I stumbled upon the most adorable café! Not only were the coffees absolutely delicious, but each cup was topped with the cutest character designs, almost too pretty to drink, but I did, and wow, so worth it. The baristas were super kind and polite, adding even more warmth to the experience. It felt like sipping happiness in a cup. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
the CUTEST latte art ever. I usually have iced drinks but I needed to get a hot one for this masterpiece. It’s for dine-in only though! I got the matcha latte and it was soo yum! The place is very cute but not much seating. They play nice jazzy or instrumental music (very relaxing). No wifi since they encourage conservations yay!! The baristas are also super nice and of course talented! I will definitely be coming back

Google
Cutest coffee shop ever! As soon as we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised with the cute decor, and amazing smell. Our ordered came quickly, with the cutest art on it! You are able to request what design you want, if not they’ll give you something cute, like what they gave us. The matcha was nice, but I have definitely have had stronger. Definitely will come back!

This cafe is a gem in the area with their super cute latte arts, and their beautiful and cozy little place. I recommend the almond croissants, they are very good as they are not overly sweet and are filled with lots of frangipane!

Google
Fantastic food and drink, friendly staff, and cute, interesting decor. We enjoyed the cortado (not on the menu), butter tea, blueberry scone, and almond croissant. The pastries were served nice and warm. We came back again the next day. My boyfriend enjoyed his milk tea and his cheddar and chive scone. I had another wonderful almond croissant and cortado, and also a delicious pecan square.

This place has become my favourite already! Came across this midtown gem known for its unbelievably cute custom latte art and I can say I will be visiting often. Just upon entering I was greeted warmly by the staff and the interior was charming - with cute messages drawn on canvasses, it really gave a very warm feeling. I ordered their cafe mocha latte (confirmed it came with the latte art - that was important!), and their shredded chicken naan panini. Food and coffee were ready in 5 minutes and I was OBSESSED with the latte art that the barista surprised me with. It took me a lot of mental strength to actually ruin the art and drink the coffee. 🥲 But the coffee was so delicious that it actually made up for it! It was a rich taste of coffee and dark chocolate and tasted divine! Oh and the panini? Delicious! Perfect balance of chicken, greens, tomato and a flavourful sauce packed with yumminess. I am going to be back for more!

Google
Very cute little coffee shop. The sweets all looked amazing (they have a lot of choices like carrot cake, pecan bars, croissants, cookies, and more). I ordered a butter tea because it sounded interesting. It was quite salty but I added some sugar to it and liked the sweet + salty combo. It was very rich! I also tried the shredded chicken naan panini and it was delicious. It exceeded my expectations. It has tomatoes, spinach, and a mayo based sauce and came with a spicy salsa-like condiment on the side. It was really tasty and filling! Seating is limited but I was able to join a communal table and get some work done. Note that there is no wifi but you can connect to the neighbour's wifi without issue ;)

Google
A cozy little coffee shop with a warm and welcoming vibe. The staff here are friendly. The coffee is great, and they have some nice pastries to go with it. The only reason for not giving five stars is that seating can be a bit limited during busy times.

Yelp
Very cute latte art. I got the hojicha vanilla latte, but the ratio of milk was a lot more than hojicha. It wasn't strong enough. The drink was also very sweet. Good and friendly customer service. It was nice to try for the experience of the cute latte art, but I wouldn't come here if you're looking for stronger drinks.

Melanie N.

Yelp
Decided to give this place a try because they have cute latte art. My family ordered the Matcha Latte and Tumeric Lattes. Only certain lattes come with the detailed latte art so be sure to inquire about which ones I was also informed that they don't do latte art from 11:30 to 12:30 on the weekdays since that is lunch rush and they usually get pretty busy during that time due to them being located near a school (they did say they do. Latte art all day on the weekends though!) Service was swift and the girls working were very nice. The downside was that the location was super super small, maybe only about 12-14 seats available inside. It can feel very very cramped very fast. We were fortunate to have gone at a downtime and had a few seats available for us to dine in. It is located in downtown so parking can be pretty difficult. We were fortunate enough to find parking in a nearby neighborhood that had free one hour parking from 8 AM to 6 PM.

