Hogan's Hangout

Hogan's Hangout was amazing! We originally came in for a snack, prior to our reservation at another local restaurant. We got a taste of how fresh and good the food was here at Hogan's, and shamefully kept eating, and we're too full for our dinner reservation! We especially loved the loaded nachos, and the burgers were out of this world! A special shout out to our server, Brandon who was a terrific host, thank you for taking such good care of us. We will definitely be back to Hogan's Hangout when we visit Clearwater.

Very tasty food, great service by Sam, our server, and all around cook atmosphere. The gift shop is a few stores down from the restaurant. The restaurant has a rooftop bar, but we didn't try it on this visit. Ask about the specials of the day, we got a burger and fries for a reasonable price. Very nice of them to extend Military Discount. Really cool spot.

Great little restaurant with Hulk memoribilia everywhere and wrestling videos playing on all the TVs. We got there at noon on Saturday and had no wait. Food was good. Beer was good. Server who sat us was a snot ball but our waitress Kim was nice. Not real friendly or talkative but nice. All the servers seemed like that. We had the buffalo chicken dip and it was very good. It has shirts and bobble heads for sale but that’s all. The actual store was around the corner.

Many options along this road. This one is themed after Hulk Hogan. A few tvs had his wrestling matches showing. Food was decent but not distinctive, drinks were good.

I love Hulk! lol this place is fun to escape the beach and hang for an hour to grab drinks and some food. We got the combo platter (wings, fried pickles, mozzarella sticks and chips with salsa) my bf ordered it but I would’ve gotten something with more protein. The mozzarella sticks were amazing! They’re fat and lightly breaded which is how I like them, some of the best I’ve ever had. The chips and pickles are something I’ve never been a fan of so that why I gave it 4 stars. Our waitress told us Hulk comes on Mondays for karaoke and he is the judge. I love this! Too bad we’re not here long enough because I would love to meet the legend!

We went because of Hulk Hogan theme. The prices are a little high but that is to be expected with the location and theme. The food was better than we thought it would be. The services wasn’t bad but wasn’t great. We could have been at any restaurant… the hulk theme fell flat. There are decorations and Tshirts forsale. The wait staff could make it more fun and memorable. Overall food is good but too expensive… if you are a big fan check it out but don’t expect much from the theming. Check out the Hulk store it’s more fun than the restaurant. If you’re going for the food it’s probably not the best choice.

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING BROTHER....As a lifelong wrestling fan, I traveled all the way from Long Island, New York, to visit Hogan's Hangout during a time of mourning for a wrestling legend. I was so glad I made the trip. This spot is more than just a restaurant; it's a place of community where fans can celebrate and feel at home. They also take their karaoke very seriously, which makes for a really fun environment. The food was absolutely delicious. The fried pickles were perfectly crispy, and the chicken sandwich was very good. It was also great to pair my meal with a real American beer. If you're a wrestling fan or just looking for a fantastic meal in a welcoming atmosphere, Hogan's Hangout is the place to be. It's truly a spot where you can chill out and celebrate the spirit of wrestling. I cant wait to visit again. Hulkamania forever!

Quincential beach vibe meets sports hangout! I ordered the sample platter which includes 5 wings, 4 Hulk-sized mozzerella logs, fried pickles and chips and salsa. I opted to have my wings tossed in garlic parmesan sauce with a side of their hottest wing sauce. Everything was perfect and super tasty except for the pickles. This isn't a slight against the cook, I just don't like fried pickles as much as others do. I almost couldn't finish it - that's how large the platter is! Hulk's light lager on tap was also surprisingly good. Much better taste than Bud Light or Miller Lite. Try it! You'll like it!

HOLIDAY FAMILY VACATION IN CLEARWATER ADVENTURE!!! We stopped here for lunch as they had a Thursday special @ 10$ for a Philly steak and fries. This was a great deal price wise for us. The ambiance was dismal & dated. I am not sure if it's from the recent storm or if it always looks this way. It was like we were in any other beach eatery. Rather than in a famous wrestlers pride & joy restaurant. Sodas & tea are 5$ with free refills, but they only had soft drinks and unsweetened tea, nothing else offered on their menu was in stock. Most of us got water as we did not want soda or unsweetened tea. The Philly steaks were actually yummy and so were the fries. We all enjoyed our Philly steak sandwiches & fries. Service was ok we had a pretty simple order with only two changes. No cheese on 1, no onions on a second and the other 3 were as they came. I had to repeat it a few times to make sure the server got it right. The food all came out correct!!! We would def eat here on a Thursday Special again, but would most likely not return for the other menu items offered. Most dishes were around 20$ or higher and for the dish options offered at those prices, none were really enticingly prompting us to want to return. You are definitely paying for the name of the establishment. Rather than the food and its quality. Most dishes they offered I felt were at a 5-10$ mark up, compared to other establishments that offer the same dishes. All in all it was a nice meal at a Special Thursday price and we enjoyed the food!!! Food to value ratio for this special = great!!! Drink to value ratio = Poor. Service was OK at best. Not to mention Jimmy hart and hogans son stopped in and our waitress disappeared for a while. I will give it to her tho she did acknowledge it and apologize for the delay as she was informing us of who came in and why she had a prolonged absence from the restaurant floor. All in all if you can get this lunch Special... TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

