Hofbräukeller

A very large beer garden with an efficient outdoor food and drink ordering system. The food and experience is authentic and it creates a fun, social atmosphere. We’ve been a few times and could always find a place to sit even though it’s been busy.

Wonderful place and ambience. Waiters are very kind and sweet. Food is not at top but has a great variety. Restrooms are clean and big. Overall a nice experience, food could be little better.

Real deal traditional beer and food experience. In warm weather, the best biergarten in Munich (as I was told by a long-time Munich resident). It is just the right size, about the size of a squared-off football pitch. It is shaded by many leafy chestnut trees and features a walk-up bar. Inside, bierkeller atmosphere with tradition but not kitsch. Service is optimal. I had a superb Kellerbier (I am a BJCP National beer judge) and Obatzda (spiced cheese blend) served with pickle, radish, brown bread and fresh lettuce. Really quite excellent all around.

Very gemytlich..Beer is great , but minimum 100 cl in top-heavy glass ( after 15h) is hard to our old arms. We had bratwurst with sauerkraut, I loved it , my wife less so. But a memorable evening in a garden by the river

A fantastic place to truly enjoy food and drinks from Bavaria, all while sharing the atmosphere with thousands of others spread out across the huge garden and restaurant. This is a must-visit if you're spending time in Munich. The service is amazing – the men and women working there are absolutely running themselves ragged on nights like these. Huge thanks to Antonio for helping us find a table for two, even though it seemed like there was no space for us. What a great guy!

Great place with a lot of space and a beautiful garden, great atmosphere!!! Good beers although not a big selection. The food was ok but I was expecting a bit more honestly. Quiet average overall.

Beautiful day with a table on the patio overlooking the huge trees with their gorgeous canopy and outdoor lights...beer service is better than the food service.

The service by Antonio was exceptional!!! Very attentive, friendly, helpful and on top of it all the food was amazing!!! I definitely recommend coming to Hofbraukeller for great beer, food, service and ambience!
