Definitely a unique place to visit. Unfortunately everything was already closed for the day when we got there but the views and history were still great. We did get to see the guys driving the car boats so that was fun. We got through it in maybe two minutes again only because shops were closing or closed. The town is cute with lots of other surround shops. It's worth the drive.

Finally, I had a chance to visit. It was a very cute place with lots of little shops and a few restaurants. It's not very big so you can walk it in an hour or so, unless you eat at a restaurant. I would recommend visiting at least once.

Superb location and I love seeing the old buildings still being used. The traders are awesome, friendly, and accommodating as the day we were there it was raining and they were quite happy for us to step in a stay dry, of course also taking a look at what they were selling. Parking was easy although to use the main car park you have to pay, but, if you are lucky there are a few places you can park for free. A very photogenic place even in bad weather with plenty of cafe's, bars restaurants etc so for sure defo worth a trip out to take a look around.

Beautiful little historic town to visit for any age. My family spent the whole day here visiting all the shops, dining at Rick’s, beaching, rock hunting, and watching all the fish charters mount their fishes! Arrived before 11am and was able to get a prime parking spot by the shops.

I would recommend visiting Leland at least once. Social media made this town seem like a must-see attraction (and perhaps it is the case when there are heavy rains). In reality, this town was beautiful and had unique characteristics you can’t see elsewhere. However, the town is very tiny, it has a small quantity of shops/restaurants, it can be completed in ten minutes, and everything seemed so expensive. I would stop here if driving the M22 highway!

🌇Cute little town -2-3 places to eat -Ice cream -A few t shirt shops -Fishing charter -And a small water front -About 30 min from sleeping Bear dunes 🚗Parking was fairly easy but recommend viewing options before on Google. During the peak of the day it can get tricky. A lot of traffic but not a lot of places to hang out or figure out what everyone wants to do/see. Trees offer nice shade in the summer but everyplace else is in the hot sun. 🗺️We toured the place within 30 minutes then hung out in the park shade with our pup while trying to see what else we could do there but after another quick walk around we left. 🐕‍🦺Wasn't very dog friendly. 👨‍👨‍👧‍👧 wasn't very kid friendly either But they did have public bathrooms. 🍦The line for ice cream was out the door but I guess waiting is part of the experience.

Quaint little area. Lots of people were taking fishing charters from here. My wife and I enjoyed some smoked salmon, cheese and crackers as well as some excellent coffee we purchased on site. Many of the shops had unique items.