Breakfast. Great server super nice. Got egg white omelet. Was good grits were nice a little bland. Not a bad place

Since moving to Clearwater, this has become one of my favorite places. I wasn't sure what to expect at first but quickly found that the food itself far exceeds what I presumed would be bar food. The service is amazing and the staff are always welcoming and funny. As is the Hulkster himself. It is my go-to place for Main Event Karaoke on Monday Nights! The atmosphere is amazing! Being right there off of Mandalay and Clearwater Beach there is always a nice mix of people. Kid friendly, even for karaoke. You don't want to be that person that gets the gong!

I was a little skeptical coming because of all the recent bad reviews. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised. A large group of us here for the IAFC conference came here to eat. We had mozzarella sticks, buffalo chicken dip, nachos and buffalo shrimp for appetizers. All were very good and nothing was left on the plates. For dinner, there was a wide range of menu options that were chosen. The turkey club had a plentiful amount of turkey. It was so good! The lobster stuffed ravioli was a very large portion and was so mouthwatering and creamy. A friend of mine had the blackened salmon with cole slaw and said it was fresh and delicious. The chopped steak with mushrooms and gravy was the perfect comfort food and flatbread pizza was crispy and delicious. The atmosphere was pretty cool but a little too loud for me and the service was excellent, especially considering we had 30+ people. They gave great recommendations and were on top of everything! I'd come back if ever in the area again.

A large variety of options on the menu. Food was great! Prices were a little more than some other restaurants in the area, but average. The staff was friendly and nice. Hulk hogan decor of course. They also have a large variety of adult beverages. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

We had great service and great food! We went back twice actually. We had the sliders, nachos, chips and salsa, and the Philly Cheesesteak. All were honestly great and the girls who served us were phenomenal. I would recommend going up to the top deck if you want away from the crowds. The bottom was packed and when we got off the elevator upstairs we were the only ones up there.

We came for some relaxing cold beer it's not a fire so cool off some sitting down. This is a really cool place and we found that they had Hulk Hogans beer yes you read correctly! It's really refreshing and crisp especially when it's hot. Our waitress was very friendly and though she was the only one behind the bar the service was amazing!

Made brunch reservations on open table for 10am for Sunday brunch and when we arrived it was only us and another table. Not very busy for brunch. My husband and I ordered the main breakfast meals and they were ok. I asked about lattes and their machine was broken so she offered me a cold brew with milk. It was pretty good but was disappointed I could not have hot coffee. Cute and clean restaurant with fun Hulk Hogan statues, and service was very good. Noticed many people would come in to buy a t shirt and leave. Will give it another try soon.

Went for lunch today & it was an awesome experience. Our waitstaff was amazing. They were so friendly & happy to help. We had the beef tacos, sliders, a burger, & kid's chicken tenders. Everything was great. Get a burger if you go here! The burger & fries are classic! They have fun Hulk decor & lots of souvenirs. Don't forget his store is right down the street! Loads of memorabilia in there! It's just a fun time even if you're not a wrestling fan.

My sister & I enjoyed this place for many reason. Our server Krysti was friendly. All the hulk decorations were awesome. We shared the country fried chicken steak with eggs & hash browns with a side of pancakes. Everything was good except we had 1 undercooked pancake. They also have all you can drink bloody mary's for $25 which I definitely took advantage of. Great spot! We wanted to stay for the lunch menu as there were many options!

Had a great lunch here on my visit to Clearwater. Seated right away and there was so much memorabilia to look at. From signed celebrity photos taken with Hulk to a life size Hogan bobblehead. We ordered two lunch items...Cuban Reuben and the Hangout burger (subbed OMG sauce instead of BBQ). Folks...this burger was fantastic. Was perfectly cooked and was just an all around great tasting bar burger. I opted for chips and salsa which was also a great side and not as heavy as fries before heading to the beach. Had a bite of the Cuban Reuben which was also very good. Really great spot to grab a burger and beer while watching a game. Will definitely be back on my next visit to Florida.

