Hímesudvar winery

Very nice wine tasting in English with Gabor. We contacted the winery via email and got swift reply with available hours (basically two sessions per day to choose from). The tour was friendly and informative, and we also enjoyed visiting the amazing cellar. There is a cute cat which welcomed us and also bid us farewell, they even named the wine after him. Come here for good vibes, some nice bites and a wide range of wines to taste from.

I've had a fantastic wine tasting experience in this little family-owned winery. I was lucky to come just after the summer season ended, and was the only one on the tour. I visited the winery, admiring the black mold walls and aging bottles. I went to the vineyard to observe and taste the various types of grapes and beautiful sceneries. And of course the wine tasting itself was wonderful - I had time to enjoy each sip of 7 different wines in no rush. I was joined by the family cat Foltos, who has wine named after him. Highly recommended for those who want to just enjoy life in no rush.

We drove from Budapest to the Tokaj region for a wine tour. The tour and tasting at Himesudvar was amazing! Delicious wines and a beautiful vineyard. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the region

Wine cellar with garden and large indoor area. You can visit the cellar as well. They also offer a selection of dishes to accompany the wine. Not the cheapest place but one of the best in town.

Great wine tasting in a beautiful surrounding. One cannot think of a better way to spend a warm early autumn day. For every recommendation. Our hostess was great, thank you for your hospitality.

The weather wasent the greatest but our visit at Himesudvar was excellent! Super friendly, welcoming staff and exceptionally good wines! When we will revisit this region I am sure we will be back. Highly recomended!

What a fantastic place! First off, the wine is truly excellent. But the ambiance of the place makes this a great experience. You’re sitting in the shade, under a huge walnut tree in a lovely garden, sipping on some of the best wine around. It just doesn’t get better.

Had a great time at Himesudvar! They're a small family owned winery, an awesome location with historical background and, of course, great wines. The wine tasting was just as advertised. Everything was presented to ne in English and I had a wonderful time!
