I recently visited this German restaurant, and while the atmosphere was fantastic, the food was a mixed bag. The cozy, rustic decor created a lovely vibe, making it a great place to unwind. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall experience. I ordered the beef stroganoff, but it was a letdown. The meat was overcooked and lacked the rich flavors I was hoping for. However, the schnitzel was a standout! It was perfectly breaded and fried, tender and juicy, paired with a tangy potato salad that really hit the spot. In summary, while the food didn’t always impress, the atmosphere and service made the visit enjoyable. If you’re looking for a cozy spot to hang out with friends, definitely check it out—just be sure to go for the schnitzel!

Food is generally good. I have had a few occasions when things are cold mainly the pork shank. Everything else though is excellent the schnitzel is massive but very good. Pretzel are excellent. Sausages are very well seasoned. Try it if you are in the area.

Very cool place to eat in Cleveland! Had some local dishes and some more traditional dishes. The pretzel appetizer was warm and delicious. The mustard sauce was a nice pairing. The pierogis were savory and super filling. The service was also great. Overall the vibes are really cool, and I would recommend this place for both getting apps and drinks or sitting down for a nice dinner.

So excited to have vegan and vegetarian options. I really wanted perogies more than anything, but they were out of stock. I tried pretzels appetizer with all three sauces. The mustard was my favorite, followed by cheese, and didn't like the Obatzda (cream cheese that tastes like sugar cinnamon frosting). I got the vegan bratwurst, which comes with a salad. It said you can substitute for a charge, so I asked to substitute with the vegan 3 bean chili, but they said no. So I added it to my order instead. The bratwurst looked so underwhelming. It tasted okay but I wish it came with sauerkraut or something on it. The salad is what you'd expect from a salad. The chili was good. My family had meat dishes and thought they were just okay. Overall, I think the good wasn't as good as I expected. The entertainment was fun. They had a live band, which we really enjoyed. The beer was good. The tall is a liter and short is half liter.

This is the Hofbrauhaus , if you’re looking for the real Beer Hall experience you’ve come to the right place. Having been to the original in Munich and other branches this is a great version capturing the vibe and atmosphere. Food is fine, pretzel fries etc. but that’s not really why you come. Beers were great, live music was loud and shots and beers while standing on the benches and tables were all expected. Rude hostess at entry almost ruined the night as we didn’t have a reservation, fortunately the outdoor bartender smoothed it over and bought us a round. Made a reservation on the app for 20 mins later and went in. Seating is beer hall style so don’t expect a table to yourself unless you’re a large group. Some of the food items were not available as they had run out but the pretzel was fresh and the fries were good. Beer was as I remember it. Definitely worth a visit!

Google
Food was great, dessert was very tasty. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star rating was the waitress gave our appetizer to the wrong table, so we had to wait and everything arrived at once. And the seating was a bit strange, as we were seated with complete strangers. But that's just my personal feelings some maybe just fine with that arrangement. All and all I would recommend giving it a try.

Google
Milwaukee and Buffalo still hold the top rankings in my German food cities rankings. I had high hopes, but my Food was mediocre, but the Black Forest Cake may have been the best I ever had. So it’s a trade off. I had the white sausage with pretzel as my main meal. Sausages were just okay. Their casings were tough, which is a turn off. I had to take the casings off. The pretzel was just a simple ballpark fair pretzel which was surprising. The sweet mustard was very good so it livened the pretzel up some. I also used the sweet mustard on the sausage which improved the experience. Now let’s talk cake. The BF cake was awesome. Just look at my photo of it. As for the Hofbrauhaus location, it is right next to the Playhouse Square Parking Garage so this is a fine place to grab a bite before a show. I wish they were open later so I could get another piece of cake after the show. I was here on a Thursday, when they stop serving food at 9.

