I recently had the pleasure of dining at HMF and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience! IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE MORE STARS I WOULD! From the moment we walked in, the ambience enveloped us in a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for a delightful meal. Our server, Kelsy, truly elevated our visit. She was not only kind and attentive but also quick with her service, ensuring we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her cheerful demeanor and genuine enthusiasm for her work really lifted the mood at our table, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The sushi was an absolute highlight! The combination of flavors was divine, and I found myself savoring every bite. The attention to detail in crafting each piece was evident, and it's clear that the chefs take great pride in their work. My husband however ordered the taco and said the seasoning was spot on, and the fillings were generous but wouldn’t order again. To top it all off, HMF has a fantastic wine selection that perfectly complements their menu. The options were thoughtfully curated.I cannot recommend HMF enough—be sure to ask for Kelsy when you visit! You DEFINITELY won’t be disappointed!

We loved everything about HMF! the dragon roll sushi was really good and the iced oolong tea.

Expect 20% gratuity built in even at the bar. Expect to pay $40 for 4 pieces of teeny 1 ½ inch square pieces of chewy steak, and $40 for 4 heavy bland dough mushroom dumplings. Their sake menu is equally overpriced with a 300% markup for average sake. Can say service was good until they get distracted talking amongst themselves. There is no thank you and see you again. You just leave unnoticed. 20% tip!!

Google
HMF, is a restaurant inside The Breakers Hotel on Palm Beach. They do not accept reservations, so expect a wait for seating on Friday and Saturday nights. The restaurant focuses on tapas (small plates) so you can order and taste several menu options without overdoing it. The vibe here is lively and fun, and the bar is usually so packed that people stand around it to socialize.

We came here for drinks after dinner. The lobby is beautiful and so as the bar. The high ceilings and atmosphere takes you back in old era. The bartenders are dress up like the 1920’s black dress with brown pearl necklace and red lipstick. I had the espresso martini and my husband had the woodford reserve on the rocks. It was served with a huge round ice with a rose inside the ice, it was so cool. However, this place is very pricey. I know it’s Palm Beach, but $50 for two drinks, it’s a bit much.

HMF is a class act all the way. Try the onion dip- seems pricey but worth every penny. They have great mocktails too. The ambiance was stunning. The service was exceptional.

Google
Its the Breakers, so its an awesome product. Dont be surprised by the cost. Some trivia: How many bottles of wine are in the display? 2,300ish. Also, they have been open for 12 years and its served in the same area as brunch. Brunch is amazing and now costs $200 pp. Opens at 6 and theres a mad dash to the bar on the left side right away. Tables are loungy and some couches arent the best for a full meal. Food and service is always top notch. Everything is good.

Google
Great date night spot! Offers small plates and appetizers with the largest selection of bottle service I've ever seen. We walked the grounds facing the ocean for a romantic couples quality time to end the night.

Yelp
Every time I am in Palm Beach this is my go to do Cocktails. And I always order the onion dip because it truly is delicious and the beat onion dip in your life. I tried dessert this time and it was also so good you will be sad when is finished! HMF has an atmosphere that you can't get anywhere else in South Florida. The staff is very attentive and makes sure that you are happy with your drinks and food. It is certainly pricey but that's to be expected in Palm Beach but it is very much worth it as well. The quality is top notch!

Afrodite M.

Yelp
Delicious Debutante cocktail! If you're a fan of kiwi and a fan of lively atmosphere (and slightly overpriced appetizers) come on over to HMF and become a local

Jamie K.

Yelp
Place to go after dinner for drinks and dessert. Such a relaxing fun place. Easy give your phone number and can wait with a drink outside until you have a table or just chill at the bar if you don't want to eat.

Yelp
HMF is a super fun and swanky hotel bar, great place to be seen.. super over priced drinks, wines, cocktails. The bar is a vintage look at the breakers hotel and their dazzling architecture..... service was pretty lackluster at the bar. Bartender charged me for the wrong thing, then couldn't figure out his way to correct the bill... the person next to me couldn't get her check or a glass of water for 20 minutes. Grab a drink.. stay for the show.

