best wishes.

Yelp
Hotel in decline. Probably a fine property 40 years ago, but has not been kept up over the years. Restaurant: can only speak to the breakfast situation, as I will not visit for any other meals. Basically what other hotels offer as a free breakfast bar, but here you have to pay. They call it a "buffet" but my free hotel breakfast at the Hampton the night before in Indio was much better. (And that was not great, by any means). Tasteless, hard breakfast potatoes, bland scrambled eggs, offered bacon and sausage, oatmeal was edible...just overall disappointing. They used to have a full menu, but we were told that a cook got sick so they temporarily went this route, but now it is permanent. Just an example of corporate trying to squeeze maximum profit at the expense of customers. Room: needs some updating / remodeling. The mini fridge was completely iced and inoperable. No microwave. A couple of uninspiring mass produced canvases, a chair / ottoman jammed against the wall...underwhelming. I would recommend the nearby Hampton Inn as an option. Still a Hilton property, just more economical and in better condition.

Yelp
Our fourth and final night here as I write, for a church retreat, finds us in our second room; #530. Not the greatest A/C but with a nicer view of the pool and mountains on the 5th floor. Our shampoo dispenser is empty though. But compared to our first second floor room #243; nights one and two, this is a step up. Room 243 had a stopped up sink, no shower gel, and the dealbreaker; mold on the ceiling above the toilet. Night two had me phoning the front desk, twice, and being assured that "someone will be up right away". That was 9:45pm and 11:10. As I was drifting off to sleep, both of us having long since gone to bed. I heard a very timid 3 knocks at our door around 12:30am. Nope! I'll get back to them in the morning. As the service mechanic came by the next morning, this kind gentle individual gave us his sincere apologies, took one look at the molding bathroom ceiling, and stated with disgust; "you all are getting moved out of here to another room immediately!" Music to my ears. This guy is to be commended. He went to get us a luggage cart, and in just a brief moment returned with the cart, our new keys to 530, and assisted in the process of our move. Even making several additional trips back and forth to bring up other items of ours we had overlooked in our haste. And regrettably would you believe it, his name totally slips my mind. But as stated in a separate review, the restaurant Alloro was my favorite part of this hotel. But with the fellowship of some 230 other church attendees from across the country, it was a very nice getaway. And despite all the minuses, Hilton Tucson East is a beautiful property with friendly staff that means well. They just need to do a complete overhaul of their guest rooms ASAP.

Yelp
We had to stay here for several weeks during a home renovation project...there was a lot I liked about the hotel and just a few things I didn't. The lobby was nice and always clean, the glass elevator and large glass windows were kind of a unique feature and fun for the kids. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable - with a nice view of the mountains to the north. The mini-fridge wasn't actually a fridge but a bev-cooler (didn't seem to get cold enough to keep something like cheese cold but was ok for a bottle of water.) Upon request, they brought an actual mini-fridge. Also, no microwaves in the room. The only negatives were that the hot tub area could have been cleaner. The service and food at the restaurant was inconsistent. I'd recommend the hotel but probably wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

Yelp
The room was clean and spacious....the staff was very helpful during my visit. After an early morning hike ... I was able to relax. The overall visit was 5 STARS.

Yelp
Scam Alert - $500 "Smoke Fee" for a Burnt Blow Dryer Smell Absolutely ridiculous. I stayed here for two nights and was hit with a $500 charge for allegedly triggering a smoke detector. The only thing that happened was a burnt smell from a blow dryer--for about 30 minutes. I immediately asked the front desk to come up and smell the room to prove there was no smoking. They refused. I asked multiple times to speak to management, and they completely avoided me. Their only response? "Just dispute it with your bank." So unprofessional. No proof. No inspection. No conversation. Just a charge and a brush-off. Total scam. Avoid this place unless you want surprise charges and zero accountability.

