We ate in the hotel's beautiful restaurant terrace overlooking the harbour twice during our stay in Kotor. The food was lovely and the service fantastic. We were served by a waiter known as 'Tattoo' who was polite, professional, helpful and very friendly. We had a couple of lovely chats with him about living in Montenegro and Kotor. Would highly recommend.

Our family had 2 rooms for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our stay! The location couldn't be better. We loved having a balcony (2nd floor) and hearing the church bells ring. It was also fun to people watch away from the crowds. And even though it's in a busy square (and we were there on a weekend) the windows really blocked the sound from below. The real plus, however, is the staff. Everyone we came in contact with was so nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was huge with so many offerings and the staff at breakfast were all lovely and ready to jump in and help at a moments notice. We enjoyed eating outside on the breakfast terrace. We would stay there again!

First off, I don't often leave reviews except when warranted. ||So first, the good part: the location is terrific for visiting Kotor and, if you arrive by car, there is help to/from the parking via golf cart (pretty far away). Breakfast is ok, not great.||That said, our stay was very disappointing. At the price point, we expected a lot more.||Here are the details. you decide:||My wife has issues with mobility and we asked for a room as easily accessible as possible with few stairs if possible. Our room had no elevator access and required numerous flights of stairs.||Aside form that, the room itself smelled of mold because of standing water in the carpet from the AC unit. Had to wear sandals to get in or out of bed due to the water. Since we arrived on a Sunday, there was no one to tend to this and no other rooms were available. My wife slept in the bathroom and the AC wasn't working well enough to help with the heatwave (35 plus degrees) -- miserable night. ||On Monday, we were told it was taken care of while we were out. It wasn't. The AC was working slightly better, but the wet carpet and mold smell were still present. Just masked by a heavy dose of perfume spray or something by the hotel.||They offered to move us for our second night but we would have to move again for our third night because they needed the room they would give us for night 2. As we were doing day trips and celebrating a birthday, we passed on the offer. Financial comp was offered and then quickly taken back as "there's nothing else we can do".||The third day was a bit better as we dried the carpet best we could with towels and left the balcony door open to air out the room. The hotel then offered dinner in their restaurant as compensation for the inconvenience. As we were leaving for dinner for which we had reservations.||Unfortunately, in the main square just below our balcony, there was a big concert (call it a rock or pop concert) that night put on by the government we were told, until after midnight. So we had to close the door to the balcony or we couldn't hear ourselves speak to each other. Not complaining about the concert, but would have been good to know that was on the calendar when we got there. Anyway, that turned into another rough night's rest.||At checkout, nothing. No mention of anything. Just asked what we took from the minibar and making sure the parking fees were on our bill. ||In short, over 900€ for 3 nights in Kotor. This was the only place we stayed on our trip through Montenegro, Bosnia and Croatia, that was below par and really not worth the excessive price.

This hotel is perfectly positioned overlooking the old square in Kotor if you pay for a room with a balcony but it also has some shortcomings. When we arrived the elevator was out and there was no-one to help us carry out bags up to the top floor. The room was small and dark and the air-conditioning in the room was too weak to match the hot day. The staff were not interested in customer service. For the price this hotel should offer more than just a good view.

Pros: wonderful location, good breakfast Cons: stayed in two different rooms, both of which didn't have a working air conditioner - in 35 degree weather. Hotel couldn't even offer a fan. It was unbearable.

Nice location but place has strong pros and cons The decor of the room is a bit gawdy. One can keep hearing many sounds and noise including the time bell which can be disturbing. Food was just ok. Tres lychee dessert was good. But service of staff was very good. Good thing is it’s in the old city and easy to go around. Nice view from the room balcony So take your pic accordingly

Not about the hotel but the restaurant. Came here for breakfast and after waiting for 15 minutes for a waiter to appear decided to just take a coffee and go somewhere else, and the place was not even busy. The coffee was not bad (double the price tho, even for Kotor), the menu book looked all greasy and not inviting to even touch it, blasting pop music, beggars coming to everyone and being completely ignored by the staff. So, definitely not the atmosphere you’d expect at a “boutique hotel”, some roadside kafanas are more pleasant than this.

I have been told that it has the longest terasse in the Adriatic coast and that it used to be the Napoleonian Theatre during french rule. Great place, staff and food
