These people saved my wife's life! Triaged, Diagnosed and sent to St. Gallen spital within an hour for treatment! Heart catheter and stints placed immediately upon arrival from Wil spital. The staff was completely professional and friendly.

Both me and another friend of mine, have hurt our ankles and been treated at this hospital. I’ve hurt my ankles a couple of times in the past and have come to realize the basic standard procedure is crutches for 2 weeks or so, with physical therapy following. This hospital told us to, “walk it off”, prescribing pain killers and an ankle brace. Although I’m not an expert by any means, or anywhere close, past experience feels 100x more competent. At this hospital they weren’t able to give me a full diagnosis beyond, “there are no broken bones”. I am disappointed in the hospital’s performance.

Absolutely horrible I went there in a lot of pain to the emergency room on 27.06.2022 , the secretary was kind enough to try a few words of french with me. When I entered the room with a nurse, she yelled at me for not talking in german!! Mind you we are both swiss and if it was not for the severe pain I was in I would have never went to this hospital! She basically kicked me out of the room and was pointing at a line on the ground like I was some deaf person, extremely rude, if she did this to a young person like me that goes to university, I cannot imagine how she treats older people or people that do not speak any national language at all. I was just crying in the waiting room. Then they found me a doctor that spoke french, he helped me with my symptoms but basically went on « jokingly » about how I should learn french and people from the french-speaking area are lazy to learn the language! Never go to this hospital if you don’t speak fluent german, they will just add to your misery

I went several times to the emergency and was always treated with courtesy and felt like the personnel was competent and committed to do high quality work.

A small church withing the Kanton Hospital premises. They do have small installments of worship of other religions as well like of Hinduism, Jewish, Buddhism.

Very nice hospital. I would recommend Dr. Martin Früh from the oncology/pneumology Excellent proffedional. Very up- to date
