15 Best Golf Resorts in Florida

"A family-friendly resort roughly five miles from Walt Disney World that pairs a 72-par Gary Koch–designed course—split into a marshy, wetlands back nine and a front nine with a British Isles–links feel—with one- to three-bedroom suites and four pools, including a lagoon-style pool evocative of theme-park properties; the hotel also runs a shuttle for easy access to the theme parks." - Patricia Doherty Patricia Doherty Patricia Doherty is a writer who specializes in covering destinations, resorts, and cruises for Travel + Leisure and other publications. The hotel is beautiful. My family and I had 3 rooms, and we were lucky to stay in the newly renovated apartments. The service at the front desk from the moment we arrived was SPECTACULAR. Mariano helped us and we are very grateful for all his assistance. Later at the restaurant, Ashley and Frank took care of us. Frank’s service was truly 5 stars – he attended to our table perfectly (we were a party of 17 people). Once again, thank you for the excellent hospitality. Without a doubt, we will be staying here again.

First I will say that during my stay half of the place was a ghost town. Entire buildings sit completely empty and we were the only ones at breakfast. The rooms are nice, but the greasy timeshare sales staff made the check-in process last a minimum of 30-45 minutes. The main pool was nice but overcrowded and had no lifeguard. Overall we had a great time and got a great deal.

Great place to stay. Staff very attentive, check in process quick and easy, room service prompt. Rooms clean and smell great. Shower has lots of pressure. Not to mention a large beautiful pool and a great view

A very strict atmosphere for a mediocre pool. When we arrived and brought everything to our room, we turned the TV on for our kids (both under 5), to give them something to do while we unpacked. Well, the person who used the room before us decided they wanted to watch PORN on the living room TV, so that was fun trying to explain it away to the kids. We then get everything ready to head down to the pool only to be told to turn around because we have a cooler backpack. The cooler was full of water and juice, lunch and a couple of snacks for the kids. Can't bring it in, though they have no problem selling you the same items at the pool bar. Then there are the lifeguards. Oh boy. I fully believe these lifeguards breathe through their whistles, and can't survive more than 2 minutes without blowing it. "We keep our VERY mediocre pools safe by not letting our guests do anything!", is the banner the lifeguards have up in their break room. Some of the lifeguards even agreed that some of the policies were ridiculous. The "resort" does have putt putt, fishing, bike riding and paddle boating, but some of the things to do cost money and EVERYTHING requires you to sign a waiver. The paddle boat and even the biking make sense, but putt putt? Come on. For how much they police this place, you would think it's some lavish palace in Dubai, not some mediocre property worse than my community clubhouse and pool. You want to have fun? Go somewhere else.

Absolutely love this resort and will come back! Me and my wife used a banked week of my family’s timeshare with Hilton for our honeymoon this week at Disney. I don’t regret choosing this resort at all for our honeymoon. The amenities are great and clean, activities throughout the week, every employee is super nice, all the pools are open 8-8 except the Dunes pool, which is the best, is open 8-10. We didn’t use the theme park shuttle as Disney is literally around the corner. Being off property you can’t get much closer to Disney. It is a very safe resort with security at both entrances and very quiet. We had a lot of fun and sad that the week ended.

Amazing Hotel!!!! We had such a good time here! The place has been renovated and everything is beautiful! The room are spacious and nice! The bathrooms are really nice and has that modern look and feel. There’s a full size kitchen that comes equipped with your every need! There’s a washer and dryer that was so convenient since we were there for sport events. They had a daily schedule with activities for kids etc. The resort had a bunch of things to do. Honestly you can’t go wrong here! And everyone was so friendly and helpful!! I’ll attached pictures but please excuse the mess. I took the pics after we got settled in after 2 days.

I tell everything Like it is

Google
Lovely place to stay at when you’re on a vacation. They made us feel very welcomed and they communicated through text which was faster than calling the front desk. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Very quiet can’t hear any noises from the other rooms. There was plenty of towels so we didn’t need extra towels. Beds and pillows was comfortable. The scenery was beautiful. We’ll definitely be back. My kiddos loved the activities and also seeing a turtle and snake go for a swim in the pond. My family enjoyed the pool as well making friends with other people. I very well recommend Mystic Dunes to everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
Loved it!!! Staff were friendly and professional. Explained everything as needed. The service to the room of anything needed was quickly brought to us. The pools were perfect, clean and up to date. The views were relaxing. Very peaceful. No chaos from the busy Orlando areas. Love that there’s security at both entrances, so it’s very safe as only residents can enter. I would stay here time and time again! I’d say maybe add a small convenience store or vending machines incase something is needed. Other than that PERFECT!!!!!

