Best ramen I've had in SA. Every appetizer is a good one.

Went last night and left so surprised! My wife, daughter and I loved this restaurant. The pricing we great the food was top notch and the atmosphere was perfect. Will definitely be going back!!

Google
Food was pretty good, i ended up loving the spring rolls and chicken fried rice the most! The chicken was delicious, clean, and fresh. The teriyaki chicken had a surprisingly sweet taste to it but still decent. The miso soup was pretty good as well! Serving portions are good for the price! Will be coming back!

Google
First time here and we will be coming back! Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! This restaurant exceeded all expectations — from the warm and welcoming service to the beautifully presented and delicious dishes. Every bite was full of authentic flavor, fresh ingredients, and attention to detail. The ramen was rich and comforting, and even the appetizers were unforgettable. The atmosphere was great yet cozy, making it perfect for both date nights and special gatherings. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Google
LOVE this place, it was our first time there and the service was fast the atmosphere is great and the food is amazing! Everything we tried was so good on Tuesdays the apps are 20% off so we got the Japanese cucumbers, pot stickers (not pictured they were too good) The pork ramen and udon. The price is unmatched too for 2 appetizers and 2 ramens came out to $38!! We are already planning to go back. It’s a must try. (They also have drive through)

Google
A great lunch option. Besides my ramen noodles being a bit undercooked and a cold egg and some cold bamboo shoots it was really good. My mom loved her box and the cucumber salad is really refreshing yet savory. They were fast and friendly and cost as much as McDonalds but obviously sooo much better.

Google
This location is my new favorite Katsu spot! The service is great, and the ladies are very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and the portions are big and a very good price. I highly recommend!

Google
This is one of the best places to visit for exquisite dishes. My wife and I have visited a few times and each time we try something different. Each and every dish is amazing and their service is unparalleled. We can't wait to go back.

Google
I've been here two times now and both times food and service have been great. Service is quick. Ton Katsu was delicious. It was served differently than I expected (however last time I had it was in Japan). The presentation was far fancier than I was expecting yet the crispiness and taste were on point. I loved the pickled vegetables and cabbage. It was good with steamed rice or fried rice. Tea was served in a good peak bottle singles and I wish they served in a regular glass. It's also a better profit for the restaurant if they made their own tea. Water is free and the best option for affordable and free refills.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of visiting this place for lunch today and I can't wait to return. We started with Gyoza dumplings and fried octopus appetizers. Both were packed with flavor. For our entrées, we ate beef fried rice and beef stir fry udon noodles. Each dish was served piping hot which I loved. The best part was enjoying a meal with a homemade flair. I highly recommend Hoka Hoka Fuku the next time your are craving Japanese. You won't be disappointed. .

Yelp
Hoka hoka fuku is always in our weekend dinner rotation because of its consistency and quality. I've tried several things on the menu but I always come back to the potato croquette udon - it's so simple but so delicious. My husband is fond of the Gyu-Katsu but will occasionally order spicy ramen. Overall love the place. The location is quite small so try to avoid the lines and swing by before or after dinner rush. Or you can order ahead and pick up if you don't want to wait 45-90 minutes for a table.

Yelp
I started with the Pork Belly Bao Bun. It was moist and savory. The Ramen was flavorful and filled with savory ingredients. Cooked perfectly. This quaint little Japanese eatery is nicely decorated, very neat, and staff are very attentive. Definitely will be back to try other menu selections.

Yelp
Our experience here was fantastic. We were here on a Friday night. A little bit of wait but we were seated soon. This place mainly serves ramen, katsu and udon. We ordered takoyaki for appetizer and I got the karaage udon noodles for entree. Both of them were super flavorful and delicious. For dessert we got the Japanese cheesecake which was very light and spongy. We stayed till closing time. Highly recommend this spot!

Yelp
Super awesome place! Everything was yummy! Nice and fresh tasting. The staff was very informative on the menu and super sweet. It was nice and clean inside and can't wait to go back!