Yelp
It's a pretty hotel, the lobby is nice; the bar staff, front desk, and spacious rooms are nice. Close to several restaurants. SO VERY LOUD! It's like there's no insulation. I hear every conversation. It needs some updating. The doors are old, there is a big gap where I can see the light coming in from the hall, and there is no way to quietly close the door, so anytime someone closes the door, it slams really loud. Also, apparently, the pipes are old, so the sink backed up two or three times, leaving a yucky residue in the sink, so that was kind of gross. Also, one of my pillows had some matter (it looked like drool or snot). I was scared of the hairdryer! It needed a cover on the back; it kept sucking my hair in! Plus the only options were super low speed or high and really, really hot! I think if they did some updates, that would make this hotel a much better option. The beds were comfortable and the heater/ ac worked great, and the room temperature quickly changed to the desired temperature, which I appreciate. The shampoos and conditioners are nice. I forget the fancy stuff I usually bring for my wavy hair, and it worked great.

Yelp
This hotel was cheap (July 3rd-- probably not to many hotel stayers!) and close-ish to where we were headed on Mt. Lemmon the next morning, so we booked it. The hotel was clearly built 30+ years ago. When I asked a staff member, it was confirmed the hotel was built in 1989. It's had some upgrades to revitalize an old and gigantic hotel (which is confusing because it's not near a highway, so hard to get to if you're driving in from out of town). These upgrades were okay... but in some other areas like the bathroom, more upgrades were needed. There was rust on the door frame that was crumbling off, the shower bottom was dirty and the side of the tub was peeling, mold spots on the ceiling (seriously no fan in there?), and it smelled musty and mildewy. I kept the bathroom door closed because we didn't want that creeping into the bedroom. The rest of the place was fine but you could tell by the glass elevator and outside construction it was cool construction for 30ish years ago. Probably on its way to being a Sheraton and demoted as a legit Hilton. Can't imagine they book that many conventions anymore. Maybe past its prime.

Yelp
5/4/2025, hotel is near empty on a Sunday eve., we were promised a free upgrade to a balcony room by 2 front desk attendants today, I called to check on move time, "Espi" informed me she was the Mgr. On Duty and we would not be getting the promised without additional charges, we will stay at another hotel chain in the future!

Yelp
I've stayed at Hilton Tucson East many times over the years, but the property and management have seriously declined. Beds are uncomfortable, showers are tiny, they now charge for parking in a poorly maintained lot, and the pool/fitness center are lackluster. I tolerated all that for the convenient location. On my last stay, the room smelled faintly of cigarettes, then marijuana the next night--never said anything because it wasn't overwhelming. But then I was hit with a $500 smoking fee at checkout. Called multiple times, left messages--no response. Only got help after contacting Hilton Customer Care, but now I have to wait 30 days for a refund check. This was the last straw. I'm done with this property.

everything was very The beds were comfortable. They have a small snack bar and they have Starbucks in the morning." the pool was real nice and . the

Yelp
Alicia at the front desk is amazing!! I stay here often and she always has a smile on her face. Brightens my day every time I check in or out!

Yelp
Pros: Nice people work here and it shows. Parking is ample though it's $15/ night but it's well lit and there's plenty of security. The burger joint Culvers is close if you want to save a buck. Beds and rooms are comfortable. There is a little noise from people talking as they walk by your door. You cannot hear the guest above or below you. Breakfast costs extra and is the usual pastries, eggs, bacon and oatmeal. I came here in early October so I can't say what the rates are at other times. For a cheap bastard like me there is a lot of bang for your buck. Hope this was helpful

Yelp
Terrible Terrible experience!!! we had an emergency and got to the hotel every late. the only reason we booked there was because it was pet friendly hotel but I would not recommend this place to anyone. we took our puppy with us and right when we got there the puppy would walk to the door wanting to leave he was crying all night. in the morning we saw blood on his ear and then we noticed his ear was covered by ticks. we reached out to the manager they said "they would look into it and call us back" but nothing was done and haven't heard from them.

Yelp
I picked this hotel based on location and price. When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice lady at the front desk with a smile. Check in was quick and she went over the amenities of the hotel which I sadly didn't get to use any of them. The bar, restaurant, pool and 24 hour grab and go all sounded nice. The restaurant/bar looked lovely from the elevator. We stayed in a nice king bed room that was spacious and comfortable. The shower was amazing. Typically hotel showers don't have the best water pressure or hot water but this one had both. I would highly suggest this place to stay at.

Barbie K.