Awesome place! Amazing food!!! Burgers were outstanding!! Breakfast was delicious! Service was perfect!! You can't beat the price!!! Love it!!

Went on a Monday night. Downstairs was packed for Karaoke night so we opted to go to the bar upstairs. There were only 2 bar tenders that were working so hard. Super nice girls! We had the hogan pina colada and just some fries since we ate earlier. Bar was laid back, mostly tourists but they are open until 2am and so is their kitchen. On the way out we saw Hulk Hogan which was cool. I would go back again. Karaoke is $25 admission.

Where else can you go eat meat food and bump into Hulk Hogan? I went up last Monday for their Championship Karaoke and it was a blast. They award wrestling belts to the winners which could be anyone. The winner Monday was a kid who rapped "Vanilla Ice's Ice, Ice Baby," the runner up was a retired Navy NCO who sang R & B and third place was a country boy who belted out some Hank Williams Jr. I ate an amazing burger and fries but the real selling point was the event, the atmosphere and the Hulkster!! Go check it out brother!!

Mediocre at best. Basic bar food, and nothing special. Drinks are overpriced, but that is what you get at a tourist spot. No local discounts. Even if you want to cool off from the heat, it still pretty hot inside. Rooftop has limited food option.

Went on Monday night to scout a location to watch the Super bowl. The hostess informed us if we wanted to pay $25 cover for karaoke we could stay on the first floor. We didn't want to spend an extra $50 so we were banished to the second floor. Food- Started with the Mahi bites. Came in a quick fashion. Were slightly under cooked and needed more seasoning. Tartar sauce helped with flavor. Ordered the Po Boy with coleslaw and the POKE nachos. Sandwich and nachos were very good flavor and really enjoyed them both. The coleslaw might have been the worst that I have ever had. It was a bad combination of chopped up leftover lettuce, a little cabbage and a cream sauce with little to no seasoning. I tried to add S&P, but didn't help. Service - Sat up to bar and noticed that the draft beer selection on the second floor was less than half of what the first floor had. I then asked about a couple drafts and they said they didn't have any. So I asked about a couple different bottles/cans and they were out of them too, so I went with a Hogan Pilsner. It was ok, average at best. Never did get a glass of water with our meals. I am not sure they had that on the second floor either. Possibly the most unfriendly service I have ever had. It was almost like we were a burden to them sitting up to the bar. I felt like I was living a bad season of bar rescue! Ambiance - Like a mentioned we were sent to the second floor if we didn't want to pay $50 in cover to listen to karaoke. The second floor had a cool little set up with some inside and some outside, but it lacked several beers. We were scouting out a place to watch the Super Bowl and we will continue to look. We won't be returning no matter how good the POKE Nachos and Po Boy were.

BIGGEST NACHOS I'VE EVER HAD!!!! 10$ The servers are nice...we had 1 bartender, he was so bad we turned around and left. We just came back another day :) Spacious and air conditioned on a blazing hot day at the beach is always a good thing! Don't forget to take a pic with the Hulkster!

It was okay. Kinda cool atmosphere, food was alright. Buffalo chicken dip was straight franks hot sauce. Expresso martinis were good!

The food choices are poor. The service abysmal and the ambiance not cool. Do not recommend.

Came here on a Sunday to watch football Food: really excellent. I got the po boy and it had a ton of shrimp and great flavor. Loved that it was served with chips. My husband got a quesadilla and it was good Drinks: the signature berry smash was just ok, but the drinks were well made and fast. I always try something "different" and it wasn't for me, but someone else would probably love it Atmosphere: just amazing if you're a sports fan. Every game, every tv, let us dry for hours Service: this is the biggest for me. Cheyenne might be the single best server I've ever had at a sports bar. We walked in and she gave us a tour both upstairs and down to find the best table for the games we wanted to watch. She was attentive, smart, and friendly. When she wasn't serving us she was running around, taking photos for people, checking in on anyone. She was absolute perfection.

It was Empty on a Saturday Evening. Super large place located on the Corner. We decided to sit up on the roof top and watch the sunset.. We had the roof to ourselves. Wasn't very impressed with the place in general. I can say of all the places we went during out Trip to Clearwater this was the only place that was Over Priced that's for sure. Don't think the server liked my question when they told me Nick Hogan was going to be there to DJ.. I asked who is nick hogan.. OOPS. The staff was great with all that being said Typical Bar food , mostly fried and put into baskets.