Yelp
This was our first time, and we have only one complaint: no door to the toilet in the main bathroom. Other than that small, lack of privacy concern, this was a five star stay. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so for privacy, we used the toilet in the second bathroom. We liked the two sinks in the main bathroom, as well as the walk in shower. We did not use the large tub. The king size bed was very comfortable, and we had good nights' sleep during our stay. We used the flat screen TVs in the living room/dining area as well as the main bedroom. No problem with sound, color, or screen size. Perfect picture. We didn't use the set in the second bedroom. The unit comes with a fully functional kitchen (everything you need to cook and clean up), and washer/dryer combo, with detergent. But we didn't need these amenities. We don't golf, so we can't talk about the course. We did see gentleman playing outside our screened in patio. The pools looked great, but we were in the area for the theme parks. We didn't get the opportunity to use any of the pools. This resort is close to Epcot and Animal Kingdom, with easy access to the main roads. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were checked in quickly, and received valuable communications via text. We checked out via text. We have no complaints about the superlative service & communication.

Yelp
Extremely Disappointed - Will Never Stay at Mystic Dunes or Any Hilton-Owned Property Again. I had a truly disappointing experience at Mystic Dunes and would absolutely never consider staying at this resort--or any Hilton-owned property--again, let alone invest in a timeshare with them. I booked and paid in advance for a 4-night stay in a two-bedroom unit, as advertised in the property's promotional photos. Upon arrival, everything seemed fine--until later that evening, when we discovered the air conditioning was completely non-functional. It was 98 degrees outside. I called the front desk, hoping for a prompt resolution. Instead, the concierge seemed far more focused on pushing a timeshare pitch than actually addressing the fact that our unit was uninhabitable in the sweltering heat! Eventually, we were moved--but the unit we were placed in was nowhere near the quality or standard of what we had paid for. It was outdated, dark, and clearly hadn't been renovated in decades. When I voiced my concerns, a front desk agent named Renee, who was rude and dismissive, told me there were no comparable units available because of "weekend reservations." This was on a Wednesday--hardly the weekend. She even stated she wasn't going to let us "room hop," as if we were the ones being unreasonable. The next day, I spoke to a manager named Brian, told me they would refund us for one night as compensation (Oh joy!). While I appreciated the gesture in theory, the follow-through was nonexistent. He claimed he would email me confirmation of the refund, but that never happened. Now, the third-party booking platform is being given the runaround, and the refund is still unresolved. In summary: terrible customer service, broken amenities, misleading advertising, and no accountability. Take it from my experience--do not waste your time or money. Hilton has lost my trust completely.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of staying here for my his daughters birthday and it was nice. We live in central Florida so this was a staycation for us. The resort is located near disney on old lake Wilson rd but conveniently located to everything ! Restaurants, gas stations, ice cream parlors , old town, Disney, the interstate etc. It's gated so I did like that they ensured safety around the resort as there was pool attendants, bar tenders and security visible at all times. The villa was nice and roomy with a balcony. I would recommend this for a staycation or families visiting central Florida.

Yelp
The rooms are SO outdated and the floors were disgusting. We had the power off in our room for hours and had food spoil. We also went to the presentation to get discounted park tickets (which we have done multiple times before at other resorts) and the salesmen there were SO pushy and kind of slimy in their approach. The golf course was nice. The pools were fine. It was about 30 minutes from the parks. We will definitely not be staying there again.

Yelp
For what we paid this is a fantastic place to stay close to Disney World. It's like 10 minutes with traffic. I love that you have a whole large apartment with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. The units have patios or balconies ( we had a patio on the first floor). Checking was a breeze and we were able to snag our 3 units before 10am even though checking was at 4. The property is large with golf course and pools and gym and a nice large restaurant and bar. It's like a small city. And everything is beautiful. This is truly a gem especially when you have littles to put in their own bedroom. Everything and everyone was super nice. I really love this place. We paid less than 100 per day. How can you beat that in 2025?

Yelp
Good value for a midweek stay in January. Got a great deal on Booking.com for an extra night in Orlando when a conference was cut short. The one bedroom timeshare style units are comfortable, but a bit dated. Arrived close to 11 PM and left before 10 AM the next day so did not use any of the amenities (despite being charged a daily $30 resort fee). Parking is free/included in the resort fee. Easy access off the highway near the theme parks. Easy to get to Kennedy Space Center or Tampa to meet friends for dinner. Would have liked to have been able to use the property amenities, but for the price, it was a really good value.

Yelp
This golf resort's pretty sweet! Let's go over it from start to finish. Check-in's in the main clubhouse. The desk was fast and friendly, but they forgot our welcome bag. The concierge was super chatty, but a bit forgetful. A welcome folder or bag with info would be great. Parking's free for members. Our room was a corner suite, even had a doorbell! Haha! The main suite had a large balcony, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, and dining area. The next door suite had a juliett balcony, one bedroom, a full bathroom, kitchen, cafe area, and living room. The beds were comfy, and housekeeping was awesome - they came by a lot. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans, cutting boards, glasses, mugs, plates, and a pitcher. It is a very quite resort. Mainly for older groups and family. Not ideal for young families with toddlers and infants. You can view the pond and golf resorts. You'll wake up to see golfers early golfing. It has a jogging trail and a large lake front of the resort. Nice view when on the trail. I do enjoy the peace here but it wouldn't be my first choice. It lacks activities, variety of amenities and a lot of driving involved. I gave it a 4 because housekeeping really is on top of their game.

