If 3 stars on Google is meant for a back alley dumpster, then sure — 3 stars. But for a hotel? Half a star, generously. This place is run down, barely clean, broken lights, a toilet that refuses to flush, doors don’t shut, and a shortage of both pillows and dignity. The walls are PAPER THIN. Windows don’t seal and you’ll be awake every time a dog barks. The breakfast? Let’s just say it made instant noodles look gourmet. The whole place is in desperate need of a makeover. The room is literally falling apart. Nothing’s been updated or fixed, including the furniture, the plumbing, and the standards. The staff was kind and the location is convenient, but unfortunately the room was in very poor condition and really needs maintenance. With some updates, this place could be much better.

I really don't know how this hotel can receive these positive reviews. I went one night and was enough to say that this hotel is terrible. I travelled 11 days in Salvador and around. And this is the worst place I have been. The room was super small and claustrophobic. It was even hard to move inside. The floor was not clean. There was a small window but I could not open it because it was positioned under other people's AC so the noise was unbearable. The AC is on your head so you can sleep with it ok if u do not want to wake up with a flu. And when you turn it off the room is extremely hot. It was very hard to get asleep because of the noise. |Plus, I had to ask to change my towels cause they were dirty and very old. When I went to change it they gave me immediately closed towels in plastic which were better but still there were weird signs on them. I guess they have to invest and buy new ones. Overall I did not even like much the breakfast. It was ok. But nothing wow. overall the hotel is super fatiscent. |I booked through booking but they referred me to the site of the hotel. And I m sure it was because they were aware of the room poor standard and they did not want me to review it badly.

The hotel is perfectly located: in front of the beach, several bars and restaurants around it. There is even a bar with live music next to the hotel. |The staff is very friendly and speaks several languages. |The breakfast is very good , with several local and international options. |You will find in the rooms enough stuff for a comfortable stay. The rooms are also very clean. |It’s a very good price for the location. |2 small negative points:|- it is a bit noisy at night, so don’t forget your ear plugs if the noise bothers you|- the rooms start to get a bit old (probably because of the humidity)|Overall, I would recommend this hotel and go back any time. |

we stayed at the Hit hotel over New Year. The hotel is right in front of the beach and one can choose to stay in a beach facing room or city. We originally stayed in a beach facing room but changed to a city view which is nice to escape the noise at night.||Breakfasts were good with a big selection of cakes, fruit and hot foods. The reception manager Gustaffo is really an asset to the hotel giving "gringos" like ourselves advise about the area. I left my phone in the room and the hotel sent it to us in Rio - many thanks once again.||the photographs on the website is flattering in comparison to the actual rooms.

The front desk was very disrespectful and RUDE. I got to the hotel at 5:30 pm after a 2.5 hours flight and This guy instead of helping us was very rude and very unprofessional. I believe that some how he owns the hotel or have something to do with the management. I asked very politely for some upper management help and he was very straightforward and told me you can leave the hotel “ I don’t care”. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody specially if you are planning to relax for a little bit in front of the ocean. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL FOR ANY REASON.

Arrived very tired, staff helpful and very well trained....nothing is too much trouble, rooms excellent with housemaids cleaning and replacing everything when necessary. Only grumble from me is that Braskfast would be better if there were trays available...

The hotel not really up to the pictures on the internet anymore (especially the bathrooms being a bit in need of refurbishment), however the staff very dedicated and happy to help whenever the need arises! location of the hotel is great, with the beach and loads of nice restaurants and bars around!!

Nice hotel with about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Light House (Farrol). The rooms are clean and tidy and the WiFi works intermittently. There are a few bars and restaurants near the hotel. If I would return to Salvador, The hotel is not guest friendly. I would return to Salvador, I would stay in alternate accommodation. Sometimes it is noisy at night as there are bars close to the hotel. Overall ok stay at this hotel.
