Cannot recommend this lovely inn enough! It is truly an oasis of calm and tranquility in the middle of a traditional Hawaiian Wailuku Neighbourhood. It has all of the charm and ambience of old Hawaii with all the modern amenities of today and a beautiful breakfast to boot! This is a true gem in Maui accommodations, especially if huge resorts ( and price tags) are not your vibe.

A really wonderful B&B. The room was big and super comfortable and the breakfast everyday was different and delicious. The staff we saw were all super friendly but it’s not a manned hotel which worked well for us. Wailuku is a great central place to stay in Maui to access all the different places to see. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a base to go out and explore from.

I would give this 10 stars if I could!!!!! Absolutely gorgeous-5 star resort type experience. Beautiful furniture, luxurious linens, comfy bed. All seems very new but in a historic sense-furniture reminded me of captains quarters on old sailing vessel. Nice AC, gorgeous shower. Breakfast was delicious-gardens and grounds beautifully maintained. Orchid and blooming trees of all kinds. Very thoughtfully Arranged and organized. They even had a carafe of water waiting for us. And the coffee makers were actual Keurig with recognizable brands for the k- cups. If we go back to Maui, I will consider staying there, regardless of where we travel on the island. It is worth a visit back in and of itself.

Absolutely the best stay we had on Maui! The communication was amazing, the historic inn, grounds, rooms etc. were immaculate and the breakfast and staff was fabulous. They made sure everything was just right for our stay. It was the perfect way to celebrate our 25th anniversary and we are so glad we picked this place. We can’t wait to come back here again!

Loved my stay at the Historic Wailuku Inn. It is a lightly hosted property, with hosts and staff available, but in the background (just call or text if you need them and don't see them). It is peaceful and well located. The property, common rooms, and guestrooms are beautiful. I will return.

The stay was just ok. This place is essentially a "luxury airbnb". I'm not sure I would have paid as much as we did if I knew the situation. When we arrived, there was no one around. We couldn't figure out where to go or how to get in. We called a number posted outside and were given instructions on how to get in with a door code. The rest of the information about the property we found online. It also took contacting the manager to get the wifi password. We never got a "stay guide" Our car got hit in the parking lot. Management couldn't find out who did it on the cameras out front. Additionally, our patio was under construction through our entire stay. Early morning hammering with people right outside the room all week wasn't ideal. The walls are paper thin so you'll hear everything. This matches most of the other feedback - our room was nice. The breakfast and cleaning staff were so lovely! I wouldn't stay again but it was an ok find. I hope they improve the guest experience soon.

We stayed in the Hinano Suite and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The room is beautifully decorated, the bathroom is gorgeous, and the little touches with the amenities, the snacks, the special neroli scent and the BREAKFAST! Best breakfast in town! Mahalo chef Nolan for hooking it up every morning. Breakfast, on the porch, before starting the day👌🏾

Stayed at the Puakenikeni Suite with my husband for a night. We enjoyed the easy self check-in process, and our time exploring the permises. The suite was clean and well equipped for our stay. The management team provided all necessary info prior to our stay. The only thing I would say was a bit underwhelmed was the chef-prepared breakfast. Didn’t quite match the photo nor the description on the website. Overall we had a wonderful experience there and would recommend the inn if you’re looking for an unique experience and staying at a historic inn.
