I would definitely recommend this hotel. The amenities are great, and you’re treated as royalty from the moment you check in. Margaret, the pool bartender, is a sweetheart. But so is the rest of the staff - I wish I knew all of their names. I recommend staying in the Imperial area if possible. But again, 10/10 recommend food, service, CLEANLINESS (most important to me), pool, massage etc.

Would 1000% recommend. The staff treats you like royalty. The price is nearly nothing compared to what you are receiving. Food, bar, pool, service, and cleanliness (Most importantly) are all 10/10. The staff is just amazing, from check in at the Imperial, to Margaret at the bar, to the breakfast and restaurant staff.

The staff is so nice and provides excellent service every time I visit! The staff Pedro s, Pedro r, Aymet , Gilfredo and Miguel c go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience during your stay here. The breakfast is excellent! Highly recommend!!

My wife and I returned back to this hotel and I must say it does not disappoint. I will start with the Airport Shuttle Service. This has been the best shuttle service I have received in all the Dominican Republic. They were already there waiting for us. No Delay at all. We arrived to the reception area. Again, Rafael was there and gave us 100% Customer Service alone with everyone else. Again, I would like to point out other employees in the hotel like Margort at the pool deck bar area. She is the best and always with a smile on her face. She prepares the best drinks. 5 star service. Hilary is another super employee. She is the Host in the breakfast area restaurant. Always, receiving everyone with a Good Morning and a smile. Another one who should be consider an employee of the month. If she hasn't received it already. We also meet the General Manager of this hotel, Mrs. De La Rosa. I made it my business to meet with her to say how much of a great staff she has in this location. She was very kind and took the time to speak to us. Now I know where her staff gets all the magnificent training and education. I will definitely return to this hotel in the near future. I do recommend this hotel to everyone I know. This location is the best in all Santiago.

The welcome I received made me feel like walking into a family reunion. The staff is attentive and courteous. Now to the restaurant. I ordered pork ceviche (YES TRUST ME). Why would we limit ceviche to fish or shrimp. Spectacular. The goat stew? Dad was in the kitchen. Now on to drinks. Jason (bartender). Just say what’s your mood and a drink will match your energy. All of this…. With a smile. I’m coming back.

Amazing hotel, amazing amenities, the views where awesome, the massage is worth every penny, room service is truly 24 hours and is amazing, only complaint I have is that while up at the pool I sat down at a table ready to order drinks n food n the waiter just stared at me never coming over to ask if I needed anything so after about 15 mins I just went down to the hot tub where a very nice employee turned on the bubbles 4 me, and the other complaint I have is the valet, sometimes they were blind or acted like it, I would pull up in my car they would just look at the car I would have to walk in to the front desk everytime to tell them to find me a valet it was that or they would take there time retrieving my car, other than that 10/10

Hotel Hodelpa is one of the best in the Dominican Republic! The staff are all super welcoming and friendly from the front desk to the housekeeping to the bar staff! They truly make you feel part of the family. The pool area is fantastic, but wish the pool area music would play more local tunes or traditional music, this would make the stay in Santiago more down to earth and special.

I frequently stay here for business. This is the hotel that the company I work for contracts us to stay. Stay here 2 to 3 times monthly and I have to say it is always a great experience. The staff from the front desk, housekeeping, bartenders, servers,maintenance, tailors security, concierge are all such pleasant and helpful. The accommodations are comfortable the cost of food beverages massages are all very fair. I always feel very safe and very welcomed.