Yelp
AH. MY CHEESE TONKATSU WAS NOT IT. THE WAITRESS WASN'T VERY NICE BUT THE UDON WAS GOOD! Customer service: 3.5/ 5 We have now come Twice! The first time we came (4/1/25) we absolutely loved it! The udon noodles absolutely stole the show! We ordered the edamame, karrage chicken, ramen, a bowl of udon and a stir fry! The waitress forgot my bowl of udon :( she got confused, and said she thought I didn't want it?? Then she said she forgot? That Dan Dan bowl was so good I let it go- on our second trip (4/4/25) I completely hated the meal and service we received. My food was overcooked, tasteless, and when I mentioned it to our server, the lady just said "How would you like to pay???" She didn't ask why I didn't like it or if she could fix it. That for me, was a deal breaker lol Food: 3.5/5 SOME of the food is great! I highly recommend the udon stir-fry, the dan dan udon, and the spicy edamame. I also liked the karrage chicken although my sister didn't. . On the second round- ahhhhhhhh. The food didn't quite hit the same. I wanted to try something new and good lord- nooooooooo. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THE CHEESE AND PORK KATSU- It was quite possibly the worst I've ever had. I think It may have been like freezer-burned??? It was hard, and absolutely tasteless. The waitress noticed I didn't eat it at all! It wasn't edible... The ONE thing I absolutely loved was the DAN DAN udon! Also- the Japanese cheesecake. My sister got the "fried rice" and there was nothing special about it. There is nothing in it but soy sauce and maybe a bit of egg, but that's it. We also got a cucumber salad, it was good for the price. Price: 3/5 cheese chicken katsu : $18.00 w/ fried rice. *skip this item* Edamme: 7.00 worth it. It's good! Udon stir-fry: 13.00 Dan Dan udon: 13.00 Karaage chicken: 7.00 Cucumber salad : 4.00 Ramen: 13.00 All around: 3.5/5. I would only go back for the Dan Dan Udon noodles, that's the honest truth. I guess what really rubbed me the wrong way was the staff. When we were asked "How was your meal?" Because the woman noticed I didn't eat the gof awful katsu- I told her I didn't like it. she just giggled and asked how we would Like to pay.....I think that is so odd and even rude. I didn't want anything free, but she could've asked why I didn't eat it or how many they can get it right for the next person? Instead, nothing. So- that's okay! We will only be back for noodles lol

Yelp
This is my favorite ramen spot in San Antonio! Food is always good at a great price point. Service is always attentive and nice. The inside is small and can get a bit busy but is 100% worth the wait. I always leave satisfied after my meal. I would definitely recommend Hoka Hoka Fuku if you want good, affordable ramen.
google avatar

Yelp
Service here was quick and friendly! You really can order, eat, and be out of here within an hour because of how quick the food came out! I ordered the chicken katsu, which I loved the presentation of! Mine was very yummy and it came with miso soup, rice, pickled vegetables, and the concoction to make my dipping sauce with freshly toasted sesame seeds! My bf got the Gyo Don, which is the beef rice bowl and said the flavors were very yummy. He ended up adding some sriracha for spice. The main thing that didn't give this 5 stars was the appetizer -- Iko gesa age, which is fried squid tentacles. It was extremely overcooked and we could barely bite into it so we did not end up eating it.

Yelp
We came here on a Monday for lunch. The restaurant is in a large strip mall with tons of parking. It's a pretty small restaurant, but we sat right away. Our server was very attentive. We started with the kani fries, which had way more crab(krab?) meat than we expected. I got pork tonkatsu and my wife got chicken yakisoba. We loved our meals and the portions were large enough to bring home leftovers.

Yelp
Ramen is amazing, some of the best I've had in the city! All food is great, we love this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table since we had an early dinner--very small place but the food is so delicious! The fried rice with chicken is made To order and has an almost sweet taste to it so I added soy sauce to balance it out and it was great! My son had fried chicken strips with condiments and white rice. I tried The chicken which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside--very, very tasty!

Yelp
Everything was amazing and incredibly fresh! Ramen was our first time trying and would definitely have again. Cannot go wrong with the potstickers.

Yelp
I tried Hoka Hoka Fuku on a Sunday afternoon with my family and I was so happy we found this little gem. The service was outstanding, food was totally authentic and delicious, then the prices were super fair. We tried gyoza, takoyaki and edamame for appetizers. All were excellent. I had the spicy ramen for my main course which was one of the best I've had this side of the Pacific. Finally, we tried their homemade cheesecake for dessert. It's nothing like NY cheesecake, instead it is light and fluffy with all the flavors. I'm definitely a fan and will be a regular!

Yelp
Expect there to be a bit of wait as this restaurant is small (although they do utilize the space well for seating). Menu is pretty simple and straight forward, drinks are bottled or canned grab and go style in a sliding refrigerator at the front. I did have to call attention to a server out of my section because we had waited more than 15 mins at our table with no service. The gyoza was yummy, the black garlic tonkatsu ramen was delicious and the katsu was a fun experience. I have never had the opportunity to grind my own sesame seeds. I did not like the cold edamame that tasted microwaved however. Overall the establishment was clean, had friendly service, and good tasting dishes.