Yelp
We loved our stay! The resort is very large and spread out which we honestly liked. There were three separate pools that we were aware of, the activity center with sports courts, the golf club, and restaurant, and so much more! We ordered drinks at the pool bar and they were delicious! In my opinion, they were a fairly fair price as well. The pool is so much fun! There is a waterslide for people to go on, a waterfall feature for additional fun, the pools are an amazing temperature and there's lots of seating around the pool. The rooms were nice and had everything you needed in the kitchen. A toaster, a blender, pots, and pans, utensils, and more. A full size fridge, oven, and microwave are nice as well if you have leftovers from eating out. We also ordered food from the restaurant on site, and it was much better than we had anticipated! The rooms were open and spacious and felt like a nice small apartment. It really made you feel like you were at home! I did film a YouTube video giving a tour of the resort, so that's why most of my items attached are videos!

Yelp
What a great location-close to all the big parks with shuttle service available! Within Mystic Dunes there are so many activities- 3pools, all are perfect for kids, no deep area, gentle steps to enter. Water slides with twists and turns $ and many many lounge chairs and towels. Bar serves drinks and snacks. Life Guards on duty at slides. Pretty big space. On the property there are activities available and a craft room, shuffle board, walking paths and a huge golf course. Very green, clean, pleasant. The rooms are lovely and beds are great. Loved waking up with coffee and sitting on the screened-in patio. No bugs to bother us! Reception area is full of helpful and friendly people. They have a map- you'll need it - this is a huge place. HGV sponsored an event at Hard Rock and bussed us over - that was fantastic! A thank you for owners. We had a great time, There was lots of maintenance going on but that's what keeps it so clean and pleasant. We came right after the hurricane in Tampa, there was only a small amount of wind damage here- thank goodness!

Yelp
Resort was nice and clean. Some minor disrepair that needs to be fixed on building 24 such as: -broken dangling exit light on 2nd floor -peeling paint on screened porch and exterior walkways -something was wrong with the TV, it kept turning itself on (I don't know how many times we had to turn it off) Other than that, people were nice, resort was well manicured, pool was great, housekeeping was good, parking was adequate. Wish they had a hot tub!

Yelp
This hotel had some hits and misses. Upon arrival, there was a line of 10 different parties waiting to check in with only two front desk workers. We waited probably 20 minutes to get the front to pick up our room keys. I went with a group of five people so we ended up with two separate suites that were connected by a main entryway, allowing easy access. My suite to myself was great, with a full kitchen, living room, and a big, comfortable separate bedroom. I liked how, geographically, the Hilton Vacation Club Mystic Dunes sat off to itself and wasn't surrounded by other hotels within eyesight, like many hotels and resorts in the Orlando area. This made it more quiet and secluded. That being said, Mystic Dunes is close to Disney (about 6 miles) but quite a distance from Universal Studios and downtown Orlando, both places we were planning to go (truth be told: I didn't book this hotel). So keep that in mind when booking. Overall, despite some hits and misses, I enjoyed my stay at Hilton Vacation Club Mystic Dunes and would consider booking again.

Yelp
BEDBUGS!! Would not recommend. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, the front room had trouble cooling down and didn't have a ceiling fan to help circulate the air. On our last night our son expressed that he didn't want to sleep in a hot room so he slept on the pull out couch. The next morning he woke up to BEDBUG bites all over his face! We called the hotel and let them know our concerns and they asked us to text them photos of our son with the bites on him, so we did and the response was "oh no, so sorry." We were told a manager would be reaching out to us and that has yet to happen.

Yelp
Enjoyed a brief stay at this fantastic resort, and the staff went out of their way to make me and my si s feel welcome.. Great pools, excellent service, I would reccommend

Yelp
Came here for the time share deal. Great room size and good amenities. Plenty of pools to choose from. The one with slide was only for kids 48" tall which my kid was bummed she wasn't tall enough. So would have liked a slide option for the little ones. But they had fun regardless at the other pools. If all the rooms looked like the model they showed us, it would have been a fantastic stay. But our room had more budget decorations and appliances. If you can say no to a sales pitch this was a good deal and I will continue to do so.

Yelp
To be clear, EVERY critical review of Mystic Dunes GC prior to Spring 2023 is warranted and earned! With the substantial investment into Mystic Dunes by Hilton since the Summer of 2023, this gorgeous golf tract has been nothing short of remarkable. Conditions are good and getting better by the day with a trend of soon to be "Best In Class" for Central FL. Now managed by Troon Golf, Mystic Dunes GC should be on your short list of resort golf courses to play in Central Florida!

