Google
Nice ice cream, expensive compared to other places for a cup, but it's a capital tourist location, so it's expected. But the rolls are good and nice small comfy place.

Mark Kavanagh

Google
16 customers walked in on Puerto Rico Constitution Day (public holiday). One poor guy taking orders AND making the ice cream. Owners need to do better. But that has been the theme of our vacation to Puerto Rico….. High prices, low quality. There is no value.

Google
We were so thrilled to see there is a rolled ice here in San Juan!!!! Took guava cheesecake and it was great!!! Totally forgot to take a photo before I ate it lol:) They also have a Jenga game we played while waiting on our order. Highly recommend!

Google
We stopped here for a couple of lattes. The coffee was good, slightly sweet and not bitter, and the service was great. 6 oz latte costs $3.50 and 10 oz latte costs 4.50. Ordered at the counter and picked up at the counter. They also serve rolled ice cream for $9.00. The booth seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxing.

Google
Super fun ice cream rolls but I feel as if they are just a little bit not as flavorful as they could be. Servers are nice and I love their steampunk themed decorations!!

Google
If I could give it 0 stars i would. We walked in looked at the menu. We weren't even greeted. The lady behind the counter was on the phone. I stood ready to order for a few minutes before she acknowledged me. My daughter fell off a chair (the back of it was broken) she didn't even ask if she was ok. My husband brought the chair to her & told her what happened she pushed it to the side and continued her call on the phone. The ice cream tasted expired. We tossed it out as we walked out.

Google
Great rolls, presentation was a bit off but made up with flavor. 5 stars on minted rolls

Google
This was our second visit. Both times have been great. Service is always wonderful, and so is the ice cream. Fun to watch them make the ice cream, too!

Yelp
This is a great ice cream place! The ice cream is hand rolled with all the ingredients add it in when you order. Everything is made to order and fresh. The menu is very creative and they have several items that would make anybody happy. I had the Tesla Rolls which were amazing, With peanut butter ice cream and chocolate chip ice cream plus whipped cream on top and caramel sauce. Yum! We definitely forgot about our diet today. My wife has the Minted. It was mint chocolate chip and whipped cream. Very nice. It takes a while to get your order but then again everything is made by hand, so that is to be expected. This is a delicious treat in Old San Juan!!

Yelp
Delicious hand rolled pina colada ice cream. Nice place to cool off after a walking tour.

Yelp
Really wanted to try this place as it was close to our hotel room and had good reviews. The hours listed said they were open until 10 pm on Sundays but they were closed before 9 pm. Not good!!
google avatar

Quy M.

Yelp
Stopped by at 9:09pm on a Saturday and the door was slightly closed. My wife opened it and was told they were closed. Couldn't confirm if the hours on Google were incorrect or not, but we walked all the way here for nothing.

Yelp
First of all FIRST TIME TRYING ROLLED ICE CREAM!!! This was an amazing experience to watch them make it I designed my own I had Nutella, raspberry's, chocolate syrup it was amazing! The service was amazing they are very nice. The place was beautiful it gave steam punk vibes amazing for insta pics. Overall the experience was amazing and I am definitely looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
Really good rolled ice cream at a decent place, definitely the best in old town. The ice cream did take a little long to come out but it was decently busy.
google avatar

Ilene B.

Yelp
Better than Anita's. Great ice cream and the A/C is so good you get too cold! Lots of choices to mix and match and fun to watch them make it!
google avatar

Kathryn C.

Yelp
Very delicious ice cream with good costs. The inside is very pretty,. I got the piña colada rolled ice cream and it was enough to easily share between 2-3 people. One thing is that there were limited seats so come with that in mind.
google avatar

Yelp
This PLACE is OPEN!!! Oh wow this ice cream is so worth it... super fuego!! Must try and service was excellent. The placed looks amazing and clean too.

Ann D.

Yelp
A surprisingly delicious made-from-scratch ice cream destination!!! One of our highlights during our short visit in San Juan. So glad we stepped inside for a cool treat.

