Beautiful experience The tour was very well organized. Carl and Ella both were exceptional in explaining, supporting and encouraging all of us through the zipline tour. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The price may seem high but once you reach and go through the 2.5 hours awesome experience then you will totally forget about the money and take a boatload of great experience with you. Thanks Carl and Ella once again for making the tour awesome.

Google
Unbeatable experience.. It’s one of the best Zipline tours I’ve been on. Canopy tours operations department really had styled in. I had a low bar set, but I was thoroughly impressed. It is truly World class. Speaking from an operational perspective, They nailed all the details, from harness us up to safety checks, to smooth, professional tour guides, they even watered the dusty roads down, so you don’t get caught and clogs of dust when being shuttled back-and-forth from line to line.. Thoroughly impressed special shout out to my guidance Riley and Ian.. they were fantastic. I will definitely take my family back sooner than later.

We did the Original Canopy Tour and it was incredible! Skyler and Ella were amazing instructors and guides. The tour starts out with getting geared up and a practice run that is not far off the ground. They teach you everything you need to know for the course. The course was about 10 zip lines and 3 sky bridges so it was worth it for the time spent on this adventure. Ella and Skyler were also great entertainment while we were up there. They remembered everyones names, gave us fun facts and even had some funny jokes to entertain us. My son is 10 years old and he had an absolute blast! I personally am terrified of heights but felt so comfortable with Ella & Skyler that I almost forgot how high up we were. Maria was also great - she took us to and from the course and was an excellent driver. We would definitely do this adventure again. Well worth it!

Mandy and Hannah were so AWESOME!!! Not only were they knowledgeable on about the trails and zips, they made the experience for our daughter relaxing and unforgettable! They took the time to talk to her and calm her nerves at the beginning. In addition, their focus was on our safety the whole time with a sprinkle of dry humor that we really liked. Because of Mandy and Hannah, our "Family Adventure Weekend" was unforgettable, loads of fun, laughter and memories. THANK YOU!!!

We got rained out the first day. The company offered either a full refund or to rebook. We rebooked for the next day. We couldn’t get the same guides, whom we really liked, and I felt bad for those girls because I had already put the tip on in advance so I just gave them cash because they were so conscientious. The next day we had two young guys who the kids really liked, Luke and Carl. Carl joked around a lot while Luke shared lots of interesting facts about local flora and fauna and made small talk on the platform so it was a less awkward experience on the platform. This is definitely a superb experience and a must-do to put on anyone’s list if you are in the area! It would be a fabulous fall experience!

Amazing experience! The canopy tour was beautiful and really fun. Olivia and Sara were awesome guides! They were knowledgeable, amusing, and made me feel at ease when I was nervous. Would definitely recommend!

Google
Great X tour with Xandra and Jo. 11 great zips with information about each one so you know how high or how long you were going. Great sense of humor. With the coupon provided, we also enjoyed the super zip, which was a lot of fun and a great way to end our visit. We were able to book the day before, but times were limited so if you know a few days in advance, go ahead and lock in some tickets .

We did the X-Tour. So much fun! Xandra and Sara were our guides and they did a phenomenal job. They kept it exciting, and fun. This is a must do while on Hocking Hills. Highlight of our stay!

Yelp
Our family of four had the best time ziplining with the Hocking Hills Canopy Tours thanks to our incredible guides, Olivia and Alexa. It had been 20 years since my husband and I last zipped, and this was the first time for our kids. When I asked my risk-adverse husband if he wanted to go, he responded, "Well, if my family is going to die, I guess I'll go die with you." Spoiler alert, no one died... From the moment we clipped in, Alexa and Oliva created an atmosphere that was safe, welcoming, and hilarious. Alexa led the way on every zip, setting the tone with her perfect mix of local lore, cheesy puns, and one-liners that had us cracking up. Meanwhile, Olivia held down the back of the pack like a true pro, making sure we were all clipped in, comfortable, and calm. Her timing was spot-on, both with safety checks and with humor. When a tree limb blocked the final zipline, Olivia didn't panic--instead, she broke the tension by asking the deeply philosophical question: "What's your favorite type of door?" (saloon obviously) We did the "Original Canopy Tour" since it was our kids' first time going, but honestly wish we had gone for the more high-adrenaline X tour. The whole operation was organized with a focus on safety, making all of us feel comfortable. We took advantage of family pricing by going on a Thursday.

