I stayed 5 days on the 9th floor ENT dept. The place is clean, right in the city center, and meals were well prepared every day. Huge thanks to Dr. My — super professional and really sweet. Also big thanks to Ms. Duyen, Ms. Tuyen, Mr. Hoang, and Ms. My — all super friendly, caring, and always ready to help. Really appreciate everything 🥰

⭐☆☆☆☆ Scam alert for foreigners. I walked past this hospital recently and thought it looked clean and modern, so I figured I’d keep it in mind in case I ever needed treatment. Out of curiosity, I checked the Google Maps reviews — and wow. Almost every single negative review says the same thing: if you’re a foreigner, they make up prices on the spot, and you get no official price list. Just a random number based on how you look. Multiple people report being overcharged or treated with clear bias. One even called it “a racist clinic”. That’s not just one angry customer — it’s a clear pattern. Looks nice from the outside, but don’t get fooled. If you’re not Vietnamese, stay away.

I gave birth at Hoan My Hospital on March 27th, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported and cared for. What impressed me the most was the excellent postpartum care and recovery support. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, always ensuring I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The postpartum room was spotless, peaceful, and very comfortable, which made a big difference in my recovery. I also appreciated how affordable everything was, with clear pricing and no hidden or additional fees — something that gave me peace of mind. I’m truly grateful to the entire team at Hoan My Hospital for making such an important moment in my life so smooth and positive. I highly recommend this hospital to any expecting mother looking for high-quality, respectful, and affordable care.

Don’t go there if you can avoid it! Went to the emergency room with the travel stomach bug. The first doctor did an ultrasound and said that my stomach was inflamed. The next doctor said he was very concerned and that I should definitely stay overnight, as I had very high fever at 38 degrees. I agreed on the terms that I would get a single occupancy room, or with one other patient at most. We ended up being four people in the room. No dinner served, nurses did not speak English, doctors English was too poor to communicate. Neon lights stayed on until 11p‘m with nonstop action, making it impossible to get a rest. Next morning I was served breakfast with shrimp and meat, despite the fact that I had specified my acute shellfish allergy. There was black mold in the bathroom. When I wanted to leave the next morning I was told to stay, as again I was told that my fever was too high at 37.5 degrees, which is only slightly above average. When I told the doctor that he could not keep me there against my will it took them another four hours to prepare my release statement. Never again !

surprisingly efficient service, especially after experiencing several clinics across SEA. I did an MRI here, which was not cheap, but still acceptable. it all happened fast and on time. I have zero complaints.

Mediocre doctors playing the international game. I went to get a prescription for a condition I have been treating for years. I needed an English prescription to justify these meds at the border in Australia. I know my condition well and I have always been prescribed the same for years. I told this old dweller going by the label of "doctor" what I exactly needed, and that this was my daily medication for many years. He then adopted this arrogant attitude and told me in an aggressive tone that "You are not the doctor, I am the doctor!!" And he prescribed something that didn't match my symptomatology and needs, despite I repeatedly told him what my medication was for the last 20+ years, and also showed him similar cases, papers and other doctor's opinion on the matter to support my claim. He then told me "Oh, you know too much about this condition ", to what I answered "of course, I've lived with it for many years, how couldn't I?". Then he offered me a "take it or leave it, I am the law" on a clear misdiagnose of my condition and show de force, acting like an offended teenager. So I accepted the deal given that somehow, his ego was wounded and he wasn't going to surrender to the obvious mistake he was making , despite I presented to him all possible evidences and studies.about my case. He just decided to give me a different thing to what I needed to prove me wrong and make clear who was the doctor there and who had the power, or who knows what mental derangement this should-be-retired play-a-doctor had in mind. Anyways, I can make use of the medicine prescribed by cutting the tablets and adjusting it to my needs, but this mediocre full of himself dated flowerpot, just denied my right to bring to Australia the 3 months supply I was lawfully entitled to. Lesson learnt. Next time: Prescription from a Public Hospital and official translation of the prescription given. Thanks for nothing, "International" Mickey Mouse Hospital. PS: The toll fee for foreigners is 418000 VND (A$25). You can get consultations for your prescriptions in Australia from A$15 (250000 VND). Another hint proving this "hospital" is just after your money, not for your health problems. SCAM

This hospital is very big and the staff is nice and gentle and I had a full examination and I especially liked Doctor Hoa from the eye department because she is nice and gentle also multilingual so we understood each other more clearly.
