Hinokicho Park

Pleasant park in the Tokyo Midtown development. Not particularly large, but good for strolling around. Pond with some flowing water, a small area for basketball, a larger grassy area, some places to sit. Gets very busy at the weekends, but not an unpleasant place to take a walk. And of course plenty to do within a short walking distance.

Not only is the park beautiful, but even the walk there is filled with lovely scenery. A great place for a relaxing stroll.

Beautiful, quiet park with a pond and a few running streams along a peaceful walking path. Lovely place to see some nature. Has clean washrooms and is mostly accessible.

I stumbled upon this park in Roppongi. It was so calm and peaceful. Everyone was staring at the mini waterfalls in the pond.

Tokyo, Roppongi. March 2024. This is a serene getaway from the bustle of Roppongi. The park is adjacent to and seemlessly blends into Tokyo Midown Gardens. The area once held a secondary residence for The Mori family, of the Hagi Clan in Kansai. If you think you've heard the name it's because a lot of Roppongi including Tokyo Midtown and Roppongi Hills, parts of Toranomon, and the new Azabudai Hills have been shaped by the family's development company. The area was once covered in so many Japanese cypress trees it was known as Hinoki Yashiki. Today the area has been redeveloped by the Minato Ward. Although it is adjacent to Roppongi, the park is actually considered a part of Akasaka. The park is dominated by a restored pond fed by a cascading small stream and best sitting at a replica teahouse-like structure at the pond's edge. This is also a great area for children with play equipment that blends in as art sculptures. One part has winding paths through trees and flora, including sakura. Another part is more lawn-like for people to spread out and enjoy. Unless you take the time to walk out of the Midtown complex you would never see the small park for it's depth and beauty.

Cool little park on the way to the mall. There are a lot of families here and a lot of people having lunch on the grass. Next to the park you will find a large glass sky scraper where many people go to work. I think it is a nice way to get away from the office mid day don't you think?

Really close to Tokyo Midtown District and Roppongi. Be careful if you have any allergies that I do or get bit by bugs easily, this place is full of bugs. I had to take my allergy medication because it got really bad. The best thing about this place is the waterfall and the large body of water in the middle of the park. The park isn't that big but it's a little nice walk to kill the time if you want to just stroll around. The mall is up the street from this park as well.

A beautiful park! A huge lawn space - to picnic, to run, to play with a ball...etc... Four play structures for children to play including a slide and a swing. You do need to be extra careful on the slide because it is very high and the stairs to climb up can be steep for young children. My son is currently 2 years old and he's still a bit fearful when he goes down the slide, BUT he keeps wanting to slide down over and over. LOL Theres a small fountain where children can get wet and wade in the water. Also, there's a small basketball court also - first come, first served! Next to the big lawn space is a small pond where you can walk around or sit on a bench and relax. Dogs are allowed in the park but you must keep the leash on the dog. There are many seasonal happenings at this park so visit frequently!

Came here to release some stress and be in nature. Walked around and I quite enjoyed this park. Wasn't overcrowded, but many families there enjoying time together.