JJ S.

Yelp
Food served fresh and hot. Service was spotty however. Food had good taste but I didn't get that umami experience o I was looking for. Place is small and coz. I ordered some fried shrimp as unadvertised appetizer and some dumplings

Yelp
The way they make Karaage wasn't the same as how Japanese do so it was a bit different. Ramen was ok. Katsu was good and liked how they present the food like Japan.

Yelp
Today, before the Babe and I start our Spring Cleanse to get these bodies ready for the summer, we decided to treat ourselves to Hoka Hoka Fuku. As an avid lover of Asian food and overseas travel, I love comparing my American eats to my time overseas, to see if the flavors from abroad can be found in eateries around my way. With Asian food on my mind, the photos on Yelp did this establishment justice, as it woo'd me through the doors with the thoughts of Katsu and Ramen in my belly. The Scene: Hoka Hoka Fuku can be easily accessed in the parking lot of Home Depot, multiple stores and is located off of Interstate 1604. The establishment's decor was reminiscent of an Okinawan restaurant that was adorned with lanterns and decor, that set the mood for a nice lunch. The Meal: As this was our first time at Hoka Hoka, our waitress, who greeted us nicely highlighted some key items and explained some choices that were being placed on other tables. We decided to try. 1. The Gyoza 2. Shrimp Tempura 3. A to go order of : Tokayaki 4. Shoyu Fuku 5. Hokkaido Egg Tart 6. Chicken Tontso 7. Shrimp Ebi The appetizers were out within minutes along with our drink orders. The gyoza stole the show as the juice poured out of them with each bite. The sear on the bottom was perfect, and the insides were plump with meat and vegetables. We moved quickly into our tempura appetizer and within minutes, our main course dishes were placed in front of us. Everything was excellent and it's rare, due to my hunger that I can simply pause and eat to allow my senses to take over the meal. The smell of the flagrant curry hit me before the tray was placed down onto the table. The salad dressing was zesty/tangy and provided a great taste to the crunchy salad. With senses in overload, the chicken Katsu was just as flavorful and had a perfect crunch coating on the outside to accompany the moist meat. I took a moment to share my babe's shrimp and was glad I took the option to add the bowl of curry for $3. While incredibly delicious, our meal with some orders to go was about $100. Ohhhhhh I miss the old days where one outing doesn't cost you a week's worth of groceries. All in all, we loved everything and will definitely add this location to our Asian fix. Highly recommended: Da Islandgal29412

Yelp
Great find! I had the Dan Dan Udon and my husband had the Miso Fuku Ramen - both were delicious, just right portions! It was a fabulous dining experience. We also had a cucumber (pickle) appetizer and that was amazing as well! Do visit and enjoy this delicious surprise. We almost thought it was closed! One, it appeared pretty dark from the outside on a bright sunny day. Don't be fooled by the dark look. Two, their "open" sign wasn't turned on. I'm so glad my husband told me to take a ch ace and walk in and check while he parked. We would have missed out! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Service was pretty fast and efficient Ordered a Spicy Tonkatsu, Chicken Karage, and Chicken Katsu Karage was 3.5, a little too much breading and not enough crispness Tonkatsu was solid 4 (tough to go further than that since we had plenty in Japan), noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth had a great pork flavor Katsu would be a 4 as well with same commentary as the Ramen. Overall, a great Japanese spot

Yelp
Small establishment. Quick and friendly service. Bowls are full of ingredients and very tasty.

Yelp
The service is good, price is right and food is delicious. Nothing to complaint about this place.

Yelp
An amazing restaurant with good food, and great staff. This is a very casual restaurant and they offer anything from ramen, udon, katsu (this is a favorite of mine) and rice bowls. I have tried most items on the menu and none of them fail to disappoint. The katsu offers a very unique experience, as it comes in a nice tray with soup, side veggie dish, a bowl of rice, your katsu protein (which you can do pork, chicken, etc I always do the pork) and a bowl for sauce, and a separate bowl for sesame seeds and a stick to crush your sesame seeds and add into your sauce for a unique experience. They have a good selection of drinks, including sake and Asian beer. Prices are fair, and I recommend their cheesecake for dessert but they also have hokkaido tarts, (yum) and mochi ice cream. My experience here is always a delight, and always good food. I recommend you come here with friends and family.
google avatar

Jacquelyn C.

