"Hikers love to visit the Flume Gorge and waterfall for its wondrous beauty: rock formations, brooks and walls of natural granite that formed over 200 million years ago. While there, you'll have to stop to admire the some man-made beauty, the bright red pedestrian bridge cutting a path over the Pemigewasset River." - Travel + Leisure Editors
Winter wonderland! The iconic red covered bridge stands out against the snowy forest! Such a peaceful & beautiful hike to see this in the snow!

A very nice covered bridge that you walk through at the beginning of the Flume Gorge hike.

A good looking and well maintained covered bridge with good views. There is a sidewalk on one side. The inside is for vehicle traffic only, which I can understand but is a bit of a disappointment.
I was told this covered bridge is on the State register of Covered Bridges.

Pretty cool boardwalk to the falls but very overpriced. It cost over $100 for my young family to go. We are from the Pacific Northwest where almost all of our hiking is free on public lands so I think our standards are different from the locals.

1: I think it’s little pricey but good looking bridge especially in the fall
2: Cannot walk across the bridge though
