Hilton Vacation Club Cedar Breaks Brian Head

Just got back from a weekend stay and loved it. Check-in was smooth and the front desk staff were genuinely friendly and helpful from the first minute. The room was spotless—clean bathroom, fresh linens, no weird smells, and everything worked the way it should. After a long drive up the mountain, it was a relief to walk into a place that felt organized, quiet, and well-kept. The amenities were a big highlight: the pool/hot tub area was clean, warm, and perfect for unwinding, and the common areas felt cared for without being stuffy. Location is awesome—right in Brian Head with quick access to town and the resort, plus great mountain air and views. Parking is convenient (the garage is a little tight if you’re in a bigger vehicle, but totally manageable). Overall this was a comfortable, low-stress stay and exactly what we needed for a reset weekend. Would happily come back.

Loved everything about our stay here! Walking distance to the slopes and Apple Annie’s - if you need general store items. Also the staff was so kind and helpful! Huge perk was the heated pool, 2 jacuzzi’s, steam room and sauna. Our family loved going there after a day in the snow. We are definitely coming back next year! This place is a little bit old but we love having a full kitchen to cook (we booked 2 rooms suite). While they have no daily room turnovers, they do follow up to see if you need towels, trash pick up, etc. We originally booked 5 nights but checked out early due to the coming snowstorm, and the manager was kind enough to give us a refund for one night which we truly appreciate. Overall I recommend this hotel and will be coming back.

We loved this hotel stay! It was super reasonable, the front desk staff were friendly, and the rooms were very neat and clean. Plus the bathroom had a HUGE tub and we enjoyed a lovely hot bath as the weather was starting to get colder. Only downside is our hotel building was detached from the lobby, and you have to take stairs up, so if you are arriving in rain/snow or have lots of luggage to carry, it can be a little annoying. That being said, we would come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Vacation Club in Brian Head. Our 2-bedroom room was very spacious and comfortable, and the full kitchen was extremely useful for cooking meals. The kids loved the heated pool and the library/game room. The self-service laundry with washers and dryers came in handy, and the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The underground parking was a real treat.

The room was really hot because they do not have air conditioning. There was no way to cool it, which made it really uncomfortable fore sleeping. Also, the shower was really difficult to use unless someone demonstrates how to use it, which I didn't get when I cheeked in. Otherwise, it was a large room and had all the kitchen amenities one would expect in these hotels. I don't think I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Breaks Lodge. The resort is ideal for family traveling we stayed at a 2bedroom suite and it is spacious with full kitchen. The unit is clean and looks like it's newly renovated. Staff are amazing we got to the resort early and the room was ready. This place is close to the ski area so plan on coming back during winter.

I stayed at this property on a leisure trip with my family and would not choose it again. In hindsight, our experience matches other recent reviews for this location. On arrival, the corridors were dim with a bad smell. This should have been the first indicator of a poorly maintained building rather than a family-friendly hotel. In our suite, the primary issue was temperature control. The thermostat did not respond to adjustments and the room remained around 80°F throughout the night. When I raised this with the front desk, the recommended solution was to “open the window.” With outdoor temperatures around 15°F, that meant the person sleeping near the window would be freezing while the rest of the suite remained uncomfortably warm. This is not an acceptable substitute for functioning HVAC in a hotel. The room and bathroom also showed clear signs of deferred maintenance: * The overall appearance of the room was dingy and worn. * The bathtub is stained and does not appear clean even immediately after housekeeping. * The shower head delivers very narrow, high-pressure streams, which are uncomfortable and not suitable for children. * The bathroom door lock does not engage reliably. I requested a room change due to the inoperative climate control and condition issues, but the hotel did not accommodate the request. The worst part of the stay was that management was not willing or able to meaningfully address these concerns. Their response was to offer us a few thousand hhonors points (which is like a ~$25 gift card) For a family trip, I look for basic comfort, cleanliness, and reliable facilities. This property did not meet those expectations, and I would not recommend it for business or leisure travel. Unsurprisingly, poor attention to the facilities matches the poor attention to guest experience. I also learned that the Hilton brand does not take responsibility for Vacation Club properties, so all resolutions come back to the hotel management which are not taking care of their property of guests.

We had a good stay here this past weekend. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained. They have a restaurant and a small cafe with different beverages and a few breakfast items to choose from. We didn't dinner at their restaurant since it was a bit pricey but did stop by their cafe though every morning to get coffee and either a breakfast croissant sandwich or breakfast burrito before we started our day. They don't have any packets of condiments like ketchup or hot sauce so I'll be sure to remember to pack a few condiments the next time we stay here. They also have an indoor pool but I can't comment on that since we didn't try it out during our stay. Parking is free and underground, which is nice because you don't have to worry about having snow or ice on your car. They also have free WiFi which we had no issues connecting to it. We booked a one bedroom suite with two queen beds. We found our room to be clean and tidy. It was so spacious for our family of three. It had a full kitchen with a sink, microwave, oven, and refrigerator. Our room also had a living room with a tv, couch, desk, table, and a nice fireplace. The bathroom was nice except the tub was a bit too high so we had to be careful getting in and out of the tub especially with our toddler. The bedroom was huge with two queen beds and a fireplace. We were told at check-in that there's no daily room cleaning. If we wanted to take our trash out, we were told to simply just leave it outside our room. The only downfall about our room was that the walls are really thin. We could hear our neighbors from above and next to us. We've stayed at the neighboring Brian Head lodge in the past and we agreed that we prefer this hotel. We'll be back again. I recommend this hotel!

I was at this place 6 years ago but I think it was under Diamond Resort timeshare and back then I didn't do Yelp so I didn't make review. This time we were staying in another building not the main building, they have building 2 and 3 which is physically not connected with main building. People on the front desk are super nice. But upon entering to the underground garage which only has between 20-25 parking spots in figure i want be able to find parking every night which actually happened so I have to park my car outside. Not a big deal but when temperaturu goes to 4 Fahrenheit then it is an issue. The hallway in second building stinks. But it's not like people are making food so it stinks, it stinks like old carpet-wood smell can't even explain that weird smell. Room was nice and clean. Only the heater was super noisy. Fire place was super cool but every times when it turns on it produce noise which is annoying during the day. Our body wash dispenser was completely empty but they refill as soon as a callled. Also one night I went for a walk and it was bad since their outside lights were so poor, you can barely see where you step. Pool was ok, but maybe little too cold. Water was fine temperature but outside of the water was freezing. They should have someone working on pool since kids were jumping on the pool, everything around the pool was super wet. Jacuzzi was over occupied like literally 25 people were there at one point.

My hotel room was very clean. I've worked in housekeeping and was impressed with the cleanliness. The pool area was nice and had 2 jacuzzi's. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside no complimentary breakfast. Most hotels have something to free to eat for their guests however, my suite did come with a stove, plates, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher.

The lodge is great! The employees were nice, game room well stocked. Air hockey table not too reliable but what can you expect? Shower/bath cools down without warning. So either wash early or late, or be quick about it. Overall, ok place.