Ramona G.

Yelp
HMF is a bar/restaurant located at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. I stayed at the hotel during my vacation and HMF was the perfect place to grab some food and drinks. Upon seating they served me some warm nuts. I ordered a chocolate espresso martini which was delicious. For my dinner I got the Palm Beach Sushi Roll, and I might be going out on a limb here, but that was the best tasting sushi I've ever had in my life! It was so delicious! You have to try it! For dessert I ordered the Warm Chocolate "Whoppie Pie" Sundae. I've had the Amish whoppie pies before and these weren't like those. This one was honestly just alright and I'd probably skip it next time. I ended up dining here a second time the next morning. I was supposed to have brunch at The Circle but unfortunately it was closed that morning for an event, so I had to get breakfast at HMF. It was pretty good too but I would have prefered to try something else at the hotel.

Lili J.

Yelp
One of my favorites of all time. Classic, elegant, does not get old. Always a fun, lively crowd. The servers are always buttoned up, attentive and pleasant. Not many places go to the trouble of making a Baked Alaska (yum!) or serving your Espresso Martini with their signature logo but they do! You cannot go wrong here for drinks or snacks or both. The sushi bar serves excellent dishes. To note: locals are mixed with hotel guests, a dj spins on the weekends, tip is included, no reservations taken here.

Molly M.

Yelp
The bartenders were amazing, very friendly and attentive. Wish it did not open so late and close so early. The ambiance is wonderful.

Holly K.

Yelp
REALLY great sushi restaurant in the middle of the fancy Breakers hotel. Ambiance inside is 10/10, very elegant, fancy, and luxurious. Very "grand" feeling once inside (you definitely cannot overdress, but you can underdress). The entire menu is small plates (tapas style), meant to be shared. Our table ordered the wagyu beef sliders (with smoked bacon and cheddar), duck empanadas (with chipotle aioli sauce), momo dumplings (with a sweet chili dipping sauce), churrasco steak chimichurri skewers, Asian tuna tartar (with crispy rice), spicy dragon roll, rainbow roll, and key lime pie. I thought all the plates were amazing, none were underwhelming. All of the bites were perfectly seasoned and the fresh was very fresh. My favorites were the churrasco steak, the beef sliders, the momo dumplings, and the Asian tuna tartar!! The key lime pie texture was rich, creamy, and smooth (perfection), but would have liked it a little more tart. The entire meal was a bit pricey, you're definitely paying for location of this restaurant. I loved that we could add a "4th" piece to all of the apps for our party of 4 (most come with 3 each). Also note that you have the ability to order off of the "Seafood Bar" menu (just ask for one). Service was 10/10, found our waitress to be friendly and helpful. Would definitely return to this restaurant!

Dymond F.

Yelp
Went here for a few small bites and drinks with a friend. The Breakers is known for its ambiance so of course this place is beautiful. Our drinks was strong and pleasing to the eye. We only had pork bao buns + wagyu beef sliders + baked Alaska and they were all tasty. Our waitress was one of the best I've had, she was very attentive and patient with us ordering as we were talking and stayed to dine for awhile. I can't wait to return for happy hour or dinner again. If you haven't been - please go you won't be disappointed. *Valet is $35 but $20 when validated at the restaurant*

Audrey V.

Yelp
My favorite bar in Palm Beach/West Palm. This is the place to take someone if you want to impress. Like everything with the Breakers, the service is always wonderful! Drinks are awesome - I'm a big fan of the floozy (like a spicy margarita but not too sweet + has a nice foam on top). I had dinner here for the first time & as expected... it was delicious. I love that you can get some of the Echo sushi rolls here (Palm beach roll with conch is the best!). I also tried their warm Brussels sprouts Caesar salad. It's not a typical salad - not healthy by any means - but it is tasty. Lastly, I'm obsessed with their chocolate hazelnut torte (gluten free). Even if you're just here for drinks, if you have room for dessert, get this!!!