Yelp
A pretty intense jaunt across the sky with an incredible view of the Hocking Hills. Just like yesterday, the staff here are fantastic. The guides were Ian and Kyle, they are super smart and helpful. Their patience is what we needed and received. At our age, safety is a big concern. These folks ensure it and restored our confidence. Not an easy task. We are talking seriously of coming back and doing the X tour. We now have another destination for next year. I know it shouldn't be said, so I left it for last. I truly believe Yelp's silly ass policy of no selfies should be changed. We have dozens of photos of the three of us having a blast that would benefit this business and the people reading this experience. 04/25

Yelp
This place is SO AMAZING! I wonder if my friend Katie Smith has ever been? Not sure but I hope so! Always a pleasure working with you all! Very friendly and easy to do business with! And of course I love to go zip lining! So much fun! Love you guys and gals!
google avatar

Deana S.

Yelp
Kids dragonfly zip line was great! The staff was very helpful. Very reasonable priced. Only downside is that the longer tours get booked up fast.
google avatar

Yelp
I had an absolute blast zip lining at Hocking Hills! I did the original canopy tour, which was about 3 hours long, but they offer several other tours as well. My tour guides, Mel and Olivia were hilarious, friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable. With this tour being about 3 hours long, I feel like it is worth the money. They do also offer slightly cheaper rates on weekdays and discounted rates for children 10-15 years old. Beautiful views of the trees and Hocking River. Definitely would recommend this experience if you're visiting the area!

Yelp
If you're thinking about zip lining this is the place to go. Staff were professional and very friendly and extremely good with the kids. We did the super zip and you should Superman it for sure. Thanks for the great time.

Yelp
Zip lining is one of those activities that is just inherently scary: You're way up high in the sky, and the only thing stopping you from plummeting to the ground is a body harness, a couple of carabiners and some rope. But I have one kid who enjoys taking calculated risks like this, so he jumped at the chance to go zip lining when we were in Hocking Hills. I have another kid who is less adventurous, but he didn't want to be left out, so he joined in the zip lining, too. Luckily, Hocking Hills Canopy Tours offers a kid ropes course. The kids' course is certainly way off the ground, but not too intimidatingly so. It's called the Dragonfly course, and it is perfect for young kids. It offered enough adventure for my more daring older kid, but it was easy and felt safe enough for my less confident kid. It was the perfect first ziplining experience! The Dragonfly area has ziplining, but also a ropes course that loops around. So kids start at one area and make their way through different obstacles in the sky. As they go, kids are zipping over areas, balancing across bridges, and soaring among the trees. It is so much fun. My kids went through the course at least four times and wanted to go again. The people who were working at the Dragonfly area were the best. They really knew how to communicate with kids, and explained the rules and procedures in a way they could understand. They also were great at putting my anxious kid's fears at ease. At one point, my youngest got stuck at one point of the ropes course, but they didn't make a big deal about it, and were talking and joking with my kid the whole time to keep the mood light. The Hocking Hills area is beautiful, and you really get a taste of its beauty here as you experience it ziplining and making your way through the trees.

Yelp
So I've visited this Canopy Tour in the past with someone close to me. Today I returned, solo, for another go at it. Now, yesterday was my first tandem skydive so honestly I was a little worried that zip line might be a bit of a letdown after that - NOT TRUE! Wow, I had an absolutely great time at Hocking Hills Canopy Tours today! So keep in mind that this is a popular place, so it's very important to make reservations. Their web site is easy to get those reservations going, but if you have difficulty with it the people in the office are super friendly and can talk to you on the telephone too. The first thing you might notice once you pass the entrance signs is a steep hill to drive up - no worries, it's a well maintained gravel road. At the top it opens up to a spacious parking area and nice, flat grassy grounds. Once you've checked in with the office, you'll be able to meet up with your guides for the tour. They will walk you through the process of strapping on your harness and help you with it to make sure you're wearing it correctly. Afterward, everyone in your tour group will go through a "ground school" with your guides teaching you how to safely participate in zip lining. These are knowledgeable people so pay attention - it will help later! Soon, you'll be transported to the fist zip area. From that point you'll pretty much be "zipping" from tower to tower, or tree to tree, departing one platform for another via steel cables which you are hooked into (remember that harness you put on earlier?) As with any such adventure activity, there can be an element of risk involved, so be sure you understand this and if you have questions be sure and ask. We had a tour group of 7 total, which included a family of four, two other folks, and me. None these three subsets knew each other, but by the end of the tour we were all taking and getting along great! This has been my experience at similar adventure outings, whether rafting, kayaking, skydiving, zip lining... you get the idea... it's a real bonding experience, even with strangers! Remember I mentioned I've been on zip tours before? Well what really made this tour stand out, were the two guides: Justin and Montayna. They both had a fantastic sense of humor, clearly love their jobs, & encouraged camaraderie among all the participants! This made the day extra fun and, for a solo visitor like me, a whole bunch more comfortable! I'd return just for that. Hocking Hills Canopy tours also offers Segway tours although I've not participated in that activity. Also available are several different zip line tours. The one I selected was their "X" Tour. It's close to home base so I'll likely return some time!