Yelp
My family and I visited Disney World during mid February. Our hotel this time was the Hilton Vacation Club Mystic Dunes Orlando from Wednesday through Sunday. Our flight arrived a little late and we didn't get to check in until around 2:00 A.M. The drive was pretty easy to this hotel and check-in process was a breeze. Our original room that we had booked wasn't available so the Hilton team provided a new one to us. The Hilton Vacation Club Mystic Dunes is located in the Kissimmee area, next to several popular theme parks. The resort opened up in 2001. There are several accommodations available at the resort including studios, one-bedroom suites, two-bedroom suites, and three-bedroom suites. All of the units feature fully-equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, a private balcony or patio and separate living and dining areas. Some of the larger units also have a in-unit laundry facilities and whirlpool tubs. Our hotel room was a two-bedroom suite with a in-unit laundry, master bedroom and a second bedroom with two additional beds. The kitchen area was beautiful. The hotel room was so spacious and quiet! The resort also offers a variety of amenities to enjoy if you're looking for some time away from the theme parks. The hotel includes four outdoor swimming pools, a water slide, two hot tubs, a mini-golf course, a basketball court, a tennis court, a fitness center, and even a playground! There is additional on-site restaurant and a bar. If you need something quick there is also a convenience store and a gift shop. Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer all-inclusive breakfasts as many Hilton hotel chains do. For entertainment, the resort offers a daily schedule of activities for both kids and adults. Those may include arts and crafts, pool games, and movie nights. The pools and fitness centers are typically open from early morning until late evening. My family enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was pretty inexpensive for our stay too. The spacious room, on-site activities, and the customer service was amazing at this hotel! I would stay here again in the future.

Yelp
This property was an exchange on my timeshare. From pictures and descriptions it sounded great. The good and bad: Staff really tries to make your stay exceptional. That includes management, front desk and housekeeping. The close proximity to Disney World is a real plus. The grounds are kept up and quite nice. Negatives; The property was bought by Hilton. They have not renovated all the rooms. We first got an old non renovated room that was beyond dated and had a horrible odor. Upon inquiring if other rooms were available, they changed our room to a much nicer room. The facility advertises many activities like miniature golf. Don't waste your time. It is a poor attempt to create a miniature golf course. They did not inform us of the Resort Fee. In addition, first 3 days it rained a great deal where upon pool and out door facilities were closed. Still had to pay Resort Fee even though facilities were not available. Third day used the washer. Washed clothes and when done put clothes in dryer. Dryer did not work. Maintaince called and arrived in 30 minutes. Could not fix it so needed to replace it. One hour later we had a working dryer. That evening put up another wash. This time washing machine flooded the floor. Took wet clothes out and dried them in dryer. Told front desk not to repair washer until we checked out. Very poor internet service as well. By pools internet drops. Conclusion: staff really tries to make your stay great. Problem, the facility is very dated and in disrepair. This property doesn't represent the Hilton brand very well. Don't waste your money.

Yelp
Love staying here! 4 pools, large rooms, friendly staff and the text service to get ahold of someone is wonderful!

Yelp
The hotel and property are very nice. Everything is very clean and the staff was extremely helpful.

Yelp
Mystic Dunes DO NOT BECOME AN OWNER OR give out any information to them! SCAM!!!! RUDE HORRIBLE!!!! As an owner they are rude and not nice!!! Don't believe the lies!

Kevin P.

Yelp
Avoid this property at all costs! The room I was offered was dirty and on the 4th floor of a building with a broken elevator. While asking the manager, Bryan, to for a more acceptable option, he offered a small amount of Hilton points and threatened to have Security kick us out. Hilton Diamond Member Customer Service said only the manager on duty could offer compensation a said I would have to pay more than $400 to stay at a different Hilton property. I have never been treated so poorly by Hilton. Also, the restaurant begins serving breakfast at 8am, much later than most hotels. The theme park shuttle leaves at 10:45 and requires a transfer to another Disney shuttle. The property appears old with multiple layers of paint and signs of neglected repairs.

Yelp
This a great, family friendly resort. We stayed for 4 nights/5 days and we really enjoyed our time. We only paid $70 a night plus resort fee. The condo was big enough for me, my husband and 2 sons. My mom was able to meet us for 2 nights to enjoy the pool, mini golf and resort amenities. This is a time share resort, so all rooms come with a full kitchen. So you don't have to eat out every meal. We had transportation to Disney (it's a ride at 10:45am to Hollywood studios), they brought everything you need to your room within 30 minutes. They have tons of activities for the kids, including the gatorland experience where we got to see animals and hold them. The pool is open til 10pm and if it is a little chilly out they do turn on the heaters. 10/10 recommend. We will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and clean the unit was (building 15). I wish I could have stayed longer. The main pool was nice and the quesadilla and frozen drink were actually very good. We took advantage of the free bike rentals and found a smaller tennis court to hit some balls on (the main court at the activities center was being resurfaced - wish that had been advertised). All in all we had a great experience and bonus points for it being relatively empty during our visit in early September.