Elena V.

Yelp
We went to HMF at The Breakers to celebrate our anniversary. The setting is beautiful, excellent service all across. You can't make reservations, so we arrived at 6:00 to make sure we have a table. Lower rating for the high prices, small portions, average food. We had 3 different dishes and dessert, and were still hungry. Setting alone didn't justify the prices, at least not for us. The short ribs were the best from everything we ordered. The fish bowl and chimichuri steak were ok, nothing to rave about. The cocktails were very good and would recommend.

Camilo V.

Yelp
If you haven't tried the baked Alaska order it now! It has super high alcohol content though and tastes super delicious and super boozy. I thought the vibes were amazing and felt trendy.

Laura P.

Yelp
It's always a great time for me at HMF. This bar/dining room gets its initials from Henry Morrison Flagler. Their soft lighting, flickering candles, comfortable seating and cozy conversation areas make for a lovely, relaxing evening. Early in the night you'll notice many families dining here, but as the evening progresses the bar scene takes over. I've mostly had classic cocktails here, and their delicious Baked Alaska. This dessert is spectacularly beautiful as it's set afire with flaming rum. It's classic with a twist as it has a base of red velvet cake, topped with ice cream and encased in billowy marshmallow. The flambéed dessert is elegant yet some bites are reminiscent of a campfire singed marshmallow. Important to note: *no reservations *globally inspired with entrees Shrimp Pad Thai, Greek Lamb sliders and Maine Lobster Garganelli *in house spiced nuts accompany your toddy.

Daniel S.

Yelp
Top tier ambiance, cocktails, and service. Be sure to walk out back for the ocean views.

Yelp
Dreaming of HMF now on my flight back to NYC... The ambience of the iconic hotel bar at the Breakers is truly unique, one that cannot be replicated. A relic from the gilded age; precisely what I come to Palm Beach to experience. Beautiful people with their beautiful problems drinking beautiful cocktails and indulging in beautiful dishes. I simply cannot imagine coming here and having a bad time. I'm actually convinced that if you come here, drink, dine, chat and depart with intentions to leave a 1-star review that you brought a nasty vibe to the bar and sullied your own experience. On my fifth, and most recent visit, I had the best burrata of my life (made in-house, of course) and enjoyed three espresso martinis. The service was fabulous as always. Shout out to Denise! I'm apprehensive to wax poetic about HMF because it actually is my favorite place. But let's be real, it's the Breakers - it's not like lauding the hotel bar with praise is reinventing the wheel either. So I'll cut myself off here - it's not a "to do," it's a must. Dress nicely, be normal, and find a seat at the bar on the early side of the evening - the place fills up.

Debbie J.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and steak skewers. Great service- best to make a reservation Coming back soon.

Yelp
Huge restaurant. High ceilings. Good service. Ana. Inside The Breakers Hotel. Large menu. Pizza. Sushi. Sandwiches. Dessert. Drinks. Bar. Really nice lobby area and grounds. Several restaurants. Guard gated. Free parking and valet. Get there!

Georgette Q.

Yelp
After a delicious elegant Christmas dinner in the Ponce de Leon Ballroom we wanted an after dinner drink so we headed to HMF. Greeted warmly and seated in big comfy chairs we relaxed and looked over the specialty cocktail menu. Payton was our server and she was delightful. My sister and I ordered Chocolate Martinis and my brother in law ordered a specific Port.. Unfortunately, the Port was unavailable so another Port was ordered. The atmosphere was chic elegance with appropriate music in the background for us to enjoy. The chocolate martinis were absolutely delicious and the Port was smooth and not too sweet. Perfect after indulging in an elegant Breakers Dinner Buffet. Payton was attentive and charming. Truly a Christmas celebration to remember! Thank you so much! I highly recommend.

