What a wonderful experience. Check-in: Meeting Andre and the lovely team at the desk, we cannot thank you enough for the upgrade to the room. It was amazing and the view of the golf course from the balcony, as an avid golfer it was nice to sit there (Wishing I was playing) in the morning and have such a wonderful view. Restaurants: Cilantro and Rubi bar were perfect. I’ll start with Rubi bar as that’s where we spent the most time, I think we had several lunches and one dinner there and the staff during the days and evening were both welcoming, attentive and just brilliant. The food just hit the spot and I think we tried almost everything on the menu haha Cilantro, what an absolute delight, I’ve been to many chain hotels in my time that boast ‘fine dining’ that never meet expectations. Cilantro on the other hand wow, from the service to the actual food it was unforgettable. Spa: My wife and I went twice and enjoyed the facilities and it was bliss, such a wonderful way to spend our first holiday together by ourselves in a couple of years. Gym and Pool, having a warm and cold pool is bliss. I love a cold pool so I had no issues with it and my wife enjoyed the warm one haha. Gym was lovely. The shuttle bus is easy and we’ve had guests say nothing but nice things so thank you from the bottom of my heart in making this such a relaxing break for my wife and I. Alternatively it's a 4 euro taxi to the Marina where there is plenty of alternative food and drink options as well. The hotel was amazing, and would highly recommend visiting the site and look forward to my next experience there.

We stayed for 4 nights as we traveled the Algarve. We had a two bedroom apartment that was fully outfitted with everything needed for a relaxing and functional stay. The staff were very welcoming and helpful from our shuttle driver to valet to restaurant staff. The hotel went out of their way to acknowledge my birthday ( don’t know how) but a scrumptious cake and bottle of sparkling wine as well a a note was a very nice surprise in our apartment. Breakfast daily offered a variety. The restaurant food was delicious on my birthday and the six pools including a heated indoor offer plenty of options. The spa is across the courtyard. We loved the property and had an excellent stay. We took day trips to Faro, Lagos and Albufeira which are short car rides away. Loved it.

Back again this year as really enjoyed our stay last year . Hotel is beautiful so clean , rooms were cleaned everyday the cleaning staff are so hard working we got fresh towels everyday and bottles of water supplied so👍👍 breakfast choices is fantastic something for everyone. Food & drink at hotel great but bit on expensive side but we took advantage of shuttle bus and ate at the Marina most evenings . My only complaint is time we waited for our room on arrival (3hours) now I know it clearly says check in is 3pm but when you’ve been at your departure airport since 4am and arrive at hotel at 11am all you want is into your room to freshen up we saw other guests arrive after us and get keys to rooms straight away so Jet2 & Love Holidays need to address this if you are putting an early flight on to these destinations arrange with hotels that guests will get rooms on arrival . Great hotel for Golfers and the Spa is amazing but again very expensive but the therapists are brilliant, hotel also has a lovely Hairdresser. Will we be back I’d say so but I’ll be checking when I arrive to avoid hanging around in UK clothing in the heat 😬

Beautiful, recently renovated hotel with its own golf course, located not far from the city center and the marina. The surroundings are stunning and create a very relaxing atmosphere. A very special mention to Raquel at reception – she is an absolute star! Incredibly helpful, super friendly, and always going the extra mile to assist. She truly made our stay exceptional. The hotel facilities are top-notch, with a wonderful spa, great recreation options, and access to a lovely beach club. Shuttle buses run regularly to both the beach and the marina, which is very convenient. Overall, a fantastic stay – but what really makes the difference is the outstanding service, especially from Raquel.

Wow!!!! This hotel and their team of staff are outstanding. They are so welcoming and do everything they can to ensure your stay is special. In a world of automation, they manage to keep the human touch at the heart of all they do, we can’t praise the team enough. The hotel’s upgrade is amazing and very tasteful. If you’re reading this, then go ahead and book you’ll love it!

Very nice hotel which actually feels like a plush 4 star hotel. Rooms lovely, staff very helpful and friendly. Pool is very nice with lots of comfy sunbeds. Its a little way out from the marina, probably a 25 min walk but they do provide a shuttle bus which operates at set times during the day. Its about 4-5 euros in a taxi. The only down point would be the price of food and drinks - pool bar prices are 8 euro for a beer, 27.5 euro for a pepperoni pizza, and 23.5 for a chicken and bacon sandwich. This is a bit expensive compared to what you can pay at the marina I think.