Google
You don't come here for the food! It's about the experience. Big tall Steins of beer served by girls and lederhosen and guys doing shot skis while standing on the table is just the beginning. The music is the chicken dance, a couple polkas, hang on Susie and everybody getting up on the tables and dancing is what this place is about. I actually wanted a good meal that was disappointed with the chicken paprikash that I got. I would come back again for the experience. A fun night

Yelp
Wow what a place!! So hard to decide what to get. One of my mates came here two nights in a row to satisfy his craving for German food. We ate Hofbrauhaus two nights in a row also, but it was leftovers for day 2. Great tasting food and drink for sure! Serving staff wear costumes to give you a feeling of old Germany. Parking seems to be scarce, we walked there from our hotel.

Gary A.

Yelp
While the service was good, the food was mediocre at best. The dumplings were barely warm and the sausage that accompanied it was overcooked and tough. The restaurant is warm and inviting with its German decor and the staff dressed in German garb. The atmosphere is pleasant. Definitely way over-priced.

Yelp
We recently dined at Hofbräuhaus in Cleveland and had a mixed experience. We started with a large warm pretzel served with beer cheese and mustard, which was absolutely delicious and probably the highlight of the night. Honestly, I could have made a meal out of just that pretzel! We also ordered the sampler platter, which was okay but nothing outstanding. In hindsight, I would have preferred to stick with the pretzel. Everyone in our group enjoyed their entrees, but I didn't take any photos. As someone who has had homemade pierogis in Poland(yes I know this is a German place), I can say these were good, but don't expect them to be on the same level as your grandma's. When we arrived, we were told that only reservations could be seated inside, and we would have to sit on the patio. While we were on the patio, we checked and saw that reservations for inside seating were available starting at 4:45, 5:00, 5:15, and so on. We were seated at 4:40, which made no sense, especially since half the dining room was empty. Negatives: * Service was slow, which was disappointing. * The reservation policy was confusing and frustrating. It didn't make sense that we couldn't sit inside when reservations were readily available for the same time. * When we arrived, we were given four menus and pointed to a door by staff with no further directions. We had no idea what to do, which added to the overall confusion. Overall, the food had its highlights, but the service and seating issues took away from what could have been a great dining experience.

Yelp
Another 5 star visit! Best place ever as far as proximity to playhouse square! We had sauerkraut balls for an app & they were delicious! Then the paprikash flatbread and Jaegerschnitzel which is gigantic, enough for 3 people! The service was great also! Love coming here for German fare!

Yelp
I've been to Hofbrauhaus several times - both for group outings with friends and big events like Oktoberfest - over the last few years and have always had a fun time! The beers always hit the spot and the food is so comforting. My favorites are the sausage specials, pretzels, and schnitzel, but everything is pretty good! The spacious hall with communal tables, authentic Bavarian attire worn by the staff and the live music add a fun energy to the restaurant! There's also a large outdoor space that's great in the warmer months.

Irishgirl E.

Yelp
This place is super cool and the environment is awesome. Just know that when coming here you are definitely coming for the environment and energy rather than the food. The pierogies are definitely the best thing out of the batch of food we ordered so I would order that if you are in between things or do not know what to order. I felt personally that everything just lacked flavor and the chicken sausage as well as one order of the pierogies came out cold. I was a bit disappointed as there weren't more house made mustards, on the table was just bottled yellow, stadium and stone-ground mustard but the homemade mustard and beer cheese dip with the pretzel were good. As for the sides, I would skip the sauerkraut. i was super excited to get some with my meal but it was just bland but the house potato salad was AWESOME and really unique and flavorful so I would order that if in between sides. This place is really awesome and could be a great place for a drink with friends and everyone is friendly and energetic. Just expect the food to be average or below and maybe stick with some shareables for the best experience!

