Hohberg Restaurant & Hotel

The hotel rooms where white washed and spotless shinny clean in such a big degree that the room was giving the feeling of a hospital instead of a hotel. The breakfast was decent but nothing memorable. The location was OK since was very serene and close to nearby attractions. The free parking just outside was very convenient.

Big and clean rooms, the bar was open for locales so it was full. There is an elevator but you can't avoid going up a few steps, so with luggage it was a bit a hassle. Breakfast was fine

We stayed at Hohberg Hotel for 1 night on our recent visit, and it unfortunately didn't meet our expectations. Below is my comprehensive review of the hotel. Good: - The superior room was spacious. - The bathroom was large and clean. - The breakfast had a good selection of food with eggs, bacon, cheeses, and meats. - There were Tesla chargers next to the hotel parking lot, which was good as we were driving an EV. - Night/evening staff are excellent and very helpful. Could be better: - The room was located downstairs next to stables which we didn't prefer for our accommodation. Photos of the exterior of the rooms on booking websites would have helped with this. - From a practical perspective, the room lacked things like a phone to call reception, tea/coffee maker and we had to go reception to request anything. - There was no AC in the room and leaving any windows open was a no choice as it provides easy access to outsiders. There was a fan, but it wasn't powerful enough. - Location is a quiet area, but can get busy when there are events at the BBC such as the day we were in, meaning parking was a nightmare. Overall, we would have preferred to see more details or images of the accommodation before booking.

Overall good value for money. The breakfast a little basic but nevertheless good. I didn’t use any of the sports facilities but it seems there are multiple options. There’s a tesla supercharger just behind the hotel which makes it convenient for ev drivers.

We have visited this hotel during a past Easter vacation, it is very nice and quiet and a good point to stay when you visit Schaffhausen and the Rhein falls. It has a convenient parking too.

I didn’t stay at the Honberg Hotel but the restaurant had delicious food and great service. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Plus I felt like I was at the beach with this view. 😊🏖️

Wow! This hotel is truly exceptional! The atmosphere is inviting, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is simply outstanding. It’s hard to imagine what more one could ask for in a hotel experience. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 1 night at this hotel. Our main purpose was to stay next to rheinfall. We expected to have a more friendly receptionist. We had to wait for few minutes before the receptionist came for a check in. The room was nice and clean. However, the shower was broken. Breakfast was nice and tasteful. Only minus is that there were flies in an Apple juice. We didn’t know that the hotel had a horse camp. The hotel didn’t meet our rxpectstion, but as i said before our main purpose was to be next to rheinfall.