Yelp
This hotel was simply amazing. This is actually more of a resort than a hotel simply because of the size and amenities that you are going to find here. From the moment we stepped onto the property going through the locked gate we knew that we were in for a great vacation. We checked in and the woman at the front desk was very welcoming. The one thing I did not like was getting pressure before we walked out after checking in to try a presentation regarding their timeshares. We have suffered through some of these presentations before and had no interest but I felt some pressure to say yes. We finally said no and left the front desk in order to find a room. Our room was located in building 26 near the large pool which we unfortunately did not use but it looked amazing. Our room was simply amazing. It was a two bedroom villa with two bathrooms, a full equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, table, chairs, separate living room and all the amenities you would need. The balcony was also nice but the doors were a little tricky on how to open them to get outside to the balcony. We really enjoyed our stay. Our kids were so happy to have their own space with two beds and a full bathroom on one side and we were happy to have the large soaking tub and separate shower and separate toilet in our master suite. We definitely indulged in bubble baths almost every night of our stay. We were able to order DoorDash and get some items delivered directly to our room despite security. We could really appreciate that. Everyone was very friendly. This location is pretty close to Walt Disney World which was the reason for our stay, about a 10 to 15 minute drive. There is a shuttle service but the timing of the shuttle did not work for our schedule so we opted to drive instead.

Yelp
I was hesitant about booking my two night stay at this resort because of previous reviews. I figured how bad could it really be and just decided to give it a try. We arrived at 9:30am on the day of our check in and we knew that check in time wasn't until 4pm. We sat down in the lobby and waited a bit since we saw that the receptionist was busy with other customers. As soon as she was done she called us over. I originally had planned to ask her if we could leave our luggage at the front until it was check in time so that we could go out "luggage free". When I told her this, she quickly told me there was no need for that and she was going to check for any available rooms. She surprisingly got us a room and had us checked in and ready to go within five minutes. She was SO NICE and HELPFUL. She gave us a map of the complex and a lot of useful information regarding activities and local discounts. She then mentioned to us she had already called the shuttle and told us to wait outside as he would help us with the luggage and take us to our room. Once outside we waited about 10 minutes. He pulled up, parked the golf cart, and stood there. He didn't say one word to us and watched us struggle to load the luggage onto the back of the cart. It was the most awkward thing ever as he just stood there . We drove away and thankfully our room wasn't too far from the office. He parked, unbuckled the luggage, and went back to the front. At this point I didn't even look at him anymore and we quickly unloaded our luggage and walked away. The king bedroom suite was huge and nicely equipped with all the necessities. The bed was very comfy and we loved the fact the room had a ceiling fan. No complaints here, we felt safe and had a nice stay in this room. The grounds are huge and the entrance to this place is extravagant. Security was always present at the gate and had us verify our room number before letting us onto the grounds each time. Our stay would've been perfect 5 star stay if and only we had not interacted with the shuttle guy, he was strange...

Yelp
My first time staying here. The 2 bedroom villa was nice and big, the furniture though was dated. Needs a touch up for sure. The master bathroom was big, nicely laid out and clean. The shower head however needs to be replaced, the water barely comes out and that is true for both bathrooms. The TVs need to be bigger, can barely see it from your bed. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The living room couch was uncomfortable. We were given 2 bottles of water upon check in. Overall it was a nice stay. The on property restaurant was ok, we almost didn't eat in there because everything was old and dingy looking, they also had a huge floor heater with ducts attached from the ceiling, very odd. The food however was good. The one big thing I think they should change is how they advertise they have a shuttle to Disney world. They do but it only leaves for the park once a day in the morning and twice a day for the return trip! Crazy! We ended up having to drive. This was one of the main reasons I chose this property. I probably will not stay here again.

Yelp
Very nice accommodations, though IMO a lot of wasted space. We could have parked a car in the entry/dining area. A well appointed kitchen and comfortable living room. Beds were equally comfortable and master bathroom was expansive. Most rooms are on the golf course so we could sit in our lanai and watch the approach and putts on one hole. Pools were well located and one had a decent food and beverage bar. Lots of deck & lounge chairs with always done available. There are cabanas available for rent, each with a television. Bar drinks were great! The restaurant at the clubhouse was very good - breakfast & Dinner for us, plus the room service came from the same kitchen. There are many activities available - mini golf, bicycles, art classes, etc. There is also a decent fitness gym. Not a great walking area and it's a bit off the beaten path. I'd return for 4 persons but for a couple, there are better choices in the area.

Yelp
Beautiful golf course. Prices are reasonable and the staff very helpful. The greens are excellent. We will definitely return again next trip to Florida.