Yelp
What a lovely spot! We chanced upon this place as we were walking around old San Juan. We had nuts and volts and it delicious. Such a clever name. I enjoyed the way the ice cream was rolled by hand and served. Pretty cool stuff. And it made for one yummy treat on a hot day.

Seth B.

Yelp
This was quite the find. Down the street from a very crowded competitor, I'd say this was the superior product. Lot's of choices, but not so many that you can't decide. Oh and the steampunk inspired interior is cool too.
google avatar

Elisa H.

Yelp
We like the latte, espresso & service and decor- a lot! After a long day of sight seeing- this exactly hit the spot and service was excellent. They have boutique ice cream too but we'd just needed our caffeine.
google avatar

Maya S.

Yelp
They're not closed! And it's awesome!!!! Got pina colada and it was heavenly on a warm day
google avatar

Karla F.

Yelp
This is a tiny place in Old San Juan. The girls are very friendly and love their positive vibes! Amazing ice cream
google avatar

Stephanie R.

Yelp
If you're looking for the best ice cream in San Juan, I recommend going to this joint. It's ice cream is made fresh at the moment. Service was quick and efficient. Sherpa Roll
google avatar

Erica A.

Yelp
Location is open on Sunday August 21 2022 at 5:35pm (eastern time). Kids had rainbow rolls and they were so tasty! Refreshing and good. Anita on corner is closed due to power outage so if you need a cold sweetness for refreshment as you explore the streets of old San Juan Dede stop in here.
google avatar

Sam H.

Yelp
I split the TESLA roll, peanut butter and chocolate chip ice cream with caramel dripping, sliced almonds and whipped cream. They make each order by hand and the ice cream and mixture is fluffy and very flavorful. It's a hit. You will wait a bit but it's worth it.
google avatar

Andrea B.

Yelp
The ice cream was absolutely delicious. It's located in viejo San Juan so a great place to go cool off during a hot day! Would have given this place 5 stars if they hadn't taken over 45 minutes to serve my friends and I. They had forgotten my friend's order which caused the wait to be even longer. I would come back to this place but probably avoid it if there is a line.
google avatar

Claudia D.

Yelp
The ice cream is AMAZING! The different mixes they have are very unique. However, they forgot our order and we waited a pretty long time. Worth the wait though!
google avatar

Yelp
A tasty treat after walking around in Old San Juan. We had one Red Wedding and 3 Chocolate Overloads. Happy faces all around!

Yelp
I totally don't get the hype. We came in around midday and the place was relatively busy, with several empty tables and a two person line--they'd clearly had the same idea we did. We placed our order and sat down and waited. And waited. And waited more. In total we waited over half an hour for ice cream. The ice cream itself was nice--fluffy and airy and obviously high quality, but was lacking a lot of flavor outside of milk which was a bummer. Added on to that, when you order one of their creations (we got piña colada) they load it up with whipped cream so you can't even see the rolled effect. Watching them freeze the ice cream on the anti-griddle was cool, and I think my young cousins would have loved it, but I could never have kept them occupied for half an hour. It was good, but certainly not worth the long wait and high price tag.
google avatar

Nik E.

Yelp
AHA!!!!! We made it in RIGHT before they closed! It worked out because most of the time I saw a line in this place! We popped in and were probably about the 3rd person in line and it took a short time to actually get the order complete and into our mouthes. We ordered the Sherpa Roll. I don't quite remember what was in it, BUT I know I wouldn't order that again! it was super heavy with the chocolate syrup and that killed it! The ice cream itself was phenomenal, but AT ALL COSTS! Avoid the syrupy add ons. Also, don't forget about the yelp check in offer of a free topping.

Yelp
First I have to say how in the world was this place empty on such a hot day, my first time in Puerto Rico , being half Dominican and Puerto Rican, I was super excited to try all the ice cream places I could try. We came here because ice cream rolls is something we have in New York and wanted to compare them. The staff was two young ladies and very very friendly. After going over the options, I decided on a custom roll, which contained Oreo, banana, and caramel. My fiancé got the piña colada rolls. The flavor was amazing on both of them. And the inside of the ice cream shop had AC saving the ice cream from melting. Honestly if you are in old San Juan, you should definitely check this place out. You can walk two blocks up and probably catch people playing music in this small circle. It's worth every bite.