Selena C.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop in Midtown. Probably my favourite because the coffee is good, it's got a great vibe and small seating, but it's the latte art that is the cutest. Considering the price point and how comparable it is to other coffee shops down the road or even in Toronto in general, this place is well worth it. Small shop but service is already great and there's even water you can hell yourself to at the front. Baristas are clearly very talented here with their artistic abilities. A great place to pop by rain or shine or snow. Neighbourhood gem

Victoria S.

Yelp
Happy to finally try this place. Got their cold hojicha latte and it was very refreshing on a hot summer day. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions and the ambiance inside the coffee shop was eclectic - gives off a very homey and inviting vibe. Would love to come back with a friend to hang out, play a board game or read a book. I've also tried their momos (dumplings) at their other location just up the road (10 min walk), they are delicious!

Edwin Y.

Yelp
So quiet and quaint. This unassuming cafe is serving some seriously delicious drinks. The artwork doesn't added to the total package. It's a small but relaxing cafe where people enjoy a rest or power up for work. I haven't tried the food but the drinks you can't go wrong.

Lel W.

Yelp
The coffee house is actually not as spacious as I expected and it's always packed with customers, yet it feels cozy. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Could be a slightly slow because they are so busy (it's understandable). The coffee was quite large. Despite the cute coffee art, I'd call this cup of coffee "milk coffee" instead of a latte because I found that the proportion of milk outweighed the coffee. Not that it tasted bad, but it was milky and espresso was subtle. The Grilled cheese sandwich I had was pretty tasty. I chose provolone and added spinach. I love the homemade hot sauce.

Koji S.

Yelp
It has a niche - cute elaborate latte art - that it does very well! Matcha and pea flower (blue) are the ones to get for the deep colours. Decor/ambiance is bright and cozy.

Jenny W.

Yelp
I actually came all the way to Toronto from US just order these lattes haha. They have many flavors. We got blue matcha, hojicha, black sesame, mocha, and chai. Look at how cute the art is! It is a nice little place to sit down and chit chat or get some work done.

Stephanie N.

Yelp
Came on a weekday around 1:30-2pm and it was relatively busy. Most of the tables were filled but we were able to grab the bar stools by the shop front. Their drink menu is on the wall behind the counter where they also have some baked goods for sale. Only specific drinks come with their latte art so be sure to ask and confirm if you wanted the art! We ended up getting a blue matcha latte, houjicha latte and a normal latte. The houjicha, matcha, and one or two others are sweetened. You can get the blue matcha unsweetened. Beware the medium size is huge! Haha we were expecting the cups that were resting above the espresso machine but I think those were the regular/small size. We took a seat and they came by with the drinks soon after. Each of our drinks came with a different design! My houjicha (roasted tea) was really good but it did get a bit more sweet near the bottom. The houjicha flavour was strong.

Claire S.

Yelp
You have to visit this place! Not only do they have amazing latte art, but the drinks did not disappoint. We each got a small matcha latte which was the perfect size. There's lots of seating available which was great and the chairs were so comfy. The staff was kind and answered all of our questions about the drinks. We parked in the neighborhood across the street so parking was no problem. One thing to note about this place is that there isn't any wifi, so if you're looking to study or work here and need wifi this probably isn't the best place to do that. However, that wasn't an issue for us since we just wanted to hang out and get some good coffee. Love this place.

Gabby A.

Yelp
I loved visiting this cafe! I ordered a cheddar grilled cheese which included a red sauce and a piece of candy on the side. I really enjoyed this. I came here for the latte art! There's a specific list of drinks they can do latte art on. I ordered the small mocha cafe which was huge! I didn't request a specific design and ended up with a cute bear. It's great seeing the different designs that they can do. This spot doesn't have Wi-Fi and I think it's great. It's more of a spot for alone time, catching up on a book or to just relax and sip on coffee. Such a great cafe to check out if you are in the area. And it's right beside a lululemon if you want to do a bit of shopping.