A sold Hilton resort with all the whistles and bells. Clean and caters to the resorts goers in the south of Portugal. The beds are not the most comfortable for what you pay, but I'd go back again in a second. Breakfast was great, and so was the room service and housekeeping. A lovely property!

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Algarve. Amazing staff, clean rooms, great breakfast buffet, short ride to the Marina. Hotel pool was lovely and they had a babysitter painting faces and doing activities with kids. The spa was one of the best I've ever been to. I had a facial and massage by Gabriella and I would have booked another treatment the next day if she wasn't off. If I ever visit Vilamoura again, I'll be back!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights in late December. We knew when we booked that we were going in the off season but we did not expect all the pools to be closed. The property needs a little updating as far as the rooms (beds, linens, electronics) but other than that it up being a really quiet and relaxing getaway. The spa is wonderful, (free entry for Hilton gold +) the ayurvedic waters were delightful, we had one of the best massages to date (we love massages). Margarita (the restaurant manager) made our meals at the restaurant memorable, her customer service is better than any received while visiting southern Portugal. The bar had great signature drinks and the local beer, Sagres (a new favorite of ours) on tap. I would definitely like to come back to check the Villamoura when all the amenities are available.

I can highly recommend this hotel, it is a clean and friendly hotel. You are greeted warmly and the staff throughout the stay were friendly and professional. The food in the restaurants and room service was good quality.

Hilton vacation better property than in theStates (thiugh I've inly stayed in Orlando) the Spa is one of the best spas I have ever seen. The decor and facilities is well thought out. Its a Hilton so it starts off with higher expectations. The people are friendly and we can walk to Marina (3 km)but they do have shuttle service. We do not golf but the hotel has enough amenities to keep my family entertained. We did drive to the beach amcouple of times.

We have stayed here twice once in the hotel units and once in the hgvc apartment units (accessible also for hotel guests). The units are classy and modern and the facilities are all you can wish for. it is clean and fresh. The apartment units have DVDplayer, 3 flat screen TVs (in the 2 bedroom unit), stereo, fully equipped kitchen. Bring ground coffee + filters, dishwasher tablets and washing powder, so you don't have to spend expensive money in their shop. Onsite and eating: Onsite are four restaurants and a minimarket. The breakfast buffet is great - lots of variety and freshly made egg dishes. If you are staying in the apartment and want to prepare your own breakfast - you need a car to go to the supermarket near the marina. Pool area: There are 5-6 pools and a large supernice SPA. The hotel has one big problem - that is the pool area. The pool is seldom crowded, but most chairs are occupied by towels (with our without people) the entire day. Already at breakfast when the pools open (at 09) people start to occupying the chairs around the pool with towels and then leaving for hours before they turn back. Any time during the day this is a fact - an annoying fact. Free transport to beach and marina: Hilton has a free transfer minivan to the beach during daytime day and evening hours to the marina. Praia Falesia (Falesia beach), is free for Hilton-guests (get your towel by the hotel). When in the marina area, try to find less expensive restaurants off the actual marina. Neighborhood: Just walking distance away from the hotel area you have the old village of Vilamoura. Beautiful houses with blossoming gardens everywhere! A few nice restaurants and bars as well. Tennis courts and golf courts.

Great service but so many children everywhere you will think you are at Disneyland. It is not authentic it's is very Americanized.

The service and the food we received at the Hilton Villamoura Portugal "Cilantro " restaurant was more than outstanding but excellent. The talents of Chef Riodridgo and how he made us feel and his 5 star cuisine left my wife and I speechless. The first night the sea bass an veal we prepare flawlessly. The appetizer of suckling pig was elite the description "suckling." The maître'd Paulo and Adrian service was exceptional. We ordered a white wine and Paulo brought out 5 bottles for us to sample and the assisted us with our selection. After getting to know the staff we forge a band that the following evening the Chef prepare a special appetuzer of clams steeped in a spectacular sauce along with a specially prepare Portugese Seafood entree. Wednesday night Chef Rodrigo prepared an appetizer of Portugese sausages prepared on a hot stone with 2 quail eggs cooked on the hot stone along with a Pork belly entree with a local puréed bean dish, local yams with succulent potatoes. Who knew the Hilton Villamoura would be hiding such a wonderful talented Chef and the best food in Villamoura Portugal. We came during the month of January in the off season and got a very unexpected surprise.