Yelp
Amenda the manager is our favorite. She is always so full of life with a beautiful smile, and eager to take care of her guest. What a great addition they made by bringing her on board. We enjoy the relaxing scene here where you can go outside and have a cigar with your cocktail. We've always enjoy this place but get a little turned off with a lot of the gas that show up wearing flip-flops and T-shirts is if we are. We're at a Holiday Inn on Galveston Island.

Erah S.

Yelp

Leslie K.

Yelp
Very disappointed in almost all drinks; everything is very strong alcohol with not a lot of care to taste and mixology. The apps were quite good

Sherman K.

Yelp
This is a swanky tapas and cocktail restaurant at The Breakers hotel. Very beautiful and warm inside. It was quite lively for a Wednesday, probably because of a conference at the hotel. I'll note that dressing nice is requested, and I did not see many people dressed "Florida casual". The food and drinks were fabulous! We decided to get the blistered shishito peppers and grilled artichoke hearts. For drinks, we had The Enchanted (complete with rose bud frozen in a sphere ice cube), and The Debutante. Very fresh tasting, and a perfect balance of flavors. They have a VAST wine list! My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the price. While everything was very good; the prices seemed a bit excessive for the moderate size portions you get. You'll essentially pay $20-$30 for each food item you choose. Beers were $9, and cocktails were $20.

Kendall C.

Yelp
The drinks were great and so was the cookie skillet. The staff was nice. The inside is beautiful. Great place to come for a drink!

Yuliet C.

Yelp
Best sushi this place is beautiful the vibes amazing love it I recommended 100%%%

David Z.

Yelp
Breakers has many top options and this is no exception. With an open lounge concept and big bar you have room to figure out your vibe.. Food to share and drinks to enjoy.

M S.

Yelp
We were looking forward to a holiday tea at the Breakers. The whole setup starting with the tea pots was cheap looking. The sandwiches were just one bite appetizers. Not savory, not plentiful and no choices, like a vegetarian option. The scones were one per person and not baked to perfection. The teas were good but there were some mistakes made in the choice of teas and many delays. At some point we had no plates for the scones and had to use saucers. The polite young lady bringing us the meal had very poor training. We decided to call the Manager on duty and skip the deserts and further aggravation. Price per person: 120$. The Manager waived our 500$ tab and was gracious about it. However, beware, they have no clue how to serve a holiday tea or any afternoon tea for that matter. The food was good enough for a B restaurant at a Breakers price. Very disappointing.

James J.

Yelp
Terrible food, Terrible business. They are incredibly judgmental.. Please don't waste your time.

Elle E.

Yelp
Definitely a place to see and be seen inside of luxurious PGA resort, so dress to impress...wearing stilettos a must here! Lively with a bit of a pick-up vibe at the bar. Came here for drinks and ordered the baked Alaska too, which was a beautiful presentation.

Mariana G.

Yelp
This hotel is stunning and the restaurant does not disappoint. We ordered some sushi, the Brussels Sprout salad, short rib and churrasco. I wouldn't say its the best food but its very good. The service was amazing and the hazelnut tart is delicious and gluten free. Drinks are also really good just ask for them to not have too much ice otherwise its just ice and a sip of cocktail.

Mariel W.

Yelp
Never thought I'd say this but HMF at The Breakers has failed to live up to their high standards. Their prices are one tHing but when the servers ask you one after the other five times if you're finished with your meal when your cutlery clearly indicates you aren't ...well that says it all!! They obviously are trying to get you in and out so that they can get their 20% tip on each check making you wonder whether they deserve anything at all. There was so much wrong with the way our table was treated that I don't even have enough room to write it all down here. Just felt like HMF has turned into a tourist trap that should be avoided at all cost! There are so many great restaurants in Palm Beach to go to. Aside from the beautiful decor at The Breakers Hotel ...I don't see any reason to go back to HMF.

Britani P.