Yelp
The restaurant was full when we came in, but we were still able to be seated pretty quickly. Service was quick, but a bit inattentive. The katsu was very good and comes as a pretty large spread. The miso soup that comes with it is a tad salty, but the rice has chew to it and is nice and sticky. The cabbage salad tastes better than it sounds/looks. The dressing that comes with it is super flavorful and the cabbage is shredded thinly so it gets coated really well. The katsu itself is crispy and moist and pairs very well with the sauce provided. The spread also comes with sesame seeds you can grind yourself and add to your sauce.

Yelp
On vayca it's the holidays did a quick stop to detour and found this place. It's cute the waiters are very quick and friendly. The food is delicious and authentic the taste is exceptional. Must try

Yelp
Great food! From start to finish the food was spot on to what you want from a Japanese place. The only real issue is the curry experience. With everything separated on the platter to look more like a bento box, you miss out on the curry, rice and chicken experience you'd normally have. Flavors make up for a lot of it.

Yelp
Great food and great service! We love this place. Always delicious. Chicken karage with spicy mayo is our fav appetizer

Yelp
First time here, and I was NOT disappointed!! The place was crowded at 330pm on a Sunday. Walked in to a whole Japanese vibe! The flags, the decor, the simplicity of the furnishings. Very nice. I got the last two top, and was by myself, so that worked out perfectly. Asked the server for recommendations, even though I had my eye on one thing. And, y'all! She recommended what I was thinking I wanted. I should've take a pic of the menu, because I'm not seeing what I ordered on the menus posted. Pretty certain it was called Ton Ton & it was spicy with ground chicken, mushrooms, bok choy, scallions, the server recommended I add corn so it wasn't so spicy (I didn't think it was that spicy at all. It was really tasty!!) also added an egg and I'm glad I did too (there was half of one included) but I love that rich flavor of the yolk with the soup! This soup was sooooo good!! Every bite was delish! I thought it was a bit much with that ladle they brought out, but, believe me, it was utilized! Ordered gyoza pan fried to start. It was good, but the star of the show for me was the soup. Ok, be right back, going to get more now! Ha! Good service, great soup, I'll def be back to try again!

Yelp
I've been a loyal customer to this restaurant for about 3 years and I've never had an issue until tonight. I ordered my usual Aka Fuku ramen for takeout but they completely forgot to give me my pork belly with my order. I'm not going to a big deal about it because I was hungry and inhaled everything as per usual but I'm highly disappointed because their pork belly is awesome and they just plain forgot. I'll happily change this back to a 5 star review but yeah...please don't forget my pork belly next time especially when my other ramen ordered got theirs. You're better than that!
google avatar

Heiry V.

Yelp
The food was delicious, fried to absolute perfection. The meal I ordered and the appetizer were fried, yet despite finishing everything, I didn't feel weighed down. You'll leave feeling completely satisfied without any feelings of guilt.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place! First time we tried it, it was take out and it was very good considering the long ride home. Second time, we dined in and the ambiance is very cozy and cool ~ staff is very welcoming and friendly! The ramen is soo good, I wouldn't doubt if they make their own noodles. Also Love the open kitchen concept, as it gives it a Connection between you and those making your food
google avatar

Jenny N.

Yelp
Ordered the takoyaki and it was very tasty, but it had very little octopus in it. I also had the curry don and it tastes exactly like every other good japanese curry I've had. My only qualm is that I prefer more curry to rice ratio, and there was only enough curry to coat all of the rice, whereas I'd like to have a bit more. The serving size was also a lot smaller than I expected, but it was filling bc there was a lot of rice. Service was fast during peak time.
google avatar

Mitch E.

Yelp
Hoka Hoka Fuku is so very good. The service and servers were very nice and approachable. We started out with the Kani fries and they were very good. Crisp and not overly salty fries. The kani was also very good and room temperature to not make the fries cold. I ordered the beef udon which was great. I added an egg as an additional touch. The beef was finely shredded and tasted great. My husband had the ramen and he was also impressed. It was about $44 before tip and it was well worth it. The restaurant is small but has a good amount of tables. It's not too loud and there was some nostalgic 90s music in the background. Overall, great and we will be back.

