Hljómskálagarðurinn

This is the public park taking up space just south of Lake Tjornin in the city centre of Reykjavik. You'll find several walking paths traversing the park and through manicured lawns with flowerbeds and quite a few interesting monument installations which give added character to the park. Worth a leisurely walk which you can include as a loop around Lake Tjornin as well.

Lovely area of Reykjavik. A place to take some time to appreciate your surroundings. Nice park and lake. An easy walk, good photo opportunities, benches to sit on and lots of bird life to watch.

Very nice and beautiful park! We visited mainly the large pond area. We went in December, and it was completely frozen, and people were walking on it (and even riding a bike on it). It was really neat to see and walk on! The area was beautiful and there was even a section of a bunch of birds and geese in the unfrozen water section.

Lovely little local park. Perfect to wander about or just sit around in. Quiet even when busier.

A nice central park just south of downtown to walk or jog in. Quite a few statues around Tjörnin to stop and look at. It feels like you have a good view of Reykjavik even though you are only at ground level!

Nice but small park in Reykjavík, good place to take your kids and even relax. There are often events there, outdoor concerts and theater.

Lovely park. Could have stayed all day. Simple and well maintained. Flowers were beautiful. Within easy walking distance of the heart of the city.

Lovely park with a nice lake that you can walk around. It's very quiet and surrounded by lovely lush gardens. Nice place to go jogging.