Yelp
Very nice staff and pleasant atmosphere. The hot tub was great, the room clean, room service fast and the food at the restaurant was very good.

Yelp
First time at this hotel and many years since I stayed at a Hilton. Check in was easy and good customer service. Room was clean and large with your standard amenities except microwave. Breakfast buffet had plenty of hot entree's and excellent views. Large conference facilities with very good banquet and happy hour menus. Hotel is located on east side of Tucson. Lots of off-site shopping and dining options. Not my routine location, but great choice for conference venue or if you need accomodations in that part of the City.

Yelp
My family and I stayed in this hotel a few weekends ago and we had a rather pleasant experience. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly accommodating us with extra keys and check in. As for the hotel itself, it was very clean and well maintained. The layout of the hotel is very nice, it has a cool glass elevator and everything is very chic. The room was spacious, clean, and the AC worked, which is a must in AZ. The pool was quite a bit smaller than the pictures show but it was still nice and clean. There was a Starbucks cafe in the lobby which was helpful in the mornings. There is a cool looking restaurant and bar but we did not go so no comment. As far as location goes, this hotel is definitely on the East side of Tucson which means there was quite a bit of driving where ever we wanted to go. It is located right on Broadway Blvd which was nice because that is a main drag for Tucson that has pretty much everything you could need. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you're in need of a reliable place to stay while visiting Tucson.

Bri E.

Yelp
also post on trip advisor I had a terrible experience with this hotel while trying to plan a large event with hundreds of out-of-town guests. When I first visited on Monday to inquire, it took 20 minutes for anyone to assist me. Eventually, Gisela Ramirez (who I assume is the event coordinator) arrived. While I understood that the ballroom and rooms were occupied that day, she scheduled an appointment for me to return on Thursday, February 27th, at 2:30 PM. I took my son out of school to see the venue, as it was his party. I arrived early, but as the appointment time approached, the front desk had no idea where Gisela was. She finally showed up seven minutes late, texting on her phone, and without any acknowledgment or apology, she told us she'd be with us soon. We then waited another eight minutes--she was now 15 minutes late. When she finally spoke to us, she immediately said we couldn't see the ballroom because there was a group inside. I asked why she scheduled the appointment if we wouldn't be able to view it, and she rudely replied that she "didn't know" they'd be using it. How is that possible when this is her job? At that point, we decided to leave, and her only response was, "OK, bye." This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We were ready to spend thousands of dollars on this event and hotel rooms, yet we were treated like an inconvenience. Gisela wasted my time and was completely unprofessional. I would strongly advise against booking any event or stay at this hotel. Avoid at all costs!

Catfish M.

Yelp
BAD experience, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! ( NO MICROWAVE!! Fridge not working good ). Only one working elevator due to this, wait time at each floor was almost ONE HOUR. Multiple stops at each floor because of this I was late to a very important meeting, 7 floors, lots of people and ONE elevator. I've heard it's not the first time it's been like this. Just because the hotel DOESN'T want to PAY TO FIX THE ELEVATOR. NOT ENOUGH CARTS. An hotel employee told me that they had four carts and he only saw one and it got taken right away!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND ITS EXPENSIVE AND THEY CANT FIX ANYTHING.

Robert H.

Yelp
Very disappointing. The rooms are updated need to be Remodel. When I? Was taking a shower in the morning. There were a lot of cockroaches in the shower and the sink never again. How disgusting.

Yelp
Attending a conference here this morning. My friend ordered a gluten free meal and we were done eating with plates cleared before her lukewarm food arrived. Her dinner ticket clearly labeled she was allergic to zucchini and squash. Both were on her plate. This morning brunch was served nearly half an hour late. The club croissant was Great! Dessert definitely suffered from Shrinkflation!!!

Yelp
We had a very nice stay here. Everyone at the front desk was super nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean when we arrived. We specifically asked for service each day, but there were two days out of the five we were there that housekeeping never showed up. The breakfast buffet is decent. The scrambled eggs were hit or miss; although, to be honest, it is difficult to keep scrambled eggs tasty in a chafing dish. The waffles and pancakes were overdone, but the pastries were quite good, as were the sausage links. There two people tending the buffet, and I think they needed three. Tables were left unbussed for a long time and getting your beverage -- even just water -- took longer than it should have. The bartenders in the evening were very pleasant, especially Jason. We only tried the truffle fries off the dinner menu, but they were good -- and I don't really care for truffles. I did not use the pool or hot tub, but my husband did and he really enjoyed them. I was happy to stay here and will likely do so again in the future.