Yelp
HMF absolutely lived up to the hype. The food was amazing, my favorite actually ended up being the Hong Kong dumplings but the Korean short rib was a close second. The drinks were equally delicious and our server was so lovely. We will definitely be back.

Angela R.

Yelp
Really great food and atmosphere. Later in the evening, they play the music so loud, you really can't carry on a conversation without yelling. I like it better when they play jazz or something more suitable for the 1940'2 like decor earlier in the evening. The food was incredible but it came out kinda cold. Wasn't sure if it was supposed to be that way or not. The service was unfriendly. We found out when the bill came they include the tip, so no wonder such unfriendly service, they aren't trying to impress for a tip or anything. The hostess was very welcoming. however. For the prices they charge, I want better service, but the Breakers is a cool spot and HMF is a swanky lounge with tasty food. The chicken wraps are amazing! And the Korean ribs also good. I wanted them hot though and they were lukewarm.

Marianna P.

Yelp
Came here with friends for a drink. The espresso martini was amazing! We loved the ambiance and music playing. It's very dark and intimate. Since we came on a Saturday night, there was a 30 minute wait for a table so we just headed up to the bar where a few seats opened up. The interior decor is so tasteful. The bartenders were absolutely divine and so attentive. We are so happy we chose this place to grab cocktails. Everyone is very lively and enjoying themselves. Highly recommend!

Andrea C.

Yelp
Always wanted to come and see this old palm beach hotel. Rooms start at over $1000 a night so I know I'm not staying here, even on a splurge. There are a number of restaurants and for dinner, HMF, which is sort of their lobby bar, is the least expensive option. Everything about the hotel is incredible from just pulling up to it, to its lobby, to the beach area. All just stunning. Valet parking costs $35, but as long as you eat or drink something you can get your ticket validated and park free. HMF isn't a typical lobby bar. It's more of a restaurant, I guess they're just more open to you sitting at a table and only having drinks. At $19 per drink, I don't blame them. Even though this is their inexpensive eating option, it's quite expensive. The food is served as small, appetizer sized portions that are meant to be shared. But the small portions are still priced about $30 per plate. And oddly, it's really not great food. I mean, it's above average bar type food....Sliders, some basic sushi, pot stickers, etc. all just ok. I mean good, just nothing special. You are really there and paying for the experience of being at the Breakers Hotel. Is it worth it? Well, I guess once. They have lunch places by their pools that might possibly be slightly less expensive. That could be worth a look. HMF is mainly for the experience, not the food.

Matthew S.

Yelp
HMF is actually a bar inside The Breakers. Great place to meet with your friends and have a few cocktails. They have a full bar, wine list as well as a cigar menu. You can purchase a cigar here and walk outside onto the courtyard to smoke it. Many do. Great place to check out and hang out whilst at The Breakers.

Nick R.

Yelp
Very disappointing experience. Came here for a special occasion and we wanted to pick out an amazing bottle of wine. We talked to the hostess and they said they would send out the master sommelier to our table and that one of them was in the restaurant tonight. When the waitress seated us we also asked her and she said she would send him over. At this point we were very excited. When the gentleman arrived he suggested a bottle and it was brought to our table. When we asked him a question related to his title, he said that he is not a somm at all, and that he just works there. We felt duped and taken for fools. The one star is for the nice ambiance and the decent pinot noir

Elle H.

Yelp
Great food, great drinks, beautiful property. This restaurant is good for a group date night. We were a party of four on a Saturday night, no reservations but were able to get seated in under 15 minutes. We ordered many dishes, however my favorite by far was the Warm Brussels Sprout Caesar (10/10). Here are a few other items I'd recommend: Chinese Shrimp Fried Rice Wagyu Sliders Dumplings Hamachi And.... the chocolate chip cookie sundae!! Definitely will return. FYI: it's pretty dark inside.

Doug A.