Yelp
Hofbrauhaus is a really neat place to meet up with friends and colleagues. It's setup of course like a German building so you can't miss it if you haven't been here before. Inside is all decorated with German motifs. The seating is communal but plenty of space between parties. The menu offers something for everyone. We started with the hot fresh huge pretzel and fondue like cheese. Cheese dip was creamy and went nicely. (1 is enough for the table if you're ordering dinner). We ordered the Cod and pierogis plate and our friend ordered the sausage plate. Portions were generous and pricing reasonable. However flavorful, we were disappointed with the potato pierogis as they were very tough, chewy and difficult to cut; almost hard when they should be soft. The apple strudel and Black Forest cake were excellent! We had a nice casual relaxing time. Server was very nice as was the hostess when we entered. Plenty of epicurean delights and craft beers to choose from! TAKE NOTE: There is no free public parking!! The lot across the street is $15 and HofbH valet is $20. Your best bet is to take Uber here.

Laura F.

Yelp
Really cool vibe. Great ambiance. Okay service. Didn't get to see the band. Great beer! All the food we tried (the sauerkraut balls 2 entries 1 was paprika chicken the other was some type of pork roast and black Forrest cake for dessert) was really bland, kind of artificial tasting, lackluster and fairly expensive given the quality. I probably wouldn't be so disappointed except I ate at the Hofbrauhaus in Las Vegas about 10 years ago and remember it being SO much better then this last experience in Cleveland

Melanie V.

Yelp
Very large indoor and outdoor space conducive for large groups and kids alike. We came in for a few beers and had a great lunch. The jagerschnitzel was delicious albeit a bit salty with the gravy. The sausage tower gives you a little bit of everything a highly recommend. Potato soup is hearty and very good. Lastly the kids chicken tenders were great, hot, and served fast. Enjoyed our kind waitress and the live music that came along with the ambiance. High fives for a changing table in the bathroom!

Yelp
Good but not great but acceptable!! I finally was able to visit the Hofbrauhaus in Cleveland and it didn't disappoint!!! While their hours of operation and menu have changed, I did have a good time and experience while here for a quick business trip. The Hofbrauhaus Cleveland is owned and operated by the State of Bavaria just like their Las Vegas and Munich locations. While the Munich original has been open since the early 1500, the Vegas location just opened less than 15 years ago. Comparing the Vegas location to Cleveland the winner is Las Vegas due to a more authentic ambiance and feel. Both places brew their own authentic German beer according to the German Reinheitsgebot and you can tell by the fresh taste. Give them a try while in town!

Debby J.

Yelp
My husband has been dying to try this place for awhile. We stopped in after catching a show at the playhouse. Its location is conveniently located behind the playhouse. It was rather late when we got there on a Friday night. Walking in I could tell this probably was a fun place for big groups and some drinks. For a couple out on a Friday night , not as much. We were seated on one end of a long table down from two gentlemen. It was not crowded at all when we arrived. We ordered the pretzels of course which I thought were just ok. My husband enjoyed them more. As for the food, my husband thought it was absolutely delicious. He loves German food though. Me, not so much. It was hard to find something on the menu for myself. The service was ok. Server was not friendly at all. It was late though, maybe she just was ready to get out of there. Bottom line, if you're with a group of friends and love German food, this is your place. My husband would love to go back. I would give it a second try if I had to.

renee p.

Yelp
The seating at this place is the worst. Went here for a New Years event. The seating is like 30' long planks of wood - unpadded bench seating. Super uncomfortable and if you're seated in the center you need to ask 6 people to scoot off the bench so you can get out. That's ridiculous.

Steve M.

Yelp
Fantastic place! A slice of Munich right here in the heart of Cleveland, Ohio! The main beer hall is what you would expect. Tons of tables meant for sitting (and standing, which you will do often). Haven't eaten here yet, but the menu looks extensive. The beer is spot on. Definitely a place you need to visit!

Sara C.

Yelp
Got the tower and it was amazing!! Big open room with cafeteria style seating ( big wooden tables)

Jack Z.

Yelp
Service is bad and slow. And then the max time to be at a table is 2 hours. So by the time you have pre-dinner drinks they tell you that you don't have enough time left to order dinner and they kick you out. Would not recommend, go somewhere with actual atmosphere, not a German chuck e cheese

Tony M.

