"Heads up in Hoi An Markets throughout the world yield beautiful travel photos of meats and produce arrayed in dazzling patterns of eye-popping color. The market in Hoi An, Vietnam , is no different--in parts. But this fish monger was hard at work cutting up the day's catch, reminding us that this is really all about putting fresh food on the plate."

Lots of souvenirs to buy but found it much cheaper in Danang. There were lots of cafe and their foods/drinks were great. The Old town area is vibrant at night. No wonder it’s called the City of Lanterns. If given a chance, would definitely be back.

If you want to get a real street food experience in Hoi An, you have to go to the Central Market! They have a ton of traditional dishes there for a super affordable price. Even though the market can get pretty crowded with tourists, it still feels really traditional and is a great place to try local food.

Overall is great make sure bring along mini fan, hat and apply lots of sunscreen. Great view however the price selling is overpriced from what I see. Need lots of bargain. Is lovely landscape and photo ops area. Different part of DaNang. Those that ride on bike please make sure keep the helmet inside the bike. We lost one there

A Place to eat LOCAL Vietnamese food, fantastic... many local food, just choose any that you feel like it, price all the same, no overcharge (basically 1 person own a few shops) Food : 4.5/5 (minus some of flies) Service : 4.5/5 just because they push too hard to sell you the food. But hey this is the local to ask tourist to eat at their place. Athmosphere : 5/5 authentic old market for me. There is a well outside the market. Overall, must visit place.

Lantern City Nice market same as other market in Vietnam just the difference is you can see lantern everywhere. You Can experience vibrant night life here. If you have visited other markets also then don’t worry nothing is much different here just same as others. But one thing is different here that i felt is there are more food options available here than other markets like Rice paper pizza and more.

We left the hotel early morning and met our guide in the Hoi An Market. It is was crowded with people coming to buy fresh meat, fish, seafood, vegetables and fruits and any other appliances needed for the daily cooking. People in Vietnam typically purchase what they need for the day. We could find all the green and fresh herbs used in the local cuisine, Fish, Seafood and fruits. The market also have local stores who makes fresh Vietnamese food on the spot like - Spring rolls, Fresh noodles, Fried fish and seafood and more. You can go over the attached photos and see the great variety of products sold in this market

About a third of the market hall is made up of food stalls, another third is dry goods, and the last third is fresh produce. It’s a very local experience—a real look into how goods are supplied to local households. I’m glad I took the time to sit down for a bowl of noodles and just watch the local hustle and bustle. It was such a rich and rewarding experience!

Local outdoor grocery stores—hundreds of vendors selling fresh produce—can be noisy, “smelly,” but wonderful stimulation of the senses. Get a taste of the locals life here! There are also lots of local treats to try.
