Hohberg Restaurant & Hotel

We stayed at Hohberg Hotel for 1 night on our recent visit, and it unfortunately didn't meet our expectations. Below is my comprehensive review of the hotel. Good: - The superior room was spacious. - The bathroom was large and clean. - The breakfast had a good selection of food with eggs, bacon, cheeses, and meats. - There were Tesla chargers next to the hotel parking lot, which was good as we were driving an EV. - Night/evening staff are excellent and very helpful. Could be better: - The room was located downstairs next to stables which we didn't prefer for our accommodation. Photos of the exterior of the rooms on booking websites would have helped with this. - From a practical perspective, the room lacked things like a phone to call reception, tea/coffee maker and we had to go reception to request anything. - There was no AC in the room and leaving any windows open was a no choice as it provides easy access to outsiders. There was a fan, but it wasn't powerful enough. - Location is a quiet area, but can get busy when there are events at the BBC such as the day we were in, meaning parking was a nightmare. Overall, we would have preferred to see more details or images of the accommodation before booking.

I have stayed here for two times. First time the room heater and hot water is not working. No proper response from the state staff. The price is expensive for the facility that we get here. They had small Horse ride ground inside hotel premises.

Love the hotel, service slow and absent but the rooms are clean and nice🥰🥰🥰breakfast and food 🥰🥰🥰internet not very good if you’re in the 1 floor!

The soundproofing of this building is very poor, and some of the rooms have been rented out as apartments to families. I suffered from the noise of children running around upstairs until 23:00 and could not sleep.||The hotel is clean, the rooms are fine, but for the same price you could find far more attractive hotels in downtown Schaffhausen. I do not recommend this hotel and would not return.

High-level of professionalism in the staff. Very clean rooms, amazing breakfasts, and on top of that, the warm environment to make you feel at home. I stayed with my family 45 days, and experience was Excellent.

For business around Schaffhausen, a very good hotel to stay at with good employees, from réception until breakfast..Will stay again :)

don't sleep there for safety, reception arrogant, there were bugs in the room, we heard it was normal because we are not alone on this planet. The kids got bitten, we'll take the case to a lawyer, avoid this hotel !!!! To answer your comment : You're wrong, we have a video from your hotel where you can see that there are bugs in the room! bedbugs are where it is dirty, and as for food, scrambled eggs are not a quality product, and speaking about the weight of the client is inappropriate and shows a lack of culture and respect for guests
