Hồ cá Trí Nguyên

We got to this place from Bến Đò Dân Sinh Phú Quý (ferry service). It cost 150,000 ₫ per person for a round trip (I think it's possible to bargain, since it's a private boat). The inside of the place looks like a pirate ship, with many great spots for photos. If you've been to the Museum of Oceanography, you might not be very impressed by the fish here, but the interior makes it definitely worth a visit. There's also a beach on the other side of the island - you can ask to be taken there

My family paid only 5k VND per person to buy boat tickets for the local people to the island. The journey was fantastic with nice views, cheap and delicious food from the fisherman village. We paid only 20k for a bowl of traditional fish soup in the local market, which tastes amazing 😀The Tri Nguyen Aquarium offers tourists to see and get to know many rare fish and corals. We had a precious opportunity to be guided by the guide Le Nam, who had years of experiences on the island. We would highly recommend the island to any tourists who want to get to know authentic local Vietnamese culture.

We had a fun experience. We arrived just as in time to be accompanied by a guide, Mr. Nam, who was fantastic, knowledgeable and really helped enriched the experience a lot. We saw lots of huge fish and gained a lot of local wisdom on each and every one of them. My only addition would be to keep cleaner shores and extra actitivies to prolong my stay. Again, 100% recommended.

The aquarium is very good. Mr. Nam Le, the tour guide is very friendly and informative. He will explain everything about the fish and the aquarium during the tour. Also he is showing you how to feed the fish. Highly recommended.