Yelp
A great little zip line package near a number of other Hocking Hills sights. We did the "Original" Canopy Tour, which is a number of zip lines mixed in between rope bridges and platforms in the trees. Before you start your guides get you all gear up and give you a quick class on what will be expected and how to do it. There was nothing hard about this tour, just a lot of fun! Our guides Ama and Raquel were great, they ensured everyone's safety through the whole tour. Both were constantly passing in information about the trees, flowers, wildlife and the Hocking River. They also told a lot of jokes to keep everyone laughing. You both were awesome, keep doing what you're doing!

Yelp
We finished our original canopy tour about 4 hours ago and we are STILL talking about how much fun we had. It was me, my husband, our 15 year old daughter, and 13 year old son. From our ahhhhhh-mazing guides, Cheyenne and Dani, to the fun zip lines, gorgeous views, and awesome camaraderie with our fellow adventurers, our experience was top notch from beginning to end. Things to note - You WILL learn how stop and many safety items before you are asked to zip line up high in the trees. If you are lucky, you'll get incredible guides like we did who will tell funny stories and make each stop feel like an experience. Short shorts won't be a good choice unless you really really really like wedgies. Closed toed shoes are required. They will hold your important items like keys so you won't run the risk of losing anything out on the course. Seriously though, if you are thinking about booking this adventure, do it! You won't regret it.

Yelp
The X tour was great! It took about 2 and a half hours to get through the whole thing and there is a lot of variety on the different zip lines. They take you through trees, planes, high zips, low, over water, and even a through a cave! As some of the other reviewers have said they take safety seriously which I appreciated and felt secure along the entire trip. Another plus is that they take pictures and email them to you for free which is different from many zip tours! Our guides were informative and entertaining and it definitely added to our trip!

Yelp
Absolutely exciting and awesome experience. This is a must do if you are visiting Hocking Hills. We visited Hocking Hills on the week of Independence Day weekend. We were group with kids. We weren't sure what things to book before arriving. But this was one of the items in the list. We stopped by 2 pm asking for super zip. As we don't have reservation, we were told to stop by 3 pm for walkins. We did checked in for super zip for two people and dragonfly for two kids. You signin for waiver and pay at the desk. You will be taken to the zipline course for super zip in their vehicle. Only people doing zip line will be allowed. We had few taking kids to the dragonfly when two of us went to superzip. After climbing to the top of the tower, actually it was little scary so decided to be going in seated position than flying position. But the ride for exciting and fun. After doing it we were up for another one. While we were taken back to remove the accessories, we were telling the staff we should have for packages with multiple rides. The staff was really nice and said we can mark wrist band with additional ride and can charge while going back to office. It saved us time. We went for next one in flying position. Next time I will be back for other rides like Segway adventure as well. They send some free photos of the ride to your email. Great service and awesome staff.

Yelp
Amazing staff and my kids had a blast on the dragonfly course. We had to come back for a second time!