Yelp
I drive by this place every Sunday on my way to Taco Palenque. I was interested in trying it out after reading some reviews about it but just never got around to doing so. Since I was getting my haircut in the area, I decided to try it out. I ordered pick up. I went with the Ton Katsu. The woman advised it would be ready in ten minutes. I picked up the order at the restaurant within the 10 minutes. I thought the bag felt a little light as I was walking back to my car. I drove back to my house about 5 minutes down the road. Right off the bat, I was disappointed with the portion size. It looked like a kids meal For the price I had paid I was expecting more, especially for $16. Since I had gotten fried rice there was an additional $2 charge. The food was good but there wasn't enough of it. I was also bummed I didn't get miso soup as that is only for those dining in. Also, I was expecting the food to be hotter temp wise. I read other reviews and they all had the same gripe about portion size. I can say I've been here but it was the first and last time.
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday around 6pm and it was fairly busy but we were seated within a few minutes. The ramen is a solid option here! We got the Aka Fuku (red) ramen, the Kuro Fuku (black) ramen, and 1 order of Harumaki egg rolls. The pork belly was awesome, not too fatty and not dry. The broth was not too creamy and a good balance of fatty and salty. I thought the egg rolls were ok, I think some added protein would enhance the egg roll. I will say I had ordering regret immediately after I placed my order for ramen because many tables ordered Katsu bentos and they all looked AMAZING!! I almost ordered one to go but I was too full after my ramen. I will definitely be back to try the katsu.

Yelp
Best Ramen we've had since arriving in San Antonio 2 years ago coming from California and living in Japan. We know good Ramen! Great and friendly service as well. You won't be disappointed

Yelp
Tried the sesame chicken and Sizzler Momo's. Service was fast, servers were nice! Cool spot to hang for dinner. Adding this restaurant to my list of favorites!

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times and each time I'm back I'm always happy. Each dish I've gotten has been incredible: curry, Dan Dan noodles, teriyaki chicken, ramen, gyoza and more. You really can't go wrong with the menu here. To top it off the service is always great.
google avatar

Leticia S.

Yelp
Yall, the food. THE FOOOOOD. Okay, it is their anniversary so they have Bogo alcohol and appetizers. So what else do you do at lunch when you don't have to work, NOTHIN. This is it (drink responsibly folks). I ordered the Aka fuku ramen and the pan fried chicken gyoza. TAKE MY MONEY. The ramen was so full of flavor. Just layers of flavor and spice and deliciousness. The sauce that is served with the Gyoza was magical (you could taste the ginger and soy sauce). The only issue I had was over the definition of alcohol with the server. She stated that only the beer was Bogo. I tried to explain that wasn't the definition of alcohol. She came back and apologized. But it did not leave a great first impression. Overall, the experience was nice and I would definitely come back for the ramen.
google avatar

Stephanie M.

Yelp
I eat here weekly which should tell you how amazing the food is. The ramen is rich and flavorful and is the best Ramen I have had in San Antonio. Do yourself a favor and eat here. You won't regret it and you'll be addicted like me and need to eat here every week..
google avatar

Mary Ann C.

Yelp
The service is normally good. Depending on how busy it is. Overall, I can't complain. On the weekends, they are busy, and you want to get there early. One time, I had to wait over 30 minutes for a table as the area wasn't big for a busy weekend. I normally get the chicken yakisoba. I say it's flavorful and filling. The portion size is good for the price. The staff is friendly and on top of things. Sometimes a little to on top of things. I was taking a pause and had my chopsticks on my plate and a waitress just tried to take my food away from me before even asking. I told I'm still working on it. Just taking a little break. She had apologized, but they should ask before trying to take your food. Is it as good as if you were in Japan ordering yakisoba ...no not really. No where even close but we aren't in Japan so it's good enough. I miss living in Japan and ordering yakisoba.

