Historic Newfield Covered Bridge

I imagined that the bridge would be pretty spectacular but what I wasn't prepared for was just how wonderful the people of Newfield were. A very special thank you to Steve who was so welcoming and very knowledgeable about the history of his small town and we were very grateful to have met him during our visit. We absolutely recommend that everyone gets a chance to drive across the legendary Newfield covered bridge.

A quick visit to the historic covered bridge in Newfield, NY is well worth it. The craftsmanship and timeless design of this bridge are truly impressive, offering a glimpse into the past. It’s a charming and awe-inspiring piece of history that’s perfect for a brief stop and some great photos.

It's a bridge. It looks exactly like picture. There is a little parking area and a nice restaurant within walking distance. You can't make a full excursion of it, but you should make a stop if you're passing through.

Very cool roadside attraction. Lovely functional covered bridge. Parking area for about 2 cars. There is a small viewing area next to the parking area. A great stop to stretch your legs on your road trip!

This is a beautiful, and wonderfully accessible covered bridge, with a perfectly decent pizza shop to eat at. We enjoyed the access and the pretty waterfall near the bridge

There are not many covered bridges left especially this old nice place to visit there is a place to park.

Love seeing the covered bridge. I have visited Newfield for over 50 years and it is always a favorite stop of mine. So glad to see it's being well maintained