Yelp
Me and two friends signed up for the X-Tour and joined up with a group of 6 others. We have all ziplined before, so there was nothing scary about this. It was really fun! When you make a reservation, they ask that you arrive 30 minutes in advance. I don't think this is totally necessary if you sign the online waiver ahead of your arrival. We basically got there 30 mins early, checked in at the desk, and were told, "you're all set, you can just wait here until we call your group". Make sure you use the restroom before beginning the tour. The 11 zips are of different lengths, heights, and scenery. Each zip lasts about 10-20 seconds each, yet the entire experience does indeed take 3.5 hours: you start with putting on equipment, going through a demo on how to brake and pull yourself in (if you zip short), 11 different zips, and ranger transport back to the start. Much of the time is spent waiting for the group of 9 to take their turns one by one, but we were never bored. Our guides were Zach and Sadie. Zach was the outgoing talker with a lot of energy, and Sadie was the calm one who made sure we were safely clipped on every time. They do not take safety lightly here. Many times the guides stated, "you/we can't do that or we'll get fired". Meaning, they don't mess around with the rules because your safety is of utmost importance. On the last zip, they will take a picture of you hanging over the river, and the picture is included in the cost and is emailed to you after your tour. You also get a snack at the end (your choice of Nutri-Grain bar, Special K Pastry Crisp, Lance peanut butter sandwich crackers, Quaker granola bar, Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies, Rice Krispies Treat). There is 1 platform that requires climbing a few stories of stairs. There is a water station at the first platform, and another on the 7th platform. They do not recommend taking your cell phone with you for pics, but you can do it if you have a zipper pocket and you know it won't fall out. Adventures like this are worth the money - it's not something you can do just anywhere, so why not splurge on something different and fun!

Yelp
Zip Lining was on my Mom's "bucket list" so we booked the "X" Tour and the "Super Zip". Both are highly recommended "must do's". The X Tour was 11 zip lines and was amazing. It had various lengths and speed and the view was amazing! The Super Zip was an adrenaline rush and over by the time you relaxed and enjoyed it. You almost have to do 2xs in a row. The facility and staff very organized, friendly and safety oriented. Our tour guides, Zach & Shelby, took very good care of us and made sure we felt comfortable w/ the zip lines and made sure we ahead a good time. The took especially good care of my Mom and made sure she had a blast w/ her bucket list adventure. I would highly recommend HH Canopy Tours and will be going again.

Yelp
I went on the Hocking Hills Original Canopy Tour and it was one of the best things that I have ever done. My tour guides were Todd and Kentin. Not only were they quite friendly, they were also funny and very knowledgeable about the trees and surrounding areas. I plan on going on going on the "X" tour and the "super zip" tours in the near future..... I definitely recommend Hocking Hills Canopy tours to anyone looking for some outdoors fun for a few hours. I also suggest you request Todd and Kentin as your tour guides
google avatar

Ijah M.

Yelp
We had the best time on our X tour with guides Ama and Cheyenne. I have a fear of Heights but by the 3rd zip I felt completely at ease, I was able to relax and enjoy the rest of the tour. Our guides were knowledgeable not only about zip lining but about plants and wildlife. If you're looking for a quality zip lining tour Hocking Hills Canopy Tours will deliver and if you're looking for the best tour guides I suggest Ama and Cheyenne.

Patrick D.

Yelp
This was a great time. Kristan and Nolan were awesome instructors and our whole group had fun. Even the little one at age 11 who was scared to start ended up volunteering to go first on the longest of the zip lines bc Kristen and Nolan spent time with her to make sure she was comfortable.

Yelp
We loved the entire experience. We went with a large school group and from start to finish they had our backs, calmed our nerves, and made us feel comfortable. Lucy and Roni did a heck of a job and we feel extra fortunate they were our guides that day. Safety was always their biggest concern and we will definitely be going back! Priceless!
google avatar

Jill H.

Yelp
Great trip. Ian and Red were amazing guides. We did the X tour and it was so much fun, and would love to go back and do it again

Gracie F.

Yelp
We had so much fun on the X canopy tour. I went with a bridal party and we felt so safe, laughed so much, and enjoyed our tour guides. We had Kylee and Kentin and they were hilarious. We got to learn about the trees and nature as well as hear some funny stories that I am not sure were true. Thank you for a great experience!
google avatar

Justine H.

Yelp
Maddy and Justin were amazing. They were entertaining and promoted a very safe experience. I definitely will be back for the x tour and want Maddy and Justin to be our guides again.

Yelp
Recently had a trip at the end of July 2020 for my sons birthday. Even with covid and special guidelines our time was amazing. Both female adults and both children (boys 5 and 11) all enjoyed and we can't wait to go back again. Both adults chose the super zip and kids chose firefly, both worth the money! All workers and all attending had on face masks (when not in the water), the workers made sure people adhered to the governors orders and everything was constantly sanitized. Make sure you pre buy any tickets ahead online due to limiting how many people can be allowed on at once and walk ins are not always able to fit in.

