Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa

Just when you think this hotel cant get any better, it just does. The brilliant subtle upgrade of the foyer and Rubi Bar is spectacular.|However it is the staff that blow me away with their professionalism and genuine friendly approach. We experienced a hiccup when we arrived at our original location of As Cascatas, only to find they didn't have our booking and that they were full. Not to worry. A quick call to duty manager Maria and in no time she had us accommodated in the main hotel for the duration of our stay. Not only that but as we had booked a one bedroom apartment we were given room 0050 as a replacement, which is a stunning ground floor two bedroom luxury suite. We thought we had won the lottery as we prefer the main hotel to the apartments at As Cascatas. The room looked and felt like we were the first to ever set foot in it, absolutely incredible, clean, modern with everything you could ever require including a full fridge freezer, washing machine, dish washer, three TVs etc.|The staff in Rubi Bar make the most incredible cocktails and guided by the brilliant Artur, nothing is too much trouble and you are always welcomed with a warm smile. I just wish I had the opportunity to spend more time in there.|A quick thankyou must go to the housekeeping staff who must be the best in the business and Tomas at the front desk for his professionalism. Also the staff at the pool bar during the afternoon are simply amazing and make the most incredible Sangria. |One tiny criticism is that the romantic pool no longer turns into a jacuzzi at the push of a button. I used to enjoy that. |Considering Vilamoura? Do not go anywhere else.

Beautiful, recently renovated hotel with its own golf course, located not far from the city center and the marina. The surroundings are stunning and create a very relaxing atmosphere. A very special mention to Raquel at reception – she is an absolute star! Incredibly helpful, super friendly, and always going the extra mile to assist. She truly made our stay exceptional. The hotel facilities are top-notch, with a wonderful spa, great recreation options, and access to a lovely beach club. Shuttle buses run regularly to both the beach and the marina, which is very convenient. Overall, a fantastic stay – but what really makes the difference is the outstanding service, especially from Raquel.

Great hotel, excellent staff. I’d probably rate as 4* rather than 5* but amenities are good, breakfast is nice and everywhere is clean and well maintained. We stayed in a two bed apartment with our two teenage sons and it was great to have a washing machine/fridge freezer and kitchen area to use. It would be useful to have a clothes airer to hang laundry out on the balcony. We didn’t eat in Cilantro but did use the pool restaurant a couple of times during our stay and had breakfast each morning. Food was always decent. Cocktails in Roxi are excellent also. Unfortunately, I believe a necklace of mine was potentially stolen from the room on our last day which is a shame as it had sentimental value to me. I did inform staff at reception but haven’t heard anything from them so presume it’s not been found. My advice would be to put all jewellery etc in the safe as a precaution. The hotel is quite a distance from the marina & beach but they do offer a free shuttle bus service (although space is limited) or it is very easy and cheap to get an Uber (around €4).

This hotel is paradise. Massive thanks to Maria and Diogo who possibly provided the best welcome to a hotel that we’ve had. ||Going on holiday is a big thing for anyone but when a hotel turns it into and experience then your are in paradise.||Jonny is the pool bar exceptional service. Omelette chef just the greatest I’ve ever had the privilege to order with and eat his amazing food.||Genuinely lost for words on what else to say it’s immaculate and stunning and the shuttle team are also fantastic.||I’ll be back and with my golf clubs next time. ||Obrigado team hilton.

We have just returned from 3 nights at Hilton Vilamoura. I was staying with my mother and 2 children, we had a great time. The food was excellent and the staff in both of the restaurants went out of their way to make sure we had a great meal and were all happy. A special mention to Nishan, Prince, Santosh and Antonio in Aquarela and also the chefs in both restaurants who cook the delicious food!|The pool was a little cold for me, but the children enjoyed it, there were plenty of comfy sunbeds and so no worries about what time you arrived at the pool. We got the hotel shuttle to the beach and the staff at the beach restaurant were very kind too, we got an Uber back and also the next day as always very quick and reasonable. The family room was clean and spacious. All in all a great short break!

Couldn’t fault anything about the hotel. |All in all an outstanding experience. |No sunbed wars, lovely comfy sunbeds! Food delicious. Spent half a day in the spa which was fantastic and very reasonably priced at €25 each. |Used the shuttle a couple of times but on the occasions where we mistimed it we just got an uber which was ~€4-5 to the marina so not bad at all. Thanks for the upgrade to a 2 bed apartment. Anyone thinking of booking an apartment would thoroughly recommend. They are amazing. Will be returning. Thank you for a lovely holiday

We loved this hotel. Staff here are excellent, very polite and professional. The lobby area is calm and smalls great, the bars lovely, food fabulous, great breakfast. Only niggle is a little longer wait than would have liked to be checked in for breakfast. Sort this and you have very wonderful stay x