Deseri T.

Yelp
I am so so happy I stopped by here when in the area. Because first of all how cute?? I was expecting the coffee to be sub-par because of the cuteness of it but it was actually delicious. Service was fast, and the large I got was HUGE. I went on a weekday and there were plenty of seats available, I sat at a window seat and people watched for a while. Def recommend!

Sarah H.

Yelp
This was such a cute and relaxing place to have a nice coffee or tea drink. I had scoped out this place before coming into Toronto for vacation. I decided to still come even though it was quite the trip on the metro to get here from where I was staying, and it was so worth it! I was pleasantly surprised that not only was the latte art beautiful, but the drinks were also outstanding tasting. I would definitely come here again! Everyone working here was very friendly, helpful and customer focused.

Kelsey B.

Yelp
When I come here I really really do love it - however the last couple of times I've tried to come on the weekends it has been closed. This is disappointing as I've come 5~ weekends in the past couple of months and everytime it's been closed. Wish this place would open :(

Jessica H.

Yelp
Despite it being 80°F+, I still ordered a hot latte just for the art. Service was quick so the latte was pretty hot! This gave me time to admire the art before enjoying the delicious latte.

Cherry M.

Yelp
A little bit disappointed to find out on my second visit that they no longer taking requests for coffee art. Previously, I gotten a very pretty the Little Mermaid art and my friend requested a Japanese anime character. The barista wasn't familiar with the character but asked my friend to pull up a picture on her phone for reference. The random complimentary art is still cute. The atmosphere is nice and quiet. It is a very small shop and seating is extremely limited.

Tina T.

Yelp
Small and cozy coffee shop. Definitely best to visit alone or in a a group of 2/3. They are a no-internet space, which is great when you want to unplug to chat with friends or catch up on outstanding work/journaling! But their best offering of all is probably their adorable latte art! & they offer a decent range (for non coffee drinkers like me, I was definitely glad to see they had matcha lattes, hojicha lattes, blue lattes, london fog, chai lattes...etc!!) & pricing is great- I got a size Small for $4-5 and the mug was HUGE

Amy C.

Yelp
I was looking forward to visiting this cute cafe while in Toronto! This is a great cafe to hang out in with friends! They don't have wifi so it'll be harder to do work or study at. We tried the blue matcha latte (didn't taste much like regular matcha but it was still yummy!) and the hojicha latte (was so good!). I love the cute latte arts that they do!! Theres only a selected variety of lattes that they can do art on but you can ask when you order! I'll definitely come back here to try their other items!

Sadiya J.

Yelp
Love this Cozy, brick-walled coffeehouse. It's known for their gorgeous unique instagrammable latte art, but they do also have some bakery items. The place itself is pretty small and has limited seating but it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. The vibe is very chilled out and calm but be warned if you go between 7am and 9am there is school kid traffic and they crowd the place whilst ordering their iced coffees lol Service is wonderful and friendly. Pricing is fair. And I will never get over the cute latte art. TOO CUTE!

Linda L.

Yelp
The cutest latte art in town! I would honestly come here just for the cute lattes haha They can do the latte art for any hot latte drinks but they take requests as well. If you don't specify it then they will bring out a design of their choice but they're honestly all very cute. The Hojicha latte that I got also tasted very good as well and I really like the richness of it. The shop is also air-conditioned inside so it's really nice even in the summer to hangout for a bit and enjoy a cup of hot latte

Michelle H.