Yelp
Ambiance was great. Everybody drinking having a good time. Service was great. The food... meh . If you want to hang out with family or friends this is a great place to grab a beer. I loved that there was a live band playing.

Yelp
This is a fun place to go. They had live music inside and outside. It's very festive with notes of German traditions. It's a bit loud but entertaining. The guitarist outside was fantastic. The food was decent. Only complaint was the bus boy took away one of our plates that still had food on it and we were planning on eating. We didn't realize until he already placed another dish on top of our food. Grrrrr. He never brought us a replacement for the potato cakes we purchased and he threw out. The waitress was great. She was outgoing, fast, and efficient.

Yelp
Just ok, this time around... We've been to HBH CLE multiple times when in town for The Tribe (yes, I said The Tribe) and it's generally really good... This time it was a 3.5/5.0 stars or a Dave Portnoy 6.7/10.00 - A little disappointing because HBH CLE is always solid. While the service, vibe, and atmosphere were good (as usual), the food and beer was a little off this go around. Our food itself tasted good (minus the fries - they were soggy), but the restaurant was out of a lot of items, namely all the German sausages... They only had bratwurst and nothing else. Also, the beer tasted a bit off too. We had a couple 1/2L Dunkels and they didn't taste quite right... They had a strange metallic after taste. Additionally, we took a growler of the lager home - That beer was good, but they short-changed us on the pour; we didn't notice it until we got home (it was poured quite a ways from the top of the growler; guessing they didn't let the beer settle before capping it). All-in-all, HBH CLE was kind of a let down this time... Hoping/guessing they just had an off day, because all our other visits have been good.

Raul P.

Yelp
It's Hofbräuhaus! I've been to many and always had a great time. I was cruising solo so the hostess lady was quick to point me to the bar for seating. High in the seat, but I had to turn around most of my visit to watch the band, dancing on benches, or the ski shots! Great time and next thing I know I'm walking back with tons of souvenirs!

Alan M.

Yelp
A cool place, huge, airy, clean, wonderful service from a pleasant staff. We went on a weekday afternoon so, can't speak to what it would be like if the place was packed and rockin'. Nephew got the veiner schnitzel & loved it. Aunt got the Reuben & loved it. I got the Jaeger Schnitzel and it was tough like shoe leather, with an oversalted breading and served over lukewarm to cool, spaetzel. So, kind of a buzzkill. Their sauerkraut balls appetizer was pretty good, like mini deep - fried, Reuben sandwich balls. I'd go again just try something besides that Jaeger Schnitzel.

Kim G.

Yelp
My husband and I joined by friends had a fun time at Hofbrahaus! The serving sizes were plentiful and quality was very good overall. There schnitzel dishes are much tastier than other items on the menu per multiple visits here. The chicken paprikash was good but not great. Beer was excellent per usual if you like German style pours. Service was good. The band was lively and patrons were doing shotskis (group shots taken off a gigantic ski) everywhere you turned. If you're looking for a lively night out with friends, Hofbrahaus doesn't disappoint.

Elise F.

Yelp
We took a party bus here for my grandmas 80th birthday because she loves polka music. People were dancing and taking shotskis all night long! Loved the live music, loved the environment, and loved the food!

Barbara D.