Yelp
BREAKERS IS SPECTACULAR and the HMF restaurant can't be beat both for its physicality and for food & service. Four of us had dinner last night and, as in the past, we had a half dozen small plates. I asked our server to be sure there was enough on each plate for the four of us and she did. Food was great. It's the kind of place where you can actually ask your server to bring dinner and not bother to order as everything is great. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Palm Beach and we've been living here for about 40 year

Nicholas G.

Yelp
Perfect spot for a night cap. It kind of resembles the lobby of a casino which isn't a bad thing. They were out of my favorite nightcap Oban. No problem I found something else without an issue. This is a happening place so if you are looking for a quiet time don't come. It is lively and that adds to the fun of it. I think you can also get some small bites as well. We didn't eat but had a drink and enjoyed ourselves. They have a dj playing some light music and there are enough seats where you usually don't have to wait too long. Check it out!

Ken G.

Yelp
Great menu. Amazing food choices. Wait staff was on top of things. Ambiance was special.

Martine K.

Yelp
This review is for the Holiday Tea at the Breakers. When we'd first arrived there were only a few tables occupied but by the time we left out was pretty full. The venue is really beautiful. There were 5 of us and we were seated at a table with low seating... comfortable yet not quite. There are several different types of tea and I opted for the tropical green which has hints of pineapple. It was very good. The tea sandwiches arrive next and there is enough that we can each sample one. They are very small. There is an egg salad, a mango chicken, a lobster? Salad, and a vegetable. They were good but we were starving after devouring it. We asked our server if we could get more and she explained there'd be an upcharge which is understandable. One friend asked if she could skip the scone and dessert and get a few more sandwiches. The server said she would check. The next thing you know another platter of sandwiches arrived with the same fare but there were a few more chicken and vegetable tea sandwiches. The next course is the scones and they truly stole the show with Devonshire cream on the side (albeit a very minimal amount) and 3 different preserves. We were never explained as to what flavor they were. Next up comes a tray of desserts which were very disappointing except for the chocolate covered strawberries which were delicious. The macarons and other unknown "goodies" were dry, bland, and apparently not the forte of the kitchen. Overall for $75 it was a forgettable experience. Our sever who was super friendly at first seemed to disappear. I wish she took the time to explain what was what. I knew going in that Hey, It's the Breakers and all frou frou and all and I didn't have a problem with forking over the money. We were charged an extra $115 for the extra sandwiches which the server never came back to explain to us. And she got a 20 per cent tip which is automatically added. It's not something I would ever do again.

John C.

Yelp
A wonderful place for dinner at The Breakers or just have a drink at the bar. Food selection is wonderful as is the food quality. Great selection of wine with a very large selection. Stop by just to sit and enjoy the architecture.

Manhattan N.

Yelp
Good food (not great), but great service and ambiance - fun night. Mix of swanky crowd in blazers with younger people ready to go out for the night.

Kristen G.

Yelp
Be forewarned of the shady bartenders who don't give you an itemized bill and automatically charge gratuity. Unethical and not appreciated.

Morgan C.

Yelp
Absolutely love it here. Great vibes, nice music. Perfect for a date night or a gathering of girlfriends on a Friday night. Everything on the menu is a smaller dish/tapas style. When I say everything we ordered we delicious, I mean it!!!! Service was quick and good. No complaints at the Breakers. It's always a good time. Perfect place to get dressed up :-)

Karen F.

Yelp
it's unfortunate I have to even give them one star. The food was so-so and the service horrendous. We were a party of seven. Our food came out intermittently. First two were served, then one, then another and finally the last three. Over twenty minutes went by before all of us had our food. We complained to the waitress and hostess and their excuse was, "They forgot to give special instructions to the kitchen." on top of that the tip was included in the bill. I'm not sure of the percentage but more than 1% was too much. The Breakers is known for elegance and top notch service. The HMF did not live up to that reputation!

Felicia Y.