Yelp
Hoka Hoka Fuku is honestly everything I love about a restaurant. Fun, tasty, and affordable. The menu has great variety while remaining selective at the same time. There are 4 sub-menus: donburi, ramen, udon, and katsu, each with around 5-7 items. As a result, you will never get tired of coming back to try something new while not getting overwhelmed at the same time. The appetizers are also super fun! We got the kani fries and the agedashi tofu. The kani fries is such a concept! I've never seen crab and fries go together but it was honestly delicious! The portion is big enough for a small group. The fries were super crunchy and went perfectly well with the soft sweet crab. The agedashi tofu also had a super homemade feeling to it. It is served with finely chopped daikon which dissolved in the sauce as you mix in everything, adding a layer of complex flavor (I recommend scooping some daikon and put on top of your tofu so you taste it with every bite!) As for the ramen, I've been to many ramen places and I've learned that there many ways to tweak the dish to make it more unique. However, I have a lot of respect for places that nail the classic flavor of ramen, and Hoka Hoka Fuku definitely nailed it. Rich earthy broth with umami eggs, tender pork cutlets, and crunchy toppings makes a fulfilling and delicious bowl. Nothing pretentious. If you feel adventurous, you can also order the "aka" (red) fuku, which is basically just the base ramen but with chili paste! As for the price, everything was very affordable. The ramen bowls were at most $13 per bowl. I didn't try the donburi (rice bowls) but they were $8 per bowl! I've honestly not see this level of affordability recently at any restaurants I've been to. The restaurant itself was full of diners and authentically decorated. The servers were very helpful and gave us advice on all the top hits from the menu. Like I said above, I'd definitely come back to try different sections of the menu, which I bet are all delicious!

Yelp
Authentic tonkotsu experience even up to grinding your own sesame seeds for the tonkotsu sauce. The pork buns appetizer was pretty good but the Kani fries weren't anything great.

Yelp
Coming from a Houston native, this place is not too shabby for San Antonio! My younger kids ordered shrimp tempura udon and I was impressed to see that they gave you 4 pieces of shrimp. Most only give you 1-2. I will say, though, they were a bit overcooked and crunchy. They loved using the giant spoons that came with the udon as well. I ordered the dandan udon, so they also gave me a giant spoon, but I had to ask them for a regular spoon. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my udon. Hubs and the eldest both ordered the Aka Fuku / Red ramen. They are ramen fanatics and they said the ramen wasn't bad at all. The only dish I didn't care for was the chicken karaage. It wasn't bad at all... but it was too heavy and the pieces were too big for me. Service was splendid. The restaurant is a bit dim. Overall, not bad of a place.

Kelly C.

Yelp
They're fried rice is the best! We've had it twice and haven't been disappointed. It's my granddaughters favorite place to eat. Consistent, fresh and always delicious

jasmine j.

Yelp
Japanese dream Cuisine come true! I had their chicken fried rice and their Chicken teriyaki, what I loved most. The crispy, crunchy chicken and that amazing teriyaki sauce paired well together. On top of that the sauce wasn't an over bearing yaki flavor. The rice at the bottom was sticky and cooked well to the tea. If I could eat something everyday I would eat. The service was great and where one lacked in another server picked up. It's a cute place and small seating area but definitely recommend sitting down. Especially if it's the first time. Amazing Japanese Food.

Yelp
The food was so fresh & amazingly good. I had the prawns with fried rice. Ebi Katsu. The tempura batter on the prawns very light & tasty & prawns large. Sorry - I didn't take any photos- too busy eating my delicious food. Next time I will eat the white rice as I thought the fried rice tasted a little greasy to me. The salad and dressing was great. The server Joe (I think) told me it was shredded cabbage, very unusual. He was very kind and polite; he showed me how to eat everything since it was my first time. Very clean place and most inviting. I definitely will go back and take photos next time.

Yelp
The place is small but really quaint, the service was very appropriate and knowledgeable of the menu, our order was served timely and all the rolls and noodles were amazing. We will be coming back! Amazing hidden jewel!

Yelp
Hoka Hoka Fuku hard to say but so easy to eat their food!! We'd been wanting to try this spot for a while and finally decided to check them out on a Friday right after they opened at 5PM. When you walk through the hung curtains everyone gives a big welcoming hello! We were seated right away and our waitress was quick to come to our table. She took our drink order, and gave us a few minutes... Right away our Sake arrived and she graciously poured our first shots! We were there for appetizers mainly and I ordered a few. A short few minutes later the appetizers started to arrive! First out were the Pork Buns, Soft but, tasty and tender pork, with just enough sauce, second was the cucumber salad, It was drenched in sauce and sesame! so crunchy, refreshing ad delicious! Third the Takoyaki, they were awesome piping hot and soft and full of filling, Fourth was the Karaage! OMG so good! Crunchy and juicy chicken that was perfectly fried! Fifth was the Agedashi Tofu, fried to perfection, lots of dipping sauce and veggies! Last but not least was the Cheese Tonkatsu Plate!! Cheese and pork was fried perfectly, refreshing salad, very tasty fried rice just perfect!! At this point we could barely move from being so full, but we were so happy and satisfied! Cant wait to go back and try the rest of the menu! Great atmosphere, very clean, great staff, and awesome food!!
