Hola, established in 2015, is one of the pioneers of Madrid's specialty coffee scene. They roast their own beans, almost all single origins. For espresso, you can choose between two types of roasts: traditional (chocolatey) and modern (fruity). They also have batch brew and pourover (Orea). For pourover, you can try any of the beans they have in store. The coffee is served in lovely artisan mugs.
There's a small food menu, consisting of toasts, sandwiches, granola, porridge and sweets. We only tried the cinnamon roll, which is great.
The place itself is minimalistic. Not particularly inviting to hang out, in my opinion, but you regularly see people reading a book or working on their laptops.