Yelp
Very comfortable room, beautiful views, and they allowed us to check in early to get ready to go to a wedding. Very considerate staff.

Yelp
Spacious, clean and loving it! Moderately priced with several options for food on property. I'm sure I will be back.

Yelp
Our family had a business trip in downtown. We had to switch from Motel Double Tree on S. ALVERNON WAY. to Hilton Tucson East which was my best decision to save our family from sketchy activities and headache from that motel. We booked the room with Hilton Honors Discount. Needed to say that the room rate here was as the same as the Double Tree By Hilton on S. Alvernon Way. But you can "Thank me later" if you stay here instead of that Motel Meth Haven. We checked in at 4 pm. Bianey, the front desk lady, She is polite and always smile. She also texted to follow up with us after 10 mins walking into the room. The room is very nicely cleaned, it also has a coffee machine, glass door refrigerator, big flat screen TV and safe box which my almost 2 years old son accidentally messed with the lock code, we had to call someone to override the code, but It took only 5 mins for a maintenance staff to show up at our room. Restroom has plenty of towels, shower cap, big bottles of soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Later, we asked for more towels and it took less than 10 mins to be delivered. Hotel has a big restaurant/bar if you don't want to go out, you can enjoy your foods and drinks at this beautiful bar/restaurant. Parking is bright and it looks safe, they're always have security and front desk 24/7. Housekeeping services are great. If you don't want to have them clean your room in the morning, they can come back later (as long as you call to request before 4 pm). Big swimming pool, although we hadn't use it but we definitely be back. We later extended our stays for 1 more night before heading back to California. Yes, I recommend this hotel.

Yelp
I live across the wash from this Hotel and today they were playing music so loud I could hear it in my apartment. Not good. I don't care if it was a wedding or a special event, the music should never be so loud I can hear it in my private space. I've lived in this apartment for over two years and haven't had an issue with the Hilton until now. If this becomes a normal thing you can be sure Tucson Police will pay you a visit.
google avatar

Vickie J.

Yelp
I've stayed here several times in the past and there are a lot of changes I don't like. I don't like that they are charging for parking. The food menu had changed and is very limited. Breakfast used to be free, and now it's $20 plus tax for the same free buffet they offered in the past. The hotel is still clean and well maintained. Great location. They now offer shuttle.
google avatar

Rhiannon K.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location itself isn't great but there's a little shopping center that's only a 10-15 minute walk away. I was able to buy some groceries there to bring back for breakfast. The outside entrance has some nice flowers and the inside is designed well also. It has a nice open concept with a see-thru elevator inside. The lobby and bar area are both really nice. My room was nothing special but it was clean and spacious so I didn't need much more. The pool area is really nice and I enjoyed sitting there for a while. I like the layout and the foliage around. That made my like this hotel even more!

Yelp
We finally made it in for the Prime Rib Friday special. My hubz enjoyed that very much! 10oz of prime rib is a lot of meat..lol. Yummy mashed taters and delicious roasted veggies on the side. (Yes, he shared.) However, I got the Cacio de Pepe and would seriously NOT recommend it. Not made correctly, at all. And $20 for a plate of pasta with no sides, not made correctly, leaves one wondering what the chef was thinking. We had the coconut cannoli for dessert. Wouldn't do that again, but mostly for personal reasons..toooo sweet. But if you like sweet, go for it, as the shells were deliciously crunchy. And the best part, ha ha, was the Negroni. Whew! If I'd had 2, I would've had to be carted out in a wheelbarrow. The area we sat in was a little odd. The view of the Catalina's was breathtaking, but you could hear allll of the conversations from the surrounding tables, as it's a pretty small area with quite a few tables. Overall, we'll go back, if only for the Negroni (for me) and the slab of meat (for him!)

Yelp
Our go to hotel in Tucson. Never let down. Clean rooms. Excellent staff. Great views of the Catalina Mountains. We've been to the hotel at least 5 times.