Yelp
Oh my goodness, I cannot rave about this place enough! The baristas are SO TALENTED and did their absolute best to create our requests. Such artists, truly. My friend brought a picture of this green alien and although they were a bit puzzled, they came through!! Their prices are incredibly reasonable for such fantastic drinks, and although the size of the store isn't very large, they've made it so cozy and tried to put as much seating in there as possible. If you're taking pictures- which, it's damn near impossible not to by the way- the window will give you such great lighting! Not only do the drinks look out of this world, but all of them taste a m a z i n g. If you're looking for a lighter coffee taste, go for the cafe latte! Slightly stronger coffee more your thing? Hazelnut cappuccino. Tea more your thing? Blue matcha latte! I can promise you that there's definitely something for everyone here. Will be back another day on an empty stomach to try the grilled cheese! Thanks for such a great afternoon pick me up!!

Kristine V.

Yelp
The best coffee shop that ive been to!! The art latte is so cute and service is so friendly!! i wish there's one in America

Marlene H.

Yelp
Customized latte art?! Don't mind if I do! Happy National Coffee Day!! I ordered the Hojicha Latte and opted for the non-dairy milk! They also had other milk alternatives such as oat and almond but those wouldn't work well with the latte art :( One of the best lattes I've ever had! A perfect mix between the hojicha and non-dairy milk, super creamy and rich but not too sweet! They asked me what character they wanted me to make and I absolutely had to choose Snorlax, one of my favorite Pokémon! I looked at their yelp, Instagram and Google Reviews photos to help me think of possible ideas for latte art. They do so many kinds, that's pretty cool!

Emem N.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop. They make the cutest latte art ever!!! The servers are so sweet. Our lattes were delicious.

_notimetoeat -.

Yelp
I am so obsessed with this cafe, their latte art is unlike anything I've seen and they're open to suggestions as well! The staff is always very friendly, I got the blue matcha latte and it tasted warm and sweet

Courtney C.

Yelp
Been really looking forward to visiting this coffee shop after seeing all the pretty latte art on Instagram and it did not disappoint! Not only was the art pretty, the drink was reasonably priced and it was delicious! I got the blue matcha latte because I don't like sugar in my drink and this was the only latte with that option (other than the regular latte). I enjoyed every sip! I had a sip from my friend who ordered the hojicha latte, although it was tasty it was definitely too sweet for me.

Michelle N.

Yelp
I came across Himalayan Coffee House on Tiktok for the first time. Ever since, I have always dropped by whenever I'm in Canada. It's always worth the trip. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, on top of them already having great food and drinks. The employees are always so nice and welcoming. I recommend coming here for a nice detour.

Vanessa R.

Yelp
It's been well over a year since I've been here now (I don't live in the country), but I still think about their grilled cheese and tomato sauce (perfection!) all the time. I've tried to recreate it myself, and it's just never the same, so my only gripe is that I wish the order size was bigger! It's a small business, but you can feel that it has a lot of heart and that they take pride in their business. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in the area!

Sara D.

Yelp
I finally came to Himalayan Coffee House after hearing so much about, of course, their latte art. They only offer the latte art during certain hours so make sure the check this before you go. I made it just in the nick of time! Walking in this place is tiny but adorable and my date and I managed to sit at a little table. We ordered at the counter and unfortunately the latte art isn't able to be made with soy/almond milk but the barista said it can be made with lactose-free milk! The art is a surprise which makes it fun. I got an adorable pink rabbit and my date a dog. It is worth it to come here for the latte art experience. The art is just incredibly well done! I'll certainly be back to this cute coffee place.

Tania L.

Yelp
The cafe is super small, but the coffee is excellent and the latte art is super cute! I wish it was like before, where you can make requests for art, but they no longer take requests. Believe me, I tried! Was my nicest and really tried to plead... But to no avail. My friend ordered a small French Vanilla latte, while I got a hazelnut latte. My hazelnut latte was unbelievably smooth - there was quite a fair bit of froth and foam on the top, but the coffee flavour was still nicely rich. I was also happy that the latte wasn't sweet at all, but just the perfect fragrance and flavour. I got a Hello Kitty art; though cute, it wasn't my favourite. Instead, I much preferred my friend's adorable dog. The place is quite cramped, with quite a fair bit of flies. It's not the most comfortable seating arrangement, but the coffee is good enough to entice me to return again!

