My brother introduced this wonderful place to me! It was a great place to visit, despite it was very hot (since it is an outdoor location). I would recommend to visit that area by Grab, which would save you lots of hassles. No ticket was required too. This is a location where you can find many different types of interesting and pretty handmade items. They are all very uniques. I bought few favorite items there. In addition to handmade stuffs, there are stalls selling food and drinks. So it is easy to stop by to get a refreshing drinks or tasty snacks. Also, there was a live band during my visit. The vibe was very great and lots of people would sit there (there were chairs), having a beer and enjoying the lively music. It's definitely a good place to visit and grab few nice items at the same time. Will definitely revisit!

Absolutely loved this place – a true hidden gem! This spot completely exceeded my expectations and instantly became one of my favorite places to visit. It truly feels like a hidden jewel, full of creativity, color, and soul. Everywhere you look, there is beautiful street art and vibrant details that give the place a unique and inspiring character. The whole area feels lively yet relaxed, with a very special atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer and explore every corner. Most of the space is outdoors, which adds to the open and welcoming vibe. On weekends, the place really comes alive with small stalls offering handmade products, unique artwork, second-hand clothing, and creative souvenirs you won’t find anywhere else. You can tell that a lot of passion and creativity go into what people offer here. Live music is often playing, creating a warm and joyful mood that perfectly fits the surroundings. There are also several stands serving coffee, drinks, and food, making it easy to spend a few hours just enjoying the moment. Even during the week, it is absolutely worth a visit — it’s calmer but still has the same charming atmosphere. This place is perfect for anyone who loves art, creativity, and authentic local vibes. Highly recommended for a relaxed and inspiring experience!

The gift that just keeps giving. This place is magical! Used as an open art space, film venue, market, community space, workshops, activism, music etc. free toilets, lots of vendors and cafes, beautiful craft stalls at the weekends, second hand clothes, vintage stuff. Perfect place to just chill out and wander. We love it and keep coming back from across the world. It's well maintained and decorated. Make sure you explore every corner - there are hidden rooms that are exhibition spaces in places you don't expect.

We have visited twice, once for the Sunday market and yesterday for the NY market. Loved it both times. Great space and we have really enjoyed the exhibitions we have seen here. The icing on the cake has been the markets - the stalls sell high quality gifts, food, drinks and souvenirs. There’s been live music too. Everyone is so chilled, friendly and happy it’s been great. From February 2026 there will be a market here on Fridays. When we return to Georgetown next year we’ll make sure to visit again.

Love the vibes. Very nice flea market. Bought stickers and knitted Keychains to support local artists. There is also live singing performances. Lots of interesting knick knocks, vintage stuff and clothes. Many interesting food stalls as well. Worth a visit on a Sunday.

Love how they turned this place into something useful and unique. Local artists get their chance to showcase their artworks here. You will be able to find many food, drinks, crafts and many more uniquely local brands during the weekends. Outdoor live performance was great too. Is a place for people to chill during the weekends. To celebrate the uniqueness.

Love the vibe! Glad we managed to catch the first Saturday market of 2026! Great variety of merchandise, thrift, food and beverages. Live band music was excellent too. Check out their IG account for themed markets each weekend.

When we first entered this old bus station, the environment was really nostalgic. The architecture and interior brought back memories. Plenty of activities here in this Market/Bazaar. Many local artisans sell their creations here, such as handmade skincare, hair accessories, painting and many more. We also had the chance to savour delicious home baked cookies, artisan coffee, juices and the list continues. At the entrance, there was an art exhibition, featuring art drawn with coloured pencils. Art is available for purchase. Also, the busker (a young lady, I forgot her name) deserves a big mention here. Her vocals were superb. I am not sure if this market is permanent or seasonal.

Located in Jalan Gurdwara in Penang's infamous George Town, Hin Bus depot is or was exactly what it claims to be. It is a former bus depot that has been converted into an unlikely art space that hosts a number of conceptual art exhibitions and screenings. It started out as host to graffiti artist Ernest Zacharevic's first solo exhibition entitled "Art is Rubbish" and you can still check out the murals from his exhibition on display today amidst the centre's colonial, art deco stylings. What I really dig about this place is the fact that it does a good job at preserving the cultural heritage of the building and its support of the local arts scene. It's a great place for culture vultures and an interesting alternative spot to bring visitors after a day of café trawling and infamous street food hunting