Yelp
I really wanted to like Hofbrauhaus Cleveland. We were in Germany a few years ago and had a wonderful time with wonderful food; don't expect that here. First of all, when the band was playing, the music is literally deafening -- could not hear the waitress, even though she was yelling and we were in the back furthest from the band itself. Could barely hear the person right next to you -- so conversation among the five of us was impossible. Rhetorical bands in Germany are not close to this noise level so people can enjoy the music and dance and diners can enjoy dining, talking, and laughing. They need to change this! For Christ sake, they could easily REDUCE THE NUMBER OR SIZE OF SPEAKERS!!! I'm sure that volume level is hazardous for their workers exposed to it on a regular basis. Now to the food...the potato pancakes were good and appeared homemade and the chicken dinner was excellent. The currywurst, on the other hand, was awful. We recently were in Northern Germany, where currywurst is very popular, and the currywurst was so delicious we ate it at many places. Those from street vendors were far superior to this concoction which was nothing short of horrible and looked & tasted nothing like the currywurst we had or any pictures I saw online. The sauce was not a thin, tangy tomato-based sauce with curry, but a thick bottled barbecue sauce with only a slight hint of curry. I cannot believe any self-respecting chef would serve this and we should've returned it. The chicken dinner was very good as was the bratwurst. The ruben was not the generous portion you'd find at a deli, which is OK, but flavor & texture was a B and for $17 it was definitely not worth the money. Even their apple strudel with a cream sauce was nothing higher than a B. Though service was friendly and quick and the beer was very good, I cannot recommend. Does the manager of this place ever taste the food? Sadly, I would only go back for a few appetizers when there's no band playing.

travis g.

Yelp
Beer was very good. Food is also generally good but cannot comment on this experience as they kicked out our party of 9 after only beers and appetizers. The say it is a 2 hr limit per table, and we had our bill set down after 90 minutes. There seem to be plenty of other tables, and my pregnant wife sure wishes to have tried the food, but alas, they wish for other customers. Very disappointed in our service/treatment overall. Pure production value over quality which seems to have taken over the modern era of service. We wished to stay here and spend more money on meals and drinks, but were not given the chance, I would assume 9 meals and 1 liter beers would be sufficient to keep a table, but evidently they saw otherwise. I am not mad about the drinks and appetizers we had, rather disappointed about what the night could/should have been for both the facility and my party. If there is a next time, I can only hope their practices have improved.

Steve S.

Yelp
This was a fun place and I'll be back for sure. Saturday evening after 6 gets fairly crowded and loud. Love the live music! The server wasn't overly friendly, but she knew her stuff and took care of us. My two chief complaints are portion size (small) and parking. I suppose they can't do much about parking, but it's part of the equation when coming here. Paid $20 for the valet + tip. Next time I'll park across the street for less. Pierogi was good as was the pretzel appetizer and sauerkraut balls. I got the short lager and it was tasty. Check it out!

Alex H.

Yelp
Overall a solid place. We got seated in what we joked was the "no reservation room". The larger main room had live music going, and what seemed like plenary of seating (long tables, bench style seating). The quieter back room ended up being fine for us. The lady who seated us was very to the point, but our server was very nice. I don't really have a lot of complaints. The cider didn't seem crazy hard (I didn't get a buzz). And the serving sizes seemed a little small, but I didn't leave hungry. Nothing tasted bad, it just wasn't a "wow" for me. So I think there's room for improvement but definitely a solid experience already in place!

Jon L.

Yelp
I had been to the location in Munich back in 2007 and had a great visit with Ben & James. I also went to the Las Vegas location in 2010. On this visit, I was joined by Reese Sr & Joanna. There are so many brewery options in Cleveland but they decided this was a great opportunity for our post RR H of F dinner. We had some sausages and the Goulash. The service was exceptional and it's a very popular place in a great location. It's a German Biergarten which is unique for most beet drinkers. They follow the German purity law so you know it's authentic. They have a huge outdoor patio. There is very limited free parking on the street. There are multiple surface lots you can pay for. The best we found was $10 for 2 hours.

Stavros F.

Yelp
Authentic German dishes, good service, in an Oktoberfest atmosphere. It's good option if you have a big group.

Dianne M.

Yelp
We had a lovely dinner Sunday after seeing a play at Playhouse Square. I had made reservations because I had heard it can get really busy. It was about 3/4 full and lively. Live music from a German band and the layout lets you see everyone there so lots of energy. I had the Perry dinner with red cabbage as a side and my husband had one of the sausage dinners. Both were very good - tasty and hot. We shared a strudel to go and it was large enough for two. The only downside was that the music was so loud we couldn't talk without yelling. Good music but...

