This was a wonderful experience! My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon one night, and the home was awesome. It very much give hobbit, comfy, cozy and somewhere I wish I could live. Nelson was awesome as he helped us with anything we needed! Room service is included, we did pay for the romance package (worth it) and the food here is TOP quality! It’s not going to be the cheapest but it’s definitely worth every single penny. I can’t boast enough how special this experience was and how beautiful the views were. 100% come support this wonderful destination, it’s a must. Also! If you’re not very mobile please be aware it is a lot of walking, but even hanging around the base of the hills you have all the opportunity to still see beautiful sights!

This place was sooooo charming that we spent all day here! Loved that we were served a first and second breakfast with our breakfast order. Just the shuttle ride up and down to the spot perched on the mountain is an adventure. All of the food and drink we had was fantastic and we are foodies. The details in the decor, everything was lovingly maintained, the gardens and the paths and numerous seating areas to just relax and pretend to be a hobbit were so tranquil. We even got to see the Volcán de Fuego smoking over breakfast. We had the best day. Wow, Guatemala, thank you for this place!

It's a cute place. I'm happy we were able to fit it in. A hobbit town-like park. You can explore it in under two hours. There are restaurants and bars there. Gorgeous views, great for kids. The ride there is memorable. Steep hills. But they had great drivers. Cost was Q120 per person, ride and entrance included.

This place is SO fun! Went with a group of other people I met in Antigua as a solo traveler and there was plenty to do/walk around. I would recommend you get a chocolate covered frozen banana while you’re there ;) Super cheap and delicious on a hot day lol

My 11-year-old son's review: If you are a fan of Lord of the Rings, you will love this awesome experience. First, I felt like a hobbit in the actual Lord of the Rings movie! Plus, the place that we stayed at looks exactly like Bilbo’s house because it’s short and has round doors. Even cooler, there was a GIANT swing that my dad said was exhilarating because it had a beautiful view with a good drop. Almost every night you get an exotic lightning show right outside your window where the lightning strikes nearby. If you want a great adventure in Guatemala, you will have one too in Hobbitenango.

I wasn’t sure what to expect here but I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed myself. My favorite part was situating on the luscious lawn and enjoying the live music. What would’ve thought bringing the hobbit village to life in the mountains of Guatemala would be such a great idea.? And I loved that it was just families hanging out like an everyday activity and wasn’t overly touristy. Very fairly priced as well.. considering what it offers, I think they could charge more! I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone considering it. Tons of restaurants and cafes nearby for a quick bite or a sit down.

The Hispanic shire. Yes it is legendary you can't go without staying in a hobbit hole. Great for 3 or 4 day stays. Anymore there is not mich to do elsewhere. Get a good book a snuggle up. The breakfast is amazing. Perfect protein and healthy.