Charles H.

Yelp
Best ice cream and coffees in old town Remember! Puerto Rico is hot and humid so you will need something cool They make your own ice cream -on the spot - any ice cream flavor or flavors. Add your own ingredients - strawberries, almonds, coconut, blue or black berries red pineapple They make from a cream in an ice cold slab, then roll it up to serve in a cup Very nice people. GreT service. Open doors but kept cool inside
google avatar

Linda A.

Yelp
Such a cute little spot in Viejo San Juan. They have a series of flavors to choose from and they also serve coffee. Once you choose your flavor and toppings she spreads the ice cream until it freezes and rolls it, tops it and done! The place is small so expect a lot of people within it and there is not that much seating, you may have to eat outside or standing up. Overall, this is a unique experience for all ages.
google avatar

Jeremy R.

Yelp
We stumbled onto this ice cream shop and loved the vibe! They make the ice cream in front of you with handcrafted love. If that's not good enough (which it should be), they also serve great coffee at a reasonable price.
google avatar

Rina J.

Yelp
This place was delicious. The girl at the front was very kind. If you check in on YELP you get a free topping. I ordered the TESLA and my boyfriend ordered the red wedding. We were both pleasantly surprised. I would stop by here if you need a quick snack, or a decently sized dessert while in OSJ.
google avatar

Nihar K.

Yelp
To get your ice cream at this place, you need to be extremely patient. It takes over 45 minutes during rush hour to get your ice cream. So if you are in the area and hangry (like I was), try finding a better place to get quick sugar rush! The experience is fun but boring when you have to wait for 45 minutes. The red wedding ice cream was very average, tasted more like a strawberry ice cream.
google avatar

Kelsey P.

Yelp
The ice cream was good but could have been better. They were out of many ingredients and could not make some of their posted options. Staff was very nice. I did a create-your-own bowl with strawberry, banana, and cheesecake. I could barely taste the cheesecake. Good for a quick stop if you need something sweet and cold.

Janet W.

Yelp
True novelty ice cream! She actually made the ice cream right in front of us - on a freezer slab & with real cream! An amazing treat after a blistering day at the Fort.
google avatar

Del Y.

Yelp
The ice cream rolls are unique and it's all hand made right in front of you. I had the berry and it was really flavorful. All the fruit they put in the ice cream rolls is also fresh. But the biggest issue I had with this place is it took 35 minutes to get my dish. It's also pricey as it cost me $7.80. If it's not busy and you have a ton of time I'd say try it just because of the uniqueness of the product. If it is even mildly busy keep walking.
google avatar

Zach T.

Yelp
Had the Nuts and Volts. Delicious and great pit stop on a hot day! They make it right in front of you from fresh cream and toppings. Very affordable and interesting concept.

Yelp
Non commercial ice cream roll spot. There are several of these here. It was good n refreshing after the horrible meal I had elsewhere. Would return. Located near the umbrellas
google avatar

Yelp
Place would be so great... if they had napkins. A family with small children ordered ice cream and had a tiny spill on them, asked for napkins and the staff said they had none.... We asked for the staff to wipe our table several times (with a dish cloth from behind the counter) but they never ever came.. So I pulled out some old napkins from the bottom of my bag to wipe my table and then gave some to desperate family in need of cleaning up their kids faces because this facility had none! The girls behind the counter never went next door or to any other place near by to grab napkins. Place was clean and temperature was chilled just enough for our hot day! It takes a while after placing your order to receive the dish, it's made fresh to order..

Yelp
This place was delicious! I got the tesla which was peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie ice cream with whipped cream, almonds, and caramel sauce. I also used the check in offer and added a pirouline to my ice cream! It ranged from $6-$7 and they also had a create your own with a bunch of different flavors and toppings. I went early Sunday morning, so we were the only ones there. I can imagine that if there were more people that it might take a while because they do make the ice cream fresh! This was my first time getting rolled ice cream and I didn't realize they mix the milk and ingredients and freeze it right in front of you. The girl helping us was also very friendly. Pretty neat place!

