Hoi An Lazy Bear Villa

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very clean, modern yet homey, beautifully decorated, loved balcony, neighborhood near rice fields and quiet but easy grab ride or walk into old town. Delicious homemade breakfast, kind family, given a map and some recommendations upon arrival, responsive on WhatsApp. Binh has great sense of humor. Great laundry service and got me affordable taxi to airport last minute. Just what I needed for a solo break from dorms to recharge. Great WiFi and AC. Just bikes could be better, but I found one to rent in old town for cheap. They accept credit cards which not all places do and that was very helpful. I love little touches like the small library with books I could read :) Thank you for everything!!! Highly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay here! We originally booked for one night and received an early check in and room upgrade for free! Later in our trip we came back to Hoi An and booked another two night stay. The rooms are very clean, modern and have lots of personal touches. We throughly enjoyed our swims in the peaceful pool area. Reccomend Lazy Bear hostel to anyone visiting Hoi An 😊🐻

We had a great experience at this hostel. The staff clearly made an effort to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Excellent value for money. They also kindly allowed us to use the shower after check-out, which made a big difference before taking an overnight bus.

Had a really great stay at Lazy Bear Hostel, booked a private room and was really reasonable, beds were comfy and bathroom all worked well. Really good to have choice at free breakfast and food was very tasty! Location is a bit out of town but is nice and quiet and close to a beach and taxis into centre were really cheap. We also had some issues with buses we had booked and hosts were super helpful in sorting out a new bus after we had a few cancelled.

This is one of the most pretty hostels I’ve stayed in. Speaking of which, if you stay in a room and not a dormitory, like I did, there’s nothing hostel about this place. I’ve stayed in hotels that do not come close to the Lazy bear hostel in regard to interior, cleanliness etc. And at this price? Lonely planet is right, this probably is the best bang for buck in town. The only downside I guess would be the location. It’s a little off, but if you unlike me don’t mind borrowing one of the [free] bikes you reach the city centre in just a few minutes. And riding a Grab is dirt cheap so if your feet are sore after walking, there’s no reason not to grab one. Pun intended. I should also mention the owners are both sweet and attentive. And they’ll happily arrange both pick up and drop off at the airport at a lower cost than say Grab or taxi. Would I stay here again if I come to Hoi an? Yes. Without hesitation.

The best place I've stayed in Vietnam. Run by a lovely family who couldn't do more to help you. Free bike rental made it so easy to visit the beaches and old town. The breakfast each morning was so tasty and a great way to meet other people staying in the Hostel. They even booked us transport to Da Nang for the same day with about an hours notice. Can't recommend enough.

Booked for 2 nights and ended up staying much longer. It was very easy to feel at home here and convenient to get to the beach or town. Free breakfast and free bicycles if you are chasing a budget stay! Also, there are no bunk beds so you get more privacy in your dorm room.

Binh and family were great hosts - sat down with us at breakfast to recommend Hoi An activities and shops. Private rooms were clean and spacious. Hostel located in quiet, non-touristy neighbourhood. Good access to town (10-15 min ride) with the bikes they provided. Pool out front was a nice bonus. Entire family was super genuine and made every effort to make our stay worthwhile.
