This place is very kooky and hipster. It has fun prints, plants, and retro decor (e.g. old fashioned typewriters and phones).
We chose not to eat at their restaurant, as the menu is entirely vegan and vegetarian to fit in with their sustainability theme. I came to Stockholm to indulge in seafood and Swedish meatballs, so this was not for me.
Rooms are microscopic, which my husband and I are pretty used to at this point, having spent a lot of time traveling Europe on a budget. However, our room didn't have windows, and this wasn't advertised anywhere! We would have definitely paid a little more money for some natural vitamin D and the ability to wake up in the morning without feeling like disoriented zombies.
Since they're all about sustainable living, they only clean your room if you hang a sign on your door. I respect that, but we hung up the sign, and they didn't clean our room. It wasn't a huge deal. We were just annoyed that we had to request clean towels so we could shower.
Nonetheless Hobo is a decent budget friendly hotel in a super central location. We were able to walk to all of the attractions in Stockholm.