Yelp
Take the leap!!! So. Much. Fun. I did the Xtreme tour with a small group, and had the BEST time. Our guides Josh and Miller really made the tour -- quick with the jokes, super entertaining and kept things moving right along so you never felt like you were just cooling your heels for too long. I don't know how, but they managed to remember the names of everyone in my group by the third zipline. Speaking of the lines, we crossed lakes, rivers, caves... good range of terrain and line lengths. The most memorable, though, has to be the last zip of the day, done Superman-style over a lake. Thrilling, to say the least! I love Hocking Hills Canopy Tours also offer a dedicated Dragonfly course for little kids. My son is 9, and while I think he's love zip lining, the big course would just be too much for him. The Dragonfly, on the other hand, would be perfect. They also offer Segway tours for those who prefer to remain on solid ground. Would definitely come back and do this again next time I'm in the area.

Estella G.

Yelp
Cheyenne was such an amazing guide for the Segways. A group of 4 of us were visiting for my husbands 40th. There was a range of comfort and nerves and Cheyenne was an amazing coach. The tour was beautiful. Weaving through trees, prairies , and stopping to see some things along the way was awesome. 10/10 recommend
google avatar

Kelly P.

Yelp
My husband and I each did the "superZip" and personally, I thought it was overpriced. You go down one time only and it lasts maybe 30 seconds. Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but not $30 fun. My son (7 year old) went on the kids course and had a BLAST; wish I could've gone on his course instead!

Yelp
I'd never been on a zipline before and was nervous due to my fear of heights but the staff are well trained professionals, and the multiple people you see doing it, helped ease the nerves very easily. We did the Super Zip and Original Canopy tour and both were amazing! Our guides, Roni and Montana, kept us entertained and did an excellent job with communicating the safety aspects the entire way when it was necessary! I never had a doubt when it came to safety so my fear of heights never was an issue with jumping off the platform to zip amongst the beautiful trees and river! 5 stars for the entire staff and activity is an understatement!

Tori L.

Yelp
The canopy tour we did was awesome thanks to the guides we had: Skyler and David. They entertained us with nature facts and dad jokes and made sure we had the best experience!
google avatar

Trish l.

Yelp
We had a fantastic crew this weekend. Cheyenne and Taylor were so much fun. The zips were really cool, plenty of them, the views were beautiful, the price was worth it and our guides added to our fun. We were a large group who can be a bit overwhelming but they fit in with us like we had known them forever. I also LOVE that they take your pictures and send them to you for FREE, most companies would charge you a fortune and a lot of people would not buy them and miss out on those photo memories since you can't take your phone (for obvious reasons). That tiny little thing is a HUGE customer service win. Thanks "Tammy" and Chey, your friendliness and fun made a great visit even better!

Yelp
Did you know that in order for a cave to be considered as such, there must be a point within the space where the light no longer reaches? Few caves actually meet this requirement, leading to the misnaming of many landmarks. However, no one wants to visit Old Mans Hole or Ash Crack. They say that there's not much to do in Ohio. And they're right. But if you look closely past the Hocking River through the forest, you'll find a zip line course situated beneath the canopy. Take a tour through the thicket of trees as you zip past gorgeous scenery accompanied by punny commentary given by your two guides. Learn about native trees, Ohio's only tropical fruit , and the top three cleanest rivers in the state by way of play on words, all the while 70+ ft in the air. Learn to love the feeling of your family jewels squeezed tight into your safety harness, as it's the only thing that's keeping you from pulling a Wile E. Coyote into an oncoming tree. The beauty of Hocking Hills Canopy Tours is that they are able to capitalize on the innate human desire to be airborne despite our clear lack of wings, offering several different zip lines for those with more of a wild side, including the "Super Zip", which is a one-and-done zip line that reaches 50 mph. My clan was content with the classic Canopy tour and had an absolute ball of a time, large in part due to our tour guides, Ben and Carl. While it may seem daunting to allow a college kid to click you into a high speed death trap, these kids are trained professionals, both at giving zip line tours and providing quick jokes simultaneously. Celebrate the ending of your journey with a graduation ceremony complete with diplomas that cost less and are worth more than your college one.

Yelp
We did the off-road Segway tour. It was beyond expectations. Not only did we get plenty of off road time but also walked a cave and learned a ton about local plants. Would do it again for sure. Its well worth the money.