Yelp
Visited Old San Juan this week and had to visit. Im impressed and will defiantly return when in PR. The staff was very helpful and did a good job preparing ita. I had the Barry barry and it look just as the advertisement does. There is another place like this one and has more toppings but doesn't taste as natural.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute cute cute coffee and ice cream! Cute atmosphere and delicious ice cream rolls. Not much else to say but we liked it!
google avatar

Iryna B.

Yelp
Awesome ice cream made before your very eyes.! Very tasty and refreshing, very creamy ice cream with fresh fruits.
google avatar

Tina C.

Yelp
The place is very charming inside but the employees don't offer a welcoming hello they were sharing ice cream with their fingers with what looked like their friends. We still ordered anyways because we walked all the way over and the rating looked fantastic. But to only to be disappointed by the service and the flavor of the ice wasn't well balanced, plus as we kept walking with our ice cream we found hair in my boyfriends bowl as he was on his 3rd bite. Sadly we won't be going back.
google avatar

Mel C.

Yelp
New to the block. The workers were amazing and welcoming. Allowed my little one to watch how they make the ice cream. I've been trying to try rolled ice cream and the Piña Colada by far was the best one. I didn't get to photograph it but it was delicious. Must try!! If in the area I say to try it out.
google avatar

Lajja M.

Yelp
This place tested my patience- took 45 mins to get an ice cream! They take more than 10 mins to prepare one ice cream. We ordered red velvet ice cream which tasted more like strawberry ice cream.
google avatar

Natasha S.

Yelp
Young girl at register and made our rolls was not nice. She also did not inform us of ingredients they were out of that day. It didn't even taste good. They didn't put verry much ingredients in and just the taste itself wasn't good. Would not recommend.
google avatar

P. M.

Yelp
This is the best yummy, entertaining and fun dessert. You select the ingredients and the employees make your personalized dessert materialize right before your eyes. The process makes the individual ingredients come together in the most wonderful, delicious way. Since there are only two stations consider your timing carefully. You don't want to make this experience stressful.
google avatar

Mike A.

Yelp
OMG!!!! This ice cream shop is the bomb. A most if you're in old San Juan. I don't want to writ a lot because you just have to go. My wife, my daughter and myself all LOVED, LOVED, IT! Just go and do your tastebuds a massive favor.

Yelp
My kiddo had been dying to try rolled ice cream. While on a cruise visiting Old San Juan, we ran across Himalaya Ice Company. Went in and were met with the friendly staff behind the counter. Ordered the Chocolate Overload. Excellent!! Will definitely stop by here again on our next visit to San Juan.

Valeria A.

Yelp
This. Is. The. Best. Ice. Cream. I've. Ever. Had. It was amazing!!! I ordered the TESLA Rolls, and simply, wow. The price was a bit steep but overall reasonable, you get a huge portion of ice cream and the localle is air conditioned and in beautiful condition. There is something for everyone! I would recommend adding a vanilla type option, maybe just have some vanilla extract available for vanilla lovers. All in all, fantastic place and I hope many visiting the area give it a try!!
google avatar

Ashwin D.

Yelp
Its alright. Its quite the show, but the ice cream itself is pretty OK. My wife tried the Chocolate one. Its more of an experience than a delicious ice cream.
google avatar

Dana B.

Yelp
Himalayan Ice Co was a great stop for ice cream in Old San Juan. It was fascinating to watch them make the ice cream rolls, they start everything by mashing your ice cream flavor into a milk like mixture (for me that was pineapple and coconut) which they then spread really thin and use a scraper to create rolls which can be topped with various toppings and syrups. I had their Pina Colada flavor and my husband had Red Wedding (has red velvet cake). Both were very good. They have about 8 pre-made flavors and you can also create your own. Price ranges from $6 to 8. It is a little slow but that is due to the process of making each creation from scratch, all the employees were really friendly so it wasn't bad to wait.
