The place is cozy, the food is always tasty, and the portions are generous—definitely worth the price. There’s something for everyone, including options for those who are fasting, vegan, or have gluten or lactose intolerances. I recommend it for a quick bite on the go, for enjoying on a nearby bench, or if you’re lucky enough to grab a table.

Also known for one of the best banitsa in Sofia! This is truly a gem for pastries, cakes and bread. A must try.

I ordered lots of food and two sugarless chocolate muffins to take away. They didn’t give me a cash receipt and on top only when I got home I noticed they didn’t put the muffins in the bag. Each muffin cost like 9,50 lv so 19 lv thrown away…my family members, who lunch there all the time, told me that this is pretty common at Hlebar and you always have to double check your bags. Not sure if Hlebar employees are just a mess or they do it on purpose. Either way not cool at all.

The staff is nice, the food is delicious and has many vegan and vegetarian options, as well as gluten free and sugar free goods. The beverages variety is rich and tasteful. The only downside is that it is a bit pricy but due to the location and organic food, it is reasonable. After all it is a diner-like shop. Would recommend if price isn’t an issue.

This is a cool bakery and well curated neighborhood mini market, at which I passed by for some food items and bread. Everything I got was delicious, and I stayed to try one of their savory pastries (I don’t remember the name, it was a wrapped thin bread with cheese and spinach). The service staff was friendly even though they were very busy.

Decent local bakery with brunch/lunch menu. Big variety of sweet and salty things. Great coffee. It is quite expensive, a piece of banitza is 5+ BGN now. Also, all of the packed food is bio, variety of bio vegetables and fruits. Early in the morning is good for work there. During warm weather only the pigeons are very annoying and arrogant! Usually the staff is awesome but sometimes they are really really slow.