Yelp
Just stayed there this past week with my family for spring break. We went to both Disney & Universal. The proximity to Disney was great. We were hoping for a newly renovated unit but got a 3BR & 2BR renovated in 2018. Despite not getting into the most recently renovated rooms we still were very happy with our accommodations. The units are extremely spacious and the lanai is a nice touch. Also the kitchen was really nice and made cooking for family meals really easy. We were in building 31 near the pool which was super convenient. The only thing to look out for is the raccoons at night... they like to go into the trash cans. Otherwise highly recommend this property, rooms were clean, staff was friendly and accommodating; shout out to Martin at the front gate, GSA Donna, & Jadelyn on text for the late check out. We loved it so much we will come back and make a trip of it every other year. Great job Hilton!

Yelp
Let's begin by stating that the property is beautiful and the accommodations are fair. Unfortunately, my experience at the property this past March 19 through March 21, 2025 was horrible and I will not be returning anytime soon. The property has very limited shuttle service to transport guests throughout the resort and we were stranded at the main pool waiting on a shuttle pickup for over an hour in the blazing sun. Finally, after being picked up, after messaging the concierge several times, we were transported to the checkin center and complained to management to no avail. Next horrible experience(s) was that the bathroom ceiling in our unit leaked both nights of our stay flooding our bathroom floor and almost causing a slip hazard. We sent several messages to the concierge on this as well only to receive subpar accommodations and a minor adjustment to our reservation total. Next, we were left waiting on the shuttle again on a different day for nearly 45 minutes until we decided to just order an Uber ride off the resort. We initially intended to dine on the resort for breakfast but after waiting, what seemed like an eternity for the shuttle to pick us up, we decided otherwise. Again, we messaged several times to concierge on this issue as well. During our stay, we had the unfortunate experience of having to speak with three different managers regarding this failure in service and disappointment with our unit. The managers were attentive and professional, yet the accommodations to remedy these complaints were subpar. We had no opportunity to experience any of the resort amenities other than the main pool, yet we were still billed a resort fee for both nights. While the resort did refund one night stay, I feel they should have taken more steps to accommodate our horrible experience, especially with a flooded bathroom both nights of our two night stay. I cannot recommend this resort based on my experience and I do not intend on returning.

Yelp
I can't believe this is a Hilton. It was an awful experience. Two positives, lovely ground and pool area and Ximea at the front desk. (I'm sure I misspelled her name.) First of all, we had to change rooms. The door to an adjoining room wouldn't seal. Our room smelled like whatever they were cooking. It was dark, dreary, and unclean. A gentlemen at the desk begrudgingly changed our room. The second room was brighter, but also dirty. Dead bugs and food from previous guests on the floor. The freezer was iced over. How is this a Hilton property? It's just awful. We left the next morning shocked and disappointed.

Yelp
Love this place , home away from home . Staff is quite friendly and so are the other guests. I walk the property a lot and everyone is so friendly . They have great walking paths and a nice updated gym . Plenty of pools to choose from and have excellent food options . This is my number one pick for the Hilton

Yelp
I give this place 1star because of the up keep of the land. I will never visit this place again. I think it's ran very poorly. I visit this resort on March 19, 2025 and the first thing that is wrong is this resort only has 1 shuttle which is a small car to transport customers to anywhere on the resort. So people whomever see this review if you don't have a car then this isn't the resort for you. First off we caught a shuttle to the main pool until our room was ready and once we got a message stating that our room was ready, we text the message line that we were told to text once we were ready to come back to the main lobby to be checked in. We waited for over an 1 hour to get back to the main lobby of the resort, and I spoke to a manager name Cora and she apologized and stated that she wasn't aware that it was only 1 shuttle that was running and she also stated that they are short on staff...and like I explained to her, that isn't our problem especially when you have customers paying hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. I talked to one of the workers who finally came to take me and my boyfriend back to the main lobby to get checked in, he stated that alot of people has been complaining about this matter and having to wait over 45 mins to an hours to get from one part of the resort to the other part. This is down right ridiculous! If you all don't have enough staff then you should address that on your website, stating that due to short amount of staff there is only 1 shuttle driver. That way people will not be blind sided and they can make a decision to purchase a rental car, but at least give them that option, as a business owner you don't wait until this type of matter happen, then tell customers that you all are short staff as if that is going to be okay with customers that is left stranded. The next day we ordered a shuttle to transport us to the restaurant to have breakfast, we waited 45 mins to be picked up, we ended up calling an uber to go have breakfast off of the resort, "again ridiculous! There was and elderly lady who was on a cane waiting as well for about 30 mins, she was extremely pissed off and stated that she will never come back to this place. For two nights straight water was leaking in our bathroom from the exhaust fan which on one of those nights I almost slipped and fell due to all the water that was on the floor and I didn't see this until I actually stepped in the bathroom, which if I would have fell it would have been a lawsuit. We were told that they would have an engineer to come up and look at, but of course that never happened. They only waived 1 night free which we should have gotten all of our money back due to everything that happened overall. Customers pay all this money but get very low quality service. NEVER EVER WILL I EVER RETURN HERE!!!