We went to Hogan's Hangout without high expectations since it had a 3.2 star rating. Even with low expectations, we were disappointed. I ordered the Blackened Shrimp Cobb Salad for $18, which our waitress said was a favorite menu item. The lettuce was brown and wilted, hardboiled egg was grey, and shrimp had translucent parts. I didn't eat much because I didn't want to get sick from it. It was missing guacamole and cheese. I tried one shrimp, and it didn't have much flavor despite being blackened. I didn't eat anymore since I was concerned the shrimp was undercooked. Our waitress never checked in on us, so I didn't get a chance to show her the poor quality of the salad. Our waitress was friendly, but we were on the upstairs patio and only saw her when we ordered and paid the check. No comment on how my salad wasn't eaten or the rotten lettuce I pulled out of the salad. She didn't ask how the food was. My husband ordered the steak tacos for $19, and it was only two tasteless tacos. I usually save 1 star ratings for food poisoning, but I really couldn't warrant giving this place two stars. Now we know why it was the only restaurant without a wait at lunchtime during Spring Break.

This was our first time here. Despite the 3 star rating, I was excited because I'm an old-school wrestling fan. I can remember sitting on the floor watch Hulk Hogan body slamming Andre the Gian or leg dropping Yokozuna. We sat on the patio since it was a nice day. It looked like there was some memorabilia inside, but sadly, the patio was pretty scant. I ordered the tacos, and my wife got a salad. Our server was inattentive, and our food took a very long time to arrive (especially given the simplicity of our order). When our food finally arrived, it was extremely bland. That's really all I can say. Just flavorless meat and some veggies in a soft tortilla. I would not recommend eating here. Even if you're a big wrestling fan, the nostalgia pop isn't worth the disappointment from the bad service and flavorless food.

Didn't even get a word in. I'm a Concierge in training and I went around the Clearwater strip asking for menus and information that makes their establishment stand out from others. When I visited Hogans Hangout a lovely lady greeted me and asked what I needed. It was hard to speak as the ambiance is pretty noisy between the busy street and their multitude of tvs and music going all at once. Half way into me asking my question; Who I assume to be her manager quickly snipped at me and told me no we don't have carry out and asked me to leave. Wasn't the question I was asking but if this is the service they provide upon entry, I know better than to send people their way.

This is a major tourist trap! BEWARE of the service charge. When asked about the service charged our waiter was very aloof in saying that it was a fee and he didn't think the restaurant received any of the money. BULL!!! He said that ALL the restaurants charge a fee and that the customer usually doesn't see it because they add it into the food. Then why doesn't Hogans Hangout do that?? The food we received was awful. Chips were very greasy and cheese sticks were cool temperature. The drinks were lousy. The service was eh. We waited for about 10 minutes before anyone actually came over to our table. (They had one table of 5 when we sat down and three people working upstairs). The ONLY good thing about this place is its location. I suppose if you're a "Hulk Hogan" fan it would be cool to go inside and look, just don't order their food or nasty watery "frozen" alcohol drinks, that have zero alcohol taste!!!

So much potential. So little execution. Seems like the staff is more interested in talking to each other than paying customers. Was a Thursday night. Not even close to crowded and we waited almost 10 minutes for a refill on drinks. We could only stay long enough for the chips and salsa. There's better chips and salsa at every bowling alley around here. As a business owner, I know it's hard to find good help these days but this place needs a complete overhaul of people. 3 stars was generous because the vodka makes me nice.

The food is mediocre at best. Fries are an up charge you don't know about and the only way to find out is you read the fine print. You're paying for a name that's it.

LET ME TELL YA BROTHER! THIS IS THE PLACE! Ok, getting the Hulk Hogan impersonation out, I was actually pretty impressed with the place. While it's a little bit on the pricier side and could be trashy at times, my buddy and I had an awesome lunch/dinner there yesterday after a day on the beach. It's conveniently situated by the beach and one of the few places you can make reservations. It's mostly bar food so I had the wings and a burger. The burger was great and so were the wings, but I kind of hoped they were a little spicier. The drinks were outstanding. My friend got the fried pickles. They were having some kind of reception upstairs so we had to sit outside, but that was ok. The service was actually pretty good. If there's anything "bad" about this place, it's that the prices are a bit high. Still, my friend and I had a good time and I'm guessing prices are at a premium in this area. Did not see Hulk Hogan, but heard he stops by once in awhile. Would I go back? Probably

Typical pub food with typical pub drinks. True homage to Hulk Hogan. Really loud music. Not a place to have conversations. Service was average. Had to find server a few times to help with some basic things. Pretty much what you'd expect from a beach town bar/restaurant.

Went here for Monday Night Karaoke...which is hosted by Nick Hogan and Hulk attends. Staff very attentive. Food is typical bar food. They have Hogan's Pilsner which was cold and refreshing.

