Hogget Kitchen

This was the second time I have lunched at Hogget Kitchen and as before, completely enamoured with this place. It’s set outside of Warragul on a country trail which leads to an idyllic lush green winery setting. Immediately you are calm. You are welcomed by Trevor or one of his fabulous team and then brought to a table that ensures continued access to the terrific views, but enough about that. Onto the food and lunch experience. Well, what can I say? Much like the other reviews, the food is wholesome and exquisitely presented. I enjoy the fact that the ingredients are grown on the grounds or locally sourced where possible. Every morsel is original, either in taste or presentation. The best pumpkin soup I’ve ever had came from here and I am still wondering, how so! Every touch point in this restaurant is perfection. The some of Hogget’s Kitchen is not just Trevor or location, but the team that work with him in this endeavour. I look forward to many more lunches here.

The food was delicious and the setting was beautiful. Trevor and his team treated us to a very beautiful lunch. They went over and beyond to give us a generous and personable hospitality. We will definitely go back.

Foods were amazing. We never tried that taste anywhere so far. Fresh made, nice view, friendly staff. Nothing to complain...

Loved our experience here. The staff was great and lovely. The dishes were really good and even though we had a slight hiccup on one dish, Chef Trevor really extended the hospitality and offered us another in replacement. Mind you we did not ask for it either, goes to show that he really wanted us to enjoy our time there. Couldn’t be happier with the dining experience. Best dish of the day was definitely the Chestnut pasta! Super yum!

This an amazing & wholesome farm to table restaurant. There is a lot of great information about what and where your food comes from. I am not going into detail of every dish we had but they all had a lot of thought and technique. There is an important safety issue I like to raise, the entrance from the main road is hard to see, it's pitch back, please add some lights. We will return!

We had a wonderful lunch today, the food was amazing and the service was excellent. Trevor was so helpful explaining the menu and making recommendations (especially with gluten free options for me) and Bella was friendly and lovely! Thank you to Trevor for accommodating us on a last minute reservation. We will definitely be back again!

Our waitress Jackie was so fabulous. Knowledgeable, and perfect service. The food was delicious. We will return.

Wow! We had such a relaxed, leisurely and enjoyable Saturday lunch at Hogget. The service was great and accommodated the various physical needs of our party (deafness and walking difficulties) as well as our various dietary needs (dairy free and vegetarian). The food was fantastic with a focus on local products. Some highlights were the heirloom carrots, mushroom tart and raspberry tart. Highly recommended.