Amy J.

Yelp
Legit German fare with interesting activities several nights weekly. Tons of joy and merriment here in an open dining hall with frequent live polka music too! Friday night is the stein holding competition for example. Delicious jagerschnitzel which is perfectly crispy and yet juicy inside with accoutrements- fried onion strings, cranberry sauce, and the mushroom gravy of course. Delicious beer also available in flights. The spaetzle in bier cheese was ungodly creamy and so flavorful. The currywurst had an interestingly sweet curry sauce all over a large hot dog (wiener?) and fries which was worth trying once but not amazing. The hot bacon salad dressing, on the other hand, is to die for!

Ralph P.

Yelp
The food was good but not stellar. We were hoping for something more than mediocre. The waitress was nice but rarely seen. I've never been to Germany but the ambience seemed very welcoming.

Caleigh S.

Yelp
I'd like to start off by saying the food here is button-bustin, belt-loosenin, tummy-smackin delicious. My friends and I came here right before the Paramore show a couple months ago and just looking at these pictures is making me salivate. Service was a bit slow that day, but they were slammed and seemed understaffed at the bar so it was entirely understandable. My previous experience there had been far quicker so overall I'd say the service is pretty good! Due to how large the restaurant is though, I probably wouldn't come here if you're on a time crunch. I'd describe the atmosphere as a cross between a tavern and a huge cafeteria. Large benches and big wooden tables lay the restaurant out in a matrix of friendly faces. All n all, food and beer are both incredible, the shotski's are super fun with a group of friends (though its much harder when the shortest friend decides to sit in the middle...) and if you're not hard pressed for time, the service speed is fairly on par with the average restaurant.

Jorge I.

Yelp
This place was super cool! Their drinks were also super crisp and yummy, I can easily finish a 1L without feeling bloated. However, the hostess up front was so rude. She was this old german lady that refused to sit us on a table because we told her we were only getting appetizers and drinks. She wanted us to get full meals in order to get a table, mind you the place was not packed at all since we came in around 3pm and there was no live music yet. Anyways, the experience was completely ruined because of that lady.

Joseph G.

Yelp
The beer isn't bad. Everything else was bad. One dish came out warm since it was sausages in boiling water. Chicken paprikash and the sausage platter was cold and was sent back. The pork shank came out 20 minutes after everyone else's and was not cooked. It was not roasted so that the fat melted and made it tender. They basically deep fried and that was it. It wasn't edible. They comped the lamb shank and half off the other two dishes. The entire experience was disappointing. Save yourself time and go somewhere else. There's a lot better options in Cleveland.

Mary C.

Yelp
Saturday the 22nd 5:30-The food was terrible. We had the Schnitzel and it was so dry we could have used it as a frisbee. The service was good and can't go wrong with beer we also had the sample platter. My husband's and my dinner just bad.My daughter had the half chicken dinner and said it was ok. We also had the tower dessert and it was good. We were celebrating my Husband's 65th Birthday i just wish the experience was better. For what we paid we could have been compensated some way. It was not terribly busy and the band was playing .

Matthew P.

Yelp
Had a blast at the Hofbrauhaus. Beer was great and food was decent. My group really enjoyed their selves.

Drew K.

Yelp
Had dinner tonight and drinks. We got seated at 8 and food arrived at 9:30. You could tell the food had been sitting for a long time before they brought it out. Everything was cold brought are starter out with the meal. The French fries were soggy, potatoes and sausage was cold. Don't waste your money ordering food.

Nicholas W.