Was not impressed. Server only came by to take order, bring food and give check. Guacamole was horrible and brown and when I asked for more chips since she forget to bring the guacamole it was an extra $2. So $16 for chips, salsa and bad guacamole. Burgers were over cooked. Shrimp taco was ok.

Idk what all these bad reviews are for. We had excellent service & enjoyed all our appetizers. We just bought several apps to share. We had chili cheese fries, spinach dip, buffalo tenders & and chicken quesadilla. Our food was hot, fresh & served in a timely manner. I want to return to try the French onion soup but it's too hot to eat it right now. it is rather loud in there but it's a bar so it's to be expected.

There is a big bar and plenty of seating but not air conditioning. The food was mehh mediocre. The prices were expensive for the quality but big portions. Staff was friendly woth live music. The place is very clean. But not worth the price for me :/ and food was really not flavorful

Hogan's Hangout had terrific food and a family friendly atmosphere. I loved the televisions and the wings!!!

Good daily specials and the karaoke on Monday nights is the biggest hit on the strip! Drinks are reasonably priced and I enjoyed the food I ordered. I would definitely recommend going to Hogan's Hangout!

A dump. Crappy food at high prices. The only draw is Hulk Hogan showing up for Karaoke nights on Mondays. 2 stars because the staff is very nice.

We got the flat bread, they were gooood. Live music was great. JJ was amazing, great service and music!!!!! Definitely recommend!!!!!

Oh yeah brotherrrrr! Came in for a little pit stop on the way to an event. Ya gotta stop in for a splash of Hulkamania. Grabbed a beer and some quick and easy apps - everything came out pretty fast. Expected average food but it was very good. Our server was very friendly Wish I had more time and will definitely come back to check it out in the future. Grabbed a nice gift for some friends while I was here. Recommend the deck upstairs if the weather is nice.

Walked in because of the guy singing and while he was amazing the service was not. The waitress was not attentive, my mixed drink had no alcohol in it, and the ice cream wasn't good.

We came here for a quick drink and stayed for a couple hours. Richie is the go to! AMAZING DRINKS ! ...and best service ..100% recommend

Hey there! Hogan's Hangout in Clearwater Beach is a blast! The bartender, James, is a powerhouse with his big arms, not just at mixing drinks but also at making sure everyone has a great time. And his kind smile just adds to the awesome vibe there! Plus, it's cool to see his passion for paintball shine through. He really loves it when you clap for him and cheer him on! It's like his own personal fan club at the bar!

My wife and I had breakfast on a Sept. Wednesday. Place was empty. Service was adequate. Food was mediocre and coffee was tepid at best due to stupid carafes. Better grub on opposite side of the block. Common sense should have prevailed when we chose to dine there.

overpriced but on clearwater beach that's expected. great tvs. foods ok. advertise 20% hospitality discount but the sever doesn't know she's actually hospitality then says oh no it's only if you work next door. never be back

Hogan's Hangout is located on Mandalay Ave amongst many other tasty and refreshing restaurants, grills, and food/drink stands. Hogan's Hangout has indoor seating as well as some patio seats right next to the sidewalk for your convenience. This bar is also located a quick walk away from the beach. If you make a pit stop at Hogan's Hangout: make sure to order a strawberry or pineapple mojito! Although we only ordered drinks, Hogan's offers a large menu containing delicious bar and seafood dishes.

Opt for sitting outside up top! Good food - bar food. Mozzarella sticks are fresh cut and amazing! Waitstaff friendly and attentive.

Let me tell you something brother!!! Hulk Hogan was a big part of my childhood so I had to come check this place out! The hangout was welcoming. Great location. The ambience was friendly & clean. The merchandise is pretty cool too. They had all you can drink bloody Mary's or mimosas until 12pm (we arrived at 11:30am) so we ordered one after another and the bartender kept them coming lol. Fast drink service was important in this case jijiji. The bloody Mary's were delicious. Excellent choice. I also ordered a coffee with a shot of Bailey's but they gave me an expresó martini instead. That sucker was strong but very delicious. The menu had a great selection and I decided to go with the Country fried steak, eggs & hash browns & a side of pancakes instead of toast. The food was so freaking good. Unfortunately my pancakes were a tad on the undercooked. Our waitress asked if I wanted toast instead. I said sure but didn't realize there would be a charge for toast when my pancake was not edible. That's probably the only hiccup in this whole experience. Usually restaurants don't charge when the food is not edible but like Hulk says "whatcha gonna do" Our waitress Krystin was awesome. Super friendly. Fast and funny. Overall- I would definitely come back to hangout here! It would've been great to see the HULKamania running wild but that'll be next time.