We stayed at the Hilton Vilamoura for 7 nights with my elderly parents. All of the staff are very easy and pleasant to deal with especially Janine in the Reservations Department who accommodated us in a low floor and organised taxi transfers to and from airport. She was very helpful. |The Hotel has very comfortable rooms, a huge welcoming and plush foyer , a variety of restaurants and very convenient to the Marina. Shuttle buses run to and from the beach and the Marina at regular intervals. We hired bikes from Alex in S Bikes through reception which were delivered to Hotel. |Our stay was very pleasant apart from one night when there was a party with music blaring across from us in one of the apartments. I called reception at 130am as we were unable to sleep and whilst a gentleman from reception asked them to keep the noise down the party continued till 330 am as they paid no attention to him when he left. How this disturbance was allowed to continue or not followed up by security or reception was dissapointing. |There are two main restaurants to dine in the evening , one a little bit more formal than the other. The food is excellent though Half Board Menus can be very limited if you are there for the week. |There are 3 main pools , one at the hotel which is very packed with sunloungers kids and flotation devices. The second pool is an adults only pool , it is round shaped and small but packed again with sunloungers. However it is quieter than the other pools but it has no railings to accommodate elderly people to enter/exit pool.My elderly mother slipped coming out and was lucky she didn’t hurt herself. The 3 rd pool is at the As Cascatas Apartments and there is a small children’s pool there as well. The main pool is crowded with sunloungers and is very difficult and narrow to walk by the pool. Again there are children using flotation devices in the main pool and it is very hard to swim . There doesn’t seem to be any pool restrictions on flotation devices which makes it very hard to swim in any of these pools. The pool areas in all 3 pools could do with power hosing under and around the beds as there are areas which are not clean. |The area No 2 at the Beach reserved for Hilton guests is very nice but you have to bring a towel down and back as you can only change towels up at the hotel .|Overall we had a great time apart from a few hiccups . The staff were very helpful the food was very good and the accomodation was very comfortable . We would definately come again.

A sold Hilton resort with all the whistles and bells. Clean and caters to the resorts goers in the south of Portugal. The beds are not the most comfortable for what you pay, but I'd go back again in a second. Breakfast was great, and so was the room service and housekeeping. A lovely property!

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Algarve. Amazing staff, clean rooms, great breakfast buffet, short ride to the Marina. Hotel pool was lovely and they had a babysitter painting faces and doing activities with kids. The spa was one of the best I've ever been to. I had a facial and massage by Gabriella and I would have booked another treatment the next day if she wasn't off. If I ever visit Vilamoura again, I'll be back!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights in late December. We knew when we booked that we were going in the off season but we did not expect all the pools to be closed. The property needs a little updating as far as the rooms (beds, linens, electronics) but other than that it up being a really quiet and relaxing getaway. The spa is wonderful, (free entry for Hilton gold +) the ayurvedic waters were delightful, we had one of the best massages to date (we love massages). Margarita (the restaurant manager) made our meals at the restaurant memorable, her customer service is better than any received while visiting southern Portugal. The bar had great signature drinks and the local beer, Sagres (a new favorite of ours) on tap. I would definitely like to come back to check the Villamoura when all the amenities are available.

I can highly recommend this hotel, it is a clean and friendly hotel. You are greeted warmly and the staff throughout the stay were friendly and professional. The food in the restaurants and room service was good quality.

Hilton vacation better property than in theStates (thiugh I've inly stayed in Orlando) the Spa is one of the best spas I have ever seen. The decor and facilities is well thought out. Its a Hilton so it starts off with higher expectations. The people are friendly and we can walk to Marina (3 km)but they do have shuttle service. We do not golf but the hotel has enough amenities to keep my family entertained. We did drive to the beach amcouple of times.

We have stayed here twice once in the hotel units and once in the hgvc apartment units (accessible also for hotel guests). The units are classy and modern and the facilities are all you can wish for. it is clean and fresh. The apartment units have DVDplayer, 3 flat screen TVs (in the 2 bedroom unit), stereo, fully equipped kitchen. Bring ground coffee + filters, dishwasher tablets and washing powder, so you don't have to spend expensive money in their shop. Onsite and eating: Onsite are four restaurants and a minimarket. The breakfast buffet is great - lots of variety and freshly made egg dishes. If you are staying in the apartment and want to prepare your own breakfast - you need a car to go to the supermarket near the marina. Pool area: There are 5-6 pools and a large supernice SPA. The hotel has one big problem - that is the pool area. The pool is seldom crowded, but most chairs are occupied by towels (with our without people) the entire day. Already at breakfast when the pools open (at 09) people start to occupying the chairs around the pool with towels and then leaving for hours before they turn back. Any time during the day this is a fact - an annoying fact. Free transport to beach and marina: Hilton has a free transfer minivan to the beach during daytime day and evening hours to the marina. Praia Falesia (Falesia beach), is free for Hilton-guests (get your towel by the hotel). When in the marina area, try to find less expensive restaurants off the actual marina. Neighborhood: Just walking distance away from the hotel area you have the old village of Vilamoura. Beautiful houses with blossoming gardens everywhere! A few nice restaurants and bars as well. Tennis courts and golf courts.

Great service but so many children everywhere you will think you are at Disneyland. It is not authentic it's is very Americanized.

Excelente espaco para relaxar com a familia com criancas. Muito bom serviço e acompanhamento. Os cheiros dos quartos é maravilhoso.

The service and the food we received at the Hilton Villamoura Portugal "Cilantro " restaurant was more than outstanding but excellent. The talents of Chef Riodridgo and how he made us feel and his 5 star cuisine left my wife and I speechless. The first night the sea bass an veal we prepare flawlessly. The appetizer of suckling pig was elite the description "suckling." The maître'd Paulo and Adrian service was exceptional. We ordered a white wine and Paulo brought out 5 bottles for us to sample and the assisted us with our selection. After getting to know the staff we forge a band that the following evening the Chef prepare a special appetuzer of clams steeped in a spectacular sauce along with a specially prepare Portugese Seafood entree. Wednesday night Chef Rodrigo prepared an appetizer of Portugese sausages prepared on a hot stone with 2 quail eggs cooked on the hot stone along with a Pork belly entree with a local puréed bean dish, local yams with succulent potatoes. Who knew the Hilton Villamoura would be hiding such a wonderful talented Chef and the best food in Villamoura Portugal. We came during the month of January in the off season and got a very unexpected surprise.