Yelp
I truly believe Hilton bought this place sight unseen. There is no way in hell Hilton can put their stamp on a crap place like this. I feel punked. We spent a wonderful week at HGVC Seaworld however they were sold out for the weekend so I booked Mystic Dunes to keep the vacation going. Honestly, please steer clear of this hotel/timeshare. Which btw, Diamond goes hard on the sales pitch for ownership. You can't even get away from the front desk before the "concierge" sneaks in and promises you sweet nothings in return for a 60 min presentation. My room phone hasn't stopped ringing so I unplugged it. I'll let my photos do the talking because I am disgusted and ashamed to have put my family through this. Unacceptable: Room, sliding glass door full of dead bugs, old leaves and muck. Musty and dark room. Outdated, sparse furniture. Bathroom is falling apart and moldy. Living room ceiling is bloated from water damage. Refrigerator hums loudly. Washer/dryer combo is older than I am. Sofa bed mattress and cushions stained with urine and other reddish brown substances. Gorgeous: Mystic Dunes grounds are lovely. I see where the money goes. Beautiful herons walking around peacefully. Great pools, clean pool area. Activities posted. Lots of things to do included in resort fee. Plenty of parking this week.

Yelp
This place is way over priced for what you get and for what else is available in and around Orlando and Disney. First of you can here every sound your neighbors make. And if you have a loud family next door you might as well move in with them. The couch in the room was disgusting. There was a gap in the room you can see threw. Room is very outdated. How ever the pools are very nice. And don't forget to bring your towels from your room.

Yelp
Today, I returned to this location to spend the night and ever since Hilton took over, there seems to be an improvement in management. Everybody was smiling. When I checked in, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and they were kind enough to give me an early check-in and a late departure. The room was clean, everything was tidy, the bed was comfortable, and I would definitely go back again. I still feel that they cheated me at this location a few years ago, and it seems like no one cares whether it's resolved or not. However, it's just one person's issue and they have thousands of people coming. Regardless of the price you're quoted, they charge a resort fee of anywhere from $25-$35 per night. Additionally, they'll require a refundable deposit as long as you don't damage the place. I had a two bedroom two bath with a full kitchen as I always do, this time I stay alone, but it doesn't matter I love this hotel, but still have that sore spot.

Yelp
This is a beautiful property: golf course ( close bye), mini golf, pools, and places to walk. The 2 bedroom condo we were in had 2 very large bedrooms, a mammoth master bathroom, full kitchen and ample living area and porch. One bedroom had 2 queens size beds and of course the sofa could be used for sleeping also. The Master bedroom had a king size bed. The beds were very comfortable. The entire unit and grounds are very clean and maintained. this is a great place to stay . You will need transportation for shopping . There is a bus that goes to the theme parks but schedule is limited. We went there as part of a sampler plan for the vacation club and the timing of our visit was not good, but it was restful. My only compliant was that the 60-90 minute presentation ended up being about 3 hours and the pressure to purchase was definitely evident, even though we tried to convince them it was not in our budget.

Yelp
The resort fee is not even worth it. I just called to talk to a the manager of the resort because the guy housekeeper didn't even finish making up the guest bedroom. The front agent said the manager is to busy to take this call, phone didn't work on arrival, pools closed half the time we're here. Don't stay here not worth the money.

Yelp
WARNING FIRE HAZARD!!! Horrible place to stay! Dirty, black mold around vents, smell musty, very out dated and old ripped furniture. Then smoke detector when off at 3am latter to find out next night water heat was on fire!

Yelp
Please read carefully and make your own conclusion: DO NOT waste your time and hard-earned money staying at this "Resort". I have been with Hilton for over 10 years with a Diamond status. Prior to coming to Hilton, I was with Marriott for around 15 years. That shows your loyalty to a brand. Unfortunately, my family and I experienced the worst hospitality accommodation and service ever. My wife got bitten by some type of bug and her legs and feet are full of blisters till this day, (See attached). This incident happened during Labor Day weekend. On our first complaint, we talked to an assistant manager Ketsia, and she told us that she was going to send security to inspect our room the next day at 9am. We waited until 10:30am and no call/no show. We then went back to the lobby and talked to another assistant manager Melanie and told her what Ketsia had told us and she apologies and told us "Oh, she should have you guys fill an incident report/statement", she told us to write it at that time, which we did. She said, security will inspect the room and let us know... Here we are closest to month after this incident and we still have not received a call from this resort, Ketsia, Melanie neither the incompetent General Manager to even apologies for these issues. We spend part of our vacation in the Emergency Room and before that at a local Walgreens getting creams and other stuff to see if that would help, obviously it did not. My wife still have several blisters, unable to walk correctly due to these bites and many medical bills. This resort is #Pathetic. I am very real on all of this, so if you want to hear more feel free to email me if you would like to hear more about this. roccaj@mail.com

Yelp
Had the most amazing presentation of Hilton's Resort Membership. Pedro had me envision a most wonderful opportunity to increase my Quality of Life, along with Carlos who invited me to a Next Level Dream moment. Was here as a guest of my favorite Aunt and we had a super great vacation. The whole resort complex was very Florida beautiful with pools, golf course and the location was center for family and friends to visit.