Yelp
Did the extreme Zip and couldn't of been happier. It was a super hot 90° humid day, but all the sweat was worth it! Loved the views, heights and professional gear. Picture package was fun to have as well. Jasmine and Maddie had us laughing and entertained the entire tour, even though we were their last one of the day. Thx girls!

Yelp
My husband and I visited Hocking Hills for a small day-long getaway and had a BLAST at the Hocking Hills Canopy Tours. We did the X-tour and highly recommend it. We originally booked the 1:10pm tour, but we when showed up at 12:30pm as instructed were told that our tour was cancelled (no one else had booked this time and were too few guides to accommodate both tours) and we were joined with the 1:30pm tour. Though we didn't mind this, the staff in the clubhouse offered the opportunity for us to experience the Super Zip Zipline while we waited at no additional cost. This was so kind and professional of them and we sincerely appreciated the chance to experience the Zipline. It was awesome and the staff who helped us (Country, Shorty, & Devon I believe?) were wonderful. Now onto our X-tour. I can't say enough about our wonderful guides- Ryan & Aly. Both were so much fun. Ryan was a blast. He should actually consider a side-gig in stand up comedy! Shoutout to Ryan's mom, Ann, well done in raising such a fun, bright guy! (You'll understand this if you go on Ryan's tour). As for Aly--she was sweet, patient, and so at ease in her role. We loved chatting with her! Now for the course itself: we had never ziplined before but had a blast and caught on quickly. Our X-tour consisted of 11 zip lines with one taking you into a recessed cave! Our guides shared interesting insights into the nature preserve along the way which only added to the experience. While we were placed with a larger group (which made wait times a bit more as you waited for you turn to go), the guides kept the humor and conversation flowing so you never felt bored. We had a fantastic time!!!

Yelp
Amazing experience from booking online, check-in, getting our equipment, to the super zip! Our zip attendant was hilarious and so fun. We will definitely visit again! Super zip= super fun!

Yelp
I called on a Tuesday to make reservations for 2 Dragonfly tickets for the coming weekend; knowing it was likely going to be busy (Easter/spring break weekend). I was told reservations weren't needed. You could just come in any time from 11-5. We showed up that weekend and was asked for our reservation information. When I told them that I called several days prior and was told no reservations were needed, they said, "Yeah, we're really busy now. So now you need one." Or we could wait two hours for a time slot; which was not an option because we had to have rentals returned by then. Perhaps you shouldn't misguide people... always take a reservations from someone who calls days ahead regardless of "normal" practice. *** All of the people standing there getting to take their kids ziplining that day all obviously inquired AFTER us!
google avatar

Audrey H.

Yelp
Justin and Claire were our ziplining guides, and were funny as well as informative. I felt completely safe as they were consistent in their instructions. The views were beautiful, and the various zip lines were high, long, and fast, and we saw deer as we passed, a pond, the river, and of course the waterfall in the cavern we entered. Such a fun day -- my teen loved it.

Yelp
I went last week and I still keep thinking of the fun time I had. It was such a blast. When you watch people do it, it don't look like you're going that fast. When you actually do it, you go a lot faster than it looks. I will be back to try the other zip lines they have to offer.

Yelp
Hunter and David were fantastic tour guides for my first ever canopy tour. I'd never done zip lining like that and I was certainly nervous when I got up there. Hunter and David were confident, safe, and supportive, as well as fun and entertaining. The tour lasted a couple of hours with various lengths of zip lines and bridges, and my friends and I had a blast. It was exhilarating and fun. I'm afraid of heights but felt secure with Hunter and David. Thank you! I had so much fun on the original tour that I want to come back to try the X Tour. I think we'll be back the next time we are in the area! And this time, I think I might also bring my kids (both almost 9) to do the Dragonfly course. It is definitely worth the money and the time!

Yelp
We did the original canopy tour, and it was full of excitement. If you're someone who's scared of heights-like me- and are questioning whether to go or not, definitely do it. Our tour guides, Brit & Justin were very helpful and kind, and they assured us that we were safe the entire time. Expect great conversations, free photo ops, many good laughs & a little adrenaline rush.

