Very central Hotel directly in the old town. Lively neighborhood which makes it also a bid noisy. Would recommend to upgrade from the standard room, there is a newer part of the Hotel in the backside, likely isn't that noisy there. Otherwise it was just perfect for a short stay to evalute the old town. Breakfast is is given in terms of vouchers for 3 partner restaurants in the direct neighborhood. Works fine and gives some alternatives. Secured Parking is available and free of charge. All stuff was very friendly and helpful.

Thank you fellow travelers for suggesting this hotel! What a great find! We only had the pleasure of being there for one night. We had one night on our own before our tour African safari package started and the tour would start at the chic-chic Mt. Nelson a couple blocks away. Knowing that we just needed a place to rest our heads and at nearly 1/8 of the price for one night - I was hoping that this would be an affordable option. We didn't arrive at the hotel until nearly 9 pm after a 15 hour direct flight from Atlanta. ||As other reviewers had noted, request a room facing the back of the property. Sure it's not a pretty view of the parking lot but the busy street was buffered by it's location on the back of the property. ||It was only a short 20-25 minute drive from the airport. As our driver dropped us off, I was worried because there was so much night life and we were all very tired. Look for the entrance and get buzzed in. The only "complaint" I had was there was no lift/elevator on the first floor. The reception desk was on the second floor and so was our room. Perhaps there was a miscommunication as the front office clerk was very busy checking in multiple guests as he stated that the driver should have delivered us to the back of the property where there is a lift. The problem was that we arrived so late at night and he did not offer to take our bags up the long flight of stairs. It was remedied upon check out as there was more staff and they helped up schlep out bags down.||The room was super spacious just like the photos of other reviewers had posted. Our room had a frameless shower, large bathtub and double sinks. I could never figure out how to turn on the towel warmer but that was okay. The room was spacious with a bar, safe, closet, king sized bed, desk and sofa. Sorry I didn't get any pictures. Did I remind you that it was a 15+ hour flight?||They offered vouchers for breakfast at one of three locations. We opted for Therapy which is literally across the street and a few buildings away. ||Ubers are inexpensive so we opted for one to the next hotel. Beware that I ordered a comfort plus stating that it seats 4 people with luggage but the car was really a subcompact for American standards so we ended up ordering 2 cars. The street was narrow and I felt for our driver navigating it to turn around but he was a trooper. ||I would not hesitate to stay there again!

We stayed here for two nights. The room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and courteous. It does get a bit noisy at night due to nearby establishments. However, given the central location, it’s somewhat expected. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Would definitely stay there again. Only thing to keep in mind is that there is no lift. Heavy luggage will be an issue with bringing up and down.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my wife. Location is excellent in the buzzy Kloof St area with lots of bars and restaurants. Felt safe to walk around both daytime and evening. The breakfast in a local cafe concept is good but there are only 2 choices, not the 4 on the website. Egghead was our favourite. Hotel is generally good but some details stop it quite being the boutique experience it's trying to sell itself as. Service was a bit mixed, mostly lovely helpful people, some a bit too busy to actually do serving customers. Our executive suite was a lovely duplex space with huge windows, giant comfy bed and great amenities like the coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher, TV with dstv etc. Great to have a seating area as well as the kitchen and their were nice pieces of art as well. Cheap secure parking was a bonus too. However it only has a view of the Lions Head if you lean out and look left (other rooms may be better), the key card failed twice, the safe constantly showed low battery signs even after the battery was changed and the shower is straight out of a council leisure centre changing room. Really needs an upgrade to something more in keeping with their ambitions. The open plan bathroom is ok as a thing but replace the bath with a big shower space with frosted glass surrounds and a rainwater shower head or it just looks unfinished. Temper your expectations and you'll have a great time here.

Just finished a 3 night stay here and enjoyed the time from when the hotel arranged the airport pick to the late check out after a last minute trip up Table Mountain due to a couple of days bad weather. Great breakfast options we loved Eggheads . Would stay again
