First stop of our trip was here, and lots of activities and great views to see. It does have a lot of tourists so make sure to arrive with time. If you don’t have a 4x4 vehicle be careful driving up there, you may not make it or get stuck. We knew we wouldn’t and parked halfway and walked to buy our tickets. Totally worth it for the views and even had a beer up there.

We had a fantastic two night stay at Hobbitenango in the yellow door house. The house was whimsical and comfortable for two and a third person who does t mind HARD beds as the extra sleeping area was hard. The service was phenomenal. The views from our house and the park. You could see everything in half a day. Staying there was a nice mid-trip break for us. The food was hit or miss. The salads, soups and pizza were great. Not someplace to stay long-term as it gets a bit boring but definitely fun for a night or two if you are a Tolkien fan. Go up to the summit area for sunrise and sunset!!!

We visited this place at the end of October, everywhere you looked it was lush green, it looked so beautiful. You do a lot of walking, and it's all uphill. There are a lot of things to do and see. We had great pizza here. The restrooms were very clean.

We came up here for an afternoon, and Hobbitenango itself was nice. Good amusement/arcade type of place. Interesting layout on top of a mountain. Q50 per person to get it...price included a steep drive up to the top and back. The reason for the lower score was that we had to take 3 different vehicles to get up there. Uber from the hotel to a midway point (Q67). Then, a banged up truck 3km up (Q80!!) to the spot to catch the third vehicle that takes you up to the actual park. It was stupid how obvious the tourist money grab was. Everyone gets a piece of your money.

⭐️ Hobitenango is a beautiful Lord of the Rings inspired attraction park located about a half an hour drive away from Antigua Guatemala. ⭐️Aside from the beautiful scenery there's a wide variety of activities to enjoy from archery to mini golf to live performances ⭐️ There's a lot of friendly staff eager to help you out and point you in any direction you need ⭐️ Food stands are good and hard to miss. There's a lot of little shops selling typical Guatemalan souvenirs ⭐️It's possible to stay overnight in a little Hobbit Home ➖While transport to the park was good getting back can be a bit hectic. ➖during peak season you might have to wait in line for some attractions

The restaurant there was unexpectedly delicious, 10/10. Lots of areas to chill around Hobbitenango but If I had to choose again I would skip it, felt mainly like a tourist trap/place for people to take Instagram pics.

This place was amazing! I went early in the morning, I did not get the meal included because I wasn't going to spend the whole day there. I spend about 2 hours here. I took a lot of pictures. There is a bar where I did have one drink. You get to walk a lot. There are so many picture opportunity's. I also had a big breakfast there. It was delicious. I enjoyed the view of the volcano, I was lucky enough to see smoke come out of it. It definitely is a must! Especially if you are in the lord of the rings and hobbit!

Breathtakingly beautiful area to visit. Lots of activities, sightseeing, and plenty of food/snacks to try. It’s included in a lot of day tours so check to see if there’s an offering online that has a stop here. Absolutely worth the stop