Yelp
I just loved the canopy tour guides. They are so much fun, and clearly love what they do. Don't forget to tip! While I am not at all impressed with the desk staff, I think it's worth just getting through your short time in the office. The place gets packed, so schedule online or over the phone and get your group plans set in stone before you ever arrive. You'll thank me if you follow this recommendation. Don't bring a lot of loose stuff with you. They'll just make you empty your pockets and place it in a lock box for the tour. During the tour, you won't have the luxury of messing with things like jackets and such. If it's chilly, windy or drizzling, plan your outfit and stick with it. While they will allow cameras, they get attached to your person with cords and can only be accessed intermittently. They tell you to arrive early for your appointment time. I've never seen a group start at the time stated on the reservation, so I don't see a lot of benefit in arriving early unless you have business at the desk, want to get something to eat in the bar, browse their shop for t-shirts, or play corn hole with your friends out front. You will have waiver paperwork to fill out. When they do call your group, you will walk to the training area and suit up. They will run you through the basics at the line that is only feet above the ground before ever taking you to the actual ropes course. The course itself is quite long and is well designed. Depending on the time of year you go, the views change, there are some good elevation changes and you really are back in the peaceful, wooded area. They take safety very seriously and as long as you follow their rules, you will have no troubles. Only the guide is allowed to touch your safety line, and it is always connected at all times. The rope bridge is fun, and you do get a couple long, fast lines out of the tour.

Yelp
This was my first zip lining experience and I am hooked!! We booked the 9:20 time and was grouped with a family of four, none of us had ever zipped. Our tour guides, Leif and Adam were patient, funny, knowledgable and reassuring. We completed the original canopy tour in about 2 1/2 hours, but we could have done more! It was so beautiful out in the tree tops and the smell of fall leaves was abundant! Next time ... I will bring my camera. I was afraid that it would be too distracting or that I would drop it, but the guides tie it on a bungy cord and then you can keep it in the pocket of your jacket until you want to use it. Definitely wear comfy clothes!!

Yelp
A three hour zip-line 'tour' of Hocking Hills, from a bird's eye perspective! There are 10 zips and 4 sky-bridges (beware, the guides love to shake things up with a hop now and again). Then when the 1.5 miles is completed, you get to rappel back to ground level. Group photo opp! Prior to the adventure, your guides will walk through a little training session. Mostly to make sure your gear is properly attached and that you are comfortable stopping on the cord. The training session is pretty quick, but rest assured, safety is number one. There is no way you could fall. That cord and clip holds up to 300 lbs. At least that's what they say. I think that was more to avoid anyone who is too large (and therefore non-athletic and easily winded) from participating. They confirmed that the exact cords and clips we were using could hold the weight of a car-obviously more than 300lbs. It wasn't as athletic as I anticipated, but still an amazing experience. It was beautiful, fun and perfectly comfortable. Bring your camera! The guides will take your picture when you fly in, if you want. Btw, it's $75 for the 3-hour tour. The season is April 1-November 30.

Yelp
Did the X-Tour today. Not all that different from the regular tour but does have a few better, longer, faster lines. Johann and Todd were great guides. Would ask for them if I came back. From check in to the final ATV ride back to the shop everyone was super nice. That last ride down the river is really cool. Not as long or fast as others but just being over the water is great. Great way to spend my 75th birthday. And with my daughter too. Cannot ask for better.. ...

Yelp
Was extremely disappointed we drove over 2 hours to visit and your establishmentsnt was extremely over prices and there were wait limits for everything. Makes something this is on the heavier side fell very very bad about them selfs. I do not think we will ever return to this place totally a waist of a drive!!

Yelp
We have never been zip lining before. Our friends have been to Hocking Hills Canopy Tours so we choose this company based on their recommendation. We choose the X tour. It was a lot of fun. Miller and Sara were our guides. I was so nervous in the beginning but the guides were very safety conscious which put me at ease and I was able to enjoy myself and have fun. Even a 47 year old woman can canon ball it down a zip line! I was nervous that zip lining would be jerky or one of us would get hurt but it was not like that at all. It was very safe. So if you are on fence about going zip lining.......do it!

Yelp
Did the original canopy tour. Would highly recommend this one for beginner zip liners like myself. My fear of heights diminished as the course went on. By the end of the tour, I wanted to go more! Will be back for sure. Jay and Sam were great guides! Well worth the money! Also, bring bug spray. You're welcome.

Yelp
They did a great job! Regardless of skill set/experience level, they got you covered! Todd & Kellen were our guides; they were great!