Jenna G.

Yelp
So yummy! Cute latte art, friendly service I definitely recommend coming here! The talent is amazing!

Michelle D.

Yelp
Came here for my friend's birthday around 1:40 which is when they serve the cute latte art (they don't do them during lunch rushes which is understandable). But for May 1st, they were dedicating the day to the victims of the Yonge and Finch incident so all latte art were candles. To see an independent coffee shop be not only aware of what happens in the local community but to also devote time and make a tribute to those who lost their lives is great to see. I got the small cafe latte with almond milk. Portion sizes are great, the medium size I saw was actually huge! So I opted for a small one. I could definitely taste the espresso shot and it was a bit stronger for me than ones I've had in the past (although one of my friends disagreed, maybe it was just my latte where the shot was pulled longer). The service was great, the baristas bring over the coffee if you're having it in house. All in all, a cute, talented, and kind establishment!

Danthanh L.

Yelp
Came in on a weekday around 10 am to grab a coffee and bite to eat because I was in the area. Ordered the naan panini with chicken and a caffe mocha in small. First of all, omg the naan panini was delicious! It was a bit dry alone but if you put in the accompanying sauce it was so yummy! Nicely filling and a hint of spiciness. Definitely recommend this dish!! For coffee, as usual the cafe art was cute. I got a bumble bee this time. I think prices are pretty fair and I would definitely come here more often if it was closer to my work.

Julie L.

Yelp
What drew me to this place was the latte art that I saw on instagram. I wanted to come here for a long time but their hours aren't convenient if you work a 9-5 job and you're not located within the vicinity. I was so stoked when I finally got a chance to go on a Saturday afternoon. There were a couple of people in line in front of me (all for take out, thank god because there was only one table left)! It's a small shop; there's not much seating and some of the seats were pretty close together. I think the couple next to me were on one of their first dates and I couldn't help but overhear the entire thing! I felt like I was intruding! Haha. The latte was great, not exceptional but it was good. I wouldn't come all the way here just for the taste but I would come again for the latte art!

Rose V.

Yelp
I found this café on Instagram because of their latte art. I immediately added this to my bookmarks. I am a sucker for latte art! I was super excited as my husband and I approached the cafe. There are pictures of different latte arts outside this café in case you don't know what to get. The cafe is small but cozy. I ordered a cafe latte with a flavor shot of french vanilla and my husband got a mocha latte. Our total was $9.25CAD ($7.47USD). Prices are so reasonable. The sizes are bigger than what you imagine. Although the barista did not know what one of my requests was but she was happy to google it and draw it. I don't know how she does it but the art comes out so beautifully! Both lattes were so delicious. We kept watching other patrons get their lattes to see their art. I highly recommend coming back to this cafe for the delicious coffee, friendly staff, and beautiful latte art. I know I will be back the next time I am in town.

Emma H.

Yelp
Dropped in here one day I was feeling particularly low and asked for something that would cheer me up. The barista was kind and proceeded to hand me a latte with the cutest cat drawn on it. It instantly put a smile on my face. Not only are they talented but the service is great and prices reasonable. I can't recommend it enough.

Maya L.

Yelp
Second time coming here with friends! The drinks are very reasonably priced and the latte art is adorable I've tried the latte and the sweet milk tea and they are both amazing! Highly recommend this place :)

Carlos P.

Yelp
This is my second home almost. This is a beautiful place, with outstanding service quality, an outwordly espresso

Catherine S.

