Thank you fellow travelers for suggesting this hotel! What a great find! We only had the pleasure of being there for one night. We had one night on our own before our tour African safari package started and the tour would start at the chic-chic Mt. Nelson a couple blocks away. Knowing that we just needed a place to rest our heads and at nearly 1/8 of the price for one night - I was hoping that this would be an affordable option. We didn't arrive at the hotel until nearly 9 pm after a 15 hour direct flight from Atlanta. ||As other reviewers had noted, request a room facing the back of the property. Sure it's not a pretty view of the parking lot but the busy street was buffered by it's location on the back of the property. ||It was only a short 20-25 minute drive from the airport. As our driver dropped us off, I was worried because there was so much night life and we were all very tired. Look for the entrance and get buzzed in. The only "complaint" I had was there was no lift/elevator on the first floor. The reception desk was on the second floor and so was our room. Perhaps there was a miscommunication as the front office clerk was very busy checking in multiple guests as he stated that the driver should have delivered us to the back of the property where there is a lift. The problem was that we arrived so late at night and he did not offer to take our bags up the long flight of stairs. It was remedied upon check out as there was more staff and they helped up schlep out bags down.||The room was super spacious just like the photos of other reviewers had posted. Our room had a frameless shower, large bathtub and double sinks. I could never figure out how to turn on the towel warmer but that was okay. The room was spacious with a bar, safe, closet, king sized bed, desk and sofa. Sorry I didn't get any pictures. Did I remind you that it was a 15+ hour flight?||They offered vouchers for breakfast at one of three locations. We opted for Therapy which is literally across the street and a few buildings away. ||Ubers are inexpensive so we opted for one to the next hotel. Beware that I ordered a comfort plus stating that it seats 4 people with luggage but the car was really a subcompact for American standards so we ended up ordering 2 cars. The street was narrow and I felt for our driver navigating it to turn around but he was a trooper. ||I would not hesitate to stay there again!