Yelp
Come for the ambiance, stay for the ambiance. The restaurant is splayed out lounge-style with a prominent bar anchoring the back and a massive wine display anchoring one side. Waitresses don black dresses and pearl necklaces, the lighting is moody, and the music gives life to an earlier era. Spiced cashews are on-the-house and seem to come straight from the oven. They're warm and fragrant with notes of cinnamon and curry. The food is tapas-style - read: small portions, large price tag, but let's not forget, you're at the Breakers! The "Nonna's Meatball and Gravy," true to its name, comprised of one huge meatball paired with tomato "gravy" and grilled ciabatta drizzled in smoky olive oil. The "Orecchiette" was favorably paired with duck sausage and mushrooms but unfortunately drowning in a heavily salted sauce. Thoughtfully, you can order wine by the half glass. As for cocktails, "The Floozy" (tequila, ginger, cucumber, jalapeño, lime) was sublime. Would definitely recommend HMF for a posh evening on the town.

Stephanie O.

Yelp
Underwhelming. Located at the beautiful Breakers hotel, the lounge is chic and well decorated. The service is phenomenal. The menu is an array of international options with a focus on on sushi. The plates are all small, tapas style. We ordered nearly one of everything. The plates are generally enough for 3-4 people to have a bite or two and cost between $20-$30 a plate. Very high price. As for actual dishes - EVERYTHING was EXTREMELY over salted. We even had to send the Warm Brussels Caesar back because it was inedible with how much salt was in it. The Churrasco with Chimichurri was tasty - not outstanding. The Chimichurri was not traditional - it was blended/pureed, not chopped or mashed, and had too much basil and mint, not enough pepper or cilantro. Ordered shishito peppers which never arrived. Our favorite item was the mushroom dumpling - fresh soft. Beautiful texture and delicate flavor. The only item I would reccomend. We also enjoyed the chopped salad, which was larger bits of green beans, peas, carrots, and other seasonal vegetables in a light salty sauce. Very fresh and nice. The Boar Empenadas were unremarkable. Good flavor but not memorable. Prosciutto was fine. Crab dip was too rich, no crab chunks, just thin unflavored stands. Greek spiced sliders were oversalted and not tasty. Chicken lettuce wraps were fine. The shrimp pad thai was a large portion. Several of us noted it tasted identical to the pad thai at the Asian fast food place Pei Wei. Burrata with tomato was extremely over salted. The burrata itself was dry and chewy, not fresh and creamy. I could not eat it with the halved cherry tomatoes as at this point the amount of sodium was dehydrating me. Pilsner was $9, cocktails $17. The watermelon martini was really good. The blueberry pisco cocktail was also good. Sushi was good and fresh, but unbalanced. Many roles were overpowered by an excess of avocado. The baked Alaska tasted of kerosene. Would not recommend. Food came too quickly. We were overwhelmed by the speed. Waitress did not seem to communicate with the kitchen. I felt like a factory farm cow being forced to eat from a trough so that the waitress could set down the plates. Stressful. Also was overcharged on our bill which exceeded $700. Were charged for duplicates or items that never arrived. When they fixed the bill it was over $100 less than they immediately charged.

Yelp
You do not need to be staying at The Breakers to visit this place. All the restaurants are open to the public. I can't speak to the food because although we stopped in here, we just had drinks. The place is absolutely breathtaking as all the restaurants are at The Breakers. The chandeliers in particular are stunning. The staff are great. Anyone who knows The Breakers knows this is about as upscale as it gets but one thing I can say is that neither HMF nor any of the restaurants at The Breakers for that matter, are aloof. The staff are warm and friendly and although one might be a bit awestruck about being here (how can one NOT be?) it is relaxing. The staff make it so. So many upscale places have an attitude and/or can be intimidating but nowhere at The Breakers have I ever found that. So yes, I'd recommend them. I'd recommend every restaurant here because they are all great. The ones I know best are "The Circle" and "The Italian Restaurant". HMF I was only at once but my time there was thoroughly enjoyable and I'm sure yours will be too.