Yelp
After visiting the location in Munich, I was very excited to visit this one that is about 2 hours away from my house. Since I didn't have much time, I wanted to enjoy a Bavarian lager at the bar and place an order for takeout. Upon being greeted at the host stand, I was told that they were too busy for takeout food tonight. They sat the party of 4 who was right behind me after I was refused service-- I am not sure how they were too busy to accommodate my single takeout order but can provide table service for 4. My experience at Hofbrauhaus in the US has now clouded the experience I had in Munich. My Fiancée and I celebrated our engagement at the one in Munich and I went to the one in Cleveland to potentially relive some of that experience. I might be back to the one in Munich one day, but my experience in the US has been very negative.

Tiffany G.

Yelp
We went for the krampus party and had a great time! Lunch table seating and good service despite being jam packed! The Jaeger schnitzel with mushroom gravy and bacon was savory and addicting. Fun to watch people doing shotskis, live music and overall a cool place.

Isabel H.

Yelp
Hofbrauhaus it's definitely a fun place to go with friends. Given the large size of the restaurant, it's fantastic for large groups of people. That being said, it can definitely get quite noisy on a busy warm afternoon. The first time I went there, I was with a large group of people, and shared the large pretzel and the potato pancakes. The potato pancakes were very yummy, and the pretzels were also very good. I definitely needed the Dijon mustard though, I felt like it was a little bit dry. I also had a cocktail, which was very yummy. I returned to Hofbrauhaus for a more proper dinner. We had a reservations on a Friday night at 7 PM, which was a good idea, because it was very busy when we got there. Apparently it was polka night, so it was really loud and rowdy in the hall. We opted to sit out on the patio and enjoy the nice weather. It was definitely fun to listen to the music through the open doors, as well as see some of the fun activities they had going, like a beer holding competition. I shared the sausage tower with a friend, and thought that it was a good way to sample different food. I liked most of the sausages they included, aside from one that had cilantro, which I don't like. They also included two pretzels, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes? I wish the mashed potatoes have been warm: they were cold and also had a sour flavor. The sauerkraut was a little bit underwhelming as well. We also got a side of the pierogies, which were very delicious. The Currywurst was also incredible and the fries perfection, though the sausage was a bit salty. Both times I've been to Hofbrauhaus, I have struggled to get the attention of the waitstaff. The first time I visited, it wasn't even that busy, but it took forever to order, and even longer to even just get a pretzel. The second time I visited, it was even more challenging, given that we were sitting on the patio. The food came out quite quickly once we were actually able to order though. I would definitely consider coming back and trying more items on the menu. I would highly recommend making reservations if you plan on going.

Yelp
It's ok if you know what to get and what to avoid. I don't like the fries they have some weird seasoning. The beer is good and atmosphere, that's what you go for.

Yelp
Reading through some of the reviews, looks like hofbrauhaus may be hit or miss. However, we came Wednesday night for dinner with a large group of around 10 and had a fantastic male server! Food is probably more of a 4 but vibe/energy is a 5. Not sure about a lot of options in this area that offers a great atmosphere for music, dance, large group gatherings, and shotskis! Wednesday was schnitzel Wednesday and it's a large portion for $12.99. Especially in our current economy, that's a great steal. One dish can definitely be split between two people.

Yelp
Made reservations and we were sat right away. Took the server a bit to come to our table- we had to ask for straws with our drinks. Pretzel appetizer was very good- came with 2 different cheeses and mustard. Food was ok- pork was somewhat tough and spatzle a little dry. It is a fun environment.

Yelp
Decent place for a quick bite and brew. The staff were very kind when we reached a few minutes past their kitchen's closing time : we couldn't be seated but their attitude was so friendly and professional.

Yelp
Atmosphere is amazing. Polka band was so fun. Food is average, nothing to write home about. Americanized European food. Beer was great. A fun night out. Service was slow.

Yelp
What a real treat this was! Came across Hofbrauhaus essentially out of the blue, not knowing they had more locations outside of Germany. Been to one's in Berlin and Munich and it has the same life and feel. The service here was really bad but whatever! Hah.

Yelp
Great food and entertainment. The service was fast and courteous. Very easy to get to and plenty of parking.