Yelp
Best latte art ever!!! I specifically came here to check out the different latte art available and get something cute for myself while I was on vacation in Toronto. I am really loving all the cute little cafes they have in Toronto. This place was pretty lowkey and is actually called something different outside the store, something like "java" or "espresso." I can't really remember but there is "Himalayan" and there's a large amount of pictures of the different latte art that has been drawn on their drinks. The cafe itself has about 6 or 7 tables and a large communal table. I chose the communal table for the better lighting. After you order at the counter, the barista brings the drink to you. I ordered a vanilla latte and asked for pig latte art. It was literally THE CUTEST pig ever and I am so glad she does the art free of charge unlike places in SF (Elite Audio Bar) that charge for their latte art. The drink itself was also superb. What better combination of things can a cafe offer? The only down side was that they did not have wifi when I was here, but they must have had it before according to the reviews. Hopefully they get their free wifi back and then this place will be absolutely perfect!! I would definitely come back here if I come back to Toronto to visit.

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Overall 3.5 but will give it 4. Excellent service and nice people. Very polite and patient. Only had their Naan chicken panini and while it is a little small, the flavours were nice and simple. Good balance of sauce and was not heavy. Would call it a snack rather than a full meal though.

Dale J.

Yelp
A coffee shop with home roasted beans. Many non-chain shops are selling their coffee.

Amy W.

Yelp
Lovely little cafe. I've ordered the blue matcha latte, the flavour was just right. It wasn't too sweet. I made a new friend travelling from Detroit sitting beside me, he had the same thing as me. He enjoyed it aswell. The art work is random, I got a doggy artwork on mine while my new friend's Pooh was super adorable! Excellent artwork and flavour! I will be back!

Amanda H.

Yelp
I actually had a bit of a hard time finding this place. The letters are a little harder to read. One of my favourite cafes to go to. The decor is simple and cozy like you're in a friend's living room. The service was perfect, we ordered our food and it was delivered to our table. When done they will also come and clean the table right away. I do really love their coffees and lattes with cute designs on them but their smoothies aren't that great.. Also keep in mind they don't do the designs during certain hours of the day usually from 12pm-3pm due to it being so busy during the lunch rush hour. But if you order a smoothie they can still draw something quick and cute on the to-go cup. For food i've only tried two sandwiches and have yet to try their pastries. I tried the shredded chicken naan panini and wow that was amazing. Best panini i have ever had in my life! The other was the Provolone grilled cheese which was just okay. Highly recommend!

Colanie B.

Yelp
Come for the: - Amazing coffee art - Mild, smooth tasting, fair trade, organic coffee (arabica variety, mix of bourbon and typica and wet processed-from website) from the Himalayans that's served ready to drink not piping hot. - Friendly and speedy service, even when creating their works of art. - Affordable snacks and light fare. - Small but eclectic library: "The Contortionist", "The Tibetan Book of the Dead", books by Danielle Steele, Deepak Chopra, Toni Morrison and of course the Dalai Lama. - Cushy chairs to lounge in. - Books and a few toys to entertain your young one while you sip on your cup of coffee. Do yourself a favor, sit down with your beautiful cup of liquid art, grab a book and let the Nepalese music transport you to a more peaceful place Disclaimer - not a peaceful place during busy hours see tip.

Jessica H.

Yelp
This cafe has the cutest latte art! Large cup sizes as well :) Highly recommend to anyone in the area

Saida S.

Yelp
Discret little café with a nice staff. The interior is quite small. They over a lot of coffee based drinks & teas as well as smoothies. They have a diverse clientele from high school students to office employees on lunch break. The ladies at the counter were really nice we ordered the chai lattes & asked for the latte art, cheddar scone & samosas. Everything was very good and the atmosphere was nice.

Thanuja V.

Yelp
This is a great place to try at least once, at least for the well thought out latte art. Only downside is that it is small so not much seating. Very cozy.$

Tiffany O.

Yelp
When you want a not so average latte, I highly recommend coming here. The barista's latte art skills are on point. For just under $5 a cup, it's worth the trip here. There's no wifi here which means you won't find too many people hogging up seats lol. I got the mocha latte (sweetened) and it's delicious. I love this place so much!
