A historic gem, Hotel Albrici boasts centuries-old architecture that has been thoughtfully refurbished to meet modern comfort standards. While originally designed without in-room bathrooms, the renovations have ensured a functional stay with the necessary amenities. The atmosphere is charming, though the unused backyard presents a missed opportunity for added relaxation space.
Rooms are basic yet sufficient, providing a comfortable stay. The service was attentive and welcoming, though lack of prior notice regarding concerts held right in front of the hotel led to mixed experiences. While one evening allowed for an enjoyable moment with '77 Bombay Street', the post-event teardown noise throughout the night on the second occasion proved disruptive.
The dining experience was enjoyable, featuring local specialties. The breakfast offering was unremarkable and could become repetitive for longer stays. However, great pricing with the hotel card made the stay an excellent value overall.
A charming stay with historical appeal, good service, and solid value, but better communication on events and some menu improvements could enhance the experience further.