Yelp
They have a smoke detector that detects everything. So if someone is vaping in the hall and the smoke stays on you it goes with you as your walking in your room the detector will detect it. Hilton charged $312 to my credit card for smoking in the room. I'm an RN and facility I work for fires you for nicotine use. I don't smoke. Wtf

Room was not turned over prior to our stay. Shower was dirty upon arrival. On top of those we found multiple cockroaches in our shower during our stay. The hotel only apologized and said there was nothing they could do. Would recommend a motel 6 over this hotel 0/10. HORRIBLE!!!

Yelp
Their tier memberships is just a hoax, I've been with them for several years now and lately they treat you by slamming a fish in your face. My experience starts when I arrive at the property last night July 2nd at 9:30pm PT and had booked through a third party agency which was more than 40 dollars less (how absurd as they keep much higher prices on their Hilton.com website). However the clerk at that time said I had no benefits included, because of purchasing through a different party. No upgrade, no breakfast, no kidness (included). How rude. You are basically paying for your little perks at the end of the day, being a Diamond member is just a delusion. I will try to use all my points left and ditch Hilton, they are rude and have no appreciation for your business. I will discourage my co-workers to stay in Hilton properties and follow through social media. Go where they value you as a human not as "walking currency". Very Disappointed.

Yelp
biggest surprise was the $10 charge per night parking, even though there were dozens of empty spaces. when driving thru town and staying here, where else can you park? some nearby burger place? ridiculous and poor business decision to start charging your patrons for parking. room had blood stains on the headboard (my wife showed a picture to the young lady at desk upon checkout). a/c was extremely loud---had to turn it off to get to sleep. Hilton has some great hotels----this isn't one of them.

Yelp
Booked a room last minute via the Hilton Honors app. Check in was awesome. The staff at the front desk were helpful and attentive. The hotel itself is very clean and it appears to be freshly remodeled. The room we has was on the 5th floor and it had a great view. I will stay at this hotel when I find myself in East Tucson.

Yelp
I usually have great stay experiences at Hilton Hotels, however this particular property was a problem. My stay was scheduled for two nights, however I checked out after one night due to a very uncomfortable bed that was way too soft and uneven. The bed gave me a back ache the next morning. The lounge sofa in the room was uncomfortable and not a practical piece of furniture. These should be replaced with a standard love seat sofa which provides a comfortable and back supporting seat to watch TV or read. The shower space is incredibly small to move around in. Kind of ridiculous. Finally, charging $10 for parking in a lot that is totally open with no secure entrances, guard posts, or any live security protection is a rip off. Not what I expect for a Hilton Hotel.

Yelp
I travel for a living and i do have memberships in all hotel brands. Im usually more of a Hyatt and a Marriott girl. Third favorite of mine is the Hilton Brand. It was my first time at this property and I really liked the drive from the airport to the hotel. The hotel has a shuttle and the drive was a scenic 25 minute ride. The drivers are very knowledgeable on the area and things to do around. The hotel building is quite modern for the most part. There is a big glass window at the entrance and atrium styled interior. Two elevators are seen right away when you enter. It was an easy check in process. Front desk is happy and helpful. Behind the front desk is a market where you can buy snacks. I loved my room so much!!! Such a modern vibe and overlooking the mountains. Super comfortable pillows and bed; spacious area; modern bathroom. I went to the gym. It wasnt really soacious. One elliptical, three treadmills and one bike. Weights and water area as well. Towels are provided but was quite hard to do stretches due to the size. Pool is amazing and right across the gym. I had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious - ordered salmon with charred broccolini, asparagus and mashed potatoes with white wine! I had a good nights rest at this hotel and will be back!! Tons of places to do around as well! I definitely recommend!

Yelp
Dining there on prime rib night was a struggle for them. Lots of issues. Food was good. Service was chaotic.

Yelp
Great location, clean and modern facilities but really just want to give a shout out to Bradley, I think it's Bradley dark haired young guy facial hair working afternoon of 3/10) for all his help loading some items into the Uber, helping Uber guy figure out where to pick up and taking care of the cart and also for the guy manning it in the morning for his assistance but unfortunately didn't get his name. Great employees!