Yelp
Not taking away room service! On site managers are taking away not only people's jobs and livelihood, but the amenity of room service which is a part of time share owner's rights and amenity that they pay for. This job title has been thrown out the window as well as the employees that work this position 20+ hours a week. The "leadership" / management decided that this position doesn't provide enough for the restaurant to the point that they are taking it completely away and the way they went to eliminate the position was probably the most disgusting business move that I've ever experienced. Mid shift they mention that deliveries will no longer be made and then I'm scolded for expressing and exposing the truth to the owners that pay for this service. They have decided to do a rehiring process for those that currently work here and up front made it clear that not all of us will continue having jobs after their rehire process. It's pretty cruel and disgusting that they couldn't facilitate a job for all the staff that has been working hard and doing everything to keep their jobs just because they are negligent to make positive motion to make the position more lucrative. Instead they have made more steps to discourage room service ordering which snowball effects going into people working that position to lose more and more money without proper compensation for the lack of sales and pay that we deserve. $9/hr with no service charges or tips is not minimum wage. This is an absolutely disgusting and disgraceful way of treating employees. I hope the right people can see this and build an opinion as strong as mine about how this place carries themselves. Be aware Timeshare owners, they will take advantage of you!

Yelp
The place has improved since Hilton took over. Major renovations and ongoing improvements. They have placed king beds in units and have totally redone living rooms and kitchen. Will stay at this property again.

Yelp
Was on a recent stay here with my family and there was some good and some bad. I will say, up until the last day of my stay, the front desk was very helpful with any request I had. I'll get to the other part later. The room was outdated but clean. They are supposedly doing renovations on the resort rooms though so I'm assuming that will all be changed in the future. They have a lot of pools, be aware of the tiki bar times because they differ from the pool hours. After staying for a few days, we started to find roaches in the rooms, which really bothered us. We were also promised a 2pm checkout by the concierge desk if we attended one of the Hilton Grand Vacation presentations, which we did. Then the morning of check out, we were told that they couldn't accommodate our late checkout that was promised and the best they could do was 11am. So we had to rush to get all packed up and out of the rooms. The walls are paper thin. We heard every conversation our neighbors were having and I'm sure they heard ours as well. Overall, I think this place has a lot of potential. Golf course is being renovated and supposedly host PGA tours in the future so that will bring in more revenue as well. I doubt that I'd stay here again anytime soon until it's renovated though.

Yelp
Do not stay at this property. I am a Hilton Diamond member so I always stay at Hilton properties. It is not a secure property. My room key was given out to someone without my permission. I have tried contacting Hilton corporate, went in to talk to the general manager today and was promised a call back. It was never received. Do not stay here. You will be making a mistake. Poor property, poor management, highly disappointed. Shame on Hilton and shame on this property. If you care about your family's security and safety do not stay here.

Yelp
I am a Diamond Resort Hilton club member and I decided to booked a 2 bedroom on the first week and 3 bedroom on the 2nd week. I booked this room months ahead and considering my 3k yearly maintenance fee. I am expecting a decent room, mind you they placed is on a coenwr of an old building where they placed used towels outside, washer has a lot of molds,it smells so bad and carpet/couch has lots of stain plus the tile floor had bunch of dirt. It was very disappointing that I asked my husband to complain about it and ygey told us they are 95% booked but been checking the rooms and it has a lot of available rooms online and on our club website. The fact that this is my first ever vacation with our liver transplant son who is immunocompromise ia sooo sad.

Yelp
Paper thin walls , zero decoration, no frills just a standard apartment. No windows or balcony! Front windows for the bedroom.Full size coffee maker was nice and full kitchen accessories were nice for vacation people. Called security for noise at 1:30 am for noise problems with guests . Large property so nice for traveling people. Safe property we could barely get through the gate to even check in! We stayed here due to a local funeral we attended and we were visiting our out of town guests and had a few drinks too may. Played it safe and wanted to check in close to our guests rather than drive any distances home.

Yelp
Stayed here to stay during a conference myself and a coworker went to for about 5 days. The unit was clean and everything worked. Yes due to restrictions, etc they did not change the sheets and you had to ask them to bring extra towels but I can understand. No thrills or spills but this place served its purpose and we had a good stay and got to play golf as well.
