The Chinese food is good but it's nothing special about the place to me In the waiting area where people are waiting for their food needs to be NEAT More clean

Always friendly service. Good chicken wings, vegetable dishes,, and roast duck.

It's just good takeout. I can't recommend the dumplings as they were really wet (?) but everything else on the menu was really good. If you order pickup expect to wait a minute but the wait is worth it. I really enjoyed the seafood fry and I think that the overall experience was really good. Just practice a little patience and the result will be good!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and the quality of food has deteriorated drastically while the cost has risen. I no longer recommend this spot unless you’re starving and don’t wish to go far if you live close to this location.

Terrible. We ordered take out for 12. The beef and vegetables were bland, mushy and overcooked (beef was grey). The moo shu was equally bland (thank god for extra plum sauce) and the pancakes were old and stiff. The potstickers were cakey and undercooked. The lo mein was tasteless, lacked any substantive additions of the chicken or vegetables we ordered and looked like they used vermicelli noodles not lo mein noodles. With the exception of the white rice and egg rolls - we ended up throwing out the majority of the food. It’s difficult to understand how this restaurant could garner 4 & 5 star ratings for its food. There was truly nothing flattering that can be said of their cuisine which is unfortunate.

All the chow fun pieces were melted together like an msg pancake of mush.

I’ve eaten from here since I was too young to cross the streets by myself. Even with the demographic changes to the neighborhood that usually would have other restaurants “water down” their ingredients, they have stayed true to their recipes and I’m thankful for that.

I don't usually leave reviews lately but this was the worse delivery chinese Ive ever received. The rice literally tasted stale. Inedible and honestly overpriced for something that was borderline inedible. I was afraid to keep eating the shrimp lo mein and get sick.

Amazing selection of dishes and superb cooking skills owing to the couple having established their business for more than 15 years. Sweet, lovely chef Julie somehow just gets it every time an order needs to be customized. Their fried chicken wings have no competition - fresh, hot, tasty and crispy every time. My kids still rave about their General Tsao's Chicken even after ordering from other places. Only Ho Wah makes it good enough for them, they rave and rant

This place is pretty decent. Never going to be a top choice for me, especially since I don't live here. But I have a brother who does, and he doesn't get around, so I have to pick him up and find somewhere to eat in this neighborhood that isn't exactly a food smorgasbord. So, it's likely that this will become our go-to Chinese restaurant. When we went this past Saturday for lunch, it wasn't busy at all. They had one server taking all orders, running the food, getting drinks, etc... and the service wasn't bad. My brother is "special needs" and the server was cooperative. My daughter and brother both hated the Sweet & Sour soup, and that's saying a lot because my brother LIVES for food. For him to push something aside... this was one of the first times I've ever seen that. To me, that dish always tastes like barf. Our large order of ribs on the bone was quite good and meaty, though. I already forget what we ordered for our mains, but it was decent. Of course, when I spilled my brother's glass of Coke all over his lap (LOL), no one could be found to help us, but they didn't seem to mind that we stole like 20 napkins from the service counter. All in all, it was decent. Don't go to the men's bathroom, though, if you're looking for the royal treatment. Hopefully they'll do some more business and can afford to change some of the tiles and fix the partition at the toilet. In any case, we will undoubtedly return.

I found this place on a deep dive search to try in locate open Chinese restaurants in my area. I noticed the name was very similar to a few other places that used to be closer to me so I took that as a sign to try it out. I called to find out the hours and they were as advertised. The lady on the phone was really sweet. When arrived, people were practicing socially distancing and staff wore masks. I checked out the menu on the wall (ran out of menus) and ordered an item that wasn't really on the menu but was similar to other things I saw. Ms. Janet said, "Triple delight, sure! I can make that". I kind of lost myself as I have been missing Chinese so much. I'm Addition, i ordered wings, a shrimp roll, and spring rolls (2pc per order). I walked around the area to wait for my stuff. 10 minutes later, I was leaving with a huge bag. She included a free soda with $20 plock-in. I got the food home and took a taste.... pretty decent. Not exactly like my regular spot, but it is definitely worth 4 stars. The triple delight came with its own separate pint of rice! All for under $12? With the other items, the total was only $20.25. Yes. I will take that! I will surely be back to patronize a decent place serving us in the lockdown.

Our neighborhood go-to Chinese take out all these years. Bet on General Tsao's Chicken, Bean Curd Tofu and Lo Mein with any protein of your choice. Amazing!

The food tasted old. The general tso didn't taste like chicken was in it, just dough fried hard. The Singapore mei fun was read for some reason and the pork was tough.

GREAT VALUE. CONVENIENT. QUICK. This neighborhood spot provides quick, tasty, consistent, and generous-portioned Chinese takeout options and more! Prices are great for the amount of food you receive. I always order for dinner and end up having a couple meals-worth of leftovers. It's not Michelin Star quality food, but the quickness, convenience, value, and portions render Ho Wah deserving of 5 stars!

Great Chinese spot if you're around the area. I would recommend their General Tso chicken without a doubt, extremely good. Their rice is flavorful as well as their chicken and broccoli. Stay away from their iced teas -- too sweet. The service is good, everyone is friendly. The establishment is extremely tiny so I would recommend ordering then going to get it. Don't let the appearance detour you.

This place is legit came threw in the clutch on super bowl night in the rain. Food was fresh and hot I felt bad my man delivered in the rain so I had to give him the extra tip for coming threw. Food was amazing chicken perfect size and taste great. Sesame chicken was one of the best I've ever had. I'm def ordering from here from now on.

I come here pretty frequently. I love the food here compared to the one down the street and the lady that takes the orders is really friendly. I always get the Sesame Chicken or Steamed Dumplings.

I always have the brocilli with garlic sauce, cause the veggies are crunchy not soggy, and the teriyaki sticks are pretty cool too. Of course the chicken wings and fries are always a must have from the kid's.

Quick, decent chinese food. Always a lot of food, a pretty large variety of items outside of traditional Chinese food places, and made very quickly.
