Himachali Rasoi – A Taste of Authentic Himachal Himachali Rasoi is a hidden gem for those seeking an authentic Himachali culinary experience. From traditional Dham to Siddu, both savory and sweet, and the soothing Kangri tea, every dish reflects the flavors of Himachal. The staff is warm and welcoming, sharing stories about Himachal’s rich traditions, adding to the charm of the experience. The seating is compact yet cozy, creating an intimate setting. When it comes to the Dham, you can choose between a half or full serving—the half portion is smaller, while the full Dham is satisfying for an adult meal. If you’re in search of authentic Himachali flavors, this place is a must-visit!

Had one of the best thalis of my life, the mandyali thali, each and every sabji was complimenting each other's taste, I don't even remember the names, but they were damn good. The sweet sidhu with the ghee was irresistible. I don't know how it's supposed to be made but if there was more filling in the sweet sidhu that would have made it top notch. Overall 😃

When there is a change in location change in food is must and the best place in Shimla for local food is Himachal Rasoi. I was only able to visit 1 time for lunch and tried their mandyali thali. Its totally different from Punjabi cuisine as food is very mild in taste and really good for health I guess. Its a cuisine that I can try 3 to 4 times but still not crave for it as we crave for some other food.

Food quality is okaish. Time taken to prepare the food is tooo long, we had to wait almost 1 hour for our siddu. There was no customer in the shop, still time taken to prepare the food so unprofessional. This place is very overrated, trying skipping this place and go for another one.

Himachali Rasoi offers an authentic taste of Himachali cuisine with traditional flavors and a cozy, rustic ambiance. The dham thali is a must-try, rich in local spices. A perfect spot for experiencing Himachal’s culinary heritage! You will get different Thali on different days of the week. You can also try Siddu a local food.

Try SIDU with lentils & Kangri Dham thali I think it's healthy less spices but according to my taste//preference don't like in taste..

Had Siddu, savoury and sweet. Sweet was good but Savoury was mind blowing. Had chai and warm chaas as well ..would have packed them if we had a flask. Was yummy! Takes 30 mins to prepare the siddhu ..but it's worth the wait . They prepare it absolutely fresh.
