5 exciting bars at Jewel Changi Airport to bookend your Singapore vacation - SilverKris

"A modern, elevated take on the traditional izakaya, this airy venue benefits from Jewel’s soaring glass ceilings and an al fresco feel despite being indoors. Opened in 2022, it pours a wide sake selection—from approachable house pours to premium Dassai bottlings—alongside highballs, yakitori and sashimi; the menu highlights include Kushi Mori Yaki skewers and a Premium Sashimi Moriawase. Expect bar snacks that skew adventurous (deep‑fried burdock, grilled stingray fin and even grilled fugu), plus beer options that run from Japanese classics to stouts and playful offerings like Kirin Ichiban beer slushies." - Ben Chin

Good place to chill out before your flight. Food is good. Service is good. Price is ok, a little pricey but this is airport price. Only one tiny things is I would love to have more variety of items. Buy one get one beer is the real deal.

Had a lovely dining experience at Hitoyoshi Izakaya while at Changi Airport. The food was genuinely good—fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. From sushi to grilled skewers, everything hit the spot. What made it even better was the atmosphere. Despite being in an airport, the restaurant had a cozy, authentic izakaya vibe that made it feel like a mini escape from the terminal bustle. Great lighting, calm ambiance, and a comfortable layout. Perfect for a satisfying meal before a flight or during a layover. Rating: 4.5/5 — tasty food, great vibes, and a surprisingly relaxing airport dining experience.

First time eating @ Hitoyoshi Izakaya. It’s at Roof Top of Jewel. The place would be hot on a sunny day. Today the sky is cloudy hence it’s cooling. The food is delicious and the service crew is responsive. If you have Grab app, there is 15% off the bill. When you are at Changi Airport, worth to try this place.

Tuna, everything we ordered, was melt in the mouth yummilicious. Sushi rolls unusual with freshly shaved truffle. Excellent. Tempura avocado & huge fully loaded sashimi don are 2 dishes not to be missed. The 'white' unagi, like in Kyoto, melt in the mouth delicious.

Atmosphere was nice, but very dark and kinda puts you to sleep 😅 we got a cozy semicircle couch area for a party of 5 Food was okay. The crab that was advertised to be on sale (only $15) and came with very little crab meat, but the Singapore sauce was amazing We also got soba (one cold and one hot) and they were fine. The pork chops were kinda dry, not comparable to another we recently got in Japan that was super juicy. Sushi was eh. We got one with crab and another wagyu beef. The wagyu, however, took way too long to arrive. We had to ask twice for why it was taking so long, and the rest of us had already finished eating our meals! Total it took maybe around 45min-1hr? Overall this restaurant is okay.

Came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place is a bit warm even though it was raining outside. Maybe due to the glass roof which traps the heat. The sashimi is fresh but expensive for the price. The miso cod was disappointing in the portion size. The dishes also came out at different times. Unlikely to come back again.

Tried this restaurant on the top floor of Jewel. There are just too many choice for food there so we just decided to go for this. It was a quick bite before heading home. I must say the ramen was ok, tempura is pretty good and so was the Hamachi. The skewers is ordinary.. then again the price is reasonable. They are family friendly so if you want to dine there suggest you make arrangement. They barely managed to squeeze 2 of us in.

This restaurant is located on the top floor of Jewel, offering a pleasant dining experience with a nice view. Overall, the food is decent. We tried several appetizers and skewers, which were quite tasty. The sushi rolls were enjoyable, and the gyoza was well-prepared with a satisfying texture and flavor. However, the soba was underwhelming. The sauce lacked depth, and the noodles had a disappointing texture, which made the dish quite average. For a restaurant in Jewel, the prices are reasonable, and the food is generally enjoyable. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area and want to dine while taking in the top-floor view.
