Fun and informative walking tour by Ali on market day in Hobart. We love walking tours as get a more local view on history and current news in a city. We paid cash as more direct thanks to the guide.

Fantastic walking tour! Ali was a great guide with really interesting stories about Hobart. My husband and I have done a number of walking tours from the USA to the UK and Europe and this one stands out as one of the best!

Ali was very welcoming, friendly & engaging, with loads of local knowledge. Great start for those newbies to Hobart or Tasmania in general. We had a great time walking around Battery Point and Salamanca in the late morning tour.

Ali our Guide took us on an easy stroll from St Davids Park, through Battery Point and onto the Hobart Wharf all the while detailing the historic buildings and history of Hobart as well as pointing out his favourite eateries and coffee haunts. His fun and informative style kept our small group entertained and was educational as well. For anyone arriving in Hobart that has a spare two hours I thoroughly recommend taking this Two Hour Walk as it will provide you with a solid list of places to go as well as be a amazing introduction to Hobart and the warm welcoming people of Tasmania.

Spent a wonderful morning doing this tour with Ali. He was fun and very enthusiastic about Hobart. It's easy to see he loves his city. Ali took us to such interesting and out-of-the-way places. We were entertained with just the right mix of historical and heritage info and he gave us lots of genuine tips about eating places, best coffee etc etc. I can highly recommend this tour.

I recently took a walking tour of Hobart with HFWT, and I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the experience. From start to finish, the tour was well-planned, engaging, and informative. Our guide was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Hobart, and he had a knack for storytelling that made the tour come alive. He was also very friendly and approachable, which made it easy for us to ask questions and get to know the city better. We visited some of the most interesting and beautiful parts of Hobart, and our guide pointed out all kinds of fascinating details and hidden gems that we never would have noticed on our own. The pace of the tour was just right; we never felt rushed, but we also never felt like we were lingering too long in one place. I would highly recommend Hobart Walking Tours to anyone who is visiting Hobart and wants to get a deeper understanding of the city's history and culture. I left feeling like I had a much better appreciation for this beautiful city. Five stars all around!