Yelp
Stayed here for 3 nights with a wedding party. $109 per night. Great rate. Service was outstanding all around. From the front desk, to the bar/restaurant, to housekeeping, way to go staff. Kudos to you. Rooms and beds were comfy. A/C worked awesome. Grounds including entrance and pool area were clean. Pool and spa were relaxing. I like that they have Dragoon IPA on tap. Outstanding beer. Location was perfect to the wedding venue. Just a few miles away. Stay was pleasant and comfortable. No complaints. I would stay here again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
I had high hopes for my stay at the Hilton Tucson East last weekend. I was even given an upgrade to a Terrace Suite based on my loyalty status. I have stayed there a couple of times before with no issue except sub-par service in the restaurant during breakfast, but since the breakfast was complimentary I did not complain. However this stay hit the pinnacle of one of my worst fears. There was a rat in my room, I discovered on the second night of my stay as it scurried across the floor from the bedroom to the cabinet with the refrigerator. I ran out of the room to the bedroom and called the desk. While waiting on hold my friend came out again and moved between the cabinet and the trash can. I shot video of it while I was on hold. Long story short they sent up an engineer who also saw the rat poke out behind the cabinet He called the desk and asked them to notify the contractor exterminator and that he would go get me a new room on the other side of the hotel. He left for the keys and a cart while I kept watch for the rat. I packed and moved and the desk called me and said they would be putting "a bunch" of loyalty points on my account and apologized for the inconvenience. I was inconvenienced but more I was repulsed knowing I spent the night in a suite with a rat on the top floor of the Hilton Tucson East. To be completely honest I an writing this because I waited three days and the hotel had not fulfilled their promise of points. So I called the loyalty desk at Hilton Honors, they said they would intervene with the hotel. So in the end I received enough points for half a nights stay, maybe the half of nights sleep I lost wondering if there was rat in my new room. In the not so great attached picture it is the dark spot against the wall between cabinets and garbage can.

Yelp
Room was great - comfortable bed and enough room so you don't feel like you're in a prison cell. Very clean bathroom with the complimentary toiletries in the large, refillable containers. Also had a coffee maker, fridge, and room safe. The only caveat is that it's quite aways from the interstate 10 entrance.

Yelp
Hotel is nice and rooms are clean HOWEVER safety is my concern. There is a known homeless problem next to the hotel and for some inexplicable reason they turn off their parking lot lights in the morning while it's still dark out. So you come out to a darkened parking lot. Wouldn't want my wife or kids staying here. No weapons allowed sign on the front door but I'd bring a gun if I were you so you can walk out to your car without fear. Wish I had one with me to protect myself because the hotel seems more concerned with saving a few dollars per month on electricity savings than on my safety and my life. I've complained but they said it's on a timer so they are unwilling to change the timer either. Can't understand this from a big corporation.

Yelp
Stayed here for a business trip (4 weeks). I highly recommend. As a female traveling alone and coming in late each night I was comforted by the well lit parking lot, front parking and active lobby. The lobby always hosted an attendant and the elevators are in the center of the lobby enclosed with clear glass. My rate included a full breakfast that conveniently was available till 10am. The staff was always helpful and inviting. Complimentary laundry as well. These items seem small, but after staying at the Courtyard Marriott just down the road where EVERYTHING IS AL A CARTE, I welcome a few freebies. Service being one of them.

Yelp
Very beautiful hotel. The staff was exceedingly nice, attentive, and outgoing. The room was huge, with soft, comfortable beds, and chase lounge. Will definitely come back

Yelp
I totally wish I could leave a 0 star review due to the uncaring and unprofessional actions of Philip the manager. Do not stay here and think you'll get the full extent of your stay or any sort of refunding without being removed from your room . Being charged 5,000 dollars to stay and fighting daily to get a refund fixed due to being charged multiple times just to be told you are going to be removed once the bank verify the funds never returned and speak openly that this is something highly problematic on their behalf , absolutely do not come here there are far better hotels with better staffing in north side Tucson then this EDIT!! They are still charging the card after forcing us to leave due to not liking the statements said and now have a standing balanced attempt of 10k Do not stay here ever
