Staying here was a real pleasure. The owner was the kindest and most helpful person ever. She had recommendations for so many great food places and sights to see, keeping it local and not touristy. The rooms were functional and clean and the courtyard is locked with a gate and pin code. Location is only 15 minute walk to the French Quarter or the jazz bars on Frenchman street and heaps of good food. Will 100% come back here next time I'm in New Orleans. Thanks Mama!

This place is awesome! I only stayed for one night on my way through New Orleans but I’ll definitely be back. Staff was super friendly and accommodating! Room was clean and A/C was cold. Location was good we walked to bourbon street. I wish there was breakfast but for the price didn’t expect it. Again big thanks to the Staff!

It’s an older hotel so there’s always little things to revamp here and there, BUT it was 110% worth the stay. The staff were all super kind and helpful, the room was clean and cute, it was really close to activities without being dead center of all the commotion, and the courtyard space was so cool.

Do not expect a five star stay at that historical place - expect a decent hotel, with one or other "discrepancies". The staff was at the check in and on the check out - verry verry friendly, already given some informations, about places to go and what is not worth to go. The room cleaness - was okay - the Hotel itself, they know, that they cannot - and i think they don´t want to match with big groups. A big advantage is a free parking space at the road, the Hotel itself, was quiet during night! Close to the Hotel - there is a starbucks coffee for breakfast . All in All - if you want to stay - as it was in former times - stay there.

I came to New Orleans with my partner for Spring Break and I have no felt so welcomed by a hotel staff. From the minute we got here they have treated us like family, especially Sean and Jasmine. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard and it is only a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter. Highly recommended to anyone looking to visit New Orleans!

My fiancé and I visited New Orleans and the room at this hotel was smelly and on top of that the room looked nothing like the picture online. Secondly, even though we never stayed there they never refunded me for the room even though we didn’t stay there. Travelers Pl EASE never stay here they will take your money and then blame it on the bank and I have reported this place to the BBB. Don’t waste your time about booking this dump.

The room is clean, the folks who run it are great. Not sure what other places are like this close to the French Quarter, but this is historical and quaint. It’s quiet and on the outskirts of the French Quarter and an easy walk to the action. We paid a lot because of the Super Bowl, so it wasn’t worth the money we paid.

Courtyard was beautiful but it was one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in. No A/C. No hot water. Room reeked of mildew. Literal roach crawling up the walls. Just not good.
