Hippo Boutique Hotel

What a wonderful 5 nights we had at Hippo Boutique Hotel. Perfectly located with a short Uber ride to the waterfront, and/or walk to the hop on hop off bus and Bo Kaap. Hotel room had everything you required and were very spacious. Rooms kept immaculate by housekeeping. Front desk team were superstars with particular mention to Karen and Allan who made pur stay extra special. Nothing ever a problem and always so hospitable. |This area has lots of lovely eating places within walking distance and right next door is a fab restaurant called Therapy, where you can also have breakfast. |You feel very safe and I would highly recommend staying here if you want great accommodation, excellent service and a fabulous convenient location.

Such a wonderful property. Love the cozy rooms and big TVs - perfect for long and short stays. The rooms are clean and so spacious, equipped with amenities. Their executive apartment is the best - two floors and an open bath! They also have utensils, microwave & bar fridge. For breakfast they provide a coupon that can be availed at the nearby restaurants. The hotel location is 10 min walk from hop-on-hop-off bus stop and is surrounded by many shops, restaurants, cafes. great hospitality and wonderful staff. Highly recommend a stay here. Best for exploring the Mother City!

As a returning guest, once again the experience was great! All front desk staff are helpful and friendly, they go above and beyond. The cleaning staff is amazing as well. The beds are comfortable. Although you would think it would be noisy with the busy surrounding businesses, you cannot hear any outside noise at night! The location is the best! Very walkable and tons of food options near by. I highly reccomend the hippo to any any and all travelers!

I was here for almost a week. It is a very clean place. The room was cozy and spacious. A number of restaurants around for dining options. For breakfast the give vouchers and you can choose from 3 different restaurants. I am pretty sure I will be back.

I had a spacious, cozy and bright room with a balcony overlooking the street in front of the hotel. The hotel is pretty good, it's location is also nice -next to the best area in town with lots of restaurants, cafes, bars nd shops. I haven't encountered anything negative during my stay there, everything was good or very good at the hotel. The only inconvenience is the lack of elevator but that's a minor issue.

Hotel exceeded my expectations. Great part of town with ample secure parking. Rooms were very comfortable and I loved the kitchenette in our room.

Got upgraded to a top floor penthouse room. Over 2 levels with beautiful deep bath in the bedroom. Small kitchen in room with fridge and safe. Bed was so comfy|Vouchers given for breakfast at local restaurants. |Onsite parking |Staff happy to help with luggage |Lift to rooms from car park

We were welcomed very friendly at reception.|We got a comp upgrade to a delux room even thoughit was our first visit.|Rooms are clean and everything was working.|Nice soft bed.|Shower has nice strong water.|Bathroom clean.|We will definately return.|Its a gem in Cape Town
